Can anyone please help me to get rid of this disease. I am 28 years old now and I have alopecia since I was 16. I lost some part of my hair in the head and the body including eyebrow and beard. I suspect this is because of the fungus as it itches and my nail surface is uneven and not smooth. I am tired of this disease but nothing works fine for me. Some medication helps to regrow but doesn't prevent hair loss. I am thinking of using tea tree oil and boron supplement. How it works? How much do I need to take? Thank You

Have you looked into your nutrition? Is it properly balanced? I am finding that I have an imbalance in my system - gluten sensitivity- causing patches of hair loss. Good luck.

It's a long time since you posted, but I just signed up to answer. I have hair loss from some years, but I noted that those last time, I had uneven fingernails on my two thumbs, and some other nails too. I don't know if it's linked. I'm also 46 year old. According research, some uneven nail can be a deficiency in iron too.

I seem to have the same problem with the red and inflamed scalp. How long are you on the minocin for it to work?

Hi. I have seen that Milk Shampoo on Amazon. It is pretty expensive, but worth the money if it works, right!

I picked up the R-80 serum for my son who is 5yrs old...has anyone tried this for alopecia areata? or just the Rene Fruterere soothing milk? I could really use some feedback on what to use, I found the serum in Sephora store.

Hi,

I have a bald spot the size of a nickel near the top of my ear. I really think it happened when I was hit very hard during a sporting event. This is the second time it has happened in the same spot during a 3 year period. I suffered a severe hit the first time as well. The bald spot varies in size during a 1 year period from the size of a dime to the size of a quarter. The bald spot does not irritate me in any way. I have medium to thick wavy hair. Please recommend a product or products that could help me because I do not want to have to wait more than a year for it to start growing again and I do not want to have any kind of injection - Per doctor's recommendation.

I noticed that Rene Furterer Shampoo was recommended. I want to purchase it but before I do I just wanted to know if this shampoo was the only product or was it combined with any other products?

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Alicia, I am quite impressed with your story and I am planning to buy the same product but as you have said "Rene Furterer Astera Soothing Milk Shampoo" I could not find the same thing as you have mentioned. There are other with similar names. But not this one. Can you please help me to choose the same as you have described.

thanks in advance....!!!

Decolorized iodine can be challenging to find. I have seen it on www.otclatino.com. Just type iodine into the search bar, and it will pop up.

Hi I am new to this site. My son is 25 years old and has Graves Disease since he was 16 years old. He had his thyroid radiated about 10 years ago and is on synthroid ever since. His hairline is receding very bladly. Would iodine treatment regrow his hair? Internally or externally? Clear or orange iodine? Any other remedy that would work? Could you give me specific directions on how to try to regrow his hair? Thank you in advance.

Jay, the vitamin combination sound like it is worth a try. Do you know if these dosages of the vitamins interfere with any food or medication?

I wanted to ask John who requested the vitamins for hairloss whether he is diagnosed with alopecia areata or is it male pattern baldness. My son is diagnosed with alopecia areata, and he has lost approximately 25% if his hair from ear to ear. Can you please reply and let me know if it would benefit this disorder.

For applying tea tree oil and lavender oil to the scalp, how much do you need? Is it in drops or teaspoon mearsuement? Is it 50/50 of each? I know it is applied once weekly to the scalp. Is any particular brand better?
