Turmeric + Boil = Cure! I've had an annoying boil for about two years. Nothing would shift it! I knew what made it worse, though; alcohol and caffeine drinks. Luckily I stumbled across this site and found the turmeric cure. Rather sceptically I gave it a go and after just a few doses it's gone! I'm going to keep taking it for a while and it's a good blood purifier anyway. THANK YOU so much for this site and for everyone who recommended turmeric. I'm also using apple cider vinegar as that seems to be a cure-all, too!

I have had a large cyst on my left leg for about a year. Last month, i started taking turmeric to make it better. I started with one capsule a day, eventually working up to 3 or 4. Turmeric hasn't helped at all and now i have found another cyst. It is a sebaceous cyst and I'm not sure if it is the same as a boil, because turmeric hasn't helped worth a crap. Is there a difference between sebaceous cysts and boils? And does anyone know what i can do about this? Also, haw many 450mg turmeric capsules is it safe to take at one time?

Hi there Stumbled across your site in desperation for a cure for reoccurring boils on my posterior. Very painful and embarrassing! Read the turmeric testimonials and immediately made up a vegetable stew/curry containing 2 large tablespoons of tumeric.Took to work for lunch and by the second day the boils (cluster of four) were subsiding and I could sit in my office chair without wincing. By day four, all that was left was a little reddened area and a small lump. I suffer from CFS as well and try not to over medicate as I seem to be so sensitive to everything including a reaction to penicillin and sulphur based antibiotics so am thrilled and sitting pretty. Have now saved your site to my favourites list. Thank you from New Zealand. Kind regards, Dee

Hi, I have been faithfully using turmeric and switched to vegetarianism, but I have to tell you that I had five or six red spots in my arm pit and four red spots that remained after I got rid of a huge swelling on my face, none of these red spots would go away and we have ongoing acid rain spell in this area. I put some Walgreens Calahist calamine lotion on them last night and this morning, they have dried up and disappeared. I am sure you need to continue the turmeric and some sea salt, plus using the Walgreens calamine lotion. Make a list of the foods that cause bad outbreaks for you. I no longer eat bread, fewer eggs, almost no sweets. I prepare homemade veggie soups with extra fresh garlic, some turmeric (ALWAYS) a little sea salt, rosemary, oregano oil...Hope my information helps someone else...

I've been having the same boil come up about once every 3-4 months for the last 4 years and have never been to a doctor because I don't believe in putting a whole bunch of junk in my body that I don't even know what it is. For the last 3 years I've used Colloidal Silver, Chlorophyll and garlic to cure it and it usually got rid of it within 3-4 days. If I caught it in time it wouldn't even appear. However this last time I did that and it seems that my body is starting to resist it so I started looking for another way. I found your website that told me about Tumeric, so I went to Wal-Mart and bought the pills. I took one yesterday morning and one last night and then one when I got up today and it's almost gone! I couldn't believe it. With the other three I would probably still have it for another 3 days, I just can't have that. However instead of shrinking it grew, came to a head and drained out and now it's almost gone. This is totally awesome since it took less then 36 hours. More people need to know about this -- keep the word going.

To start with I mixed 2 tsp of the ground spice in 1/2 a glass of water. Tasted absolutely gross. However, within 4-5 hours it had shrunk by 50%(Not Kidding). Then, I just sprinkled it on the 2 remaining meals that day. Day 2..Found the capsules at Wal-Mart, took 1 mid morning and 1 that night. Basically it was gone except for a small knot. Day 3.. All I can say is I shaved with a razor and am just totally amazed as is my know it all aunt who had to admit that I was right. The internet rules. Thanks to everybody.

2 years ago I suddenly started getting boils for the first time in my life. Clusters of them on my rear end, large and painful and by the time they would heal I would have a new batch. My doctor recommended I use antibacterial soap and a medicated powder on the area. I did this every day for months and it had no affect on my boils. 6 weeks ago I started searching the internet for home remedies ready to try anything as I didn't feel like I could go on living with this problem forever. The first site I found was this one recommending the Turmeric, so I went and got a bottle of Turmeric capsules from a health food store and started taking one 400mg capsule a day. The day I began taking it I had 3 boils, those cleared up in 2 days and I haven't had another boil since then. For the first time in 2 years no boils!!! I can't thank you enough for putting this information out there, without it I would still be sitting here suffering with my doctor having no idea how to help. Thank you!

I had a boil pop up right between my eyebrows at a really inopportune time and I needed to get rid of it quickly. I tried warm compresses for 3-4 days but there was no change, the boil didn't even come close to a head. In desperation I searched further and found this website recommending turmeric. At first I tried the powder but the taste was too much, I couldn't drink it more than once. So, with a bit of difficulty, I tracked down turmeric pills and within 3 days my skin was 80% back to normal, the boil just shrank right down. I took a 300mg pill 2-3 times a day, had no problems with constipation or any other side effects. I am definitely keeping a bottle of turmeric capsules around for any future breakouts. I would recommend them to anyone, they won't hurt and judging from experience there's a good chance they might actually help.

My son has been being treated for a boil on his forehead for over 2 months and all the antibiotics they kept making him take did nothing to the boil. Although they did make him feel sick and very weak (that could be a side effect of the boil also). He developed a second boil about a week ago and got very depressed that they weren't getting any better. He stopped taking all medications and tried the tumeric powder as per the instructions on your website. He couldn't believe how much better he felt and how quick the boils started to go down. The only downside was the taste, he hates it. He found the capsules (500 mg ea.) but we don't know how many he is supposed to take.

Hi, I was on the alert today because we got real heavy rain. Sure enough, on my forehead there appeared a tiny new bump. All my other boils on my cheek were completely dried up and healed. I never stopped taking turmeric, sipping it all day in whatever I am drinking at the time. The new bump is very small and I attacked it immediately with iodine. I could see infection under my skin in the surrounding area because I am 64 and my skin is thin and I saw the dark large spot surrounding the small bump so I want to say it is important to douse the surrounding area also. Many people do not have skin thin enough to see through it so they need to know this. Also to be extremely careful not to allow any iodine drips to get into the eyes. I always hold a clean tissue while applying the iodine. Needless to say, I am going to double up on the turmeric. I bought three more containers of turmeric and a couple more bottles of iodine. This is not povidone iodine, but the tincture of iodine in the little bottles that cost about $1. Thanks to the owner of this website and to Ted, I am able to kill these boils rapidly. But I always have to be on the alert watching for new ones. And never stop the turmeric. Thank God for the people who run this website.

I forgot to mention that none of my boils reached the surface. I am an internet nut, so when the first boil appeared, I jumped onto the net and immediately found this wonderful site with information about turmeric. Thank God, I had a new bottle of turmeric powder on the shelf. I am going to keep up the turmeric for a couple of months and maybe longer... It may have been the turmeric instead of the iodine that caused the secondary boils to totally disappear overnight and reduce the mother boil to a tiny little lump under the skin surface. The iodine burns and stains my skin. I am very fair skinned but I put up with the pain, thinking it was killing the boils, but now I wonder if it is the turmeric. I put a teaspoon of the powder into my coffee and you can hardly taste it, anyway, who cares what it tastes like so long as it works. I sip the coffee all day and night until bedtime.

Turmeric works for boils. I had two large boils on my face. One on my cheek that had arose about 4 days prior to the one on my forehead. I have suffered from them for most of my life. I read about turmeric on this site and decided to try it. I started taking 1 tsp. turmeric with a half of glass of warm water 3 times a day. The texture was making me queasy so I switched to 1 tsp. turmeric and a half a glass of vanilla soy milk three times a day on the second day. That was much easier to get down. On the third day the younger boil on my forehead has came to a head and burst. The older boil on my cheek has softened and is no longer painful (pain was reduced significantly on both boils on the first day!). I only wish I would have found this site before they broke the skin.

I started taking Turmeric for a group of boils that I had on my right jaw line. These boils were so bad that they felt like someone put a cigar out on different places of my face. This is now day 2 of treatment with Turmeric The pain has stopped and so has the itching. This in no small thing as the pain and inching is severe --- it stops you picking at them. The boils have drained and have begun to heal. I have had these boils before and they take months to heal some as long as 2 years to fully heal. So I am very pleased with this treatment. it's as good as an antibiotic -- better as I would have to take antibiotics for months before. One thing I learned is that Turmeric will stain. Watch where you leave teaspoons and glassed etc..

I've had reoccurring patches of boils for about 13 or 14 years now. I get them under my arms, my inner thighs, sometimes on my stomach and bottom. I've tried the antibiotic soaps which were so harsh they actually bleached my clothes. I've always tried to keep the areas clean and dry and not to shave over them. I've never really had much luck with getting them to stay away for any length of time. I had finally started to get fed up with the pain this past week and was about to set a dermatologist appointment when I happened on this site. I don't care to take antibiotics so I figured I would try some of the remedies. HOW AMAZING IT"S BEEN! I started to take Turmeric 3x a day and I've been taking it for 4 days and I can already see a significant difference. The large boil I had is almost invisible but I can still feel the core. many of the other smaller ones are gone and my skin hasn't looked this smooth and clear for a VERY long time. I've also been rubbing under my arms with Tea Tree Oil, but it think it is the Turmeric because my thighs are clear as well. I've also been
oil pulling which I find more enjoyable each day I do it. I can't wait to see the lasting benefits of it but my teeth sure do seem whiter. It also initially seemed to help my cough.
