I love my ACV. I started using it for my menstrual migraines which were usually twice a month- very short episodes of aura followed by a couple hour long medium sized headache. Occasionally, I would get a real bad one, or one from the weather. About two months ago, they had evolved to week long episodes of migraines with aura. Anyway, I saw the ACV cure, and started taking the ACV every day, and if I felt one coming on. I just keep mine cold, and take a couple of spoonfuls of it when I need to. I like the taste, so, straight works fine for me.

Anyway, I had a gall bladder attack a couple weeks ago, and took a couple spoons. Ten minutes, pain gone. Then I had a really gassy day- took a couple spoons- gas gone in ten minutes. I'm loving it, right?

Well, today I went to Subway and got a Spicy Italian sub. Ate it at 2, and by 6 I'm suffering from a case of screaming runs. Stomach was cramping, bloated with gas, nausea but no vomiting. I'm miserable. Thank god for phone games is all I have to say. I sat there for about an hour. Anyway, I decide to take some ACV. Two spoonfuls, the runs slowed then stopped. Couple hours later, I'm still feeling bloated and gassy so I take two more- now my belly no longer feels swollen like it's gonna pop and the gas and cramps are gone. This is the second time I have gotten sick from Subway- first time was about six years ago, and it was ten times as bad as this. Anyway, not the point. There is lots of conflicting info about the ACV- but all I can tell you is that

1) Migraines are significantly reduced- and one started the other day and I took some ACV and it aborted.

2) Worked for the gallbladder attack.

3) Worked for gas and food poisoning. It may not work for everyone, but for me, all I can say is I will never ever ever not have a couple of bottles in the house. Oh- additionally- I have used both the ACV with and without the mother, and have not noticed a difference in what kind I use.

I have been a loyal follower of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) for 15 years or so. It is remarkably effective. I won't be without it at home! Even my once doubting husband became a believer. It's the best natural remedy going. Take 2 tsp in a glass of water (i just pour 2 capfuls). If you can't hold anything down the best way to take it is by the spoonful. Just keep sipping a spoonful every 3-5 minutes, or as often as you can handle, and it will stay down. Very quickly it will take effect. Usually in 30-60 minutes it will stop the vomitting by killing the bacteria, which causes such sickness.

A few days ago, I came down with a mild case of food poisoning- nauseous, sweaty, crampy and bad diarrhea. It had been going on for several days, forcing me to largely sit out my boyfriend's birthday dinner. I experienced no relief from Pepto, and was becoming incredibly dehydrated because of the bad heat wave going on right now.

Eventually, I remembered Earth Clinic (which I first used when looking up natural asthma remedies- go MSM! ). Anyhow, found an overwhelming positive response to ACV, so decided to get some (with the mother). Took 4 tbsp in a big glass of water. Although relief was not immediate, within an hour, the cramps were largely gone. By the next morning, although not 100% still, my symptoms had pretty much subsided- enough for me to eat something for the first time in days. Today I'm sipping on an ACV/water mix, continuing to feel better, and hoping I'll be well enough to maybe hit the pool this weekend after all. Thanks Earth Clinic for this simple, wonderful remedy!

I made some salmon for dinner around 7pm, and it seemed underdone when I was eating it but I didn't care (I was hungry! ). I'm not going to make that mistake again. I woke up at 5:00 with my stomach in a knot and I knew what was going to happen. I first threw up at 6, then felt much better, but about 30 minutes later I started feeling sock again. While I was sitting/laying on the bathroom floor waiting for the inevitable.

I did a quick search and found this site on my phone. I have to say that I was pretty skeptical about Apple Cider Vinegar but when I looked at all the success stories I thought I should give it a shot. I took two swigs from the bottle and thought I was going to vomit, but I didn't. In about 10 minutes I could feel my stomach starting to feel better. It's been 2 hours now and I just took one more swig, for good measure, and I'm slowly eating some wheat toast and sipping water on the couch in confidence. Thank you all for posting, this remedy is truly remarkable.

ACV works great for food poisoning, but it can also be taken with water BEFORE you eat. This will help acid reflux, digestion, and help prevent food poisoning.

I had terrible food poisoning all night and after calling every doctor in town with no chance of getting in anywhere (apparently food poisoning isn't that big of an ailment here! ) I turned to the internet in hopes of finding something I could use that was in my house. I swallowed two undiluted tablespoons of ACV and followed with some water. Almost immediately I felt relieved, but about 10 minutes later I threw it all up (throwing up acid is terrible). I feel better, but it didn't cure me.

Not so, food poisionomg last many days, depending on the strain of bacteria and the physical condition of the sufferer.

The last time I had an upset stomach and couldn't take the nausea anymore, I swallowed a mouthful of organic vinegar and within 15 minutes I didn't feel sick anymore. Hate the taste, love the results.

A miracle! My husband was sooo sick last night after food poisoning. He threw up 5 times and was miserable. I searched the web and found this site. I gave him ACV (which he said tasted horrible) but was immediately (within 15 min) feeling much better and slept through the rest of the night. Thanks! Amazing!

Hi, I just came back from India where I ate whatever I decided. I had TWO food poisoning back to back. The second one gave me a worst ever diarrhea, the first one was bearable. After coming back from the trip I found earth clinic on the net, and gave a try to apple cider vinegar asap. I was cured almost immediately, after drinking a glass of water with half vinegar in it, I never had the symptoms again. Thank you for the help.

Regards, Charlie

I had food poisioning last night it came on emidiatley after I finished my dinner of chicken and swiss chard. I was OK within an hour after sipping a cap full of ACV in a small glass of water. I have been drinking ACV for 2 years now in a cup of warm water with a cap full of ACV, I drink it all day long everyday. Once in the begining I made the mistake of drinking it straight, which burned and gave me heartburn.

To all thoes people who gag at ACV, don't drink it straight have it as a tea even add some lemon and honey it will taste just like lemon tea. I have asked my dentist if my teeth enamel is ok and he always confirms it's ok. I never have plain water after.

My wife came home from work last week with really bad food poisoning--vomiting, unbearable cramping, dizziness. I saw the ACV remedy on this site and it worked in ten minutes!

Anytime I feel the stomach flu coming on or just feeling nauseas I take a shot of Organic ACV in water and whatever was coming on goes away. My husband got food poisoning from a bad turkey and when I felt it coming on I took the vinegar; he got very ill but I only had a minor stomachache. I have no idea if other vinegars will work as I have only used the organic ACV; it only costs about 5.00 for 32 oz. so well worth having it on hand forever.

Editor's Choice

I read somewhere that apple cider vinegar was good for food poisoning. I think it was in a book by Dr. Jarvis. Anyway, one night, after a meal featuring undercooked lamb at an upscale restaurant, I found myself in a painful ordeal in a public toilet not far from that restaurant, and as soon as I knew there was NOTHING left inside of me to come out unexpectedly, despite the fact that I was still cramping and miserable, I had dh drive me home and bring me some vinegar and water in a glass. I asked for half and half, though I don't recall what Dr. Jarvis said about amounts. I sipped teeny tiny sips, one every 2 minutes or so, barely enough to wet my tongue (it was very nasty tasting, lol).

Within fifteen minutes, the awful, endless cramping and dashes to the bathroom stopped. I kept sipping every five minutes or so for another forty five minutes, and was still fine, went peacefully to bed, no more problems that night, no problems the next day... It was all over. Since then I've only had one other opportunity to use ACV on suspected food poisoning, though it was a much milder incident. I felt better within minutes, as before.

Started to feel ill after eating some dodgy pork steaks tonight. Within a few hours I could feel the nausea and cramps starting up. Had a look on here for food poisoning remedies and took some ACV. I can't believe just how fast it worked, three swigs from the bottle chased with some water and within minutes I was back to normal. I think catching it early was a big factor in how quick it worked.

Awoke this morning to find my husband throwing up and diarrhea. Realized right away it was food poisoning. Got online to find a remedy and found this site. Thanks so much. The ACV worked like a charm. He's a pretty big guy. I gave him 2 tbls in 4 oz distilled water. He would rather have it a bit stronger in a smaller amount of water so he can down it quickly. Then he chased it with another 4 oz distilled water. 10 minutes later he was sleeping like a baby. Got up about 2 hours later and actually went to work!

Thank you everyone! Apple Cider Vineagar is a miracle remedy. I had a salad and within an hour I was vomitting. I took the apple cider vinegar about ten minutes after the episode and I feel so much better, as if I can return back to normal life. This is amazing.
