Well, i was just wondering if, the Coconut oil! gave anyone problems? Like having to go to the bath room! Things like that. Are there any side effects? Oh! I mix sugar and coconut oil or olive oil and use it in the shower! makes the skin soft while removing your dead skin!

Hi, I've had the opposite reaction to be honest, since taking coconut oil I have been suffering from constipation. Otherwise im quite happy with the coconut oil, It's taking time to work its effect on my skin but I'm being patient and hopeful :-)

The initial constipation comes because your body is eliminating hard metal toxins and toxic stones from liver, gallbladder and pancrease. You could assist your body by eating soft pears to move the bowels easily. Good luck.

I've been taking VCO first thing in the morning (1tsp) and 1 tsp at around 1:30 in the afternoon which followed with some some warm tea. Sometimes when I'm hungry I will just have a 1/4-1/2 tsp of VCO. When I first started this I felt a little sick from it but I believe that this was detoxification process, so I stepped up my steam/sauna time and drank more water and tea. Sometimes I will put some VCO fruit berry smoothie. I've noticed my cravings have vanished, and my consumption of food has gone down. My skin is clear. My energy is up. My eyes are no longer red they are now clear and white. I also started using it as an all over body lotion my cellulite is gone. I use a very, very small amount on my face it is nice, and makes my skin super soft and clear. I've FINALLY lost the stubborn 10 pounds.

I take a 1 tsp to 1/2 tbl of virgin organic coconut oil daily and it has definitely decreased my appetite. From the 1st day forward there was a noticeable difference in how much I ate. And further evidence is if I skip a day, I will snack more that day. It is truly remarkable. I still eat 3 good quality meals a day and exercise 3 times a week, I just don't partake in needless boredom snacking anymore. Plus coconut oil is a good all around beauty/health investment as it works for so many things. Give it a shot...start small (1/8 tsp.) and work up to whatever you are comfortable taking for your body weight. And melt it, don't take it solid...yuck! Good luck, you won't regret trying it...it's a miracle product.

Sounds like a GREAT PLAN! Never believe anything again you read on the internet just believe the media and your doctor, just because you had a bad experience. That does not mean it does not work. You have to balance your calories. If you are over eating beyond your required caloric intake you're going to get fat PERIOD. If you add 300 calories of coconut oil to you diet you going to have to subtract those calories somewhere else. You can't just eat as much as you want of everything and then add 300 calories on top of that and expect to lose weight. Coconut oil does not make you fat but additional calories can.
Also you might have gotten and old or bad batch. The health benefits are worth the additional 300 calories you need to skip the oreo's and the other high caloric things you maybe eating. Basic nutritional common sense, that most people in this country don't have. Hence why we are the fattest country in the world.
Also separate your meals in to 5-6 small meals not 1-3 big ones. You will speed up you metabolism and lose weight doing that alone.

I have been taking organic coconut oil for about 8 weeks now. I have high blood pressure and take medication and my blood pressure is the best that it has been in years right now! I have been taking 2-3 tablespoons a day of the coconut oil in my coffee in the mornings. I have been reading that you really have to watch your carbohydrate intake in order to lose weight with the coconut oil. I have not seen weight loss yet, but I am still adjusting my carbs and calorie intake. I tried some of the coconut oil supplements at first and started gaining weight. I then read that there is not enough of the oil in the supplements to really help. I then switched to coconut oil that I bought in the grocery store, but when I started buying coconut oil from a health food store is when I really noticed a difference. I also use coconut oil on my skin and it is wonderful! I feel much better and no longer ache in the mornings when I get up. I have a lot more energy and have been able to go back to the gym to exercise. The type of coconut oil that you purchase, the dosage, and your diet all seem to effect the results of taking the coconut oil internally.

Just a piece of info for those that are not losing weight. Check the product labels on the food you eat and the drinks you consume for High Fructose Corn Syrup. Do some research on the effect that this has on your body and metabolism. Dr Mercola and other sites give a good explanation of what biological processes are changed by this chemical. Hope this helps someone.

Where on here do you see anything about anyone taking tablets or pills? You're not doing what the others are doing so you are not getting results. Your coconut oil is made to sell but not to buy, meaning it's another weight loss pill hype. Do it the right way and use unprocessed VCO in a jar.
