Borax for Lichen Sclersus and osteoarthritis

After reading many website on Borax I found Dr. Walter Last's website on 'The Borax Conspiracy' I followed his instructions to rid my LS condition of 3 years. I used 1/8 tsp Borax to 1 litre of distilled water for 10 days with a one day break after 5 days; then I mixed 1 heaping tsp Borax to 1 liter of water and took 1-2 tsp daily added to an additional glass of water. Also take 600-750mg Magnesium Citrate.

After 4 days of beginning this treatment, I noticed my energy increased and my knees, which have 'osteoarthritis', stopped aching. After 10 days, my LS inflammation began to subside, and the itching subdued greatly. For moisture I began to apply a combined solution made of 2 tbsp Castor Oil with a 5-6 drops of Lavendar Essential Oil and 3-4 drops of Lemon Grass Essential Oil and applied regularly on my labia/vulva area.

One month later, I feel much better and the healing is definitely happening! What a relief! I have stopped taking the 'steroids' prescribed by my Dermatologist, as it had only superficially contained the problem and the redness and itching hadn't ever stopped for long. I have never had a yeast problem ever before in my life, I'm a vegetarian since my teens, and 65 years old now. (PS. I do have a hypo thyroid condition since mid 30yrs, which I now take 5-6 drops of Nascent Iodine a day with '50mg Selenium', and discontinued taking my 'thyroxine' medication.)

I also take Nordic probiotics & Chromium; Vitamin D3 and Omega 3 to help my gut. I stopped drinking so much coffee and drink lots of water, modified glutens to very small amounts and walking more frequently.

Hello, I developed Lichen Sclerosus after a bad allergic reaction to latex. After trying the baking soda/acv/castor oil and getting some but not complete relief I tried borax in water, taken internally 2 times a day. It was completely gone within a week.

The dose I used was 1/8 tsp in a large glass of water and followed by another glass of water to ensure it was well diluted. I have been on this solution for almost 2 weeks and have had no further symptoms. I hope others suffering from this ailment will research borax cures.

Good luck all!

I've suffered from Lichen Sclerosis for years! Nothing helped and I had to endure colposcopies every year to make sure I didn't have cancer. Ouch! I found a group that recommended Borax Baths. Initially, I thought that was an insane idea. I did my research on Boron and decided to try it. Four years later, and I'm still taking my Borax baths on a regular basis. It is the only thing that calms my itching, burning and pain. My skin is healthy and soft, my overall physical pain is relieved and I rarely catch colds or viruses. (I've even managed to avoid the coronavirus— not that I'm suggesting that it's a preventative measure). My gynaecologist thinks I'm crazy for bathing in “detergents” but she's all wrong. Crazy like a fox.lol

Hi, I have been dealing with Lichen sclerosis since 2015. after trying many things as it continued to get worse and having things fuse from it, I went before the Lord and asked what it is and to please heal me. I was told it was parasitic. I then ordered turpentine, but I could only do that once. The itching was so intense that I wasn't able to sleep.

I came to this site and started reading about borax and then started doing it. I was still having itching at night, and I remembered black walnut was good for fungus and ringworms etc. I had bought some with wormwood and cloves in it for our fur baby, so I started putting it directly on the area after cleansing with borax. The itching stopped.

After two and a half months, the scales are coming off and it is helping with the fusing of skin. If in the fungus family or parasitic family which a fungus is a parasite the black walnut and borax is killing it.

Every day it is improving more and more. Lichen Sclerosis looks so much like tinea versicolor. I use the black walnut in the morning and at night. I rinse a couple of times a day with borax water and then I also mix black walnut with castor oil to help it stay in place. I take 1/8 of borax in a quart of water a day. I am a very thankful child of my Father. Praying this helps many.

Olive Oil + Borax = LS symptoms gone. Seriously. I can't remember where I first read about using that combination, but it works. Just plain olive oil (not EVOO) and borax applied to the vulva 2-3 x per day and every symptom is gone. And it worked fast. I continue to use the same remedy to avoid any return/flare-up, and I'm doing really well. Back to normal and feeling so grateful.

This works! Thank you! Used coconut oil with Borax and that worked also. Borax needs a good carrier oil.

Is the borax gritty when you just apply it directly to the vulva over the oil? Does the borax powder dissolve between uses when directly applied? Thanks!

Lichen sclerosus: I've been taking 1/8 tsp of Borax powder dissolved in water twice a day. I'm using Borax that is found in the laundry detergent section. It has not helped after 2+ weeks. Any suggestions?

Can you please tell us the Borax to olive oil ratio.

I don't really think about ratios. I keep a jar of each in my bathroom, apply some olive oil, and then apply a little of the Borax. Keep it simple. Find what works for you. Don't use so much olive oil you're dripping, or at least wear a pantie shield so you don't ruin your underwear.

What does borax mean? and is it safe where can I buy this? How are you, are you still complaints free from LS?

EC: Borax = 20 Mule Team Borax, which is found in the laundry aisle of most US grocery stores or online at Amazon. Read more here: https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/borax.html

Will the Borax and olive oil help genital Thrush as well? I think I have both.

How are you doing now??? Has anyone else tried the borax? I would assume it was as a drink.
