I suffer from severe seasonal allergies/rhinitis. I've been to the doctor and have taken numerous meds and tried different nose sprays. I gave up on them and tried the ACV and water tonic, drinking it 3 times a day. I have never felt better. Very little sneezing, no achy sinuses, no more sore throat and more energy! I was so skeptical of this stuff and the taste is definitely not my favorite. However, I feel better than I did when taking what the doctor prescribed. It sounded too good to be true, but in this case, it's wonderful and IT WORKS! Thank you Earth Clinic for your wealth of knowledge on a simple household product.

I have been using 1 Tblspn ACV in 4 oz water (no honey) for over 2 years now, and I haven't had to take any allergy medications,my hot flashes eased within days, and my skin does not look like that of a 50 year old woman who literally baked in the sun her entire life (smooth and no wrinkles) :)

I was referred to this site by a friend of mine and was amazed at all of the benefits ACV has. I suffer from chronic allergies/sinus infections. It has only been 24 hrs and I CAN BREATHE!! I had problems breathing out of my left nostril and my left side of my face always has sinus pain...it has completely opened up. I cannot wait to see other health benefits including some weight loss. It has suppressed my appetite today! :)

I am 21 and have been taking ACV for about a month now and I have noticed a increase in energy especially after I take it. Most of all it made my allergies and fluid build up (around throat and sinus) almost disapper. I swig oragnic pure ACV (with mother) strait from the bottle. I try to ingest only a tablespoon each time. Then rinse my mouth with water (to protect teeth) then drink a big glass of water. I try to do it twice daily. My bother asked my if I had any cough drops when he was at my house not long ago and I said no but you can try some of this ACV. He tryed a little swig and he said it instanly took his sore thoat away. It makes your senses almost come alive, it's the real deal.

Thank you Elizabeth for posting on 10/08/06!! I have such bad congestion in the Fall that I cannot function without lots of medicine for several days just to go to one 4-hour social event, and then I have to be off of them for several days just to rehydrate and get some sleep. Most of the time I feel like a zombie and have chosen to stay home with the kids because I just could not function like every one else could. Reading Elizabeth's comments really hit home with me! I immediately went out to get cayenne pepper and felt unbelievably better. That night I also downed some ACV and could not believe how good I felt. It's been 2 days now and I can actually function somewhat and my eyes aren't nearly so swollen. I've also started taking lactobacillus probiotics and a quercetin Ester-C Bromelain complex. I also got some L-Theanine to help me sleep (I think the cayenne and ACV are keeping me up at night). I could not tolerate the taste of drinking down straight cayenne and water again, so I got some Wal-Mart supplements and they kind of burn a little going down, but that quickly goes away. I don't seem to get the immediate runny nose like if I sprinkle the cayenne on food (which I do), but I still think there are real benefits. The ACV and baking soda in a shot glass or bathroom cup was tolerable (poured it down my throat trying to avoid teeth) but I still felt like there was so much acid on my back teeth that I went out and got supplements. I tend to be super dehyrated from antihistamines, and I think excess salt in the baking soda might really bother me. After reading Ted's comments though, I wonder if I should add some baking soda and water to my diet every day. I guess I'll see how it goes. I plan on also trying tumeric, olive leaf and bee propolus also. I feel sooo much better! I had experimented with OTC and prescription drugs for 14 years, used a dehumidifier for 7 years (too dehydrating), eliminated junk foods and soda, took megadoses of antioxidant vitamins, exercised, and tried to be so healthy mentally and physically...nothing has helped like the supplements and advice I have discovered on this website. I've been thanking God all day!!! Love, Love, Love this website! I will try oil-pulling soon. Thank you so much!

I have had horrible sinus problems for almost a year. My doctor deeps prescribing different allergy medicines. No matter which one, the side effects were much worse than having a constantly clogged nose. Don't we all need to be alert? I have been hearing about ACV from some of my "natural" friends and family and thought nothing of it until I found this website. I started doing "shots" of ACV 2 days ago and already noticed a big difference! If you mix that with water - there's just more of it to drink - plus when you're really really clogged you can't taste much of it anyway. The natural tastes better!

YIKES! I was plagued with clogged sinuses, feeling flu-like, underwater and everything in slow-mo anytime I was in cold air for the past 20 years.
As time went by I realized more and more I was plagued with this "condition". Over the counter stuff and 1/2 a vicodin worked to an extent but I was after the core of the problem, not a bandaid.
Over time I was told the mucous was caused as a reaction to the cold air and for "some reason" my sinuses didn't drain and would remain in the mucous remained in the cavities causing this living, miserable HELL!
It took days and weeks for it to drain. I'd get clear headed probably for a few days and it would start all over again. In the winter it was continual for months.
This is also depressing because any physical activity, like going to the gym, sweating while the air conditioner was blasting was not fun...every physcial activity where there was cold air had a price. L.A. is not the tropics and we get cold air many months of the year, not counting public places, from churches to clubs where there is forced cold air.
I went to an allergist, had the tests done and finally he said you have an aversion to cold air! Duh! He told me to keep warm, etc. GEESH! Well, when I started to really take responsibility for my health and much focused prayer - I found this site. I can't tell you how amazed (putting it very mildly) I am about the ACV. I haven't even purchased the organic, unfiltered stuff yet, just a gallon of ACV one buys at the restaurant supply I had around the house.
'PRAISE GOD, it works...IMMEDIATELY> My sinuses drain EVERYDAY and now that fall weather is here I'm still OK. The next few weeks and months will be the test and I'll update this.
I also have inhaled the peroxide and this also has helped, including the ear insufflations.
I'm noticing lately with the peroxide insufflations that I can now feel it actually flowing through the sinus cavity which I didn't at first and I also have slight ear pain. I am figuring this is "die off" since the sinuses are draining and my head has been continually clear.
This is not a solicited or marketing gimmick, this is a blessed community of wonderful folks who get together and share their struggles and victories with each other.
Blessings to each and every one of you!

I am writing to tell everyone with allergies to try the ACV cure. My husband suffered allergies so bad over the past several years that he would get non-stop sinus infections and dizziness that would eventually require steroid shots-EVERY YEAR-to get any relief. Well...this year I was looking up natural remedies and found the ACV one. I initially gave him 1/4c (found on another site) and he had immediate relief within 5 minutes. Afterwards I found this site and took it down to 2tbsp,(happier man), 3xday for 2days then 2tbs daily for another day or two. He has had to repeat the 2tbsp a day twice since the start of May,now Sept. Nothing needed since. We used an unfiltered Organic brand of ACV. I've read that ACV is a natural antihistamine (with no drowsy side effect, how great is that?)Now if only I could get my children to take some.. Hope this helps anyone who's desperate to get allergy relief.

I have a friend who suggested taking about 1/4 cup organic grape juice with 2 capfuls of Organic Apple Cider to help with seasonal allergies. It tastes better than water and we knock it back fast- no sipping, because it's strong!! It really really seems to help stop the runny nose, itchy eyes, etc. that we usually suffer from each spring and fall. I'm a believer!

I have terrible allergies, and knowing this, I started on Allegra at the first sign this spring, but thta did not help my itchy, watery eyes. I heard about Apple Cider Vinegar from my cousin, so decided to give it a try . . within 2 hours, I could actually put make-up on, and keep it on! Now,I drink 1 Tblspn to 1/2 C water twice a day, and no allergies!! Whoohoo, another natural cure the doctors don't/won't tell you about.

FYI, I'm having great results with ACV for my severe allergies - the first relief I've had in days. THANKS! And one easy way to ingest it is on a healthy salad. I mix ACV with grapeseed oil or EVOO (and sometimes a little honey) and pour it over salad greens. Its tasty - doesn't feel like 'medicine' - a healthy meal - AND curing my allergies! I'm also going to try some Molasses remedies and HP remedies...
I'm also surprised no one has mentioned active-culture yogurt as a remedy..

Apple Cider Vinegar. Today May 21, 2007 I decided to try ACV to relieve my allergies and what I thought was a cold or flu. I have had the flu for over 4 weeks but it turns out it is a combination of allergies and a slight cold. I have taken allergy pills one every 24 hours for the last 8 days and it works for awhile but then my nose starts running again and the mucous seems to be getting heavier. I took three glasses of apple juice with 2 tablespoons of ACV in each every 5 hours and now at 8:30 pm I feel like a new person with no runny or blocked up nose and now I am going to continue on this same regimen and try and lose 42 lbs and keep it off!! I will check back with you from time to time and let you know how I am doing. By the way, I am a 63 year old male.

Results of use of ACV: I began to take it after suffering some bouts with acid reflux, I have yet to have another bout since taking it months ago. I was also experiencing problems with allergies such as congestion and runny nose. All of the symptoms are gone. For the pas three years my blood pressure readings had been high like 158/94. My last very recent physical almost floored my physician when it read 128/68. I am convinced.

I've been taking apple cider vinegar for a few months now. It's been the best thing I've tried for allergies. I was getting really sick with allergies and frequent sinus infections. On one occasion I went to the doctor and he prescribed some antibiotics for a sinus infection I had, which did not clear up after I finished the prescription. I was very skeptical about the apple cider vinegar at first, yet desperate to try anything. Spring time of course was always the worst. Since I've been taking ACV my allergies have been under control. Spring time is here with it's high winds and they're still under control. I can go outside and work on the yard or go jogging and my allergies are still under control. I love this stuff. I've been taking two tablespoons three times a day with 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in 8 oz. of water. Sometimes I'll only take it twice a day, but my allergies are still under control. I want to thank earthclinic.com for having this website and posting this remedy.
