Honey has healing properties. Using local honey from where you live should relieve your allergies. I live in a polluted place and recently tried the local farm honey. To my surprise, I have stopped coughing and my sinus has been healed. I can breathe better. In addition, dates and walnuts are a better source of fiber and iron.

It was recently suggested to me that I try the "Honey Therapy" for my severe allergies. Honey therapy being- RAW honey that is made locally with local bees. That being bees that take pollen from the same sources that I am apprently allergic too. I started this and two days later noticed a difference. While getting a SEVERE allergy attack, the same person suggested adding ACV apple cider vinegar to the honey. I mixed 3 oz. acv and 3 oz raw honey. Hard to drink, but then realized adding a bit of spring water helped the taste. I instaly got relief from my allergy symptoms, it lasts aobut 12 hours and then I repeat. Only drinking about 3 oz of the mix at a time. I am going to continue with this therapy and try some of the ACV/Honey/Baking soda mixtures for my acne and see how they work. I will repost to let everybody know how that and the acv/honey taken internally is working. Good luck to everybody. Am now a FIRM believer that God gave us what we need to cure what ailes us.

I have struggled with severe allergies over the last three years. I don't use pharmaceuticals so it's been trial and errror with numerous products for the last few years. Mostly, it's been error. I've tried the vinegar in the past, but did not see any improvemnt. This time I stuck with it. And thankfully I was given a very wise piece of advice from an old book. Chewing on honeycomb! It enabled me to go outside without my eyes swelling shut or sneezing. I would just chew the honeycomb as needed. It seemed to keep my symptoms at bay until the vinagar started working. After about a month of chewing I don't need it anymore and I'm allergy free. I still drink the vinegar every morning (taking two days off a week), to keep my allergies from coming back.

Note, chew the honeycomb for 10-15 minutes then spit out, and get another piece if needed.

I have faced chronic allergic rinitis since more than 50 years now. Nothing worked (including 3 operations and plenty money wasted on all kind of especialized doctors, until I gave up and learned to live with the problem. In yr site I found out abt H2O2. Curious enough decided to try my own drugstore formula reduced at 1% (2:1) in clear water. I started spraying twice every nostril, four times a day. At day #5 I started to shrow a mix o blood and yelloish mucus from my nose at morning time only (once). Quite an amount every day I must add. I was at first scared, yet decided to continue. It was the same cleaning routine (expelling out)for 7 days straight, then my nose came up with clean, clear mucus. No more yellowish or bloody outputs. I infer I have cleaed my sinuses completely from a fungus or bacteria that have been infecting me for decades. I have kept doing the spraying, but in leeseer frequency. I do carry my sprayer with me all day now and I think I will not stop from using it from here on. I beleive it will keep me from getting sick again, no more flu, virus, rinitis, etc. I wake up now breathing freely, something I never thought possible. My snoring have been reduced or eliminated, and the only mucus I have know is clear like water. Still must keep claning my nostrils several times a day, but not as before and its clear. I thing if doctors are keeping this simple solution from us, they are all crooks. And I know how much money I have expent on all kind of expensive treatments, Xrays, poisons, etc. If I am doing something that may harm me, please let me know, but so far so good. I will keep going.

PS/ You may edit my poor English if you want to publish my experience.

To Ted: My Ragweed Allergy can get pretty ugly. completely stuffed up nose at night, post nasal drip, scratchy throat, uncontrolled sneezing and general feeling of being run down. H2O2 was giving me bloating, when drinking it in water. This time I bought a nasal pump. Put 3% HP (h2o2) in it, and pumped it in my mouth. To my surprise, the post nasal drip stopped almost immediately and the sneezing stopped. I carried my nasal pump to work, and did the same, as soon as I found, a big sneeze is on its way. And it worked almost every time. So the oxidative therapy of HP is working far better than all the Vitamin C, Vitamin E, NAC, Zinc, b-complex I was taking in hopes of combating the allergies. I am really thankful to you, cause had you not written posiitve things abt HP, I would have had no courage to try HP. You motivated me. Although I tried Bill Munro's method and I am also going to thank him personally.

Please note: spraying HP in nostrils is really irritating. But spraying it insides of the mouth/ under the tongue, can literally stop and allergy attack. ( It has at least in my case). With allergy symptoms under control, I feel I have more energy and need less sleep, get less tired. Apart from spraying, I am also taking like 2 drops of 35% HP in a glass of water in the morning. I really wanna kill all the bugs out there. I am really impressed... thankyou.

Hi Bill: I am really glad I talked to you that day and tried HP inhalation. It has brought my Ragweed Allergy so much under control. I just pumped HP 4-5 times in my mouth and it literally stopped the sneezing and post nasal drip. You are my inspiration. Now I think I can say something is WORKING against my allergies, when even the famous Vitamin C did not work. thankyou. God bless you and your family.

I haven't seen much on this but lemon juice can stop an allergy attack in its tracks... Almost instantly. Depending on the severity of the attack and how long you have allowed it to go, you may have to take two or three shots of lemon juice. That's how we do it. My husband has severe allergy attacks and most allergy meds doesn't even help him. If I hear him sneezing and blowing his nose I run and grab the lemon juice, he takes a big swig from the bottle and the attack will usually stop, sometimes if it's a bad one he will have to take a second swig. This has worked great for our family.

I developed allergies post menopausal, I got sensitive simply to any minimal changes in my vitamins. It all got started by hives due taking Collagen supplements. (It could be anything ) It made me highly sensitive to even brand change of the same ..vitamins/supplements. I had severe hives and deep itching untractable. Nothing was helping the itch, I couldn't even sleep, scratching thru the night. My MD has put me on Prednisone 2 week complete treatments for about 3 to 4 x a year for more than 2 years. I never had allergies before.

Then I found Magnesium. I see that many are already taking Mg but its the kind with Calcium. Magnesium is the mineral that could lessen the body's sensitivity to allergens (substances that could stimulate immune protective body response such as hives, rashes, asthma, excema etc.). We need to maintain enough Mg in the blood, muscles and brain. It takes 6 months to a year to build up enough Mg to correct deficiency. It takes time to build cause we also use it up everyday. Once Mg is enough in the system you will notice these allergies will subside. There is a Book on Mg called the Magnesium Miracle, also another on Transdermal Mg. It complements each other. To speed building up Mg in the system, I had to use both oral and transdermal forms. Oral being Mg Glycinate 3 caps a day (400 mg Elemental Mg) and also Mg Oil rub to the body as often as you could do it. Please google Mg Deficiency / Allergies. Patience is needed as it will take time, but it will work. Currently, I have no further allergies to anything, I am back to my old self. Thanks to Mg. In time

It is important to maintain the dosage everyday till you feel the change.. you will have stronger immunity. I am taking Mg supplements everyday. It helps in all aspects of life. In memory, lessens stress, helps in sleep, relieves fear of the unknown, depression, tremors, migraines and hundreds more.

YEA - I have been taking 1000mg MSM each evening to help with hair loss due to low thyroid, but am simply AMAZED at it's efficiency to eliminate seasonal allergy symptoms like runny nose, congestion, itchy eyes, coughing, etc.

If I take it in the AM, I do feel tired through the day, but taking it in the evening aids in sleeping through the night, and eliminates allergy symptons. Who knew?

I have had seasonal allergies for the past 6-7 years. Earlier this year I read about how MSM can alleviate the symptoms of seasonal allergies, so I decided to give it a try. The allergy season was just starting and I could feel my eyes getting a bit itchy. I started taking 1000 mg of MSM and within 1 hour I was feeling better. It works as well as any OTC allergy medicine with out the negative health effects. As a matter of fact it is supposed to have beneficial health effects. I now take 1000 mg of MSM twice per day and have not had any more symptoms of allergies. I love this stuff.

I have finally managed to control my allergies. After years of suffering with itchy eyes and throat and some of those years sneezing a lot it finally seems to be over. I never had hay fever because I had it the whole year. It was just like an unwanted friend I couldn't get rid of! Last year because of a disease the plane trees near our house had I got even worse.

This is not a recipe for anybody because all allergies are different but it might just give people a few ideas. Right now I am taking 4g Vit. C a day, 800IU of Vit. E, 150mg of Hyaluronic Acid and Fish oil. I have the idea that although I was quite a bit better with all this the big change came when I added a drink of blueberries, MSM, Condroitin and Glucosamin but I don't know.... Could it just have been because I had been taking the rest for a longer period of time? MSM in powder form didn't seem to change anything. I also try to drink a lot of water, took Beers Yeast for awhile, just to be on the safe side I am taking local pollens every morning as well as using unpasteurized local honey in my tea and taking Propolis. Quite a treatment but the bottom line is that I have been feeling fine and I have more energy. I also manage to sleep better most nights!

I have been on allergy medicine for as long as I can remember. I am 36 years old, and after my 2nd pregnancy, it was like nothing was working! I tried prescription strength allergy medication, which felt like it was working for about a week. Every afternoon; and I mean literally every single afternoon, I would feel sick, headaches, neck and shoulders always stiff, tired, struggling to make it through the rest of my day. By 7pm I would be exhausted. I like to work out and still need to lose some baby weight, but I couldn't even attempt it due to my extreme lack of energy. I could barely get through the day with my 4 year old and 16 month old!!!

Completely frustrated, I googled natural cures and found this website. I oil pull with sesame oil every morning, drink water w/ 2 tsp's of ACV & 1 tsp of BSM twice a day, and take cayenne pepper or chew and swallow a garlic clove as needed. Finding this website was an answer to prayer!!! I have even, steady energy throughout the day, have been off of any kind of allergy med's for 3 weeks now ( unheard of for me!! ) am able to get off my birth control pill, which I took because my periods started being SO debilitating, and can take care of my kids, do hair, which is what I do for work, and work out in a day, and feel APPROPRIATELY tired at the end of it! These things work, I will never again depend on traditional medicine, unless it is absolutely necessary, all it did was make me sicker and sicker!!

I praise God for this website, and I have since shared it with several people who were in similar situations, struggling with something that the Dr's prescriptions just weren't fixing, and they are also having great success!! I also am not having severe flour and sugar cravings, and I can see my body finally starting to change shape, just after 2 weeks of working out! This stuff is sooo simple, cheap and easy to do, and completely worth the benefits! I have never felt so good!

Allergies: If you wake up with a heavy head and bad throat which usually causes body ache, try this,

step 1. take hot water mixed with salt, baking soda, lemon juice gargle, clean, wash your toungue, throat, upper part of inside of your mouth, it will make you want to throw up almost, eyes will be so red, but you feel relieved so much, this is cleansing the mouth.

Step 2. put some oil inside your both nostrils almond oil or may be olive oil (we in Southern India use coconut oil) you have to use your fingers as much deep you can reach to do this, then take hot water in a plastic mug which is pointed on one side (or if you can find NETI POT wich is shaped like Alladin's lamp use it) put the hot water inside of one nostril after another tilting your head and drain it out, you will find all the dirt - mucus come out at once, (some water may come into your mouth or through another nose), this you can do two times a day, this is keeping your drainage clean. you will find great relief in your head, eyes, even in shoulders, if the allergy cold is so severe.

Step 3. Take hot boiling steaming water into a wide mouthed vessel, add Vicks or drops of eucalyptus oil (Nilgiri oil) into it, bend your face into it, cover your head surrounding the vessel with a thick towel, inhale the steam as much heat you can take, your forehead, eyes, ear start to feel so much better, this is steam therapy.

I had been to a doctor, who is not able to diagnose my allergy sinus cold properly, instead when he is asking me questions like 'are you feeling depressed' I felt he needs to be sent to a therapy session on how to treat his patients well and listen carefully what they say.

I have had allergies for years. I developed allergies at the age of 28 and had suffered with them for a long time. Two years ago I brought a book called alterna-tive cures that I have been using for two years now to solve a few of my ailments. In reading the book for allergies NAC (n-acetylcysteine) was suggested for allergies. And it works, because right now the trees are blossoming and flowers as well and this is generally the worst time of year for me, because I suffer with allergies something awful. I have not had a problem with itchy eyes, sneezing, sore scratchy throat and tickling of the throat. I use the recommended dosage that is suggested in the book, but I can't remember what it is. Again, I have been using NAC two years and it has worked well for me.
