Hydrogen Peroxide

I am trying to find out whether inhaled H202 (through a pump spray or nebulizer) mainly benefits COPD sufferers with mucous/phlegm problems or whether H202 delivers a generally beneficial effect. This is because I have moderate/serious COPD and have no apparent phlegm problems (at least I don't cough anything up) : I have been inhaling 3% H202 (reduced from 35% FG ) for some weeks with minimal effects.

Could people reply with a brief message saying if they inhale H202 with a pump spray or nebulizer, whether they have phlegm problems and the effect?

If you are having chemical sensitivity, you are most likely deficient in magnesium, zinc, selenium. and molybdenum. It is best to take these in angstrom form - liquid ionic minerals. I went to an oriental medicine doctor. I took these minerals twice per day, 20 minutes apart. I took magnesium and molybdenum every day. I alternated selenium and zinc. For 2 weeks I took Mg, Selenium, Moly, then Mg, Moly, and zinc. It cleared up all chemical sensitivity. It took a year. I also took Jergon Sacha and a liver cleanse to clear out a viral infection that was causing the drain on minerals. I hope this helps.

Reply to William: You are not taking anywhere near enough MSM. I take 10 grams at least twice a day. This is 10,000 milligrams twice a day. At least. You need to get some powder. It is bitter, but just pour one mouthful in a glass and mix the msm in it.

Hi everybody. I'd like support what Robert said about Natural Microdose DNA. I've got an earlier post about my father using this product for his emphysema. He's improving all the time. His peak flow meter has risen even further from my previous post, written three weeks ago. It's now rarely below 200 and several times has been 220. He made more rapid progress when he started putting the drops underneath his tongue instead of on top of his tongue as he had been doing. I've just ordered another bottle from iherb.com. It costs me $NZ60 for one bottle plus courier to New Zealand, which only takes six days. Of course, this would be less in US dollars. A bottle lasts about two months at the normal dose, so it's pretty cheap, especially for something that actually works!! Obviously, other places sell it, apart from iherb.com, but if you go to their site and put "Natural Microdose DNA" or "Salmon DNA" in the search box, the product will come up and you will be able to read some very positive customer reviews about it. I hope it can help some of you with respiratory conditions, like it is helping Dad.

All the best,
Vicki

For those with C.O.P.D. & other respiratory ailments, please check research on 'natural microdose DNA' which is not a product name but a natural substance with research & use for humans & also in the veterinary fields. The price for the product is very reasonable for its effectiveness & is available to all as it is not a drug.

Answer to Bharat from Faridabad

With H2O2 we have to go slowly. If 18 drops is too much because of detox effect, just reduce it to a comfortable level. Than increase only after a while. You don't have to go as fast as a chart. Those charts are just guidelines.

The max recommended concentration for internal use is 0.5%. But even 1/10 of it can help. There are also other ways, like Baths with H2O2 and Epsom salt, or Bill Munro's inhalation method. People react differently to different concentration. When too much just reduce.

I posted something here with a lot of info.

Good Luck, Alain

Sea Salt

Sea Salt for Pneumonia

I have (usually) mild asthma. I visited a dusty wildflower area and contracted fungal pneumonia. The doctor did not apply effective antibiotics, because the infection was fungal, and he initially misdiagnosed it. The infection continued for weeks, and hardened into chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Over the next year I tried many remedies. Then I found an interesting fact. The ocean has millions of antibacterial virions per liter. This is why there are so few bacteria there: predation. I live in an oceanside city, and have no problem getting clean, fresh seawater. I spat some infected sputum into a bottle of seawater and diluted it to invisibility. The idea was that any virus would rapidly multiply by killing and eating the bacteria of my infection. Then over a week, I sprayed the water and inhaled it. My coughing got worse, but then air began to penetrate past the blockages and I began to cough them up; some looked like french fries. I'm now healthy.

I think a similar effort might work with artificial seawater made from organic sea salt. The idea is that it must be organic so that the antibacterial virions would need to be preserved in the salt.

We need to keep this alive. I just found this site. I used 35%food grade HP for the schedule and it gave me more energy and then stupid me slacked off. I need to go back to it. Anyway I have COPD and lately I can barely walk to the bathroom because I can't breathe from long time smoking, so I have been reading this. I tried Bill's method of putting 3%HP in a pump bottle undiluted. Then I put 3mg in my nebulizer and it's kinda strong so guess you can cut it with water. Now I'm using 35% food grade 1 drop per 2oz distilled water and then putting 3mg in nebulizer. Cheaper then using an oxygen tank I think and did give me instant relief so guess I'm going to do this about every two hrs and see how it goes then I probably will start the schedule back over which is 3 drops three x's a day then increasing one drop every day until you get to 25 drops then you taper back down to only using 5 drops per week

Carolyn

I am thinking you have mold. Mold illness.

Arthritis and breathing issues, worsening of symptoms. I would consider that mold at least contributes to the issues.

The easiest way to check is Petrie dishes. They are opened near, pipes drains or windows. Then allowed to grow. You can have them analyzed or check online there are pictures to compare the results to. Or you can have a mold test done professionally with a meter. This takes some research. You want experienced and a reputable company.

In the short term. You might experiment with Ted's mold remedy from page 6 under mold heading. It is my go to page for any mold issues.

https://ted.earthclinic.com/cures/mold.html

I use h2o2 remedy for virus or colds it works. For mold issues it is limited.

Teds borax remedies are helpful to make the borax saturated solution. Bath soaks.

Things that help with stairs. Teds ammonia spray.

Co q10

Topical magnesium oil on chest and back

A eucalyptus rub. 2 drops of essential oil in a small container of lotion. Mixed well. Applied to chest.

Deirdre's video for colloidal silver in cold mist vaporizer.

1000 mg of beta glucan reduced in water, 3x a day

3 or 7 mushroom blend.

Minerals deplete, or seem to when you encounter mold. It is nearly instantly. The worst, selenium yeast (selenium), sodium molybdate (molybdenum). once those two are low then recovery becomes 2x as hard.

These are my observations, with using Ted's remedies as a solve. I think many of us are diagnosed without any thought to cause.

Pine Bark Extract
Posted by Timh (Ky) on 08/22/2017 2042 posts

Thanks for the info Art. This is evidence of the free-radical, cell-protecting power of Pine Bark Extract. I have used PBE in the past but my choice usually goes to the more affordable Grapeseed Extract.

More on antioxidants for Lungs. Also in the same family as PBE & GSE, is Hawthorn Berry, which as in my experience, reveals specificity to heart & lung whereas the others appear more a whole body antioxidant.

So, I would recommend combining Hawthorn Berry with the PBE or GSE for best results.

I posted on 02/15 a warning about using h2o2 too aggressively for copd. I waited a year before trying it again. I used the Bill Munro method as well as in nebulizer. I nebulized about 3 mins about 3 times a day. I used nasal sprayer in throat about every 4 hours, 10 sprays. Three days later...Same as before. Oxygen level dropped rapidly. Albuterol in nebulizer did nothing. Blacked out before ambulance got here. Woke up 3 1/2 days later on a ventilator.

They tried for 3 days to get me to breath on my own. Needless to say it really put a scare in my family. I am 56 yr and smoked for over 30 yrs. I had such high hopes for the h2o2 use because I think I read ALL the testimonials. Of coarse when I first mentioned this to my pulmonary doctor he said "why would you want to put bleach in your body". I believed the folks on EC anyway. The only thing I can think of is that I did loosen up tar or whatever else smoking put on my lungs. I will still take advice as to what to do. I am happy for the ones it has helped.

I've used food grade h2o2 for copd and had some success- need to get more and try again-it is almost elusive to obtain!!

One compound pharmacy had to ask the boss if they could sell it as... they use h2o2 to make a lot of medicine! I got some from them-expensive-then contacted a BIG wholesale chemical company that gave me a pint or 2 for free as they sell it in 55 gallon drums-not too drastic for so much!

It does oxygenate and many diseases cannot live in an oxygen rich environment.

It may have some side effects that are not that nice- so watch out and I'd say (altho I am NOT a physician at all), use in moderation and probably not needed long term-continually. Experiment a little- see how you feel, I wager it will help in the right dose and over X amount of time depending on your condition

Good Luck!

On another note - if you do have any further knowledge of h2o2 effects on hemochromatosis PLEASE email me asap

Supplements

For COPD, the following supplements have helped me a lot:

Twice a day:

  • CoQ10 - two 60 mg (take w/food that has fat)
  • NAC - 600 mg
  • Vit D3 - 10,000 IU
  • Vit C - 1000 minimum
  • MSM - 2000 units

And once a day:

  • A good multivitamin
  • L Carnitine
  • Acetyl L Carnitine
  • Calcium (I make eggshell calcium, take with vit C)
  • B - 50 complex
  • Turmeric (I just put it in capsules)
  • Thyme (same, I put it in capsules)
  • Magnesium
  • Milk Thistle
  • Glutithione

Oil of oregano if I'm getting sick, ACV with baking soda per Ted several times a week. No dairy, no sugar, organic veggies and fruit if you can afford them. No fake food, real butter, coconut oil EVERY DAY. H2O2 in my nebulizer some days (there's a section on here about that).

Wow! Looks like a ton of pills, doesn't it. But now I use a rescue inhaler only once a day (Ventolin HFA), some days not at all. I'm now able to walk more, started exercising, feeling and breathing better now than I have in the past two years.

Good luck!

Hi Susan, strange you should ask, I have just this minute ordered a 500 ml bottle of 3 per cent hydrogen peroxide from Amazon with a spray. I havent tried to spray it in my throat, I have planned to do so, so many times, but this time gonna give it a go. Bill, bless him used the chemist store one in the brown bottle, and it worked fine for him, but ive bought the one that really is safe to take. Hope that helps. in fact quite a lot of reviewers now tell you not to use 35 per cent, as it can be quite dangerous. your best bet especially if you havent used it before is to stick with the 3 per cent. Bill never diluted his, but some do. Best wishes Rosina from london UK

COPD: I have had an extremely wheezy sounding lungs. My GP brother suggests this is the result of smoking which I ceased some 25 years ago. I have been a firm believer in MSM and tried various manufacturers without the success that other cases demostrate. Most importantly is to buy therapeutic level of supplements from a reputable company. Recently I purchased MSM powder 99.9% pure form J---B Lab. Taking: MSM half a teaspoon twice a day.

One dessert spoon of organic coconut oil twice daily. 5 Drops of Vit D, 1,000 mg Vit C powder in a magnesium base. I am going to add Magnesium Citrate and Vit A and start Vit E again and see where we go from here. The results to date have been much less wheezing and loads more energy.

He needs his 25 hydroxy D levels to be at least 60-80 ng/mL in order for his immune system to work. The steroids destroy the immune system and we need the immune system to fight. No amount of silver will boost the immune system. I would give him a 3 day superdose of 2,000 iu's per kg of body weight, once per day for 3 days only and then use a maintenance dose daily of about 50 iu's per lb of body weight once per day.

I experienced some negative side effects from nebulizing a combo of Colloidal Silver & Hydrogen Peroxide (maybe used too much H2O2), so did some research and found some warnings that it can be too strong so please be advised to go at this w/ caution. Maybe do a daily rotation of C.S. then H2O2 and if not getting desired results start w/ a very minimal amount of oxygen to silver ratio.

Leonard Harrowitz used to sell an Oxygen/Silver product advertised as the most potent natural antibiotic called "OxySilver". He and his wife have since divorced and I assume she got the retail business, but I think the product is still available.

I am 68 yrs old and suffer from COPD. I have smoked since the age of 16. I recently heard about H2O2 Inhalation and while Googling found Earth Clinic. Here I came apon Bill Monroe and decided to try it. When I first started, last Sept. 2011, I could not walk to the mail box (about 50yds) without weezing. Now I get there and back to the house. But I still wanted more. I recently read about DMSO and MSM. They sound like answers to my prayers. I ordered them today from my vitamin supplier and will start using as soon as they arrive. I will be taking 1000mg MSM 3X a day and inhaling MDSO. As many have asked where to get DMSO I thought I would let you know what I found. I went on line to Amazon looking for books about it and when I typed in DMSO a whole list of DMSO items came up, from creams to liquids. Much cheaper that what I had just paid at another location. I will try to let everyone know how they work for me.

------------------------------

4/22/2012 Update:

I have been using DMSO (50%) and MSM 1000mgX3 since 3/3/12 with no ill side effects. I also use a H2O2 inhaler. I definately can breath better. I can now make 2 trips to the mail box without stopping to catch my breath. Also for the past week I have noticed that I am sleeping all night and resting better. I no longer need to take an afternoon nap. I use both inhalers 4 to 5 times daily with 2 deep breaths and 4 pumps each breath. When I reorder my DMSO it will be 99.9%. I did have one short spell of not feeling well and I cut back on the amount of DMSO I was using. I believe that I may have been overloading my liver and kidneys. No problem now.

For COPD, I put 1/4 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide in 1/2 gallon of distilled water in my vaporizor and inhale through the mouth 10 times twice a day and a few times through the nose also. I was in pretty bad shape a few months ago but now I'm able to do so much more without losing my ability to breath.

For months I also took 1/4 t. of celery seed (a natural diaretic), tea made with 1/4 t. Lobelia, 1 t. of Mullein and 1 t. Hyssop twice a day.

I also started taking MSM and cayenne pepper, which I still do. I don't need the tea anymore. I have to limit my intake of dairy and mold and pollen is still a challenge, but being 90% better is great.

Serrapeptase, Breathing
Posted by Livia (The Woodlands, Tx) on 11/18/2010
★★★★★

For COPD, I wanted to mention a couple of other possibly useful aids: one is serrapeptase, which is a supplement that dissolves fibrotic lesions in the body. Some folks with copd'ers are breathing more easily since using that. Be careful if you tend to bleed easily, though, or are taking a blood thinner.

The other idea is to find a breathing technique that works for you. Life Lift and Bodyflex are two funny-looking ones that can help a lot. Fine for most people, unless you have high blood pressure or glaucoma, (or are pregnant, which I'm thinking doesn't apply to you). I've seen a demo of the bodyflex breath on youtube before. The life lift version is slower and gentler (the bodyflex founder learned it from the life lift lady, actually. )

Basically, you gently blow all the air out of your lungs through your mouth, as if blowing through a tube... A martial arts article explained that there are multiple benefits to doing it this way, btw... Then a big inhale through the nose (smile to open up your nostrils to their widest), hold a second or three, then blast the air out, and pop your lips as you say "Paaaaaaaah. " It isn't vocalized, it's just air. Then you hold your breath and suck in your gut as if rolling up your abs. In fact, there is a yoga move like this. Hold your breath. With practice, you will feel the suction as you do it, and when you release the air and hear a sucky sound. Hold as long as you feel comfortable holding your breath, but you don't need to go longer than a count of eight or so, and repeat. Fifteen minutes a day should dramatically help oxygenation and lung flexibility. If you have contraindications for that sort of breathing, then incorporating any gentler, intentional breathing exercises into your day should be a must on your daily to-do list.
