Miracle oil for Rectal Mass Tumors in Dogs

My 15 pound male Shi-Tzu mix, Mr. B., who will be 17 years old on his next birthday, was diagnosed with Benign Rectal Mass Tumors about 10 years ago. I had seen them on his anus even three or four years prior but they were small and I thought they were scar tissue from a previous surgery on his anal glands so I didn't follow up. A new vet we saw for regular care, diagnosed them as Benign Rectal Mass Tumors when Mr. B was in for a routine visit. Dr. A, removed the tumor taking approximately 25% of the anal ring with it and explaining that if it ever recurred, removal would most likely cause fecal incontinence.

Within five years he did indeed suffer a recurrence and the tumor grew to be an external protrusion about the size of a golf ball. Several veterinarians I consulted, while desperately seeking a remedy, informed me that the tumor was too large to remove and that it would eventually block his rectum and stop his ability to defecate and I would have to have him put down. This little dog is my life and I was not willing to allow that to happen without exhausting every possible effort to heal him. About that time I found a book at Natural Grocer's on the wonders of Castor Oil for my self and was surprised to find that it has been shown to be effective on tumors. After researching further I began to use a rubber glove to put the oil on Mr. B's large ugly anal tumor every day. It began to continuously shed a layer of bloody mucus and for a while it was difficult because of the mess. I had to cover furniture and bedding with sheets to prevent everything from getting soiled with the mess. However, the tumor stopped growing and after about a year of using pure castor oil, and dealing with the mess, the tumor developed a pit in one side and began to drain an unpleasant smelling fluid. Fearing that I may be causing him unnecessary pain, as he began to lick it intently several times a day, I continued to research other oils and I decided to do some experimenting. I mixed:

1 Tablespoon of Pure Castor Oil (Very important to buy hexane free Castor oil)

1 Tablespoon of Virgin Coconut oil, and

1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive oil together. I stored it in the refrigerator and used the mix up about every 3-4 weeks with daily application using a small amount each day on a gloved finger to coat the tumor.

My thinking after much meditation on the study I'd been doing was that the Castor oil by itself was very effective but may be causing the discomfort my buddy was experiencing and I wondered if mixing these three oils might make it gentler, and possibly even more effective as each have unique healing properties of their own when used separately. Sure enough, the constant draining and sloughing of the tumor slowed down, my buddy seemed more comfortable and I had less mess to contend with. I researched the healing and anti-inflammatory properties of Turmeric and found a formula for Golden Paste (find the recipe in the FaceBook Users group called Turmeric User's Group (TUG). You will have to join this user group (free) to get the recipe but it is well worth it to read the anecdotal experiences and research presented on the uses of Turmeric.

After researching this, I decided that the anti-inflammatory qualities of Turmeric would be a good addition to my 3 oil blend, so I cooked the Golden Paste, following their recipe to the letter, and then took a tablespoon of my 3 oil mix and mixed it with a tablespoon of the golden paste and began using that for the daily application, remixing fresh as I used it up in small daily applications. Within a few months the tumor was no longer visible from the outside... remember it was a golf ball sized ugly red mass before.

My vet was amazed as she and the Consulting Vet they had referred me to, had basically told me this condition was going to kill him. Once she saw how the tumor had shrunk, she actually asked me for the recipe so that she could give it to several of her other dog patient/owners who also had inoperable Benign Rectal Mass Tumors. She calls Mr. B her miracle dog now when we visit. Recently an exam revealed that the tumor has grown again inside and he has had some difficulty in defecating again. So, I have begun his treatment again on a daily basis. I had slipped out of the daily routine and was only applying it on occasion when I thought of it and this may explain his recurrence. Now I'm back to every day and hoping for the same results again.

I believe this 3 oil blend, that I call my Miracle Oil, may benefit other dogs with tumors so wanted to share my anecdotal evidence. Of course I am not a Veterinarian, and I offer this only for information of an Educational nature and I assume no responsibility or liability in the use of this information. Anecdotally, and objectively, I can tell you that the tumor disappeared from view while I was using this oil on the tumor daily with the golden paste. There are undoubtedly those who will say it was coincidental, they may be right but my dog is alive five years after I was told I'd soon have to put him to death. That is enough for me. I know that much research on other dogs with these tumors must be done to definitively prove that this oil blend was what did the trick but I will continue to use it until that research is done. It is a cheap effort to save one that you love and clearly has done no harm in my case. Of course, each dog owner must accept responsibility for how they treat their pets and the problems they have but this has been very useful to me. Also, please note, that while my vet was very supportive of my trying anything, since they had no solutions they could apply, I would never suggest that this or any other natural, or home remedy, should exclude regular consults with a qualified Veterinarian, I can say I'm glad I didn't let my little buddy die several years ago when they gave him no hope.

He has now also developed a fatty tumor on his belly and I am rubbing the three oil blend without the turmeric golden paste onto this fatty mass daily. No change yet but I'm hopeful.

Just today my cat was diagnosed with a Fibrosarcoma. The vet says it is an invasive malignant tumor that would be impossible to completely remove in our case. She offered little hope from a surgical standpoint but I began treating him with pure castor oil as soon as we got home a few hours ago and will apply twice daily until I begin to see results. The pure Castor Oil is what I'll use for the time being until I see results. Eventually the 3 blend may be something I'll switch to but I'm not willing to give up as easily as that on my cat friend either. I'll post an update in the future on the cat's progress.

I saved my cat and gave him 3 years of quality life using Dexomethosone (powerful steroid) and strong CBD oil dosages, plus saline sub Q every day for 3 months. The emergency vets told me he was in kidney failure, with a Bun/Cr. of 6. Slowly over the next few months of prayer and treatment, that Bun/Cr dropped to? 2!!! 2 is high normal function for an old cat. I knew he'd eventually hit the wall, but with fluids and love that cat got 3 years of quality life. Shortly after we moved to Florida, he got worse and started down hill I believe he had contracted something outside bacterial that finished his heart and kidneys off. The vet here would not treat him as my old vet with the Dexomethsone, Abx and CBD. I think we could have recovered him had I started treatment in Nov. when he first showed issues. Nonetheless, he did get 3 years of life and the vets were astounded at his numbers AND the fact he didn't go on to develop kidney cancer till the very end... they told me I'd put him into remission WITHOUT using harsh chemos. Since that time I've learned of Fenbendazole, Curcumin, and CBD oil being used for cancer cure... see Joe Tippens....

My dear cat, an eight year old male, who was my baby, was diagnosed in November of oral squamous cell carcinoma. I had known many people who had faced this with their cats and even with the help of many dollars and chemo, etc. the cats all had a horrible death. I was devastated. My cat was never exposed to any toxins, wasn't given vaccines because he was strictly indoors with me, and I had only ever fed him a nutritionally complete raw food diet which he never turned his nose up at. He was the picture of health. I tried using MMS and DMSO every hour 8-10 times a day for three months. It did nothing. I think I was most bitter because so many "testimonials" indicated it usually works. I will say, that for those three months, he seemed like he had a great quality of life except for the fact that the last two months, the tumor around his tongue and down his throat was so large that he could not keep his tongue in his mouth and it was a struggle for him to eat. There was also blood tinged mucous everywhere. But he never had bad breath or many of the horrible symptoms I had been told of. Right up until 12 hours before we euthanized him, he seemed he was pushing himself to be the best he could be and enjoying life as much as he ever did. He suddenly could not breathe and there was so much mucous coming from his mouth. He also didn't want to be near us. From what I have read, living with this condition for three months is a long time. So, maybe the protocol helped him live longer, but it didn't slow the growth of that horrible tumor. I mixed up the MMS and the DMSO separately and applied it to his food each day 8-10 times (small meals) every day. I wish there was a clue as to why this very aggressive cancer is taking the lives of so many cats and dogs!

I've been applying a mixture of quarter tsp of castor oil, DMSO, 3 or 4 drops of CBD oil and a smidge of turmeric and to the tumor and surrounding area for about 2 weeks. I've also been giving him and my 3 other cats an eighth teaspoon of turmeric, Kidney Restore by Healthy Kidney, Liver and Kidney Support by Mercola, Fermented Foods by Mercola, mushroom blend powder, Digestive Enzymes by NaturVet mixed with a dropperful of Omega-3 Oil supplement and a dropperful of colloidal silver and 2 teaspoons of water mixed into their dried kibble. As a result of that Talker Stalker no longer vomits after meals as he had often done in the past, but his tumor swelling continues to advance down into the foot. I have on order some Essiac Tea and I've been looking around for a halfway affordable frozen raw food for cats but have not yet found it. I sure would welcome suggestions. The vet wants to cut off his leg for $2000. He is still very mobile and can jump down from the top of the Hoosier cabinet to the counter and to the floor without hesitation. He's a great talker and purrer and can still run fast but he's starting to limp and sometimes hold his affected foot up off the floor while sitting.

Mamarottweiler,

For the leg tumor, if you make the mix 50% DMSO and 50% of the 60 ppm CS, you may get better transdermal penetration enhancement into the tumor and DMSO itself has anticancer effects which should offer synergy with the CS.

Mamarottweiler,

I forgot to mention that if he can tolerate melatonin without getting too sleepy, you can dissolve melatonin powder in the DMSO before you mix the DMSO and CS together. Melatonin will dissolve in the pure DMSO and then the CS can be added once the melatonin is dissolved.

Melatonin is a potent anticancer agent through multiple pathways. If it makes him sleepy, you will know that it has gone systemic, which is good if he has cancer elsewhere. Melatonin will also help protect his liver and kidneys from cancer and the negative effects of other substances you are using as well as chemotherapy and radio therapy if needed.

CBD for Pets (Dogs, mostly) with Tumors, Lymphomas, Cancers

I have not seen mention of this on the site for pets with tumors, lymphomas, cancers and such, so I want to include it for reference: do a search on YouTube for "dog lymphoma cbd". You will find many videos from owners who helped their dog (and sometimes cats) by giving them cbd oil.

My 5-year-old Chi was diagnosed with Lymphoma Late December 3rd of November, yes blood tests everything. The vet has been prescribing steroids, I have him on a high-fat low-carb diet, which includes tilapia, turmeric, apples, and coconut oil. He has now started coughing and has what looks like a small hole in one of his tumors. Today is the first time I saw the white stuff with what looked like a tumor root, or a partial, anyway, I saved it to show the vet, yes yucky, lol but have not fed him anything like that in the past few days as I am out of the low fat cottage cheese.

Any help, and yes they reduced somewhat in size also.

Darth Vader's swelling down on one side, I've had to use the syringe to give him the Tumeric, he barely eats the apples anymore I expect it's because of the swollenness of his jaw. He sure wanted a bath tonight though, so he got one. Oh, and the sides are still soft. Which is a good thing.

DMSO and Colloidal Silver
Posted by Art (California) on 01/31/2022 2326 posts

Hi Deirdre,

I am glad to hear that he is doing well!

Have you tried putting your solution on a cotton cloth that has been folded to create 4 or more layers that are similar in size to the area of application, then putting another multilayer cotton cloth over it and wrapping it in place with an Ace wrap for 20 minutes to a half hour? This can increase the active time that the solution is at work and still allow time for the skin to recover between applications.

The second folded cotton cloth is there to help keep the wet pad from drying to fast and to also help prevent the dmso from damaging the elastic Ace wrap.

If you are concerned about the length of time that the dmso will be on his skin and possibly irritating it, just apply your 50/50 mix as usual and as soon as you are done with that application, apply the cloth as I described above, but only wet the folded cotton cloth with colloidal silver and then apply to his skin and secure in place with the Ace wrap for a half hour. Your initial dmso/cs application will leave his skin "open" (skin barrier function perturbed) for up to 15 minutes. Applying the silver only cloth and wrap during this period should allow more silver to reach into the target area for a longer period of time. Leave the wrap in place for a half hour and remove. Keeping the silver cloth wet with CS should increase the effectiveness and the silver is healing to the skin after the dmso application. Good luck!

https://iloveadog.com.au/iodine-and-cancer-a-summary-of-the-evidence

Povodine Iodine you can get 1/2 gal for 20.00 & put it straight on the outside it kills so far down. My Dozzer has a tumor in his testicle that I use it o, & it won' hurt them if they do happen to lick some off for it penetrates the skin so fast if they do it's very little. Kills even MRSA & antibiotic immune Candida, along with almost all negative & positive bacteria. Type 2 Iodine has to be monitored by a Holistic vet but works great on that type of cancer including but not limited to prostrate & mammary glands, breast, etc.

I hope This helps you & your buddy

Castor Oil
Posted by Mama To Many (Tn) on 01/08/2018

Dear Rockel,

I can't point to any research. I don't know that there will be much to be found since castor oil as a cancer treatment won't be profitable enough to have studies funded. From reading of others' experiences it seems that sometimes the castor oil can make the tumor grow (swell, perhaps?) at first and even open up. This can be a problem for some cancers if further growth would affect a nearby nerve or something else. Opening up can cause blood loss.

But that said, I think some might choose it as the best option under certain circumstances.

Essiac tea would be another option to consider.

Hi Mamma for Many

It is a sad day today we lost Jed this morning at 5.00am. But I am certain that what we were giving him really helped he was not in any pain and just went peacefully he was two months off 13. My only regret was that we could have done more if we had know at the time what was out there to help fight his condition tumour /cancer. The only thing we should have done was give him a prescription dog food that is available that is 100% good for your do and cancer can not feed off it. I think it was called Hills Prescription diet N/D. If we had known about this at the start we could have killed the tumour stone dead from the roots out and if it can not feed it can not live. We did not know that everything in the regular dog foods cancer loves and feeds off. But everything else we used of this Fantasic website worked We just did not think about the feeding habits off the tumour. I hope this helps someone else. A big thankyou to Mama for Many. All the best Paul

If I have calculated correctly it is December 23, 2016 and I am now on day 50 minus 10 days that I was off the aloe at first and her tumor/cyst hanging from her body like a plump grape has disappeared. What is left is a dried pea scab that is left to disappear. You can see my post on my cat in the pet section. I found the dried up skin was bleeding and was very concerned and then realized that I was giving her cod liver oil and it is a blood thinner so stopped for a few days and then instead of 3 gel caps I gave her only one. It seems that the bleeding has stopped. Dr. R. McDaniel has provided much needed information about the plant. Here is a link to one of h is interviews. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpywvzRfIL0 There is a company that makes the juice that has left all preservatives out and ships frozen to customers. I watched an interview and he makes sense when he says that preservatives are killers. They kill bacteria so we don't put it into our aloe vera juice. Aloe1 is the brand.

Hello, My 13 year old cat was recently diagnosed with squamous cell of the gums. He had surgery in June to remove most of the mass but the doctor said she could not get it all because of the location (upper gum by canine tooth). I have been giving him essiac with his wet food approx two tablespoons. One in the morning and one in the evening. He is active and eating and drinking regularly. The mass has grown quite large in the original location and gradually has hardened.

Could anyone tell me approx when the tumor should shrink. From most of the posts it happens quite fast but we have been religiously monitoring the growth and it hasn't shrunk, it has only gotten bigger. Also, he seems to be sneezing periodically. Could he be allergic to the herbs in the tea? Any help or suggests would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know about rubbing it on the tumor. The postings did not say that. You may want to re-read the posts. You should give it by mouth. My dog licked it from the bowl but you can add it to yogurt or something else. My dog was about 20 pounds and I gave her a whole dropper full daily for three to four weeks when I noticed that the tumor had pretty much disappeared. Make sure to get the 'berry' oil not the 'seed' oil. While the seed oil might work, I had results from the berry oil. Good luck.

Mammary Gland Tumor Remedies
Posted by Sio99 (New York, Ny) on 09/07/2014

Hi all - thanks in advance for your help. My Lexi developed mammary tumors last December but only showed symptoms recently. I took her to the surgeon who quoted me $3000 to remove them but to be honest I just don't have it. What is happening is they swell up once a week and she is uncomfortable and lethargic. In a couple of days they start to drain through the nipple and she feels great again. What comes out is gross - a sticky white pus, no smell but gross - although I am happy to see it drain. I tried castor oil last night using warm compresses first, then soaking a cotton pad in the oil and putting the warm compress on top. I do want to be sure the castor oil is safe since the nipple drains. I don't want to clog it as I think that may be part of the problem (stick pus clogging it so now I use hydrogen peroxide tto was nightly). I read somewhere castor oil may not be safe so I want to be sure. It is her upper left nipple so she can not reach it to lick off.

Any and all suggestions are great. She is just under 11 and about 9lbs (a yorkie) - and she is an angel.

2 days ago I visited an herbalist in a holistic pet store who I trust - he has been there well over 20 years and is very respected. He is changing her diet - wants her off poultry and beef - and instead instructed me to get down 3 other proteins she will eat. Not appetizing yet but she will get over it. He wants bison, venison, salmon, rabbit, buffalo, lamb, pork or other fish. I am to get him 3 and he will come up w/recipes or a commercial option. He also wants her to fast once a week (which wont bother her at all).

In her food he gave us Gentle Digest Prebiotic and Probiotics, DMG immune strength support drops (N, N-Dimethylglycine (DMG)), Canine Immune System support (ingredients here: too many to post! https://www.standardprocess.com/Products/Veterinary-Formulas/Canine-Immune-System-Support ) and a Chinese herbs formula called Survival which is Frankincense, Zedoria, , Oldenlandia, Curcurma, Lindera, Licorice & Gynostemma which is out of the Connecticut Institute for Herbal Studies. The trick is getting them in her which is NOT going very well, but again she will have to get over it too. I have now realized she knows the word medicine and goes and hides. She is smart!

Thank you all so much!

Castor Oil, Chaga

I have a 12 year old beagle with mammory cancer. The tumour was bigger than a baseball on her lower stomach. I have started putting castor oil on the tumour after applying very warm water to it, 3 times a day. I have also been feeding her a homemade liquid drink called Chaga. Chaga is a tumor on a birch tree. It is cut off the tree with a knife and is black. I boil a piece of Chaga in boiling water, until the water darkens. I store the boiled liquid in a bottle in the fridge, and give her about 3 ounces a day. Can also break up some doggy treats to put in it with a little tumeric spice. She loves it. I believe this restored her health considerably. She was very sick, and now has lots of energy. The tumour is shrinking slowly, however her health in general is back to normal. How ironic, "Tumor growths on the longest living thing on earth could be the answer, and right in your backyard". Won't stop looking for answers until it is gone, and certainly can't afford those outrageous vet bills. Also feed her salmon to give her the Omega 3 required. She really thinks that is a real treat.

The Tumeric you can put right into her food, I wouldn't suggest giving her honey everyday because of the sugar in it. I also used coconut oil in her food as well. The castor oil & tumeric I mixed together to make a paste then I soaked a piece of flannel in it, large enough to cover the tumor, then wrapped over the flannel with some gauze and self adhesive bandage. You have to diligent and do it twice a day. If the tumor is in aspot you can't wrap then apply the paste and leave it, but as soon as you notice the paste has worn off or the dogs has licked it off then apply it again. It doesn't work over night, it took us 2months of applying it and feeding her the tumeric and coconut oil, but now she is tumor free. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

Update: I have been using the turmeric and castor oil paste for nearly four weeks now. In the last day or so, I have added aloe vera to the paste. The tumour is open but no infection and is clean, no smell or weepiness. It looks as if the skin is re-growing and closing the "wound". I use equal parts of turmeric, castor oil and aloe vera in paste (1 teaspoon each) aloe vera is straight from garden and I open leaves and scrape out gel to mix in with the turmeric and castor oil. I couldn't be more happier with the results. EARTH CLINIC: is there any way to put up before and after photos to show people how effective this has been for my dog. And thank you Earth Clinic for this site, it has been invaluable.

My furry boy was just diagnosed with a tumor Friday. It is pressing down on his brain stem. They think it is a Choroid plexus tumor. I have been reading for some kind of help for him and right now am drained. He just turned 9. He is 42 pound dachshund/cocker rescue baby. They put him on Steroids to see if that will help shrink around the tumor. I have been reading things today that say it will actually shrink the tumor. He has had four doses of the Steroid meds and was doing better yesterday. He stayed awake all day and into the late night. Today he is making noises as though he is uncomfortable but yet he likes to go out and walk and is wagging his tail and licking me as he has done. Coconut oil is mentioned, I've read and heard hydrogen peroxide will help. I am now so confused and I feel as though time is not on my side. Can anyone help me with what I can do for him please? Doses etc? As with the peroxide. I don't know how much to give him. Please help? Thank you, CJ

Hydrogen Peroxide, DMSO

Hey Rallau!

Robtyea from Wrightsville, Pa posted on 03/30/2012 - in case s/he doesn't see your message I will offer a reply.

Food grade hydrogen peroxide [H2O2] is a 35% concentration; food grade is the only H2O2 recommended for internal use. Using DMSO - to bring it into the cells - requires food grade H2O2. So please make sure you have the right stuff, as the 3% concentration purchased in the 16 oz brown bottles at the drug store has impurities in the form of stabilizers for added shelf life in it, and you don't want these drawn into the body.

Now, there are many cautions about using straight 35% concentrated food grade H2O2 right out of the bottle; its caustic. If you poke around on the web you will find that a 10% concentration is the highest concentration folks might take orally, and that the stuff beauticians use on your scalp to bleach your hair is a 6% concentration.

And, if you poke around on the web - cancer sites and such - you will read about folks using straight 35% food grade H2O2 right out of the bottle swabbing moles and skin tags and the like; general concensus: its harsh and stings but doesn't eat a hole right through you like hydrochloric acid might.

Now, Robtyea used a 3% mixture of H2O2 to cleanse the area before applying an equal mixture of 35% H2O2 and DMSO to his cat's tumors.

To break that down: Mixing the DMSO and 35% H2O2 in equal parts created a 17% concentration of the H2O2 that was then applied to the tumours.

To make a 3% solution for cleansing from your 35% concentration - take 1 part of the 35% H2O2 and add 12 parts distilled water.

So if you use 1 tablespoon of the 35% concentration you need to add 12 additional tablespoons of distilled water to make your 3% cleansing solution to make the solution that Robtyea used prior to swabbing with the 17% H2O2/DMSO mixture.

Good luck! And please share if you can your results.

Its in a hard place to keep covered. I also noticed that he seemed to pace and pant for awhile after applying it, almost like he was antsy. I was worried he might have a heart attack, but my husband said it didn't feel like his heart was racing. Has anyone else experienced this? It's sort of a funky smell also. Really need to get this oozing under control and the abcess's closed. Please send my Stoli some positive energy! Thanks

Theresa from Acworth, GA. you will see on EC many people had success with turmeric mixed in castor oil as well. Also, keep in mind that tumors, before they collapse, enlarge first as if to gather the cells first.

Since there is a lot of oozing, turmeric would be more appropriate with the castor oil. Also look up Essiac West and the genuine site with a green background. Do look up EC on pets and tumors.

Can he wear a collar, especially when you have just applied the mixture? There is much hope, believe me. Cover the mixture with love.

Hello, Theresa --- have you perused the section on tumors for pets on EC?

Your vets did not give you much hope. Big Pharma is heading the schools for doctors and they do not allow the word "cure". When health is a business...

I found out about castor oil on Edgar Cayce's website where it is called "Palma Christy." I also saw it on EC.

Professional people are busy making money and few have the time to do research. Allopathic meds. do not believe in herbs unless they can be patented. That means only big money but certainly not good health.

I have always believed in myself and still do. Other people are not concerned. For example, I heard a woman in a group ask a medical doctor about vitamins. She gave an answer. But do allopathic doctors know or are educated about vitamins? One has to follow the heart and not the money.

I feel sorry for your dog. Love,

Since I'm a senior I could not lift my 85 pound dog into the car....I took a picture of my sweet Molly's back leg..and took it to the vet that had seen her for 5 years..( She is a farmers daughter country vet)

The look in the vets eyes was horrible..then she says that all she can do is surgically remove the tumored bone and attempt some chemo and radiation to the tune of $7000-$12000.00..but would not suggest it because doing that procedure would not prolong my dogs life any longer than not doing the surgery.. I almost passed out with fear..gained my composure and asked for any holistic methods out there since nobody in my town has $7000-$12000 laying around in their cookie jar....

Frantic I started searching for holistic ways to help my dog..I came across this site.. It is day 8 of putting castor oil on my dogs leg 5 times a day.. I am praying like the other people reports in here... that the egg shaped hard lump surrounding my dogs back leg will start to shrink.. So far no shrinking..

Question..If it in fact does start to shrink..and if it bursts..WHAT do you apply to the opening when it bursts??

Again this is only the beginning of the second week..No shrinkage as of yet..She is still eating like a champion morning and evening...going to the mail box down the drive way with me and going out to get the newspaper..on three legs and holding her back leg up.. she would walk/hop around the block on her leash if I let her.. (on three legs)

Her spirits are high for a 10 year old doggy..

One concern is last week after about 3 days of the caster oil...She started hopping on her good back leg and pulling her bad leg up..She is eating like a champ and still racing outside to the fence with my other dogs to inform the neighbors dogs in barking that she is STILL the big dog...

EVERYBODY PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR MOLLYBIRDIE (in Texas)!!!!

Get a good quality turmeric and cover the wound with it. Later, when dry, you can use coconut oil to close the wound nicely. Turmeric is anti tumor, natural antibiotic, blood cleansing. Om

Hey Italiandobergirl!

Tumors can fall off cleanly or they can ulcerate. The margins are irrelevant when using these remedies because they boost the immune system and cause the body to reject the tumor cells so the histamines are not triggered. JMHO!

Good News! My 10 year old cat was cured of a "very" large tumor with H2O2. I found this site a few months ago. I started out trying to use iodine, but she wouldn't let me near her after the first time. So I started putting some H2O2 in her water. I didn't however think about the fact that like humans, she might need a break for a few days now and then. It arrested the growth immediately, it drained some clear liquid for a bit, and she grew back her fur. But it stayed there. Until I gave her a break. Then it started draining large amounts of thick yellow pus. After about 10 days, it is gone!

I have used castor oil on every huge wound on horses and big ones on dogs with no ill effects (for over 12 years), I have done it ever since a old bushie told me to use it on a horse that opened his chest on a steel fence post and vet advised to put down, horse healed without a scar and full muscle movement. It keeps flys away, though on a dog that can lick his self we had to bandage at first then, he then had a ice cream container on his head for a day. I am about to use it on a squamous cell carcinoma on a horses nose to see the effect will keep you updated... Oh and my mother had it placed on her foot when she sliced the ball just about off when she was a child and she has not had any problems with it, it doesn't burn but it does heat up so don't rub in at all pouring over is best and if you can not cover it it is better as have heard of it blistering. But have used on back legs of unhandled horses and if it hurt to apply they would have kicked me for sure, I hose down first so they get used to the water movement then pouring castor oil is not even felt and after the 3 day they just let me pour it on. It seems to settle the nerve ending and stop the pain...

Hi Heidi,

ingredients for Essiac Tea.

  • Burdock Root.
  • Slippery Elm (inner bark)
  • Sheep Sorrel.
  • Indian Rhubarb Root.

You can buy these herbs online and mix it yourself.

Mix equal parts of each herb and brew it-put in the refrigerator overnight and start using it the next day after straining it.

Hope this helps.

Raw Pet Food

Our dog had a tumor on one of his ears. The vet said that if it continued to grow, it should be removed surgically. I'd had good results using raw food, and had heard of many cancer cures using raw food, so I did a search and found that the raw pet food I had once heard about, from Canada, called B.A.R.F. (which stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food), was now available within driving distance from a local distributor. The dog was put on this food immediately. In three weeks, the tumor had flattened and blackened into a hideous thick crust. At 6 weeks into the raw food experiment, it was just a small flat scab. At 7 weeks, the scab fell off and revealed perfect, pink skin, with only a trace that there was ever a problem. We have kept him on a largely raw diet since then. Today, almost 2 years later, I can't tell where the tumor was. And he always smells fresher and less "doggy" when he is on raw food. He also has a lot more energy. I love how the raw diet decreased the burden of digesting cooked food, and gave him more assimilable nutrition to help his body heal.

Dear Barbara,

I have never heard of colloidal silver being toxic for cats. I have used it for cats and dogs and myself in very large quantities.

I would also try turmeric for your cat. 1/4 teaspoon twice a day, mixed in food, or mixed with water and given in a syringe. My German Shepherd puppy had an odd mass on his neck and turmeric got rid of it.

Is any of the ulcer accessible to you? Castor oil is great at reducing all sorts of growths. You just apply some topically. (If your cat ingests it, it isn't a problem but can cause loose stools.)

My cat had an odd growth on her mouth, as I am now recalling, many years ago. We were sure she would have to be put down. She had recently had a litter of kittens. We took her to the vet and he said to get the kittens off of her (which we did.) The kittens were taking a lot out of her. That said, if you cat has any stress, try and remove it, and give her the best food possible. (We use Costco cat food. Anything else and our cat gets UTI's.)

Keep us posted!

Lymphomas, as with the majority of cancers, are viral in origin. Several viruses have been linked to different types of lymphomas.

Unless the virus is addressed you are not going to get very far as the virus can continue causing the same problem.

The best antivirals I have found for lymphomas are pau d' arco (lapacho, taheebo, ipe roxo), andrographis and dried and aged chaparral. The chaparral has to be dried and aged a few months to destroy alkaloids present that are toxic to the liver.

I prefer to use combinations of herbs together that are synergistic. For example, addition of chaparral to the pau d' arco increases the levels of antiviral beta lapachone in the pau d' arco. I recommend combining the herbal powders, which are more effective and more stable than tinctures, in equal amounts. Recommended dose for a dog that small is 2 size '0' capsules of the mix 3 times daily.

Dogs' benefit from ginger, you could make her a little doggie pancake and put some in it. It helps with nausea and digestion and is a heating spice that increases circulation.

How much ginger should I give my dog? Give 1/2 teaspoon for dogs under 35 pounds (1/4 teaspoon for miniature breeds) and 3/4 teaspoon for larger dogs, he says. It can be mixed into your dog's food.

I know a little bit about misery and when a person fills the tub and gets in up the the neck it tricks the body into thinking the pain is coming from a larger area and shrinks it. Water removes water out of the body, so you have to drink water. Some dogs love water.

Most drugs have an antihistamine in them and can help a misery calm down and give one some rest as they recover

Here is a link:

https://iloveadog.com.au/iodine-and-cancer-a-summary-of-the-evidence

Povodine Iodine you can get 1/2 gal for 20.00 & put it straight on the outside it kills so far down. My Dozzer has a tumor in his testicle that I use it o, & it won' hurt them if they do happen to lick some off for it penetrates the skin so fast if they do it's very little. Kills even MRSA & antibiotic immune Candida, along with almost all negative & positive bacteria. Type 2 Iodine has to be monitored by a Holistic vet but works great on that type of cancer including but not limited to prostrate & mammary glands, breast, etc.

I hope this helps you & your buddy.

You could buy Conforming Bandages for your cat if they are cheaper.

I would ditch the turmeric topically and start giving it to her internally instead, via sneaking it into her food, turmeric milk or eye-dropper to the back of her mouth. It could do more there and it wouldn't stain a thing!

Castor Oil Packs are amazingly healing )instructions on this site). They have never failed me or family.

After I pull the pack off, I would leave the oil in the area, then sprinkle baking soda on top, cover with gauze and then a conforming bandage or vet strips. I would do this 2x/day, morning and night.

Pure White Vinegar is another go-to! Been trying to heal a cut for 3 days, was about to use the C.O.P. on it, but first tried soaking it for 10 mins in the vinegar, undiluted (this did not sting my infected cut). After that it healed quickly. Sometimes simple is the best.

You could also use that eye-dropper I mentioned earlier to get some water/juice of 1 lime or lemon, 1/4tsp baking soda mixture in her, too. Mix in water glass and see how much she will drink. Bad things cannot live in an alkaline environment so I would help this along.

Please do update us on your fur baby.

Hey Kitty Junkie! It's so good to hear good news!! It's one of the things I love about this place!!

Since she's already wearing a onesie, you could put a waterproof patch in it and soak some cotton in colloidal silver and lay it across it. And you can leave that on for several days, as the silver will kill any "yuckiness" before it can even get started.

Colloidal silver is amazing. If you put it on a bandaid and cover just part of a bad cat scratch, where the puncture is, that part will heal practically overnight and leave you with two smaller scratches on either side of the bandage which - if you're an experimenter - is way more cool than it sounds. You could also put some in her water - which I think people might want to do for all of their pets, anyway - personally. Not only will it attack infection from inside, but the water stays fresh and kills any mosquito eggs that might get laid in it.

It's the silver they would normally get from live, natural, running water sources and that most people and pets probably aren't getting at all. It doesn't take much to stop fungal, viral or bacterial growth and will slowly resolve them and any damage they may have done. Plus, if you just use small amounts, you probably won't even notice the herx effects. There might be a sniffle, a little rash or some loose stools from something the body's keeping locked up to prevent it from doing serious damage, but nothing really uncomfortable.

It can be used as a remedy but it's actually a vital nutrient. In fact, it's been discovered that with at least 30 previous days of supplementation, it greatly increases its effectiveness when one uses it against a viral load that exceeds the capacity of the smaller amounts one is taking. And that's just the more virulent pathogens that can survive it well enough to breed and become an issue - which most can't. As one researcher remarked, there was nothing in the 650+ pathogens they threw at it that could survive it.

In nature, without all of the jackboot damage, nearly all ground water sources would provide minute amounts of it for all man-friendly life on earth.

Turpentine

Hi Rob,

Thank you so much for your always interesting and detailed remedies and amazing stories on Earth Clinic!

I just finished reading your suggestion to a reader about pure gum spirits turpentine for a tumor in a cat's ear. Would you also suggest topical turpentine for a large tumor on a dog too? My 15 1/2 year old golden retriever has a mass pushing into her right shoulder blade that the vet thinks may be going into the bone based on xrays. The biopsy results came back inconclusive. I'm doing a few hydrogen peroxide 12% food grade drops in her food twice a day for the past 3 days and there's a significant increase in her energy, but not sure if it's shrinking this mass.

Appreciate any suggestions. Thank you so much!

Hi Connie,

I used colloidal silver to treat a cancerous growth on my dog Flower's leg. I gave it to her both orally and topically as often as she would let me. It took several days, possibly even a few weeks (I can't remember) but the silver shrank the tumor until finally it was just attached by a small piece of tissue and fell off. I will tell you that it got worse before it got better, turning different colors and even developed some tentacle-like growths out of the top. I wrote about it on another post but I can't find where it is. Perhaps the moderators for Earth Clinic can help with that. In any case, I wish you and your baby well. I hope that is helpful.

Sanicle will also shrink tumors. You take it orally and also topically over the tumor site. It will penetrate down and work its magic.

Hello - I have been reading all entries related to bone cancer and osteosarcoma but am reaching out to find out Ted's best and most up to date protocol. My 6.5 year old Dane (94 lbs) was taken to the Vet for a limp, and after misdiagnosing for a month as a fracture turned out to be osteosarcoma. We started seeking and treating with every seemingly effective treatment I could find.

It has been 6 weeks since dx:

1) 2 Tbsp Budwig Flax Oil + 2 Tbps organic cottage cheese + ground walnut/apricot-seed/pumpkin-seed/sunflower-seed. We would do this twice daily

2) diet change - zero kibble now, we simmer meat or foul and add supplements such as seaweed calcium and moringa powder For the past 2 weeks we have added:

3) 1/2 tsp blackseed oil + 1/2 tsp honey

4) Essiac tea twice a day 4 oz each ////

Although she seems healthy, the growth of her leg has not reduced and has slightly enlarged. She limps heavily. I've been told it grows rapidly, typically, so maybe only a small increase is good. BUT, Ted, I need help and know that time is not on my side. Please, I am looking for a protocol - even hope for a cure - and have nothing but negative information from doctors and limited solid information from self research.

Some days she turns her nose at all food except the honey+blackseed. Most days she has a good appetite though.

EC: Dear Dane Mom,

We're so sorry to hear about your Great Dane. Unfortunately our brilliant contributor Ted had a stroke 3 years ago and has been unable to correspond with Earth Clinic readers since then. Hopefully one of our other wonderful contributors will have some ideas for you.

Hello Danemom,

Good on you for getting rid of the kibble, but wouldn't raw pastured meat be better than cooked (carcinogenic) meat? Particularly the raw organ meats, especially liver. For the Budwig diet, please ensure you emulsify the mix well, and hopefully you are using flax oil that you bought refrigerated and keep it so, as unrefrigerated it is rancid and you are introducing toxins when you do not want to do that. Ted always said to get rid of any sugars when fighting cancers, however I understand you are following a protocol and you have researched this. First thought I had though, was lugol's iodine, and after perusing some old thoughts of Ted, you may further research applying topically Iodine with DMSO and for extra strength, clove oil, if she licked it she is unlikely to do it again, as LI tastes pretty foul, and many have taken li and DMSO internally. Best to you

Dear Paul,

I am sorry about your dog's tumor/bleeding!

Is it enough bleeding that you are concerned about blood loss or just that there is an increased discharge?

You might try giving some blackstrap or even chlorophyll if blood loss is a concern. How big is your dog?

I would give a 100 pound dog as much as a Tablespoon of blackstrap and several tablespoons of Chlorophyll each day to make up for blood loss.

If it is just draining/oozing, I would try to keep it clean, perhaps with povidone iodine. Turmeric can be used in wounds to prevent infection. So can honey.

If the bleeding is severe, cayenne pepper will stop bleeding. We have used it in wounds. It sounds like it would sting, but it really doesn't. But if you dog was inclined to lick at the wound, it would not be pleasant for him. Cayenne can be used internally also to stabilize bleeding but I have never given it to a dog. I am not sure how he would take it.

Keep us posted on Jed's progress! It is hard to see our beloved pets suffer...

Can I suggest something about turmeric for tumors. I have been using turmeric for years to great effect, I have extracted raw turmeric root and used alcohol to seep over several weeks to extract the essential oil or resin. But I discovered certain varieties of turmeric work better than others, the yellow turmeric seems to be more potent than the orange turmeric. Feel free to disagree, I can only report what I see and I feel its necessary to point this out, to those whom maybe interested. When I used orange organic grown turmeric over the last two years, effect was void. Previous years I used white/ yellow and orange in combination it was impressive particularly with tumours. I source my turmeric from Earthcare Maleny QLD. I am not connected to this business and I am a customer only.
