Phage Therapy

★★★★★

Phage therapy is the only real way to cure MRSA. Other "remedies" will help to keep the outbreaks under controls, but they will not cure it. There is a large and growing movement among health professionals in the western world to legalize phage therapy, but there is also a lot of resistance because phages can not be patented and patented drugs are part of the business model of western pharmaceutical companies. However, chemical antibiotic therapies stopped working a long time ago and now cause more problems than they solve. It is safe and effective and has been used to treat lots of bacterial infections for almost 100 years. Read about phage therapy. There are many websites that have information.

I learned of this mrsa fighting herbal combo on a fb mrsa support group and it has helped me very much with joint pain fatigue and lesson breakouts substantially. I've been taking for three weeks now I noticed improving condition at the end of first week..

The combo is e tea capsules or essiac tea, natural fiber pill, red clover pill, colostrum pill..taken three times a day..I take the fiber in pill form but the e tea, red clover, colostrum I make a tea out of I add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, a drop of thieves oil, a drop of oregano oil, as much honey, black strap molasses as I want, a dash of black pepper, coconut oil a little blop, and almond or cashews milk..and drink it day and night..

I weakened mrsa mixing many natural cures and rotating them like raw living garlic eating and adding to bath, urine therapy, essential oils geranium, oregano, tea tree, thieves, lavrndar, colidiol silver taken inside n out, a nettie pot I use daily with natural remedy inside like distilled water colidiol silver or essential oil and urine or garlic water ect... inside, 75% raw vegan diet, drinking distilled water a gallon a day, vitamin c, e, b complex the kind you drop under the toung, biotin, trace mineral, kelp, spirilina, magnesium, e, d3, probiotic, giving up soap..I avoid soap on my skin I use a little Dr Brunner pepper ment or black seed soap on my smelly parts n hair..the rest of my body I rub with urine and rinse with plain water....lol..I'm so much better the doctors were useless n rude and even the nice ones could not help me ..I was being eaten alive inside n out I felt like I was dying..

I'm much better now..I feel better than I've felt in years..the mrsa grows weaker as I grow stronger..I cannot possibly do all of the above every day but I do some of all of the above every day and I rotate treatment. I'm not cured yet but I'm much much better ..also cleaning with borox and distilled viniger dishes laundry everything. I got worse before I got better but when I got better I got much better..also get a spray bottle n spray whole body with natural potions daily..mine has distilled water essential oils, colidiol silver and some times urine.

When I had mrsa I had no idea what a boil even looked like. I had it confused with acne and so I didn't know what was happening - a gal I worked with told me. I googled like crazy and bleach saved me. I had a huge hot swollen boil in my thigh bigger than a half dollar. 8 could feel it's heat through jeans!

I put bleach on it. I bathed in a bathtub with half a cup of bleach in it. I bleached my white clothes and used hot water and white vinegar on the others.

local raw honey in the wound(didn't know about Manuka then... it's far superior). Tumeric milk drinks.

I changed my pants every day (boils were located on buns and thigh). Never reused a towel. Washed sheets a few times a week in hot water and bleach (invest in white cotton).

If you can still find concentrated old fashioned Lysol that is the bomb to kill the staph in your home.

2 years later when suffering hyper thyroid I got a boil on my chin and my breast. Profylactuc antibiotics from my surgery brought the to a head. However the honey healed them with no scar.

I used honey in my nostrils each night for 30 days... like they recommend with antibiotic ointments. However I used a us pharmacy brand Manila wound gel style. It is amazing and less than $10 for a tube that lasts forever.

I wish I had know about grapefruit seed extract then ... it cured my mastitis in 24 hours and cured my uti last week.

Kefir
Posted by Tanya (Australia) on 02/12/2017

Hi

Are you still using kefir regime? How has your MRSA been? I have a 7 year old son who gets terrible boils every month and I am desperate to cure him of them. They have also spread through our family. So far we have not been diagnosed with MRSA, but the Infectious Diseases specialist thinks that we have PVL positive Staph Aureus which is just a step down from MRSA. The whole family have taken a course of really hard core antibiotics and decolonised ourselves, but it has now come back after 7 months free of them! My 7 year old has had two big painful boils in 3 weeks! I really want to cure this now and prevent it becoming MRSA! I've just bought Manuka honey medicream today and ordered water kefir grains tonight. Any ideas would be very much appreciated! Thank you :-)

Nothing has helped my terrible case of mrsa more than urine therapy..I treat myself inside and out with it .I use other natural cures as well like garlic probiotic vitamin c essential oils h2o2 ect..but nothing I have found has made the anxiety and depression go away but urine. It also stops mrsa pain instantly and nothing kills a mrsa boil faster than urine..I drink it, I bathe in it, I soak my infection in it nothing has helped me more..

I find raw living garlic in tangent with urine works best I pee in an old glass pickle jar let it sit all day sometimes several days then crushed raw garlic added to it to soak and clean infection it works better than anything else I've tried..

If you are fighting mrsa I highly recommend it.

MRSA Boils itchy red bumps

A comment on Kim's Water Kefir and Turmeric Curcuma: BOILS, INFECTIONS, ZITS.

I really like the inexpensive nature of Kefir Probiotics and still powerful at the same time.

I don't know what I have but they are painful little boils and little itchy red bumps. Maybe I have some kind of staff infection or, yes, maybe it's the dreaded MRSA. Anyway, I do like learning about new things that can help. Thank you, Kim.

HERE'S MY STORY:

I'm 65 now. I get the boils on my arms, butt, legs, knees, neck. It seems I've had this on and off for most of my life, but a whole lot more in the last couple of years. The skin on and around the small boils would get really hard too. {Maybe somebody knows what that's all about, I sure don't} At any rate, I'd pick one and 5 more would pop up around the area, that didn't seem good to me at all. That's why I say things were getting worse. I started to search in real earnest on the net.

Once I started my routine, within a week things started shaping up. The boils started drying up and by two weeks all was moving along quite nicely and in 30 days they were pretty much all cleared up.

So what did I do? It fights infection anywhere in the body.

3 Times a Day {this is really important especially in the beginning.}

1. Curcuma 1 level tsp.

2. Black pepper 1 level tsp.

3. Water (filtered or whatever of course) 16 oz. They say you need lots of water. At least that's what I read.

4. Oil 1 tbs. (Coconut, Olive, Lard, Butter real not the fake).

Since this is a lot of liquid, personally I'd recommend taking it 30 minutes before eating so as not to dilute your digestive juices.

The doc will tell you to cut down on the fat. Yes, by all means do that if you want Alzheimer's. Your brain is mostly fat. No fat - no brain. Of course, everyone is going to do pretty much what they want on this one anyway.

A plug for water: Drink at least one large glass every morning on awakening.

A comment on what Kim said that she had tried turmeric and it didn't work. Exactly what you did with the turmeric Kim, you didn't say. {Turmeric, yellow curry powder, is the plant; Curcumin, orange, is the extract or active ingredient from the plant, also a powder} Some say that one is better than the other. Turmeric has all the properties of the plant: Curcumin is more powerful with the highest amount of the active ingredient. At least that's what I got from the net. It's your call what you will use.}

This is what I found out about the use of either one. By themselves they are both really, really good, however, used with black pepper, which contains piperine… is a natural substance that enhances the absorption of curcumin by 2000% - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9619120 I think you will find the study is still posted there.

Then I found out that Curcumin is fat soluble. Since I realllllly wanted this to work and work now I figured I'd add some oil/fat to the mix, that's noted above.

After 90 days on the above regimen I still take a maintenance dose once a day, I don't want this stuff to come back that's for sure.

All this worked so well that about 30 days ago I saw three girls in a convenience store and one of them had plenty of zits on her face. I told her my story and suggested she try it too. After two weeks she was really happy and after 30 days she had only one lone zit left. She's quite delighted for leaning about this natural remedy. There's another girl I saw today and told her about it. We'll see what happens with her.

All I can say is, Thank you everyone that posts here. As well as a huge thanks to EarthClinic.com

Best hopes and wishes to all of you.

Mark

I've had recurrent MRSA boils all over my thighs and butt after my first delivery, I've visited several doctors, tried soaps and creams and antibiotics, u name it, it just kept spreading, finally I decided to use olive oil, just ordinary cooking olive oil, everyday I took off my clothes and rubbed the olive oil all over my thighs and lower body, I did that for almost five days or a week and to my surprise, all of the pimples disappeared and never showed again, this was ten years ago.

I hope this helps.

In 2013 the mother of my wife became infected with MRSA after bowel surgery. Antibiotics weren't working at all, and she couldn't eat proper without vomiting. I gave her a multi-strain probiotic consisting of more than 10 strains plus FOS (Fructooligosaccharides) and she was healed within 1 to 2 days and could resume eating as normal.

Ingredients of the supplement: **

FOS (Fructooligosaccharides) 50 mg *
ConcenTrace® Trace Mineral Complex
(from the Great Salt Lake, 72 naturally occurring minerals, plus other minerals found in seawater) 12.5 mg *
Bifidobacterium longum 430 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus acidophilus 430 million viable organisms† *
Bifidobacterium bifidum 180 million viable organisms† *
Bifidobacterium breve 180 million viable organisms† *
Bifidobacterium lactis 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus brevis 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus bulgaricus 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus casei 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus helveticus 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus plantarum 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus rhamnosus 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactobacillus salivarius 180 million viable organisms† *
Lactococcus lactis 180 million viable organisms† *
Streptococcus thermophilus 180 million viable organisms† *
Bifidobacterium infantis 90 million viable organisms† *

** Not listing the manufacturer product name of course. The original product isn't sold in the exact same formulation anymore, and is now a 16 strain product. The original had 15 strains (they have since added Lactobacillus reuteri). Pretty sure I have the correct ingredients here but this was a few years ago... If I am mistaken then the other possibility is that it was a multi-strain SBO Probiotic (containing soil based organisms).

Hope this helps someone!

Hi Wanda,

I read your post about the MRSA and was wondering if the info posted by P. Raghaven concerning how the probiotics in milk kefir can kill MRSA would be of help? Here is the Pub Med study on this:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20116228

P. Raghaven told how the milk kefir could eradicate MRSA and could stop Type II diabetes in people here on EC.

Here are the posts from P. Raghavan on Earth Clinic on how the probiotics in milk kefir kill the MRSA bacteria.

You can easily make your own from milk kefir grains and see if the MRSA is killed. Best wishes for improved health.

I got the MRSA due to colonization as I am allergic to all antibiotics for MRSA. I am also colonized with Pseudomonas and two others. I have never had it on my skin. I do not know how that got added to my post. Sorry about that.

I have several other serious medical issues and often come to this website which is, in my opinion, one of the very best! The people here give some of the best info one can get anywhere and I and many others appreciate you for this. I am in my 70's and have had these infections for 30 years now.

Pulmonary Fibrosis along with asthma, copd, and heart problems inc. open heart surgery, colon cancer surgery with 1/2 removed, and many other surgeries including a hysterectomy with removal of an 8 pound fibroid tumor and other surgeries over the years.

I do use tea tree oil in Shampoo which I use in my nose around 3 times a week or more. Can not use much as it will burn the skin. That is how they can tell if you are colonized is testing the nose.

I got this while a patient in the hospital. I was in ICU and was intubated and left on respirator/ventilator for 21 days with drs refusing to protect my airway by traching me as they insisted I could not possible live.

However, I lived. My trachea grew totally together with scar tissue.

I do take the Oil of Oregano Super Strength 4 drops a day in Orange Juice as the MRSA makes me sick quite often.

Thanks to all who offer info about their experiences for it is wonderful to find these things that help those who search for cures to help themselves or family members and friends. wanda

Colloidal Silver

Posted to give hope to those who are suffering from MRSA and considering colloidal silver as a treatment...

In April 2015 my partner was infected with MRSA during an impacted wisdom tooth removal by a dentist in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Within 2 weeks the infection had produced “clusters” of abscesses all along the gum line, right where the dentist had gashed the gum with the extracted tooth during the procedure. The whole right side of the face had swollen and all the teeth along the right jaw were loosened. She described the pain as “shooting, ” with immense pressure and heat. There were times where the pain were so unbearable for her she'd lose all reason and logic and talk of suicide to end the pain.

The situation worsened over the following months, despite taking Clindamycin and Vancomycin consistently, nothing worked, instead it got much worse. In what seemed to be a violent reaction to the antibiotics, 2 abscesses freakishly changed direction. The one at the extraction site headed towards the inner ear, creating intense pressure and pain, forcing blood and infected tissue through to the ear canal. The other abscess, which was at the site of the gash on the gum line, turned downwards in direction to come to a head near the chin. At this point, the infection had developed into osteomyelitis, where fragments of jagged jaw bone started protruding from several areas. Each had to be painfully extracted.

After 8 months, we were nearing the point of losing all hope of saving her jaw as this thing continued to devour bone and muscle tissue. By this time, we were trying combinations of antibiotics and using essential oils and extracts in an attempt to broaden the spectrum. Made no difference. Doctors and dentists now suggesting invasive bone transplant.

Our luck turned around when a friend told us how colloidal silver cleared a MRSA infection in his knee, and that there were a group of people in Cambodia researching it. So with nothing left to lose, we managed to locate and make contact - and after hearing out our situation, they said they would be more than happy to send us some to try, at no charge.

The concentration of the CS given was 60 ppm. Given the gravity of the situation we decided to use it at this full strength. 250 ml FOUR TIMES PER DAY. Right on the hour, every 8 hours. Also continued to take antibiotic cocktail, to make sure.

On day 3: Health worsened dramatically. We were forewarned about this reaction. Complained of intense body aches and sweats. So something was happening… These symptoms lasted for 8 days.

On day 15: The nasty abscess on the chin had finally stopped discharging and showed signs of regeneration. Swelling of face reduced significantly. Gum tissue infection reduced as well. Teeth are no longer loose. Ear infection clear. RESULTS.

It was by day 23 that the infection totally cleared. We then reduced the daily amount to 250 ml ONCE PER DAY to help regenerate lost tissue, especially in the gum line where the jawbone had been exposed.

Right now, all that's left is a small scar with a slight indentation on the right side of the chin- a massive improvement from the big gaping hole that was once there for 8 MONTHS.

So this is a YEA for colloidal silver, in this case combined with antibiotics, against the most aggressive of staph infections. Another YEA for the kindness of strangers who, if it weren't for them, who knows what would've happened? The recovered patient now has an unshakable belief that the CS saved her life and not one person could ever convince her otherwise.

Almost forgot to name the other things patient had taken as well as the CS and antibiotics:

Essential oils: Lemongrass, Oregano, Frankincense, Clove, Tea Tree, Kampot Pepper

Spices: Clove, Turmeric, Garlic

Other: Ice and heat packs.

Will edit and update this list if I can recall anything else.

Peace everyone!

Don't Use Soap
Posted by Kglaser (Lincoln, Nebraska) on 02/16/2016
★★★★★

Try not using soap, and put nothing else on your skin, unless you have to use a natural lotion to stop itching due to shaving. I've had mild, recurrent, MRSA for years. I started taking probiotics and that helped a lot. But my skin didn't completely clear up until I stopped washing my skin with soap. Any kind of soap. A research article I found goes more into depth about the skin's natural antimicrobial lipids. When you wash away those oils, you wash away your skin's natural antimicrobial defense system. Once or twice a week, take a warm ( not hot) bath or shower. I would recommend just washing your "peri-area" and your armpits with a natural soap, and just let water wash the rest, and then pat dry.

I will post the article link below. http://www.jlr.org/content/49/1/4.full.pdf+html

I am colonized with MRSA and I have been struggling with recurring skin lesions for 10+ years. I have recently found that Dead Sea magnesium oil has had a profound effect. My back has been covered with staph pimples for a few years (I am 40 years old). I have never had back acne previously and nothing I tried worked. I just happened to use the magnesium oil for a sore muscle and found that, the next day, the pimples were reduced. I have continued to use it almost daily for the past two weeks and I only have a few random spots left.

If you try it, be aware that it may itch the first few times you use it. Also, if you have any open areas it will burn. I hope this helps!

I'm suffering, yet again, from mrsa. I thought if was a bug bit but went to the doctors and they told me it was staph. Yesterday, 10-2-2015, she drained it. Today it was much worse so I went back and she switched me to clindamyacin, from doxy. I heard garlic and turmeric are great to get rid of mrsa. How do I use these though? Can I take a garlic supplement or use fresh garlic in a smoothie? Also, if these do not work when should and how do I apply garlic to the wound? It's still very sore and open. Picture attached. I would really appreciate anyone's stories and help!

Kefir

Editor's Choice

After battling MRSA for over 3 years now, I have tried Minocycline, Doxycycline, Clindamycin, Rifampin, Hibacleanse, bleach baths, Bactriban, mega doses of turmeric, garlic baths, garlic pills, garlic cream, mega doses of niacin amide, topical manuka honey, silver gel, silver solution, daily laundering of all bedding... The list goes on. Needless to say, as everyone who has ever dealt with MRSA can attest to, it has been extremely frustrating and depressing not to get rid of these painful boils and little itchy red bumps that always appear and take forever to get rid of. It's especially debilitating when these cover your face, neck, and arms. You feel like you have leprosy. So, after trying all of these "remedies" to no avail, I started making my own water Kefir ( a Probiotic) . I ordered 2 tablespoons of water Kefir grains on Amazon.

Step 1: I warmed up 4 cups of spring water ( chlorine and fluoride in tap water will kill the Kefir grains.

Step 2: I add 1/4 cup of dark brown sugar ( use this because the Kefir needs minerals and sugar to grow), and stirred until dissolved.

Step 3: Put the sugar water and kefir grains in a jar, secure the top with a coffee filter and rubber band, place in a warm dark place for 24-48 hours.

Step 4: Strain the kefir grains out.

Drink the probiotic water you now have, and start all over again from step 1.

The results are almost immediate. My boils and sores just start disappearing and drying up. I also put the kefir water in a spray bottle and spray it on my skin, and I put it in a nasal spray bottle and spray it up my nose. I have been doing this for about 2 weeks now and as long as I drink it daily, my skin stays clear. I'm hoping that by doing this daily for a few months, the MRSA will be gone for good.

I will add some research articles supporting the evidence that shows kefir kills MRSA and destroys the biofilms.

I was diagnosed with MSSA (methicillin susceptible strains). I'm told it is slightly less serious than MRSA. Doctors freaked me out a little by saying I must go on antibiotics and use antibiotic cream topically. I said NO and proceeded to do a ton of research. This site was very helpful. My "rash" was severe, legs, arms and back. Itching was almost too much. I tried many protocols but finally found what is working for the extend of this rash.

After four weeks of experimenting this is what I found. Everything I wear, sleep on and all towels get washed and bleached ( if possible) every day. Hot dryer afterward.

After awakening, I smash about 8-9 cloves garlic and let them sit for an hour. I take supplements, tumeric, colloidal silver, olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed capsules, Himalayan sea salt capsules. Then into a tepid bath with garlic and 8 oz of hydrogen peroxide (35% food grade). I stay in for at least one hour and if possible another half hour. Pat myself dry and smear on manuka honest. This I leave on for one hour. Then wash off and put on coconut oil. More supplements at noonish and evening after which I do the garlic, peroxide bath again, honey and coconut oil.

I was doing the bath only once a day and was not getting good results but twice a day has reall shown progress. I think if I could add more peroxide, I would have even better results but for me it was a comfort level. The honey helps with toning down the itching. I have been sleeping all night most nights and I'm thankful for that. Seeing progress now.

I've been dealing with MRSA for almost two years but didn't know it. After going to a dermatologist with a small crusty itchy spot on my ankle, I was diagnosed with squamous and had MOHs surgery to remove. Shortly after, I had more sores pop up on both legs. I decided to try black salve and this seemed to work for a short while but is a difficult treatment and really didn't stop the spread. Then went to a new doctor and she thought the sores had a lymphodemic look. I was now scared I had lymphatic cancer.

I totally changed my diet. No gluten, organic raw diet and worked with herbal supplements both the ground herbs in capsules and tinctures. Lost all bloating and some weight but the sores kept multiplting. My doctor wanted a diagnosis so I went to a dermatologist who told me I had dermatitis!!! Wanted me to take prednisone. I refused and went to another dermatologist who told me I had Prurigo Nodularis. Wanted me to do a course of antibiotics. I refused but asked him to swab the sores and get a real determination. Several days later I received a call that I had MRSA. He insisted I take antibiotics. I refused. By this time I had a severe form of MRSA which is on both legs, upper and lower and both arms, back and chest.

I immediately began to research and am now finding relief from.

1) installed an alkaline water filter and began drinking lots of water.

2) I'm taking H2O2 35% a half cup in bath at night and after applying Manuka honey to all affected areas.

3) also Oregano oil rubbed in in the morning And 5 drops in water ingested.

4) ingesting optimized Curcumin capsules.

5) taking a probiotic

6) also ingesting a liquid liposomal Glutathione. I also use an EV coconut oil on my skin and in my food.

After four days, the itching is much improved and the sores are half and don't appear as deep. I'm sleeping through the night which is huge. I will add turmeric and hope it all works.

The best OTC product I know of for treating Mrsa Topically is TECNU First aid Gel. It works better than anything else and I have tried hundreds of products -- practically everything you can think of or have ever heard of. Tecnu First aid gel has benzethonium 0.20% (maximum strength allowed by the FDA) *Kills MRSA topically in 15 seconds* Tecnu also has Tea Tree oil and Lidocaine 2.5%to numb help as an anesthetic. It is no cure for certain, but it is helpful and will also help with the ungodly pain associated with the boils etc. You are on the right track by keeping your nose clean ;)

Someone in health sciences told me it can take up to 36 months for MRSA to exit the system. I had an initial infection last August, and treated successfully for that, but at length and with a good deal of discomfort, using iodine, hydrogen peroxide, honey and turmeric.

While I was suffering, I read about the effectiveness of blue light in the visible frequency (non-ultraviolet) of 405-475nm on MRSA in vitro. I ordered a hand held light from a manufacturer on AliBaba. It arrived after the infection cleared.

However I had a chance recently to use it and it has been 100% effective. When I feel a boil beginning to sprout, when it is still just an itchy red bump, I hit it with 12 minutes of blue light.

In almost every case 12 minutes is enough, even if the boil has erupted. Itching and pain subsides, if there is a head forming it is cleared, and redness resolves within a couple of days.

Some are a little more stubborn and require more than a single 12-minute hit. I will hit a lesion two or three times - the worst one needed 5 hits, each one day apart.

Amazing - the lesion clears and when the skin finally resolves it eventually sloughs off to reveal the pit where the bacteria lived.

Have had a kind of a rash of these small boils since the warm weather started but everything is under control. If you need to find a blue light google "acne light" or "Blue light 405nm".

DMSO, Tea Tree, Neosporin, Sunlight for MRSA on Breast

I had a large, craterous, ulcerous, MRSA on my breast. Sick of reg Drs.- they haven't helped me in 10 years. I sought out a natural cure. I put DMSO creme on it then a band aid for a few hours. Then I put silver gel on it. contains real silver, also the band aid for a few hours, then I put tea tree oil and neosporin on it and a bandaid for a few hours. The next morning I exposed the area to bright direct sunlight (per my daughter's suggestion) The sunlight seemed to work the best- surprisingly! After 15 minutes of exposure it was 50% less redness around it. I did this every day and in a week and a half it was completely cleared up! I cannot take credit for the ointments protocol, I found that on a review on amazon. I think modern medicine is ridiculous in that we have to find our own remedies, whatever they gave me gave me bad side effects without helping the problem!

If you will search on YouTube there are videos using Hemp Oil, Own Human Urine, to reverse gangrene successfully. I have come across them but have no notes.

Allopaths are eager to take limbs and organs when they don't know anything but natural medicine works wonders. Hang in there and keep your leg!

All the best, Namaste, Om
