An Earth Clinic reader reports that topical application of Lugol's Iodine, shrank his wife's lipoma.
Lugol's Iodine for a Lipoma Instructions
Use only lugol's iodine and not another type of iodine. Lugol's comes in 3% and 5% bottles. Amazon will not allow sellers to post 5% concentrations on its site, but you can easily find 2% and 3% lugol's online.
The stronger the percentage of lugol's the less you need. Even though the Earth Clinic poster did not specify the concentration, we're guessing he used 3% Lugol's Iodine.
Apply a couple of drops of lugol's to your lipoma.
Caution: Lugol's Iodine will stain! Be very careful applying the drops of lugol's. Wait until it dries before putting on clothes.
Apply the tincture twice a day.
