I have a 7 year old mixed breed dog that has a tumor on her mouth. She also had a large fatty type tumor on her chest. I have changed her diet and have included turmeric, Essiac tea, and food grade hydrogen peroxide. She's been on the diet for 2 weeks with the tea and hydrogen peroxide for a week. The fatty tumor on her chest is almost gone, but the mouth tumor has increased in size. How long does the tea and peroxide take to work? I don't want to end up having to take her in for emergency surgery.
thank you for this suggestion! I have a Tibetan Terrier who has cysts and I'm wondering if it would help with those? how much do you give orally to a 25 pound dog?
I am so happy to see these replies! I had been watching the Recent Post and not seeing my entry (?), but here it is and such great insight. Thank you. Mmsg Somewhere, Europe 06/30/2018 - This is totally new to my ears, can you tell me more about what/how/when. I am interested in ANYTHING that could reverse the osteosarcoma.
Yes, emulsified, organic & Barleans brand 100% refrigerated flax oil. The honey + black seed oil does make me concerned because of the sugar. I am uneducated if the honey is really needed for the black seed oil to be effective. This is a good question for this Earth Clinic post.
We stopped kibble immediately and only knew of one way to feed her sugar/carb-free by the next meal; simmered meats (low temp, crock pot with water). I am trying to introduce raw meats to Kalli, but she is strongly resistant to eating it and I worry for her immune system and any stress of doing the "tough love" standoff with her for a few days. The furthest she has eaten for me, with skepticism, is some raw ground turkey mixed with cottage cheese. Is simmered meat worse than dry food, for cancer?
Updating: Hunting down the materials, we have just applied a 100% DMSO, iodine/iodide, castor oil, aloe Juice(?), clove oil mixture to her leg! Things I am unclear about are:
1) I could not locate aloe vera oil, even online. Is aloe oil what should be used?
2) Should any (all) of this be taken orally too, or is it most effective as a topical bone tumor treatment?
3) Am I doing it right.. anything else better/needed to reverse cancel cells?
The Lysine, Ted may not say this? In my case, I would stay with the lysine, throughout this. It is harmless to healthy bodies. It kills the bad stuff. So maybe, if I were on your path, 3 days. 2 off. Then 3 days. Ted usually ups the amount of times a day, when he writes to the most serious questions. Lysine and threonine are our immunity. They build it. If we and our pets were living clean and not vaccinated, chances are we would derive enough from food and digestion. This is no longer the case.
In our case, the devastation vaccination wrought on our dogs was devastating.
My Mom took in every stray, at one time, 12 dogs. Sometimes less. I saw poor little messes turn into healthy good dogs. Just eating and being loved. They lived on pet food but in the 60s and 70s food was an entirely different matter. That and they only got a rabies shot. Were dewormed.
We had passels of guinea pigs when we homeschooled our kids, dogs birds, rabbit, cats. They were not the pets I grew up with. Their challenges were crazy hard. The guinea pigs all got kidney stones, tumors. They all were too fat. My trek for healing our family included those little piggies.
As we healed, appropriate to their diet, vegetarian, we began treating them. Lysine was my first tool. It extended their lives. Improved their lives. The cat lived to be nearly 20. Key to cat health, liver, lysine.
The dogs it was 1 thing after the other. Their 4 year shots brought disaster. Epilepsy, bad thyroids, ACL tears, ear infection, tumors, cataracts, anxiety.
I was overwhelmed, first and foremost was always diet. Off commercial food.
Magnesium, mag phos, chamomilla, rhus tox, liver, liver sausage, no nitrates, our butcher grinds beef hearts and organ meats. Looks like hamburger. I cannot face too many organs, lol. A local farmer cans his pot roast, shoulders, for human consumption, cooked, no additives. It became the dog food. It was hard to convince our doodle to eat raw. So lightly cooked meats and that food.
That was the mainstay, the throat collapse of our retriever was due to nonabsorption of selenium, so as each thing cropped up, if Ted had not addressed it, on to Google and studies.
1 of those 4 dogs is still with us, she is 12 now, but her ear problems and fatty tumors remain/persist. Her cancer is gone. Fatty tumors are different and grow. I am going to start her on azoxystrobin and BHT this weekend. These, Ted talks about in this email below. The cannabutter for them was a godsend.
As far as Tannic, I buy from wine makers supply. Golden in color. There are brown ones, Ted specifically says golden.
The bone broth, bulletproof has been so reliable. I use it as a tool, extra nutrients, cilantro, lecithin. Whatever we are facing it is my absorption tool. In my family, it helped our daughter with narcolepsy get on her feet, the profound exhaustion. Sleep no rest. Our other daughter it was the first thing in her healing. It began digestion where she had none. 25 years of mystery illness. It started her gut. All of our other efforts only got her so far then she would just stop. It was the tool that got her on her feet. I give it, as a go out the door with a lysine remedy if a virus tries to get started around here. Nutrition boost, digestion, intestine, digestive juncture start. So it does not look like Dave Asprys version in my house, here it is a kick start. Bone broth, vegetarian broth, for one daughter. It is a good drink to boost someone in hospital. It is a great carrier and lightens some of the load when you are doing so many things, you need a thing to carry it all in. Liver so rich in enzymes and Amino's is an ideal addition.
In dogs, they do not produce Bs well and in people and it is C. So the brewers yeast or liver go in the broth. For people, the C goes in the lysine remedy.
The recipes for BHT, an oil preservative, I buy capsules. Give first in am, one capsule, 250 mg some are 325. An hour before food. Then natto. Later.
Azoxystrobin, the recipe, 10% powder in 90% water. Let stand, cap shake. 1 to 2 drops 3x a day.
Bloodroot extract, this is added to stop the growth of the cancer. Part of another remedy. If you search on E.C. for azoxystrobin. There is a remedy there in those emails that puts all 3 of these together for another effective arm to your cancer killing fight. 3 to 4 drops a day. Your drops, for dogs. Water and drops suctioned into a syringe. Separate doses. So bloodroot apart from azoxystrobin.
To buy, Amazon, azoxystrobin, Ted recommends, Amistar 50WG powder. They only sell it a short time each year you may have to really look hard. If not able to find it, I would still include the other 2. You can find on Amazon or E bay.
This has helped lead us to "neoplasene". I was unable to find any vet assistance for bloodroot or neoplasene from any of our 4 vets, and also dead end leads from me calling around tirelessly around the Midwest to holistic and natural vets. If it wasn't a skin tumor they passed me off, sadly.
I did finally receive an appointment with a natural vet clinic in Kansas and she has been working with neoplasene for cancer treatments for 15+ years. We should be receiving the RX next week. She recommends oral even for OS cancer, as injecting is "very painful".
A few things I've learned so far that seem like good information to share forward to EC.
Per this Vet -- It cannot be used with antioxidants and is not compatible with a raw meat diet. So she has advised waiting at least 6 hours before taking anything such as fish oil, Budwig flax+protein, Vit C (which we include in Lysine/Threonine hourly cocktails in the morning). Due to the time constraints of taking oral neoplasene every 12 hours with food(! ), it may mean taking a break from some of these other treatments. It's a leap of faith for sure to change tracks.
I have found zero information on bloodroot or neoplasene specifically for osteosarcoma or bone cancers! This is our focus. Lots of good information for skin and soft tissue cancers though.
Has anyone else had any experience here? I am hoping for a big reduction of tumor size altogether, and desperately hoping for a cure of course.
Please share.
Hello, I just read down through the many reviews and comments regarding tumors, castor oil and turmeric. None of the discussions mention whether the tumor is under the skin or on it. Can we shrink a growth that is under the skin, whether it is cancerous or not, using castor oil and/or turmeric? What about tumors that are located elsewhere like in the liver? Would turmeric cure such a tumor by itself or would one need to add other remedies? Thank you.
I have a 12yo pitbull with an orange size fatty tumor on his leg. About a month ago I started adding turmeric, blackstrap molasses & coconut oil to his food. About a week ago the growth increased in size to about a grapefruit and is starting to ooze blood from tiny holes to relieve pressure. The skin is very tight and you can see blood pooling. He licks it constantly and his body seems to be running a slight fever. Prior to this vet did not want to remove due to his age.
My question - it seems his body is trying to expel the tumor. Is there anything I can do to help limit his discomfort or to help it expel more quickly to relieve the pressure?
Does anyone else have examples of where it was expelled and what to expect?
The fact that the tumor is oozing blood means it's starting to get infected, which also explains his fever. I'm not sure what to suggest, but hopefully Mama To Many or others can suggest some things.
I have an old but happy dog of 14 years who has an apple sized tumour on his front leg. The vet age him 6mths to live and said he was too old for surgery. So a week ago I started applying castor oil and turmeric pack and wrapping it. A week on and the tumour has started to bleed every time I unwrap the bandages from tiny little holes. The blood is oozing out so fast its hard to not get extremely stressed about too much blood loss. I have read on various threads that the tumours do bleed but I am worried about how much is normal. The only way I can stop the bleeding it to pour on cayenne pepper and strap with pressure. Is this just the tumour emptying itself? Our hound seems happy in himself and is eating well twice a day but I keep asking myself if I am doing the right thing by him. Has anyone else in here experienced a lot of blood loss from the tumour and should I just let it drain? Any advise would be very appreciated. Thanks
Do these tumours refill with new blood as soon as they are emptying? Last night when I unwrapped his leg the blood was spurting out. I am not sure what kind of tumour this is but it does seem to be very bright red blood. There isnt any sign of the other substance coming out. And when it is bleeding is it ok for the dog to lick the blood or will this make them ill? Also the tumour skin is looking quite raw because it is covered 24/7. Is this ok or should it be uncovered? (to be honest I think it would bleed all day if it wasn't covered with a pressure bandage). Very concerned and trying to convince myself I am doing etc right thing here!
I don't know if the tumors refill; I would tend to think not, but I don't really know. Bright red blood does sound pretty serious. Do you have a vet that could help you?
Thanks Mama to Many, we have been to the vet and they have said it will continue to fill with blood and there isn't anything more we can do but make the most of our last weekend with him. Thanks for your help and advise, I really have appreciated it.

About Theresa
Theresa from Minneapolis was born and raised in the inner city, always wishing she had been raised on a farm.
Her love for creatures great and small began at an early age, starting with caterpillars - which continues to this day, along with an interest in all insects and 'creepy crawlies'.
Theresa's interest in pet health started with a bird keeping hobby at age 14, where she learned from another hobbyist that the simple addition of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) in a bird's drinking water kept fungal infections away; she was able to share this with her avian vet who in turn prescribed it to her own clients; Theresa was surprised to learn that she could teach her vet a thing or two. This important lesson - that each of us can be a teacher - was a turning point for Theresa, and fueled her quest for the knowledge held in lore, and remedies passed by word of mouth. That quest for knowledge continues to this day, as new and old remedies alike are explored. She may not have experience with a particular issue, but she will research it to the best of her ability and share what she finds freely, in the hopes that you can heal or improve your pet's health.

I am sorry to hear about your dobie's nasal tumor. It is astonishing what we are seeing now in such young animals :( . Certainly consider the castor oil therapy, but what comes immediately to my mind is the Budwig protocol which can be used in conjunction with other therapies. Please check out EC's page:

Can castor oil help mast cell tumors? I have an 8 year old boxer with a quarter sized thick mast cell tumor on her chest. I've been applying it for 5 days 2-3 times a day with a heat pack at least once per day. Looking for any results or other things that have good success rates.
Response to post on cat neck tumor: Our 17 year old black and white tabby 'buttons' has had a hard tumor that is growing on the right side of her neck right below her ear for months now. Our vet told us she had an ear infection (which was treated with antibiotics prescribed by the vet), an ear polyp and the hard tumor. Because of her age, any kind of surgery is out of the question. So we wait and watch. I would like to try the castor oil....but am skeptical. Do you think this would really help her? I would love to get her back to good health and have her around for many more years as we love all of our cats to pieces!!!
I have been reading threads on here about castor oil packs for tumors on pets but have read miscellaneous comments about people reading that they were not good for malignant tumors, of which my cat has. I haven`t seen anything conclusive or documented on this subject. Only heresay of the commenters having read it somewhere. Can anyone point me to more research on the subject? I really want to try this soon if it is an option for my poor baby girl. Thank you!
HI Sigmund or Anyone who could comment on effective treatments against Intra-Nasal tumors I am very sorry about your doberman's condition. I am in a similar situation with my chihuahua, Despite the medical report and aware of the regular outcomes, I am hopeful for a positive turn around. I am wondering if you tried the castor oil compresses and/or the Budwig protocol? If so, I would really appreciate if you could comment if you tried any of these alternative therapies, or may be you tried other treatments? What did you experience during the process of the treatment/s? What worked, what didn't? Anything that worked well that you might recommend? Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, as I understand this may be sensitive topic to share. Thus far, God has sustained my little dog, he was in critical condition a week ago, his main problem is obstruction of the airway, miraculously he is surviving thanks be to God. In addition I am using food as medicine. I feed him a vegetarian/ketogenic diet using extra virgin raw coconut oil, I make organic green juice and supplementing with organic wheat grass juice powder, cat's claw extract, probiotics, turmeric, vit D, and a multivitamin. He has shown improvement, nasal mucus discharge has greatly decreased and is breathing better. I am wondering if the castor oil compress would help or not? or if the Budwig protocol worked for you or not? Thank you again. --Martha

Hi, thanks for your reply, Jed is now on the mend the blood loss was just a lot discharge from the tumour which has now stopped. The next day we noticed that the swelling had gone down a hell of a lot and Jed was brighter in himself. Yesterday there was very little discharge so we gave him a full body wash to make him feel better. This morning the tumour has gone down 75% which is amazing all the stuff inside the tumour is coming away and out so we will be now left with a hole were it was. The question is now what happens next does the body repair the damage in its own way? and do we just keep the wound clean?

Hi Mama to Many,
Thank you for all your help it is much appreciated. The update on Jed. So far is I tried the turmeric and yes you guess it he licked it all out when I was not looking and made himself sick so went to plan B the Iodine solution you recomended stated not to put it in open wounds so I am a bit bothered about that. So now looking at plan C The Honey do we just pack out the tumour hole with honey? This is going to be fun lol.
The good news is as well all the swelling has gone down in his front leg and Paw just about back to normal and he is starting to take food again slowly as he wants it. Oh and is back to being alert when he hears a bag being opened thinking there is a chance of food. Which he was not doing two days ago.
So he is well on the way to getting better.
So the only thing now is this big hole to sort out? Do I just pack it out with honey?

Hi everyone, I need some help again with my Lab Jed. A while ago he had a huge tumour just behind his shoulder on his front left leg. With some fantastic help from "Mama to Many" we got Jed back to health again and got rid of the tumor all that was left was a healed lump with scar tissue that was it.
All was good for three weeks and Now his front leg has got swollen up to his shoulder. We kept him on his tumeric but it just stays the same in size, it's slightly red and warm.
We put manuka honey on it and it cooled it down and we are giving him vitamin C tablets twice a day. But it is still swollen and he does not like to get up now and stand on it what can we do to get rid of the swelling. Many thanks in advance Paul and Jed.
p.s. Apart from the swelling he is fine he will be 13 on September 13 2017

Hi Mama to Many
We found out the cause of Jeds swelling this morning, his tumour is back. We kept him on turmeric from last time we never stopped the twice a day even when he healed up. We now have added the coconut oil to the mix as well just one tablespoon a day with his food. It has come back slightly forward of were it was last time. We are thinking now of castor oil to see if that does any good we are far from giving up the fight. Apart from that Jed is fine. Do you have any other ideas as to what we can do to help him?
All the best
Paul
p.s. it is starting to weep again through two little holes in the lump.
I am so sorry to hear about Jed! You have been a faithful and loving friend to him!
While remedies and good food are important, the love and care you have given him no doubt were a greater part of his ongoing health and his peaceful end.
Again, I am so sorry. May the memories of the happy days you had with him be a comfort to you.
I have started using one to two drops of 100 percent pure frankincense oil mixed with about 20 drops of organic cold pressed coconut oil. It is supposed to shrink tumours. I have noticed the tumour is starting to change to a slightly brown colour. Has anyone else tried this remedy for tumours?
What is DMSO? Looking and doing some research to try to save my Bella. Vet said it was to big to remove it because there wouldn't be enough skin to close it.

This is my first visit to Earth Clinic. I have been searching for help for my five yorkies. Thank You so much for the raw honey info. Can you buy raw honey at grocery store or does it have to be ordered? Thanks for sharing, big help.
DMSO carries whatever its mixed with to the cells. Important because you have to make sure area is clean n free of harmful chemicals. Before n after application. Read the label. I located my jar at the local Rural King back by the horse supplies. I've yet to use it. Wanted to try the food grade hydrogen peroxide on my dogs tumor.

Cat fibrosarcoma
So, my 15 years old cat had the x-ray and ultrasound and the vet.said some tumor is in her belly. It is 4x2 cm, in the lover belly, and it is palpable. On ultrasound it seems it has one part solid, one liquid like a cyst. The vet said that he thinks it is some kind of sarcoma, started im muscles and then entered abdominal cavity. I didn't want her to go to biopsy and the surgery, which vet also agreed, so I started to investigate what can I give her. By the way, her blood sample is ok, all is good, other than creatinine that is lightly high. She is ok, normally eating(just a little bit smaller portions), drinking, peeing, pooping....behaving like always. So I hope I got the right time to act, but I just need some advice.
I found out this remarkable site and I saw that a lot of you saved your beloved pets with Essiac tea and shark cartilage. On my research I found that people are not so keen to this treatment because it is not proven to work.
Anyway, I ordered them both, and beside that I am giving her some Spirulina, Ganoderma, Hydrogen pills, while I wati the tea to come.
I would like some comments, tips, suggestions, what to do with my 15 years old best friend? I must say that I'm a DMD, and finished acupuncture school, so any suggestions which points to use is great.
Please, write to us, 'cause we are desperate in some help.

I just found out my 13 year old beagle has a Nasopharyngeal cancerous tumor that is causing abnormal breathing. I can feel the lump on his neck. The vet gave him tramadol for pain and said limit his exercise. There are so many treatments-- where do I start? Budwig? Essiac? Oil? Turmeric?

My almost 11 yr old best friend was diagnosed with malignant Mamory Tumor on last Halloween morning. The Vet recommended to have it removed but could not come up with the $$ for the surgery. I have had her on golden paste since and have changed her diet. All of a sudden today she has a high fever and not feeling good at all and the tumor has grown and is all red and hot...Plz what else can I do..............

I have 8yr old cat diagnosed with an internal tumor in his jaw area. I am looking for natural alternative route. I see positive remarks on turmeric, apple cider vinegar, castor oil. I am wondering how much I should give of each or should I try one then add other products later?
Essiac Tea! Yes I bought some but that is the one thing I am not sure HOW to administer? she hates the tea flavour wont drink it... I could syringe it but am already doing that with other natural treatments ( so didnt want to attack her with the syringe again) The tea is Powdered form so can you just use the powder in foo ( like if I hide in in a capsule)??

I have no direct experience with treating tumors, however it sounds like cause and effect - ie your treatment is working. You might consider dosing the coconut oil orally along with the turmeric regime. I would keep it clean as you are doing, and discuss with your vet about the progress in shrinking, how small you want it to get, and steps for removal. Your vet may also have ideas on treating the open wound as well.
My Australian Shepherd age 8 has a growth on her tummy. Vet said it was like diggie breast cancer and would cost 600. to remove it. It grew within a week though on abdomen from a tennis ball size to double which worried me beyond words..then she developed a growth on back of one leg size of a golf ball. We have had her since a baby and don't want to lose her. I have been giving her excess garlic daily and excess vitamin c as read so much on research saying both are great at killing cancer cells. Her growths seem to have stopped now. I go through a bottle of rexall dollar general type vit c chewables 500 mg each and rexall garlic 500 mg soft gel pills which she gobbles up them alone and vitamin c so I am thinking they are giving her releif as she will walk to table when wants some. Her spirits are great and no signs of distress. The turmeric and castor oil though has me curious if it would work on her since growth is on abdomen where vital organs are.. could I just give her turmeric pills? or is it a risk?
About 5 years ago I had just taken in a stray dog (Black mouth Cur) and within a few months she got a tiny bump (Tumor) on top of her front toe.
It got bigger and bigger and I tried soaking it in Epsom salt as a friend advised but it didn't work to get rid of it.
It grew a little more and looked like a beautiful gum ball with a swirl of nice colors! I remember a product I used on a real bad wound a neighbors dog had, a product called BLU KOTE by Dr. Naylor! It sprays on purple. It worked on my neighbors dog's wound so I figured I would try it on the tumor. And it worked! I would soap up and rinse the foot and tumor then spray the Blu Kote spray on the tumor.
The tumor eventually dried up and fell off leaving no scar. But I don't know what type tumor it was.

Diane,
Thanks for posting the info about your dog's tumor. My cat has a growth of some sort on her chest and nothing has worked. It is in a spot inside her left front leg where a bandage doesn't work.
I just contacted Dr. Naylor and asked if Blue Kote be injested as cats lick all the time. I told him about Dr. Simoncini?? from Italy and that he says cancer is a fungus (Blue Kote is a fungicide according to the company) and he uses baking soda to coat the tumors and they vanish. Perhaps the fungicide property of Blue Kote is why your dogs tumor dried up.
Does the purple stain? My cat's underbelly is white.
Do you know if this product is natural or chemicals?
I used to get some purple on my finger and the stain didn't last long. Sorry I don't know much else about this product. Only that it worked on the dog's tumor on her paw and you better ask if it can be used on a cat.
I notice that some products that are good for dogs and not good for cats. Blu Kote is great on wounds for dogs and other farm animals. My neighbor's males dogs got into a bad fight and one dog had a nasty wound on it's leg and my husband sprayed Blu Kote on the bad wound and it healed nicely.

Per the wiki page: Blu Kote contains "Acriflavine has been shown to have anti-cancer activity by inhibition of HIF-1 which prevents blood vessels growing to supply tumors with blood and interferes with glucose uptake and use."

FYI Blu Kote is commonly available at farm supply or fleet farm type stores, though you may find it in walmart and the like in rural areas. The Active Ingredients: Sodium Propionate, Gentian Violet, Acriflavine,
Put some colloidal silver on the wound, if you can some hydrogen peroxide for the infection the silver is for infection and bacteria, coconut oil is good too. Good luck
Hi Linda! How long did it take for the cyst to shrink after giving your dog castor oil and turmeric? Mine also has one growing on his upper eyelid and it got infected so now he's on antibiotics but it seems to be getting bigger. I'm desperate for alternative options.

Can you give the detail for the aloe vera and castor oil for tumors. How much of each? how long did it take? Is it applied externally?
I have not been able to apply enough of anything on her tumor and have not been able to cover with a bandage it due to where it is. I think the aloe and castor oil may have the consistency of a salve and be able to cover it up.
I agree with you about vaccinations but Rabies shots are required to go fly overseas, which I am going to do. I won't give any shots but can not get around the Rabies one?
Humm taking another path. April 2016 Basically 13 yr old ShihTzu (14#) had 5 small growths on skin and one large goozing one side above left leg. Vet wanted $600 for removal and no guarantees for regrowth.
Now my ShihTzu is acting like a puppy. Lots of energy.
Path I went to onlynaturepet Q10 capsule daily
onlynaturalpet.com
and Pycnogenol1 tablet for approx 2 weeks and then 1/2 tablet daily
http://www.shopkaire.com/ The Original Maritime Prime with Pycnogenol French maritime pine bark extract.
.....................
Skin treatment Daily for 5 small growths on skin I came up with Black walnut oil, tea tree oil and a salve herbal savy by country comfort ( golden seal and myrrh). The growths have decreased in size by 60%. Apply w Qtip.
Now is the time for small black walnuts falling from trees. Thought if you get the small walnuts before they turned into a nut you can slice open and apply the oil to growth. Short window open. Been told squirrels never get cancer - they eat black walnuts.
Four (4) months later - all is good until today the groomer discovered a mass - not hard and no pain) (about 2") above rear right area - stomach area. Well researching this site I am going continue on what I have been doing but add capsule RED CLOVER to his daily diet. Read up on the benefits for dogs internet. Thinking I will give it to him for 2 weeks and see where it stands.

Hi there. I understand what your saying concerning regular injections, yet my staff I homed due to mistreated as a puppy has had no injections at all. He is 10 and has a lump on his back leg the size of a large orange. Vets wanted to remove his leg not just the lump, I am now trying my hardest to treat him five times a day with castor oil and turmeric to reduce this and prove them wrong.
My cat has a tumor in virtually the same area. I purchased the same exact peroxide. What dosage did you give your cat? How often? And how were you able to successfully give your kitty enough?
All in know is that my dog had this huge tumor on his neck. I could not afford to have it seen about. I read up on tumors & after a month of one capsule of Pau D'Arco a day that tumor shrunk & disappeared & never came back.
If it cures a tumor I think it would help heal crohns. It has many uses.
I have read a lot off good reviews about essiac for pets on this site, so I tried it on my dogs growth on his nipple area. At first it looked like it was working but now the lump is growing very large and it is spreading. It is also hard and today I noticed something like a sore forming? Is this normal? Do I discontinue or keep going? It is not painful when I touch the area. She does not mind me doing that..appetite is good.
She is a 8 year old bostie. I am retired on a limited income and can't afford surgical bills..I'm af4aid I have to put her down.
I too, cannot afford expensive vet fees. WHY, if their profession is "caring" for animals do they put the cost out of reach for so many people???
I started reading these articles because my 10 yr. old Golden has several TUMORS, different sizes, different textures. I've removed two. Both oozed gross matter before removal. However, I've got an ongoing bill to pay. This berry treatment got my attention rather than turmeric paste, etc., due to oozing. Where do I get this product and how much for an 80 lb Golden Retriever. Risks???
Hi everyone. Are you all giving your dogs the seabuckhorn oil in their food or water? I had read that you can apply it directly on the tumors which I have been doing on my dog since November, but its not working that way. I'm desperate to try something else at this point!
Hi, how did you give the sea buckthorn berry oil? Can you put it the dog's food as I have a dog with lung cancer .oO do you have to drop it directly into the dog's mouth?
I just started my 13yr old bulldog / Staffordshire mix on sea buckthorn berry oil yesterday and I'm praying for results like stated here. I'm wondering how long Boppo has the mouth tumor before you started this. I noticed the lump 2 weeks ago (marble size) and took her to the vet within this time it grew 3-4 times the size and is now tomato size. It's been bleeding and she's bit chunks off. Follow-up appointment wasn't great - more antibiotics and pain/anti-inflammatories they are willing to attempt surgery but aren't recommending it. They expect it to grow back within a month or 2 if surgery is done. I'm just wondering if you experienced bleeding with Boppo. I know this is an old post but hoping someone with similar experience can shed some light. Thank you!
I am so sorry you are dealing with this. My 8 year old staffordshire mix just had a tumor pop up over the last week and a half (that I noticed) and it has grown so much since then. We have a vet appointment on Thurs to see what it is. Praying it is nothing but the more I read, the more I am convinced it probably is.

I have found that turmeric capsules put in pet food works better - they cannot taste it..available at health stores or herbal internet sale, I use Puritain Pride for quality.
My Yorkie also hates blackstrap, which did not work very well. Got rid of smaller lumps but the big ones are still there. Will eat disguised turmeric though. I am going to try topical organic castor oil. I have found organic is way better than natural. for myself anyway. and going to try topical turmeric. he also had pledora bugs from damp hay. Need a medicine for that.
Hey, I usually take amount needed / half of a ml and half of melted organic coconut oil in a medical syringe, shake ingredients together. Hold your pet by the fur under her chin, don't give her a choice for her own good, don't hurt her but simply put syringe at her back teeth and inject in her throat. This gets it done, its over.

I have a pet rat with a large mammary tumor. She has had surgery for mammary tumors before. They were benign but keep coming back in different areas. I don't know that she could survive another surgery. I am giving her turmeric and molasses orally. Should I try castor oil and turmeric on the tumor itself? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I am reading these posts about caster oil and tumeric for tumors in dogs. I am considering treating my dog, but one of the MANY tumors is quite large on her right shoulder. The size of my hand... Like I am holding a grapefruit. I am concerned about caring for something like that if it ruptures...
I SO agree; this is one reason why I use fresh ground, high quality pepper on almost everything I serve as food to my family. Pepper/piperine enhances absorption so much and our foods are already so depleted, anything we can do to increase nutrients is a significant benefit.

Hi my shepherd mix had a fatty tumor on her front leg. It grew quite large and then the skin started to split. I took her to the Vet and he said it would take 3 surgeries and about $2600 to remove but suggested I go home and research some remedies to get it to shrink. I found this site and began applying a turmeric paste to it and then gave her 2 times a day a teaspoon of turmeric and a teaspoon of black strap molasses in some wet food. In about 3 weeks the tumor started to oooze. It was in the evening so I just wrapped it up and let it drain. I brought her to the Vet. After examining it he said it had shrunk considerable and now was only one surgery and less than half the cost. He had me take her home and let it continue to drain. The next day she had her surgery and she is as good as new! It was amazing, I didn't think it was working but it did and it took awhile and yes it was gross when it was draining but certainly worth it.
My dog has a possible sarcoma lump on her armpit. I have mixed castor oil and turmeric and have been applying it topically. Also giving turmeric capsules in food. After a month, the lump is the same size, but oddly the skin around it is red and bloody today. I heard that lumps seem to get worse before getting better, but the lump is the same color, the skin around it is red. I am wondering if the friction of the paste is causing a skin irritation since its in the armpit area. Anybody seen this?

My elder Schnauzer/maltese mix has developed a bulbous growth on the edge of his gum right next to his incisor tooth. My friend recommended trying castor oil on it. Would it be safe and could it help since it's in his mouth? Any suggestions?
Don't know how your pet survived when he could have been licking the castor oil on his fur. It is considered one of the most dangerous toxin to pets according to the ASPCA pet toxin list. Anywhere on the internet you search it is considered a toxin to pets requiring vet care immediately if ingested. I would like to use it on my pet's small tumor if you can convince me it is safe if my pet licks the castor oil when it is on the fur.

Hi..I realize this is old but if you could contact me I would really appreciate hearing about your experience and what worked best for you. Going through the same thing right now..
Turmeric: I have a 13 yr old lab mix that has some fatty tumors as well as something on her right flank and possibly the right one. I took her to a holistic vet for acupuncture as it helped a dog that we had years ago. She said that it could be a tumor but without X-rays she wouldn't know for sure. Maggie has had two bloat surgeries within the last 3 years and I don't wont to take the risk of putting her to sleep again. She is not limping and is still very active and eating well. I have decided to try the turmeric as well as the castor oil. I mixed the turmeric 1/2 tsp, with about a tablespoon of local honey and she licked it right down. I am not sure what to do with the castor oil. Do I make a poultice for her hip or does she ingest it? The vet ran blood work and everything looked pretty good except for her creatinine was a point over normal. The visit was close to 400$ and as with most of the folks here have other pets and limited income. So I am going to give this a try and will keep you posted. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. She eats taste of the wild salmon along with pork meat that I cook, about 2-1/2-3 cups daily. I have her blood test that I can send if it would help with suggestions. Thank you glsmith14

I just noticed you said you feed her cooked pork? Please stay away from pork, and RAW meat is best, if you can afford it then try to feed her just raw meat, with cooked veggies, also a bit of oatmeal or rice with it. I have always noticed an extrmeme difference when feeding my dogs RAW
My dog has a large tumor or what I think is a tumor under her ear by her lymph node. It is not visible on the outside of her skin, my question is would the castor oil work for her since it's not visible.
I've applied castor oil to my dogs tumor on the side of her body. My question is, The tumor is now looking VERY scary, ugly, deformed, bleeding, and oozy. What does this mean? Is it breaking down? I try to keep it clean and bandage it, but she usually ends up ripping them off and licking the site. I have stopped the castor oil and try putting neosporin. Sometimes it looks like pus is forming but then it goes away. Any suggestions thanks.

feedback for Melissa from Austin, Tx (4-17-2013)
Her description of her dog's tumor reaction from using castor oil pack treatment reminded me of the description I read of tumors being treated with a product called "Black Ointment". As the tumors are being destroyed and break down, they exhibit All the "symptoms" Melissa was describing! She might want to look up websites on "Black Ointment";some of them have photos of various tumors during treatment, from start to finish. Evidentially the Very nasty-looking "symptoms" should not scare you into stopping treatment;otherwise you halt the Complete elimination of the cancer. Treatment might even cause a fairly deep pit/hole, but this is a good sign, showing that the "root/s" have been destroyed. Hole will fill in from bottom out; just follow the "Black Ointment" treatment directions. (Or complete the castor oil treatments until nastiness stops & then maybe use aloe vera gel to help new skin growth).
Best Wishes & Blessings to You and your Furry Angel!!!
I used black salve on my dog from herb healers. It definitely was a messy process but it removed a large tumor. Unfortunately later on another tumor even larger grew in its place. I didn't feel like dealing with the bloody mess as she'd rub her back on my area rugs and get blood all over. But it shrank the tumor like onion layers. I've used it on myself multiple times. I'm going first to try castor oil to see if it's less messy. Herb healers said this current tumor is too big to treat with BS but recommended iodine. That was extremely messy as it stained everything.

My sweet 9 year old Vizsla dog was just diagnosed with an aggressive glial cell brain tumor located in his occipital lobe. He had 5 siezures last wednesday 3/20 and after recovering from those he had an MRI and a spinal tap to determine what was going on. It is not surgically treatable and we can't afford radiation and really don't want to put him though it. We want to find something that will shrink his tumor holistically. He is really strong, and healthy otherwise. I have read about many treatments such as the Budwig diet, frankinsence, DMSO with aloe vera, essiac tea.... He is taking an anti siezure medication and steroids. The neurologist gave him 3 to 6 months to live and we are trying to be as hopeful as we can. I give him reiki about an hour per day and he also gets tong ren. I am looking to change his diet and do anything else that will help! Do you or does anyone have any suggestions? It is scary and any help, insight or suggestions would be amazing! Thank you!!!!
Google food grade hydrogen peroxide therapy. I use it and it works, it's easy, it's cheap and it's worth a try. There is tons of info about it on-line, good for both humans and animals. Good luck.
I realize this is old.. but I was very curious as to the suggestions u made of the black seed oil & the apple cider vinegar if possible please reply. It would be really appreciated
Currently using turmeric with cayenne pepper mixed with food to hopefully heal a mass. Actually got the idea here. Also came across the idea of using black cumin seed oil as it has so many positive benefits. Was wondering if anyone knew about any dangers of combining the two as they are both in the cumin family & I don't want the combination to result in overdose or overuse. I do add a little organic apple cider vinegar to her water..just a few drops and other then that she takes her regular vitamins (all natural). I just worry that too many herbs or natural anything can be bad if combined wrong. Also the recommended dosages if combining the two is okay. Going on my second full week using the turmeric & have yet to see any results, or shrinkage..anyone who knows anything possibly going through the same experience please leave a comment all advice is welcome. Thank you.
I would add CBD oil in your regimen to help with the seizures while you are treating the tumor... if cannabis is legal in your state medicinally, I would add the THC/CBD oil so that your baby benefits from the THC working to kill the cancer cells, and the CBD helping to keep the seizures at bay!! Praying!!
