I have had boils and severe acne since I was ten years old. I'm twenty five now. The boils spread from my face to my back and arms, and then to my thighs and other areas in that region. I was unable to find a remedy. It was very frustrating and painful. I discovered this website last year and have used several remedies successfully for other issues. One day I discovered the section on boils and saw that many people recomended turmeric. I started taking app. 7 capsules of turmeric every day. I purchased the capsules from Wal-Mart. They are very inexpensive. Within two weeks my face cleared up. It's been four weeks now and no new boils have appeared at any place on my body. I get compliments from friends and family asking what I did to clear my face up. The turmeric not only cleared up the boils but the acne as well.

I have suffered from boils for the first time in my life about a year ago. I was bitten by a spider on my back. The resulting infection caused me to run a fever, and it was several weeks before it finally went a away with the help of antibiotics and the doctor lancing it.
About 2 months later I started getting boils under my arms. since I had never had one before I didn't know what it was. I ended up going to the doctor and was put on meds once again. Funny thing is I didn't get them in the winter, only when the weather got warmer they came back. They didn't tell me there was a core that needed to come out before it would heal. Finally I decided the meds were a waste of time and money, so this spring the boils started showing up again. This time I decided to look for some different way of treating them. I found your site, I tried the tummeric and egg shell lining. It worked wonderfully, it has been 2 months now and it is still gone. Usually when one would open and drain , another one would immediately start to form somewhere else. This has not been the case. I am very pleased! Thank You!

After reading the comments about turmeric and boils on your website, I bought a bottle of turmeric pills. I had a recurring boil and a couple of new boils at the time...well, within a few hours, the new ones were draining/getting smaller!!! It is now a few days later and my old boil is gone as are the other ones!!! thanks!!!

Turmeric for a boil... I had a boil that came back for the third time. Right on the rim of my a--. I mean deep in the crack right next to the rim. I thought it might be a hemroid the first time but realized it was a boil by the second. Each time is starts small but painful, and grows fast. Usually I have to wait for 4 or 5 days until it gets to a point where the pain is so bad I can barely move. I apply a hot compress for another day or so and finally when I think it i need to see the doc, it opens up and drains the foulest liquid on earth.
This time I researched on the web the 2nd day to see if there was something I could do at home to help. TURMERIC. I rushed to the market and got a $5 bottle of turmeric spice, powder form. Took a teaspoon at 8pm and another at midnight. didnt sleep much cause the boil growing like a volcano on steroids. Got worse all night, hot showers and hot compress. Another teaspoon at 9am and another at noon. 4 pm, I get up to heat some more water for my hot towel regiment and... Bamb... felt the instant relief drainage. I can only imagine the relief of a woman giving birth, but its close. I have never had a boil go through its cycle so fast, not even close. It did get worse for me until it came to a head but let me say that the amount of time, and pain, was soooo much faster. For me it accomplished in 24 hrs what has taken 3-6 days. 36 hours later, as I type this, I am pain free and feeling like a reborn soul. Thank You guys!!!
Make sure to take care of the boil post eruption. Antibacterial soap, neosporin or some king of antibacterial ointment, and a bandage. Keep doing this until it heals. This way you get a healing process from the inside out and will minimize the chances of reinfection.

I've had an excruciatingly painfull boil for about 5 days. After taking 1 teaspoon of turmeric 3 times a day, the boil has just open up started draining like you wouldn't believe. I can't believe how much puss has come out of my body, but it has relieved the shooting pain so much. I'm on day two taking the turmeric, and I feel so much better already.

I've had trouble with pea sized boils on my posterior for the last few months. Tried some campo phenique, didnt' work. Tried washing extremely well for weeks and putting on clearasil, didn't work. Then yesterday I discover a huge boil about the size of a half-dollar and I'm thinkign I need to call the doctor and finally give in to my embarrassment. But I looked online one last time and found this site, went out and bought a bottle of turmeric at walgreens. I took ONE pill at 1:00 PM and here it is 3:30 PM and it already drained (not fully, but the pain is gone!). I hope this will eliminate ALL future boils and I'll keep you posted. THANKS!

I am so grateful to have found this site. I do not know how long I have been suffering with recurring boils. Before I would get them in the armpit. They would sometimes be 2 or 3 under there. When they burst, it was horrendous. When I would burst them, it would literally fly right out. And I would squeeze all the blood out. Sometimes the next day there still would be blood. This went on under the armpit for about 4 years. Then I started getting them on my stomach. I never experienced so much pain! It was very painful under my armpits too. Then for a while I didn't get any boils. Now for the past 2 years I have had a recurring boil near my rectum. One time it got so big, about the size of a large walnut. It was very dark red. I was very scared as I never had a boil this big ever! It was so painful I wanted to cry. The night before it burst, I took a long hot bath and went to bed. The next morning, it was even bigger. I was in so much pain, that I couldn't wear underwear. I wore a loose pair of pants to work. I went to the store in the morning before work. My son was with me. When we returned to the car, I said what is that horrible smell? I didn't know what it was. I didn't have anything in the car to have spilled. I didn't even notice that I wasn't in any pain. When I got to work, I went to the restroom. My pants were soaked! The boil had burst. There was so much blood, I had to wear a maxi pad. Luckily my pants were a dark brown, the blood stain didn't show. But I could smell what I smelled in the car. What a disgusting smell! This was the worst ever boil that I have ever had! The boil has recurred several times since then, but not as big. So it fills up, drains, then I'm alright for a while, then the process starts back up. Last week, it started to fill up again and very painful. I went onto the internet and did a search for a cure for boils. I found your website and read about Tumeric. I took the powdered spice, not a pleasant taste at all. I made a paste of it last night. The boil near my rectum has gone down considerably! I feel a lot better as I know the boil has affected my immune system. I am amazed at how many people that I see on this website that suffer like I do. OK, so here is my story. I have been plagued with boils since I was about 18. I have asked doctors, and was always told there is basically nothing you can do to prevent them or treat them once they arise besides your basic hygeine care, hot compresses, etc. I have searched the internet before without much luck. Finally I found this site two days ago. As I sat in my swimsuit preparing to get in the hot tub in 80 degree weather to try to speed the process of a boil that is under my arm, I started reading about Turmeric. I constantly have at least one boil somewhere on my body, so I thought that if there is anyone that this remedy will not work for, it is going to be me, but that did not stop me from trying. So instead of getting in the hot tub, I threw clothes on over my bathing suit and headed to Wal Mart. Not only did they carry the spice, they also had the capsules in the vitamin section. So I get home, pop 3 capsules and make a paste of Turmeric and Neosporin and applied that directly on the boil. Within a couple of hours the pain had indeed lessened. I took 2 more capsules before bed. The next morning (appoximately 12 hours later) when I removed the bandage, I was amazed. It had sped the process considerably, and indeed the boil was drained, and another that had just been in the "hard, red, painful to the touch" phase had progressed to having a head that easily drained. The only drawback was that when I removed the bandaged boil, the skin was very raw, but to me that is a small price to pay in exchange for the relief of the pain of the boil. I am definately a believer, and am now starting to try ACV because of all of the benefits people seem to have with it in so many different areas of their health. Well, let me first start off by saying that to some degree I have always had ingrown hairs of some sort due to my curly hair and African American skin. About a week ago I started getting an ingrown hair on my face as usual, but this one kept growing and growing until it became an abscess and made me look like I was holding half an apple in my cheek. This was very painful and embarrassing so I found this site and read most of the testimonials on turmeric. I woke up the next day (Monday) and went to buy some turmeric extract 900mg (walgreens) right away. Got home and took 2 capsules, within about 4-6 hours the abscess became a bit softer and I burst it. Alot of puss and blood came out then I noticed the the pain going away and it was getting smaller. Took 2 more turmeric capsules before bed. When I woke up the abscess had shrunk to maybe 1/3 from the previous day and no pain. After more turmeric capsules that morning, I started to push on it to release more puss. A nasty puss plug came out and I saw it and almost fainted, then I got nervous and my hands started shaking. I felt a bit better but I had used so much peroxide that my skin was becoming discolored. I decided to go to the emergency room to get some antibiotics. When I finally got into the ER the doctor right away put a needle in my face to numb it then he used a scalpel to cut a bit then squeezed out something. To make a long story a little shorter they sent me home w/ 2 scripts. Overall I would say that the turmeric helped greatly in reducing the swelling and pain. I think it is helping with my allergies too because I was taking benadryl for skin allergies on a daily basis and I haven't needed it since I started taking turmeric. Lastly I would personally like to thank everyone involved in creating this website and making it FREE! Now to find a good plastic surgeon and dermatologist :(

Hi my name is Linda I live in Cali. I am only 24 years old. I got my first boil, well first 2 3 months ago OMG it was hell i missed a week of work and still was not better. It was so gross.. I have never seen so much pus in my life, the fist 2 boils were on my rear end and were the size of golf balls.. I did re- search and bought boil ease, that worked and boy was it messy the next day gross! Any how i did not know that the pus cant come in contact with other skin which it did. of course it spread and I got many many pea sized ones that i handled better, I looked in the mirror and looked at my bod i thought gross all these scars I have to do something.. So I first had to figure out how to cure them then tackle the scars! Well I recently like 4 days ago from 4/2/08 started Turmeric at first with tea, then i was like 4 get this I started taking tea spoon full with my downer a good drink. I normaly see more boils coming when others heal, but no new ones thank GOD! I will now use turmeric daily i carry it in my purse and sprinkle it on the food i eat daily it is an antioxidant and cleans the blood so im sure it will do me no harm I the boils i had are healing rather quicky. I did put drawing salve the black stuff on them and cover with a band aid over noght this helps too.. the day i got one close to my labia is the day I started turmeric and that one is nearly gone Thank GOD! I also use antibacterial soap and hand sanitizer frequently! I cant wait till they all heak so I can tend to the scars.. I plan to use turmeric for the rest of my life!

I read about the turmeric cure last nite and bought turmeric to drink...it tasted EWWW but now my enormous boil on my inner thigh has popped and the pain is no more I am so relieved. Going to continue taking turmeric till it dissapears took less than a day for it to make my boil go POP.

Ok, so I first got my boil about less than a week ago on my hip. Then I started getting them everywhere like my bum, my stomach, thighs, back, neck, ear, nose, and face. I mean it spread like crazy. I just had a UTI and was put on cipro, so I am sure that exacerbated the boils break out. I never have it before. Anyway, I came upon this site because I have been desperate to get rid of these nasty things. I bought the turmeric from my local grocery store for $5. I took 3 tsp w/ 4 oz of room temp water 4x yesterday. I took a hot shower w/soap. I lanced the boils that had a white tip and were ready w/ cotton pads drenched w/ bactine. I put neosporin w/ turmeric on the boils and wore clothes I didnt care about staining. Went to bed and woke up right now and looked at my boils. They are flat and scabbed over! and the pain is 80% gone. the biggest one the size of a large grape was on the back of my thigh and I can stretch and walk w/o feeling pain. It is amazing. Thank you so much for this site. I hope I never get boils again, but if I do I know what to do. I will continue to use the turmeric until it completely resolves. My boyfriend told me to make some curry w/ the leftover turmeric. I think from now on, turmeric will be in my diet. I hope that it can prevent future boils. I am a 26 y/o Female and this is very, very embarassing! I am sure it is for everyone as well. Also, the taste isnt that bad. I had juice as a chaser.

Wow Outstanding Turmeric spice cured my sons boils. our children have been getting boils on and off for two years and when one gets a boil they all get them within a week. I tried the Turmeric spice like in your web site a teaspoon in warm water three times a day and i was amazed the three boils were half the size by 24 hrs and two boils were gone in two days and the third boil which was about 3 inches in size took three days. Tumeric, magnesium & zinc rids boils. Since June of 07 I started getting very painfull boils every few weeks about 20 in total. After several courses of antibiotics failed I began heavy research. Discovered the three ingredients when taken during the first 12 hours stop the bacteria chain which causes the boil from developing. I immediately apply a magnesium/zinc based lotion - found "LaCure Dead Sea foot lotion" works best. It contains, salts, minerals including magnesium & zinc plus it is a natural antibacterial and anti fungal lotion. I apply it 3 times daily. Then I take magnesium with zinc supplements orally 200-400mg daily and also drink a hot tumeric tea 2-3 times a day until the bump is cleared. Usually takes 2-4 days. Since doing this any bumps that appear never advance to full blowm boils and I no longer get the pain that was accompanied. This website helped me alot.
