We're thrilled to announce the addition of a new bell notifications icon 🔔 to our website. This feature is designed for the convenience of our logged-in desktop viewers. We'll be adding this new feature for mobile phones early next week. For now, it is available to desktop users who are logged in to Earth Clinic. The new icon is located at the top of the page, right next to the subscribe and shop options. 🔔

With this update, you can now quickly and easily see any replies to your posts on the website. This means no more worrying about missing notifications via email. You'll see a number displayed next to the icon for any new replies.

Make sure to check out this new feature by clicking on the bell!

We are excited to share that we have implemented a new search tool that we believe functions better than Google Search. While Google does an excellent job indexing pages and posts, its interface can be cluttered and confusing.

We invite you to test our new search tool and provide us with your feedback. If you are not satisfied with the results, we have included a link where you can use Google Search instead.

Virus Alert

Very Important!!!!!

I was reading on melatonin and Art's comments. At the end of the page there was a green box that said continue. I hit that and got a giant virus .... You gotta get that off your site. I've seen it in other places on your site.

EC: Jeff,

Thank you so much for reporting a Google ad that looks like Earth Clinic's green "NEXT" button that we have at the end of every page. Our programmer found the ad in question, and we immediately blocked it and separately reported it to Google Ads as a scam. We've seen this button on many other sites recently, so everyone needs to be aware of this scam.

If you click on the green "CONTINUE" button on that particular Google ad (it has a Google ad logo at the top right), it takes you to https://ushistoricalneto.co/. If you click on the next button on that URL, it causes fake virus warnings to pop up all over the place. They are fake warnings, so if you just close the window, you're fine. They're trying to get you to call a supposed Windows support hotline, which is actually a scam debt collectors window. See a report on this phone number: https://lookup.robokiller.com/p/833-463-1007

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

We mentioned this months ago, but we've been so busy with other EC projects, our habitat section has been progressing rather slowly. However, the section is now live with a few new articles and our mission statement.

Here are the first 3 articles to show you how this new section is going to look. We will expand it to not just wildlife, but trees, plants, flowers, and even probably fungi eventually! We want to provide beneficial information about how to help each species best, starting with your backyard.

We have A TON of great replies to questions on Earth Clinic's answers.earthclinic.com site so I have recently decided to start duplicating/reposting some of these fabulous posts that I come across during the day on the main site, so more people can find them.

You'll see them pop up on the Latest Posts page. They will have old dates on them (like the two just below this one on muscle cramps and sprains). Just FYI when you see them.

Hello everyone, just wanted to give you a heads up that today we are upgrading the navigation menu at the top for our desktop users. Instead of the horizontal line of titles under the Earth Clinic logo, you will click on the large 3 line icon on the top left side. From there, you will find the same sections but in bigger font, and MUCH EASIER to read.

The new clean logo area before you click on the 3 blue bars on the left.

The menu that pops up after you click on that button.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but we made a slight adjustment to our design earlier today, which has unfortunately disrupted the layout on the first page of each ailment section. This issue does not affect subsequent pages (pages 2 and onwards). For an optimal viewing experience, we recommend using your mobile device to access the EC pages until we resolve this problem by the end of the weekend. Thank you for your understanding!

Issues Neeing Fixing

Thanks, Art. Our fabulous programmer just added something to catch and flag a small font on a post. Hopefully, that will fix the issue in future posts. A smaller font typically happens if someone copies and pastes a sentence from another website or document. If you don't use Control SHIFT Paste, it will copy the code from the other source, sometimes causing an issue on the Earth Clinic side.

Hi EC!

When on the EC website on my iPhone, pressing the "Like" button (the heart) on posts removes prior "likes". The "Like" button works fine on a computer. Probably just a slight difference between platform code. Thanks!

Issues Needing Fixing

I have frequently been rerouted to an add that takes up the entire page when clicking on links. is this specifically a google issue?

EC: Hi Diane and anyone else experiencing this issue,

So sorry about this.

We are working to fix this issue and contacted Google a couple of days ago about it as well since none of our current fixes are working. It is only an issue for Safari browser users on desktop computers. If you have another browser on your computer like Firefox, try that one... you won't have an issue. We'll keep working on it until it gets figured out.
