Lung Issues

Hello, I have been struggling with a lung infection called MAC for about 10 years. It is a rare distant relative of TB which then causes all sorts of secondary infections of bronchitis. I have just started using Bill Munro's inhalation method. I am wondering if any else out there has been diagnosed with MAC and if you have had any positive experiences with H202 or any other remedy, I believe I have tried everything from diets to drugs to Chinese medicine to acupuncture. I am hoping that the H202 works because its really my last hope... I will keep you posted on the H202 inhalation. I've started gently, 3 inhalations 4X a day.

I have a chronic lung infection. I wrote about it a few days ago. I started the inhalation therapy last Sunday (6 days ago) with one inhalation and then now I am up to 4 inhalations 5 -6 times a day. My breathing is worse, my chest hurts and I am extremely tired. The interesting thing is that my chronic cough has gone away but the other symptoms worry me. Has anyone experienced these? Any suggestions? I'm afraid that if I have some sort of infection sores in my lungs that they are being very irritated.

this is really interesting due to many benefits of getting extra oxygen. so i've been researching to find out as much as I can, and also to make sure it is safe.
From what I can tell, this H202 inhalation method is probably true, in which case Bill really has got an incredible amount of benefit from this method of taking H202 and with minimal side effects
However, on the other hand. until i see proof i cannot be totally convinced.
there are some more than unsavory people out there who will do anything to profit from drugs and destroy alternative medicine, and I know it wouldn't be difficult to pay a guy to do this if it were a ploy to give alt medicine a bad name, and to trick idiots into making themselves sick
that being said however, i have trusted bill enough to try it on myself
i have been using this for a week now.
new symptoms: cough
multiple chest worries
it feels like there is sores in my lungs when i breath. and the top of my lungs/chest/up to my throat feels like its being pressured. it feels like someone punched me in the throat
anyway, here is a bit of info I found:
Ozone, the tri-atomic oxygen, is less stable than O2 and its otherwise helpful free radical O1 could become toxic if given in the wrong amount. In the same way, oxygen, which is absolutely needed to sustain life, can also be toxic if excessive amounts are introduced into the body, especially under hyperbaric conditions, in other words under pressure. With its additional O1, ozone when breathed irritates the respiratory mucus membrane because this lining of the lungs is filled with toxins inhaled from the air. The O1 in ozone oxidizes or burns up these pollutants and the resultant oxides cause irritation and a coughing reaction to expel them. If the air we breathed was pure oxygen, ozone would most likely not have this effect. Nonetheless, the effect of over-oxidation of toxins in the lungs due to excess O1 can damage the respiratory mucous membrane, which is why it is never taken directly into the lungs. Similarly if too large a quantity were introduced into the blood, ozone could damage the blood cells for the same reason (over-oxidation). Yet this would be difficult to achieve because it is easily avoided due to the tell-tale coughing sensation that arises when the body reaches its saturation point. Thus, if ozone is used cautiously, it can never be given in excess and can only improve the metabolism of the oxygen in the cell.
This is very worrying for me as I am a heavy cannabis smoker. I probably inhale more than half a gram of multiple poisons and drugs and crap everyday if you work it out and look at whats in the tobacco and cannabis smoke that i breath. this stuff being oxidized in my lungs worries the hell out of me.
I recommend ANYONE who smokes NOT to use this method.
Until someone steps forward who is a smoker and has tried this for a duration of more than a couple of months, I would seriously reconsider the risk.
I may or may not continue. I feel that it is important for us to learn but also we can not forget our original agenda: health.

Peggy Not familiar with MAC however bronchitis & asthma I know; I hardly ever use my inhaler anymore I used to use 2puffs x 4 per day, sometimes even more being a smoker, plus I had a steroid as well, now maybe 2 or 3 times in 6 mos. and no steroids. I now use the good quality Oil of oregano I sniff it right out of the bottle, in the beginning I inhaled everytime I thought about it. the deeper the better, there are lots of labels out there however you only get what you pay for the cheapest is usually just that cheap. This stuff is great, many many uses I'm sure it will kill some of the bacteria and infection check it out on the internet Your breathing will inprove and the phlem breaks up and if you have a cold or stuffy nose yep it clears the nasal passages. good luck and good health Blessings Dianne

Dear Elizabeth in Nashville,
Thank you so much for your response. I have a few questions for you. Did you continue to use your asthma inhalers while on the H202? Do you still need them? You said you wouldn't be without the H202 now. How is your breathing? Is the chest tightness and asthma gone?
I had to stop the H202 after several days - I think I increased the number of inhalations too quickly. I have started gain with a very very low dose (one inhalation 3 times a day) and at the moment I'm still uncomfortable but want to persist for several more weeks gradually increasing the number of inhalations and see how I feel.

Hello Peggy...to answer your questions I do still take my asmtha medication.. (Advair diskus)...I try to space my medication and the HP out so I don't take them at the same time. I am currently going to a Dr. that specializes in HP therapy and she said there should be no problem if I continue taking my medications. I currently have no chest tightness and I haven't taken a rescue inhaler in weeks. I think one of the reasons for this is because I have been coughing up mucus that would have usually stayed in my lungs if not for the HP. I don't think my asmtha will ever go away but if I can keep it under control than I am HAPPY. I can even work out and not have to use my albuterol...which is nice! I have been continously taking the HP (8 pumps 3 times a day) and may increase this gradually. I have honestly not felt this good in YEARS. I was always so TIRED..sometimes I didn't think I would make it out of bed. Now I have tons more energy.
I started out slow the first couple of days...just 3-5 pumps once a day. Plus I had been drinking BS (1/4 tspn in 4 oz water once daily) to alkalize my body so this may have helped with the detox effect.
Hope everything goes well for you!

GERD
Posted by firsttimer (Detroit, Michigan) on 05/03/2009

I have really bad GERD which has done some damage to my esophagus causing me to have bad breath. I decided to try the Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation after reading the Yeas and Nays. I only did a few squeezes into the back of my throat and it Burned. Not an I will never do this again, burn but a burn never the less. Is this normal or could it be because my throat is raw from the GERD?

I have done this a number of times and it has only burned a small amount when I had a sore throat last winter. So I am guessing it's your gerd. You might want to try another remedy until the rawness goes away.

I tried the hydrogen peroxide inhalation remedy. i was having a lingering bronchitis. i feel like it did help, although i did have a nebulizer with essential oils and a few other things other things i was doing.
i want to warn people about the hydrogen peroxide. a few weeks into doing a spray every 2 hours. i noticed a white patch of hair on my chin. i am 24 years old. i have light brown hair. and this patch is WHITE. its about the size of a pea, but the hairs are very white. and it has remained for months now. I think this has to do with the hydrogen peroxide because i just read an article stating that HYDROGEN PEROXIDE MAKES YOUR HAIR GO GRAY. http://www.lifeagingand.com/life/hydrogen-peroxide-makes-hair-go-gray/

Taking at least 1,000 mg vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) may be able to protect this. H2O2 neutralizes vitamin C and a vitamin D deficiency can cause hair color loss.

I've used the Bill Munro's drug store 3% H2O2 method for about 3 days. It increased my lung capacity and cleared my sinuses but it also gave me a sore throat on the 3rd day. Then I got a bloody nose and coughed up blood. I guess it's possible that the blood in the lungs drained down from the nose but I suspect it's doing something quite harmful to my lungs.

I wrote a post about throat irritation and coughing up blood about two weeks ago. I talked to Bill Munro about it and he suggested that it might be a die off of an old virus. I took a break for a couple of days and then resumed the H2O2 inhaling but with a 1% solution instead of the 3%. This is working much better. I frequently still get mucus in my lungs after inhaling the H2O2 but I'm considering it to be beneficial and I think it is a clearing out process. I may up to dose to 2% at some point.

I found I couldn't use it several times a day for several days without throat pain and additional chest congestion. It works great to clear out my lungs when used occasionally.

Regarding: Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation
It is worth bearing in mind that recent research has discovered that of the 4000 chemicals found in cigarette smoke, it hydrogen peroxide that actually causes cancerous changes in lung cells.
http://www.bio-medicine.org/medicine-news-1/Scientists-Find-Cancer-Culprits-in-Cigarette-Smoke-13028-1/
In the future, this may mean safer cigarettes, which have the hydrogen peroxide removed.
But research like this should make you a little more cautious about inhaling hydrogen peroxide.
By contrast, it has been recently shown that hydrogen peroxide used in teeth whiteners is completely safe, and does not cause mouth cancer.
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/11/061116122158.htm
I often brush my teeth with 3% hydrogen peroxide, so this is good news. This gives you beautifully white teeth after doing for a month.
As for the internal use of hydrogen peroxide, I have seen no research to say that it is either safe or dangerous, so this something of an unknown.
I have taken hydrogen peroxide internally myself, just a couple of drops of food grade 35% in a large glass of water, and this did clear a long standing infection I had. However, I am not sure that I would like to take hydrogen peroxide on a continual basis.

Let's remember that there are different grades of HP. The food grade is safe for consumption (in small %). I'm guessing the one used in cigarettes are different grade which has additional chemicals added to it which makes it dangerous.

Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation and smoking:
I have been reading through many different forums on the internet and find wanrning sbout HP inhalation and smoking. I have also been trying to quit and have heard that after 72 nicotine is completely out of your system. My concern is, that using the inhalation method will break up all the nicotine and it will get into the blood stream and cause heart failure. how true is this and is there anyone out there that smokes and uses this method. I really want to start using HP inhalation cause of my congestion and shortness of breath but i am concerned about the side effects of smoking.

Brett,
I personally think your being to precautious and my advice would be to stop worrying about the pros & cons and weigh up the benefits first.
What have you got to lose ? Only your existance, life's not for everyone - haha. Joking aside, I wouldn't bother about the effects of the smoking scenario, since you can decide how much inhalation of H202 you take at the beginning, to help gain benefit from this course. People tend to forget IT'S ONLY WATER with the odd atom, thus giving a booster as a topic of interest to all and sundry. It's better described as an INTERNAL LOURDES pilgrim's journey!
Let me know what transpires after your campaign for better health.
Many Thanks

Have a QUESTION... If doing the inhaling with 3% hydogen peroxide I notice a white thick film developing on my tongue. Easy to spit out but is that normal. Also I am using food grade hydogen peroxide diluted to 3% by using 40ml of the 35% and adding diluted water to make up 500ml. How safe is that?

Posted by Jong (Santa Clara, Ca) on 07/17/2012
40ml of HP has 14ml of pure H2O2. Adding 500 ml of pure water makes 14 / 540 = 2.6%
So you are using slightly lower % than the usual 3%.

Sounds like your husband has Community Pneumonia (formerly known as Walking Pneumonia). Have him checked out with his doctor. (blood test, x-ray as well as stethoscope lung sound screening will be performed)
If it goes untreated for too long (6 months), it can infect the heart and trigger heart failure and/or heart attack. (that's what happened to me - the latter)

I try to learn about natural health remedies because I teach a Health Class. I was an asthma sufferer as a child and seasonally as an adult. The main onset of my asthma would be exercise or weather. I participated in a nutrition class that eliminated certain foods from my diet (sugar, dairy, red meat/port, artificial flavors, sodas, fried foods) and noticed that during my training I did not have a need for my inhaler. Please try eliminating certain foods from your child's diet and making dairy the first. Many people are suffering from this disease and its all because of a food allergy. Also my daughter was diagnosed with eczema and I eliminated dairy from her diet VOILA!!! No more eczema. Please find a natural alternative for your child first! Allergies doesn't necessarily mean a skin rash or severe reaction. God Bless!

You might want to try a gluten-free diet for him for a couple months. I used to use inhalers and such (with 'severe asthma' and 'severe allergies' and 'severe acid reflux') even when they really helped, I'd still be coughing and obviously, in need of them as well. When I dropped gluten from my diet for awhile (by accident sort of), all of that just vanished. Since then I've heard the same report from hundreds of people in online areas I hang out in, as well as from friends and family. It's possibly the most undiagnosed "intolerance" there is. - PJ

John, I had a similar reaction when I started this in October of 08. I have been battling Histoplasmosis for 7 years. My first reaction was to stop but I actually had tried everything else . I believe I read somewhere that the HPO can cause a die off ( in other words it is killing off infection, bacteria, fungus etc.) I added plenty of water and also the ACV and baking soda mixture as stated. I haven't tried the borax as of yet but I am I just have been reluctant. I can tell you this... It worked wonders for me... I also cut back a little bit on the HPO until I was feeling better. Dear Anonymous,
We can't be of any assistance unless you provide more information.
** safety **
May I suggest that others be more careful about the strength of peroxide they are using. For healing I drank about 3 or 4 cups of 0.00075% strength peroxide (5 dops of 3% strength peroxide in 1L).
I haven't tried this "peroxide inhalation therapy" yet so can't say anything authorative, but for myself I would :
* check the quality of the spray. Is the mist super fine?. How much does it dispense in one spray? (spray into a teaspoon).
* ask myself - how do I know I'm not taking too much? different sprays will meter out different dosages.
* ask myself - how do I know that this conectration isn't too much for my body to handle. Start small and work up!
* do not start with anything above 0.05% strength (yes, less than half a percent).
If you can't work out how much to dilute it then please don't even try, this isn't for you.

Hello, my dog, a Jack Russell Terrier, has just been diagnosed with emphysema, and also has tracheal collapse, which could likely be the cause of the emphysema.
I have been doing tons of research on the benefits of food grade diluted hydrogen peroxide for emphysema and other lung diseases & other health problems. I have found two ways of inhaling H2O2, either by vaporizer or using a fine mist nasal spray and spraying the mist to the back of the throat while inhaling as discussed in this article.
I have read the first vaporizer approach is ok for dogs, using a ratio of diluting 1oz of 35% food grade H2O2 with 1 gallon of distilled water.
http://examiner.com/alternative-pet-health-in-salt-lake-city/help-for-pulmonary-emphysema
However my question is do you think this approach using the nasal spray fine mist into the throat while breathing is safe for my dog? I'm pleased there are countless human testimonies that have benefited tremendously from it, but I haven't read anything about dogs. My dog currently has labored breathing and it really pains me to see her this way. I know the prognosis is not good, especially considering she is 14, but I really just want to make her breathing more comfortable for the rest of her life.
So any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
P. S. she has reacted pretty well to a shot of cortisone steroid which seemed to boost her energy, appetite and help a little with the labored breathing, but it will only last about 3 weeks and I'm also hoping to find something healthier to help her as there are side effects to the steroid. Please help thank you.

Hello Chris, The vaporiser near your pups sleeping area at night will be the best way to help.
As for inhaling, reduce from 3% to 1% and insert tip of pump sprayer into side of mouth towards the back- you may wish to hold the lower jaw down a bit so you avoid the tongue.
A couple of drops in drinking water will also help. 2 drops of 3% per liter of water.
Hope this info helps, good luck :)

But spray pump works great also so its up to you how you want to use it.

But you had to start with 1 drop in that amount of water and daily add a drop until you reach the maximum. I'm not sure about that 30 drops so if you search around the site I think you will come up with the right number.

Bill, I am surprised you can't find nasal spray bottles in your local pharmacy. There are at least 10 choices at every grocery store and drugstore that I visit! Don't look for an empty one, you need to buy a saline or chemical solution for sinus and allergies and then empty the contents and sterilize it once you get home. Look for a nasal spray that uses a fine pump mist (printed on the bottle). Check the sinus and allergy section of any grocery store and I promise you will find a good number of choices. The bottle will cost anywhere from $4-$7. Remember to sterilize the bottle after you dump the contents with very hot water and soap, then fill it with your 3%.

Hi,i used the e-bay link provided by Jay for the Nasal Spray bottles. It took a total of sixteen days to come from China and all are working perfectly. Hope this helps as in UK most are sealed. Regards to all, Tom
Where to Find Nasal Pumps

In England you can get small empty clear plastic fine sprays for around £1 from a high street chemist - and as we are not allowed to advertise, im sure you will recognise this B--TS
I have one in the bathroom to spray my mouth after cleaning my teeth, one in the bedroom for inhallation early morning and one in the kitchen for during the day........
btw, I use 3% as mouthwash, i find it fizzes up in the mouth, so rinse with water after - does anyone else find this?

Anonymous, I too am interested in this for the sake of treating HPV. A few questions for you.
1) Did you actually have the warts, or were you just diagnosed with that strain? If so, how did the warts react as you proceeded with the treatment.
2) You said that you ingested H2O2 with water as well. With what frequency did you do this? Was your capful in 20 oz. taken daily, weekly, etc.?

How many pumps of the spray did you do each day and did you drink the h202 1 hour before meals etc?

......i have the same, it might be due to the extra oxygen making you feel more energised............it does have that affect but i expect you get used to it and get back to a normal pattern of sleep eventually, i know id rather be a bit sleepless for a while than have that awful virus again...........good luck with your inhalling for tonsilitus..........im sure it will work for you J

This occurs when there is alot of dead virus, bacteria or dead parasites. The amino acid, L-Ornithine (500 mg) 2 capsules before bed will help. I read thins in Dr. Hulda Clark's books

ive had 3 lots of antibiotics, steriods for a bronchial virus which has me coughin all day and night for over 2 months so my ribs feel like ive been run over by a steam roller, 2 days ago i began inhaling h202 3% every 2 hrs day and night and havent seen any results so far but i notice bill says it could take a couple of weeks so im hopeful. Ive never smoked nor had any bronchial problems, only once before in l982 a mild bronchitis, so im not prone to these things - there seems to be many viruses going around england at present. Heres hoping this hydrogen peroxide works cos the drs sure arent helping! has anyone else had a virus so long and has h202 cured it> be interested to hear please?

Well after my last post, the virus i had for over 2 months went in a week, i inhaled every two hours when awake, though couldnt sleep much and got worse after a couple of days, then gradually the symptoms went, i still have a slight soreness in the top of my chest but thats all, im so grateful to thie h202 and the info on this site - the acv has brought down my bp and cured my gerd and oil pulling has massively improved my stiff joints
Im very happy and impressed with these more natural ways of treatment - still a little concerned about taking bicarb with the acv because of the possibility of it increasing bp..........has anyone answered that question yet? I noticed someone else asked about it.......J

hi - i just wanted to ask if you have ever tried the sea salt and water remedy? you add sea salt (i think 1 teaspoon per cup of water - you can look up the exact measurement on-line - i just do it by feel) and hold one nostril and snort the water mix into your sinuses and it will come out your mouth. do this several times with both nostrils. they sell neti pots for this at health food stores - or you can use a baby ear cleaning bulb syringe - but i always just use a bowl. this should clean all the crud out of your sinuses so that good bacteria can be there instead of the bad. i've also heard that people had luck adding baking soda or apple cider vinegar to the mixture.
also garlic minced and a few drops of water added (take the clear liquid) and snort it works to heal sinus infections - but it does hurt for a moment. the sea salt mixture does not hurt.

Hi Keri, you need to go read Bill's instructions, but yes, you spray the H202 toward the back of your throat as you inhale - the same as with asthma inhalants.

Spraying H202 into the lungs will certainly help with relief of congestion but for sinus problems it is probably better to use 3 percent H202 broken down 50percent with water and ,using a nose dropper introduce 4/5 drops directly into each nostril.Do this by laying on a couch or bed with your head hanging over the side. It will sting somewhat (no use lying )but will be worth it in the long run.Depending on the severity of the blockage do this twice daily for 2 days once daily for 3 days. Of course back off or stop if you get full relief at an earlier stage.Best of good luck and happy New Year

I am an exsmoker (quit about 44 years ago) and experienced no problem with inhalation of H202.
EC: We called Bill Munro a couple of days ago to ask if he had ever heard of this. He said no one has ever contacted him in the past 13 years reporting side effects from 3% hydrogen peroxide inhalation. If there are side effects, he says, they must be mixing it with something else like colloidal silver. From his research prior to discovering the h202 inhalation method, Bill discovered that colloidal silver was never stable enough to inhale.

★☆☆☆☆WARNING!
I totally agree. I tried inhaling colloidal silver several times for asthma relief and each time was a nightmare. The last time was particularly scary because it brought on the worst asthma attack I have ever had... Infact I almost passed out due to lack of oxygen. Although colloidal silver is a great anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral great caution should be used if you decide to inhale it.

In my opinion, colloidal silver is toxic. Our bodies were never meant to have one mineral consumed in such huge quantities. Just like iodine, or any other mineral, if you use a single mineral in such large quantities, then you can expect to get sick eventually. It's always better to get your minerals from a food source in a balanced, complete form. Kelp is a much better way to gain health and keep it, and what's great about kelp is that it will never overdose you or allow you to get out of balance. It will always improve your health and never take away from it. When you take any mineral as a single source, the body has no choice but to absorb it, throwing it out of balance. When you get your minerals from a food source, then you receive all your minerals in a safe form that will allow your body to pick and choose which minerals it needs to absorb them easily. If your body is at a saturation point in a particular mineral then the body will just let that particular mineral go through the body easily. When you force your body to absorb and absorb and absorb a particular mineral then the body eventually will get out of wack and you will be sick, guaranteed.
I suggest you try kelp and another great source of minerals without the iodine is Redstar flake yeast. Both of these sources are amazing and will only add to your health, and never take away from it. Laminaria digitata is an excellent form of kelp that I take daily and you can take a cup a day, even more and never get an overdose. I always buy in bulk as it saves a lot of money and then I never worry about using the product. Good luck. Sue

I'm 39 yrs old, I'm a smoker for approx 20 yrs... Ive recently slowed to 1/2 a pk a day. Ive been having a slight shortness of breath for a couple of weeks.... I broke and dislocated my ankle in 1998, ever since then I've had a problem with water retention. Lately even with elevation and Apple Cider Vinegar (2 tsp in 16ozs of water) the swelling never goes down. I have a history of low blood pressure so I can't really take water pills. I recently became more short of breath (yesterday) went to the ER and was discharged with bronchitis, I was prescribed the Z pack antibiotics, alupent inhaler and 20gm of prednisone.... I took the Z pack, I couldn't afford the alupent and I I heard horror stories of prednisone.
I'm reading these different post and really considering the HP therapy but am afraid.. My bottle says nothing about "food grade formula"... It does say 3%, USP, inactive ingredient is purified water and also states it assist in the removal of phlegm, mucus or other secretions associated with sore mouth. I don't know if that is the right kind of HP I should be using in a nebulizer. I would feel better trying kelp as you have suggested... How do I buy it? in pill form? liquid form? how is it taken? how often? How soon will I feel a difference? any side effects? thanks

Hi--
I'm sorry to hear that you are ill and hope that you find something that works for you. If you have not read about Lysine, I would certainly recommend reading into and trying it because it is cheap and effective for viruses. Supposedly, Bronchitis is caused by a viral illness something like 90% of the time, with the remaining 10% made up of bacterial infections. Lysine costs about $6, and though there are varying brands and thus varying levels of effectiveness, I've always found that I have responded no matter the type of brand-- though I do agree with a friend of mine that some brands are better than others (right now I'm favoring the Orange and purple major brand label but there are certainly others that are good. )
What I've found for my viral infections is to follow the 5 gram protocol of a gram of lysine taken with a gram of aspirin once an hour every hour for five hours straight. Then you take a couple grams of lysine twice a day to mop up the remaining crud. I just wrote about this a few days ago so I'm sorry for the double post, but last week my boyfriend started coming down with the symptoms that always preceded coming down with bronchitis. I flooded him with lysine, which at around 25-30 grams in a 24 hour period gave him diarrhea, but he was still happy with having diarrhea for a few days if it didn't mean having bronchitis for weeks to months! Anyway, check it out. Lysine hasn't had any contra-indications for me thus far with my supplements, but as always, do your research. I love lysine best as an anti-viral and find it cheaper than other options (like oil of oregano), less stinky (like garlic), and with no taste (I have a hard time getting coconut oil down. )
Good Luck!

This should be clarified as H202 w/ Colloidal Silver may cause problems w/in the lungs, not just H202

The minute I feel a cold coming on or any kind of sinus problem I lay on one side, put a drop (little bit) in my ear and lay there for a few minutes, longer if lots of crackling. I do the other ear same way and I swear I have not had any head cold or sinus infection in 5 years. I also started using saline nose spray at the end of the night if I have gone out of the house ( grocery store, bingo, senior center, people places). I use it like a stream to cleanse, not just spray and I also gargle with warm salt water same thing at end of night before bed. I read somewhere or heard it that it takes germs 3 days to propagate in your nose or throat so if ya keep them washed away, well so far so good. They also say do not put peroxide in yur ear if you have ever had a ruptured eardrum and also don't irrigate your nose if you already are plugged up.
I have COPD and my breathing is not the best as of late, but not on oxygen yet. Chest seems tighter than usual. Would like to try the peroxide but am a little apprehensive about it because I use Spiriva, Albuterol and sometimes Flovent. Not sure if I should stop the inhalers first or for how long before trying. Also heard when you use vinegar ya want to rinse your mouth well because it eats away at teeth enamel. I also have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis so not sure how any of those things effect bones.

I found using 3% peroxide over the counter from walmart didn't help with my bronchial problem in fact I think it has made it worse. I always get pneumonia for the last 3 years. This year with me doing the home remedies I didn't get it until I had my grandson for a week and he ended up getting it. So immediately I inhaled the peroxide like the post said to do and it made me have a cough attack and my breathing was more constricted. that was 4 weeks ago I did the inhilation 4 times and each time it didn't help I think it made it worse. now I'm still coughing a dry cough like I do after I get pneumonia. Any suggestions? I won't do the inhilation ever again. Every body is different.

re: worse cough, not better? Well, possibly find out what kind of infection the cough is from: mold related, pnemonia or? Nutrients to increase your immune system is so important. Enteric coated Vitamin C helps to improve it, plus B-complex, multi-vitamin, multi-mineral. Also try hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
