Erectile Dyfuction: The amino acid Arginine with Horny Goat Weed works. Start out with 2 1000 mg of Arginine and 2 500 mg of HGW daily. Work up to more if necessary. Kick in a little Cayenne for good measures.

Arginine with NAC is more effective than arginine alone for lowering blood pressure. For people with herpes or certain viruses, arginine may exacerbate the condition and cause outbreaks or feed an existing outbreak.

I've been taking L-Arginine for years. It's a vasodilator. Dilates your blood vessels to increase your blood flow. Lowers blood pressure and sends more blood to your manhood. It works. It's in all the men's sex products. I take 3 grams a day when I take it. Probably caution if you have heart problems. Citruline is a similar product. Check with your nearest health food store.

Wikipedia lists the following warnings for Arginine, so I will be scared to use it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arginine

Possible increased risk of death after supplementation following heart attack

A clinical trial found that patients taking an L-arginine supplement following a heart attack found no change in the heart's vascular tone or decrease in the symptoms ofcongestive heart failure (the heart's ability to pump). In fact, six more patients who were taking L-arginine died than those taking a placebo resulting in early termination of the study with the recommendation that the supplement not be used by heart attack patients. [16][17][18] These findings suggest L-arginine is not beneficial post-heart-attack.

[edit]Lung inflammation and asthma

The Mayo Clinic web page on L-arginine reports that inhalation of L-arginine can increase lung inflammation and worsen asthma. [19]
