Thank you for your article. I am a master of Applied Kinseiology through expertly applied muscle testing I literally"ask" the prostate gland specific questions or "challenges" to determine its exact condition and if negative can further determine the exact "fix" which is unique and different for every prostate gland.... Please don't misunderstand muscle testing it is an art and a SKILL that takes years to master. Without proper training and most important a tremendous amount of practical clinical experience/practice. Muscle testing is USELESS. Muscle testing properly applied is the most accurate diagnostic tool on the planet.

I suffered a chronic prostatitis with abdominal pain and frequent urination for three months. I think it was due to retaining ejaculation for an excessive time. A urologist recommended me a prostate massage (after a negative urine culture and test) and a batch of a couple of antibiotics for two weeks I did not experience any improvement and I stayed the same.
On my own I started doing abdominal exercises by lifting my legs and bringing them to my chest. This greatly moderated abdominal pain.
Without a solution in sight, and already without hope, on my own I experienced drinking a teaspoon of DMSO 70%, and at the same time I was massaging the pubis with this liquid. I began to feel better from the first session, with reduced pain and moderation of urine at night.
Afterwards, I then decided to rub the liquid directly into the glans first in the nights, and then in the mornings too, after asepsis with soap and water, and then the relief was quicker. Today in the fourth month since the onset of chronic prostatitis I am free of it.
Yesterday I had the prostate antigen PSA taken and the result was 1.6, excellent for a man 65 years old.

Dear Keith,
Some people find that Blackstrap taken in coffee works well for them; it would be worth a try.
If the iron from the blackstrap is what helps with enlarged prostrate though, I don't think it will work. Either the coffee or cream affect the iron absorption. (I was taking blackstrap in coffee and it did not help me when I was anemic.)

It seems the more of these supplements my hubby take the higher his psa test goes. I am beginning to wonder about the supplements bc before he was taking so many 4 years ago, his prostate wasn't even enlarged. And he was mainly taking saw palmetto and collidal silver. Either certain brands of supplements don't work or they may be fake pills. I don't know..... But we do know the psa test is not approved by the fda bc they found it to be too inaccurate and gave it a failing grade of 'D'! Would you want a doctor to operate on you if you knew his final grade was a 'D' on his license? I know, there wouldn't really be a license. Just saying...

I am definately buying avc today and adding it to his nettle Rosemary roubious palmetto berry tea which I grow and harvest myself. It's delicious!! I add it to 1c of his food n add I tsp citrocel twice a day. He's adamant that I'm on top of it so usually make it before I pass out lol. It's been hard in that he can't communicate to me what helps and I don't have that body part so hearing from you "penis people" (and I say that lovingly lol) has been so helpful!
Give the nettle tea a try it really seems to help him so much. U can order it online and I highly recommend dried saw palmetto berries that I add while boiling the water. Steep for at least 15-20mins but I let it sit overnight. The nettles help with infection and packed with nutrients! Good luck fellas as I'm a true believer in "its your penis use it when you want to" kinda hard when it's broken.

I'm 62 going on 63 this month. I have been experiencing slow to dribble urinating for years. I thought getting up 5 to 7 times a night was normal. I felt in was normal since I'm getting older. But lately I decided to go get a check up to see if I had a medical issue. I took a fasting blood sugar test. My urine and blood test all returned normal. I was very pleased but symptoms remained.
My search lead me to BLACK STRAP MOLASSES (BSM) and APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (ACV). I immediately tried ACV that evening and noticed that night better rest and less trips to bathroom. I got excited. For the next 3 days I took 2 table spoon BSM in morning and 2 ACV at night. I began to see an immediate change in urination flow and less bathroom trips, but at night I was still getting up every 2 hours to pee. But I immediately saw a difference. I now could see light at the end of the tunnel.
I decided to experiment. I decided to stop taking 2 TBS of ACV AND 1 TBS of BSM at night. I have been taking 2 TBS BSM & 1 TBS ACV in the morning only. This has been nothing short of a miracle. BSM along with small amount of ACV has cured me. I not completely sure what was wrong me, but the symptoms are all but gone. Last night I slept 6 hrs straight for the first time in yrs. I have accomplished all this in less than 2 weeks. OH yea...I left out the most important ingredient, Prayer and Jesus Christ.
Thanks for reading, I will give more information soon on my recovery from prostate problems. Michael

R: I use and promote Milled Flax Seed often and am trying to understand why MFS is moderately effective for prostate problems and never heard of this remedy prior. I can only deduce that MFS is helping prostate function indirectly by cleaning the colon thereby reducing infection from leaky colon that finds it's way into the blood, urine, and prostate, or maybe penetrate tissue directly to the prostate. We do at least now know that many cases of inflamed prostate is a result of infection.
In addition to MFS several times daily to keep my colon clean, I take softgels of Aloe Vera about once per week.

Turpentine Cure:
I had an enlarged prostate to the point I had to sit sideways in my truck to drive. I did not want to go to the doctor and take drugs. I read about turpentine and thought I would give it a shot. I took a dose, three sugar cubes soaked with turpentine every three days. First dose, next day I woke up felt very good and worked thru the day about 2pm I had a diarrhea attack. The diarrhea was very black and very awful smelling. For a period of about 3-4 days I did not have the diarrhea but my waste was still black until it normalized.
I kept taking the turpentine every three days for about three weeks and then I went to the toilet and peed, I started to pee chunks. The chunks were the consistency of snot with a little blood red end. This lasted about three days with the intensity waning as it progressed. Swelling immediately went down.
When I take turpentine now I barely get a reaction. OK there is my story.

Let me just begin by saying that I have known for 20 years that something was not right with my prostate, you can feel when its not right. But I noticed just recently that the discomfort and symptoms have gone away entirely. I started searching my diet and trying to understand this. It took a few days before I realized what it was.
About 2 1/2 months ago I changed my breakfast habits. I started making breakfast burritos every morning and sometimes at lunch. Long story short my wife was in hospital and I was trying to simplify things. I had noticed that my burritos tasted a lot better with Pace picante sauce on them, and so I read the label and there was no sugar, corn syrup, or artificial ingredients, preservatives etc and that it was cheaper by the gallon Hmmm. So I started buying the medium heat picante sauce by the gallon and refilling my little glass pace jars.
I am starting the third gallon and I woke up the other morning and realized that even when I take my allergy meds with Pseudoephedrine in them that there was no discomfort. I also noticed there was no issues going to pee, Hmmm. Why?? I started searching and discovered why. Because of a ingredient in tomatoes called Lycopene. That is the only changes in diet I have made.
I eat at least a half cup of it a day almost every day. I'm a old member here at Earth Clinic and so I have been using lemon or lime and baking soda for maybe 10 years for my ph, Thanks to TED. It's been years since I have used the site. But I thought this to important not to share. I wasn't looking for a remedy, but I tripped over one by mistake. I found a remedy that works and didn't know it. When I realized I had healed myself I started looking for how. I could think of no better place to share it. Better save this one folks, It works.

Don't understand the constipation bit. ACV is actually suggested as a quick (within 15 minutes) way to get your colon moving stuff out. For all ACV references, you must be using an unfiltered vinegar with the "mother" in it. That is all the sludge you will see at the bottom of the bottle.

I am constantly waking throughout the night to urinate from 4 to 6 times a night. None of the above apart from the ACV and bicarb have had any relieving effect.
My problem now is that after I've urinated, for several minutes I have a sort of urinary incontinence not a lot but quite a few drips running down my leg. Do you have any solutions?

Spirulina, Coconut Oil
Posted by Jake (Chicago) on 05/02/2015
Since I have kidney issues, the tomato paste is hard on me because of the high potassium level. I have just determined that watermelon has about 50% less potassium for the same amount of lycopene and the absorption seems to be just as good, without the need for oil - although coconut oil I believe is still good for you nonetheless. See the following from Dr. Weil's site:
Watermelon for Prostate Cancer?
I love tomatoes on my salads, but I've read that tomatoes have to be cooked in order to reduce the risk of prostate cancer. Is this true?
Answer (Published 12/10/2002)
The compound in tomatoes that reduces the risk of prostate cancer is lycopene, which is the carotenoid pigment responsible for their red color. Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that a number of large studies have shown is particularly good at protecting against prostate, colon and rectal cancer, as well as heart disease. It is true that lycopene is much more available to the body from cooked tomatoes than from raw ones. And since it is fat soluble, you need to eat your cooked tomatoes with some fat to facilitate absorption. That doesn't mean eating all the pizza you can get your hands on. However, it does suggest that homemade marinara sauce would be a healthful staple. I make my marinara with olive oil and keep some on hand in the freezer.
However, if you don't like tomatoes, you could try watermelon. Results of recent research at the U.S. Department of Agriculture suggest that watermelon contains 40-percent more lycopene than an equivalent weight of tomatoes. As a matter of fact, one study suggests that watermelon may be a better source of lycopene than tomatoes. The amount of lycopene provided in watermelon is as well absorbed by the body as lycopene from tomatoes. (And, of course, you don't have to cook watermelon to get the same benefits that you get from tomatoes.)
This new information about lycopene comes from a study at the USDA's Agricultural Research Service laboratory in Maryland. Participants (all of them healthy) ate either a diet low in lycopene or one supplemented with cooked tomato juice or squeezed and frozen watermelon juice. Results showed that those who drank either juice doubled their blood lycopene concentrations by the end of the trial. Scientists say that this is the first study to show that the body takes up lycopene from raw watermelon.
The body converts about 500 different carotenoids into vitamin A. I recommend taking advantage of them all. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables, especially peaches, melons, mangoes, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkins, tomatoes, and dark leafy greens - and now watermelon - can give you an abundant supply of these healthy pigments. (If you don't get enough of these foods in your diet, you may want to use an antioxidant supplement. I recommend a mixed carotenoid supplement containing lycopene, lutein, alpha-carotene and zeaxanthin, as well as beta-carotene.)
Andrew Weil, M.D.
Dosage Update, October, 2004
In order to provide the most up-to-date health information, I may change my recommendations from time to time. Due to compelling new research on carotene, I now suggest that you take 15,000 IU of mixed carotenes. (My previous recommendation was 25,000 IU; please adjust your dosage accordingly.)

No one was more sceptical than me about natural cures, but through desperation I turned to the Internet to try and find help for my prostate issues. I am very grateful to every one who posted about apple cider vinegar because to my amazement it really works. I have had troubles for nearly four years without remedy, and yet within three hours of taking the vinegar (one tablespoon in water) the discomfort I have suffered for so long started to dissipate.
Two days later I feel so much better and I would encourage anyone suffering to give it a try. I have also started taking blackstrap molasses as recomended on another part of this site. I never post on websites but feel it is so important for sufferers to give it a try I had to help spread the word. Best wishes to everyone looking for help.

Prostate Enlargement:
Here are some helpful insights (I hope helpful) on what might be happening relative to prostate problems.
Enlarged prostate might mean there is an infection in the prostate causing enlargement of the prostate, unrelated to cancer. The reports form various cancer studies would indicate that enlargement (BPH) does not mean there is there is cancer in the prostate.
There is more a likelihood that there is a yeast, bacterial or viral infection in the prostate causing the enlargement. But then the reaction upon learning of a BPH problem by typical health care providers is to get a needle biopsy (12 point biopsy) where 12 needles are shot through the rectum and into the prostate.
However, the infection rate is very high for such a procedure.
So there is a quandary about how to handle the issue. A regular medical approach would typically call for such a biopsy and also an MRI and then medication.
But for those wishing to take a more conservative approach, the postponement of the invasive procedures means one would be looking at natural means to reduced enlargement; use of beta sitosterol, saw palmetto, pumpkin seed and many other formulas might be first tried.
But the underlying problem of the possibility of a deep seated infection in the prostate will still not have been addressed. So often the anti inflammation problem will persist.
My suggestion is that any man suffering with BPH who is seeking out methods to deal with prostate enlargement not overlook the possibility of underlying infection.
There are some innovative methods of analysis available...Radio Wave Frequency techniques, Rife Technology and other possible avenues for determining if a yeast or bacteria or virus is causing the enlargement should be explored.
I'd appreciate any reader to comment on this issue of how to determine if an infection is present and how to deal with possible deep tissue infections...in this case a possible deep gland infection.
I have used colloidal silver over a long term in high quantity as well as Rife. So far in measuring inflammation, mine is much reduced. Deep bacteria infection appears to have been the cause and I think the Rife technology is the reason there is a reduction in infection and consequently a reduction in inflammation. Hence, I am becoming asymptomatic. Reduction in gland enlargement, however, can take a very long time to accomplish so patience is a virtue.
I have to avoid the known prostate inflammatory items such as coffee and chocolate.

Please do not try White Vinegar, it's great to clean with, it is not good to take. You can buy organic unfiltered ACV at any health store. At first it is very harsh to take straight up, you can take it with 8 oz. or so of warm water with honey, the honey will dissolve. Start with a tablespoon and work your way up to 2 tablespoons a day of acv.

I am 68, have had blood in semen for about 15-20 years, prostate checked once a year and normal enlargement for my age. I started to spice my food at lunch time with about a bit less than level teaspoon of chili pepper in liquid form. After a few days blood gone from semen completely. I also used to have one testicle where I believe some of the blood accumulated and always was somewhat larger, that testicle is also back to normal size. I have had no difficulties with urination before but perhaps urine flows a bit better. What beats me is why regular doctors, whom I respect and consult when I need to, do not seem to receive any training on natural medicine as a complement to modern medicine. It only damages their image when people experience what I have
