I was so hopeful reading all the great successes here for our sweet "children". Thanks for the info.
I've been giving my beloved 15yo, 25 lb Puggle Turmeric for months and nothing. I first was giving 1/4-1/2 tsp Organic turmeric from the store for 6 weeks until I found out that was the wrong turmeric! I was to use the 95% kind. So have been giving him 2 (500mg) caps a day sprinkled in his food (along with Milk Thistle, and Superfood probiotic powder) and no change at all.
It hasn't grown but it is the size of an orange on his side for over 6 months. :( Everything is as good as before this benign fatty tumor (had vet test him). His appetite, water consumption, etc are all good, and he walks/jogs a couple miles/day with me.
I just can't understand why nothing is changing or shrinking. It's so sad.

I got no feedback at all concerning my Beagle. With further research we found that we were giving her too much turmeric. A quarter spoonful is too much. You have to do it by milligrams. She is better now. We will start over with a greatly reduced amount of turmeric.
Cats often get Acne on their chin which can get as large as a marble. If you didn't have it biopsied to actually tell if it's a tumor it was probably just a cysts or acne pimple. My cat used to get them until I read never to use plastic bowls or dishes to feed your animals.Since I replaced her dish and water bowl with glass, no more bumps on her chin.
In June, our 7 year old cat, Cece, was diagnosed with a feline fibrosarcoma tumor at the injection site for the feline leukemia vaccination shot. We feel we got it early enough, fortunately. Since the proposed veterinary treatment was far too unpleasant for my wife and I to consider for Ce, we discovered Essiac West tea and have been using it since the diagnosis as per the directions. We give her 3 ml in the morning and evening, which she at the very least doesn't seem to mind (huzzah! ). We are at the stage where the mass seems to be growing and getting harder, as per what has been written in the 'what to expect' sections of both the Essiac West pamphlet that came with the tea, as well as what many of the testimonials here have shared. Our veterinarian has also said that this will happen, so we're not sure what to expect or what to do if/when the mass erupts.
For those who have experienced a similar issue with their beloved felines, can anyone provide any sage words of wisdom as to what to expect, what to do if/when it erupts (application of a concentrated Essiac tea poultice), etc.? There has been much uniformity in what I have read about what happens (mass hardens and may grow, may erupt, it sloughs off, and eventually kills off the cancer), so we are quite hopeful.

About Theresa
Theresa from Minneapolis was born and raised in the inner city, always wishing she had been raised on a farm.
Her love for creatures great and small began at an early age, starting with caterpillars - which continues to this day, along with an interest in all insects and 'creepy crawlies'.
Theresa's interest in pet health started with a bird keeping hobby at age 14, where she learned from another hobbyist that the simple addition of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) in a bird's drinking water kept fungal infections away; she was able to share this with her avian vet who in turn prescribed it to her own clients; Theresa was surprised to learn that she could teach her vet a thing or two. This important lesson - that each of us can be a teacher - was a turning point for Theresa, and fueled her quest for the knowledge held in lore, and remedies passed by word of mouth. That quest for knowledge continues to this day, as new and old remedies alike are explored. She may not have experience with a particular issue, but she will research it to the best of her ability and share what she finds freely, in the hopes that you can heal or improve your pet's health.

When you say it looks like the mass is spreading - it could mean that the mass itself is growing or it could mean the mass is being expelled by the body and being pushed to the skin's surface. When tumors or masses come to the surface they make a sore or a lesion and the tumor drains out; it is messy and may smell and there likely will be bleeding. People then treat the open lesion with turmeric or castor oil or a pack of both. Sea buckthorn oil is also a remedy that may apply.
It can be hard to know if the mass is bad/cancer or just unsightly: a simple needle aspiration test at the vet might help determine what you are dealing with - and knowledge is power. You can then better choose your path with your girl. If it is not a bad mass you might continue with the Essiac and deal with the mess of an expelled tumor. If it is a bad mass you can then prepare for your girl's journey to the other side - be it by saying goodbye at the vet's right away, or by supporting her with good food and the satisfaction of your company until the bad days outnumber the good days and then you can choose to cross her over with dignity. Either way, knowing what type of mass you are actually dealing with will help with your peace of mind.
If you are unable to pay for vetting you might consider contacting a rescue group or your local humane society to see if they offer medical assistance for seniors. If you have been a long time client with your vet you might approach them about a payment plan.
I hope you didn't put her down. From what I read in the pamphlet the tumor will grow and get hard before the tumor will go away, you know that saying it will get worse before it gets better I guess that is what's happening here. I know it's been over a year now, but the point to me writing this is please everyone read the directions and the pamphlet carefully so you know what you're doing and what to expect while using this tea on your pet.

Hello,
It's been six months since our kitty Penelope was diagnosed with adeno carcinoma in her nasal passage, above her nose and under her eye. I have used a variety of alternative remedies, no chemo or radiation or surgery and Penelope is still in pretty good shape. She still cleans herself, comes over for petting and enjoys playing with a string...and eats very well.
I started with something from a vet clinic, lipids and green powder etc., that didn't seem to amount to much so I started giving her HP. That may have slowed the progression somewhat, but she hated it, even though it was only a drop or two in water given by syringe twice a day. She would hide all day after I gave it to her so eventually I switched to putting DMSO, HP and baking soda directly over the tumor (the tumor is under the skin). This seemed to cause the tumor to grow and there was more bleeding from her eye and nose. Eventually, I added Essiac Tea and then backed away from putting things on the tumor. When I stopped the DMSO, etc., the tumor shrank like crazy but is still there. I am giving her some antibiotic because of likely infection and am now starting the Budwig protocol. The bleeding has almost stopped altogether. So, it's been quite a journey, and, of course, I can't say where she would be if I'd done nothing. I can say that when I checked with the vet school about what to expect with this cancer I was told that the average life span of a cat given radiation for it is one year.
As for the Budwig formula, there is much information on line as to how to prepare it, but nothing concrete about how much to give a ten pound cat and how many times per day. If anyone can help with that I'd be grateful.
I've read that one should not do any oxygen therapies if they are doing Budwig, so I guess I can't do the DMSO and baking soda, but will continue with mushrooms, green powder and beta glucan, transfer factor, Essiac and turmeric and report back as soon as I see a change for the worse or for the better. Please let me know what amount I should be giving and how often if you happen to know.

I had a cat that was 15 who would not eat or drink for 10 days, the vet said bring her in & they would put her to sleep. I took off work & carried her in a sling all day & gave her 4 times a day cod liver oil. On the 10th day she jumped out & started drinking & eating slowly & lived until she was 22 & died in my arms.. She had a tumor in her stomach & the cod liver oil somehow healed it.. could have been a hair ball.. they figured she lived to be 15 & she would die... not so.. Also healed a tumor on my niece's dog's cheek.. I forget the two things I used for a pack..(it is a old treatment for humans with boils etc).. It worked.. also gave a little in the mouth.. I am going to look it up tonite.. some cold packed oil & baking soda (natural kind with no aluminum in it. it works.. look it up.. just put in cold pressed oil & baking soda... cannot remember the name of the oil... should pop up on the computer maybe.. thank u ..
Hi..I see this post is a bit old but its actually the only one regarding mammary gland tumors.I would really like to hear your experience about what worked best in your case..
Hi Ann. How is the mammary gland tumor treatment working with your little one? My little toy poodle who is a rescue and has two open tumors on the right side is not responding to the treatments very quickly.
I am searching and will be changing the current plan. Essaic tea or tumreric or honey. Have you tried them?????
Triple antibiotics, Hydrogen Peroxide with half water, and NuVet wafers just are not working fast enough. She has been on all for over two weeks. Looks a tiny bit better and at least the other two on the left side haven't opened up.
Chaga is actually in the Funghi family, medicinal mushrooms have been used for centuries in Asian, Japanese cultures to enhance the immune system. They have also been known for their cancer fighting benefits. My 12 year old Lab has nasal cancer, I am using medicinal mushrooms (including Chaga) and herbs to try and treat him. Check out Paul Stamets/Mycologist. It has only been a coupleof weeks but I am hopeful from reports from some others. Best wishes for all in the healing of our sweet best friends.
How do we keep a ruptured tumour clean after using turmeric and castor oil please? What's the best antibiotics naturally and what will help the open tumour heal up? xx
Turmeric is a natural antibiotic. On its own it will keep the wound clean and heal it. When the wound is dry, use coconut oil which will naturally remove the scabbing without scar tissue.
I have a cat with a tumor that looks just like this on the before and after. only thing is hers I had to get a little antibiotic help from the vet but now even after that it feels mushier. the vet doesn't think that's enough but, we all know better on the power of mother earth. been using turmeric /curcumin combo as the patch but, I will definitely try using the aloe as well. thanks for the tip.
Personally, I think shaving the area would be ideal just because it would end up being so messy to have the oil in the coat all the time. It would make it easier to make sure you have gotten the skin covered well with the oil, too.
Also additional support to Kati's reply to Mellisa. From my understanding when skin growths as tumors are being treated with natural health remedies, they will have ugly looking symptoms when they are breaking down from the natural destroying process. So, I would not stop treatment. I know it can seem bad but it is a good thing in a natural healing process.
I have experienced headaches, cold like symptoms, slight rashes, swelling of the face and lymph glands from taking nutrional supplements and eating lots of veggies and fruits. These symptoms lasted only a day or two. I have also experienced upon each wiping of my nose to seeing blood and dark dried blood on my tissue for about ten days. I believe these are all symptoms of toxins leaving my body. Have patience and faith that all this will end and healing will be done.
God bless you all and pray for healing for all that believe in God.
For brain tumor, I would try a cancer supplement called onco x plus lots of boswellia. The blood brain barrier blocks many herbs but boswellia crosses and attacks brain tumors. Boswellia also is a powerful anti inflammatory. Control of brain inflammation is very important. Doctors give steroidal anti-inflammatories for that. This is a huge problem since steroids feed the mycoplasma infection that often drives brain tumors. Look up the ketogenic diet / brain cancer. I don't know if this diet has similar effects on dogs as it does on humans but for humans it works really well on brain cancer. MSM would be good as an anti inflammatory and a super hot one gallium nitrate has powerful anticancer properties to it.

My girl friend has a Bernice Mountain dog who got cancer. He is about 8 yrs old. The vet said he will be dead in 3 months due to the tumor on his leg. 98% percent of these dogs die of cancer. It is now 3 1/2 months later the dog is VERY much alive...... Lots of energy. We sprayed HP 5-6 times a day directly on the tumor( it shrunk and and looks dead). Also we gave him green veggies ( partially cooked) and add it to his food/water (worked up to 8 cap fulls each day; 4 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon with meals and water). I hope this helps many of you.
Yes, coconut oil is excellent for dog's health. I use it to cook my dog's meal. A popular Holistic vet near us recommends not to use olive oil for dogs b/c it disrupts their digestive system.
Hi Theresa: You already helped me with Bailey allergies. She is doing great. I took her to the vet. today and in spite she found her better. She did a cytology on two tumors that she has on her mammary glands. Of course I don't know the results yet. But I have been reading all the posts about tumor and cysts home remedies on this page. What is your advice at this point. The only thing she told me was to change her food. 75% vegetables and 25% protein only mackerel, mixed with turmeric and cayenne pepper just a little bit. Can I start the castor oil ? I will keep you informed. Thank you again.

If this were my dog I would brew up Essiac tea and use it as a fluid to soak the kibble. And while castor oil can be taken internally - USP and BP grades can be taken internally, but have a laxative effect - you might have an easier time of it doing an oil pack; you wrap the area with the castor oil pack and let it sit for around an hour and then remove: the pack can be reused a few times. You should seek out high quality castor oil if possible as the regular drug store stuff doesn't pack the same punch.
I can see you doing the oil pack on your girl's belly, and giving her a nice chewy to distract her for a while. She gets the benefit of the castor oil pack and cleans her teeth to boot.
Can your girl have beef? I like to feed beef ribs or beef neck bones; I pop them in a 350 over for half an hour or so, just to the meat on the outside is browned and tasty but the bone is still very much raw on the inside. Feed the bone only when she is in the wrap, so the wrap = good stuff, and then take it away after the hour is up so she doesn't gnaw off more calcium than she can comfortably process ;-)

I have typed out lengthy responses on how I have both done the surgery and in other cases chosen against the surgery and they end up being 6 pages long. So the short version:
If Bailey were my girl, I would not do the surgery; the reality is that chances are great that the mammary tumors will not grow faster than she ages, meaning something else will likely be the cause of her eventual demise rather than the mammary cancer.
She is feeling good right now, so why screw that up by making her recover from surgery and anesthesia? The anesthesia, particularly at this age, is a huge hit to her immune system which in turn allows for other conditions such as yeast to get way out of control.
I would monitor the lumps; if they quadruple in size in the next 6 months I would revisit the idea of surgery, but for now with the Essiac and castor oil packs know that you ARE doing something and these are huge in terms of fighting any cancer and boosting her immune system to fight should this become a battle.
Do visit the Tellington Ttouch link on Bernie and about the cancer fighting supplements they used - you might get some ideas there too.

From what has been prescribed, it sounds like you have a smart and savvy vet. Given that, and that she feels strongly on her approach to treatment, I would choose to follow her advice.
The tumors are hard and tiny and have not spread, and your vet can do local anesthesia [as opposed to general, where they are completely knocked out], and Bailey is in otherwise good shape, I think it would be reasonable to remove the tumors. The thinking for NOT removing them is that it could well be the tumors never pose a problem during the rest of Bailey's life - it could well be that Bailey passes of old age and not due to any complication from mammary cancer. But you have a competent vet who is savvy and who uses both western and alternative approaches to healing, I would not have a problem following your vet's advice in removing these small tumors.
About my concerns over anesthesia. The main thing I do not like about the *general* anesthesia is that it takes a while for the body to filter it out, and I have noticed changes in my animals when they have been knocked out - their hair coat turns dull, they got flaky and dry skin; the Free and Easy Wanderer is liver support so this is just what the doctor ordered [literally! ]. The other thing about knocking them out completely is that the skeleton relaxes to the point where joints will subluxate, so your dog gets knocked out with the bones in the right places, but can wake up with bones all out of wack and in need of a chiropractic adjustment. With the local anesthesia there is less of a tendency for Bailey waking out of it with bones all out of wack; her body will still need to filter out the anesthesia drug, but she will be on liver support and that makes me feel so much better about it :-).
Can this combination be used on the open sores on a cancerous tumor... Located at the base of my 14 yr old huskys tail. I'm desperate to get this oozing infection under control. This dog is still walking up to 2 mi a day, drinking & eating and pottying outside. Please advise. Thanks Teresa

I have no first hand experience with your situation, but reading through the replies the answer is YES - you are to apply the mixture directly on the open tumor and on the surrounding tissue as well.
So my vet suggested I wash Stoli's tumor area & surrounding area 2x daily with chlorhexidine very diluted, and told me that the oozing is not just from infection it's from the cancer itself so it won't get better. This will just help to clean & cut down on the smell. I have turmeric and organic coconut oil but no castor oil. Consulted with a holistic vet today over phone and she said do NOT use castor oil on Stoli.
Hi, Theresa, if you look on EC DMSO, it should be diluted, for humans especially on the upper part of the body. That is how I am using it without the skin texture changing. I do not get the garlic smell; some people do.
I was wondering if giving a dog hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting could cause the same dog to rupture a tumor in his liver? My dog had ingested a corn cob about 3 weeks ago and so I gave him hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting, but he never vomited. Then about 4 days ago he became very ill, and I thought for sure it was the corn cob blocked in his intestines, only to find out he had a ruptured tumor on his liver, and I was just wondering if the hydrogen peroxide would cause that to happen to a tumor???

At the end of May, I discovered a small lump on my dogs neck just below the ear. I watched it and in July she was scratching it and it had grown quite a bit. I took her to the Vet and they wanted to remove it and biopsy it to the tune of $600. And they couldn't give me any idea of what it was. I decided to try the turmeric and started giving her 1/4 tsp 2 times a day in her food on July 20th.. She weighs 48 lbs. On Aug 5th it developed a dark hard scab which fell off by itself on Aug 8th. Now the lump is going down and I'm hoping it will be totally gone soon.. I will update on it soon.
Try oregano on Warts...my niece had a wart on hand and her grandma used oregano oil on it and 3 days later it was going away. It is very hot-spicy so don't get it in eyes or pet's mouth...its like a hot chile....I apply to my Chihuahua's chest so he doesn't sound like he has a breathing problem anymore.....kind of sounded like asthma before.

After reading an article "The One Minute Cure", I found GOE and ordered a quart. I have a paraqueet with a tumor and since she was dying, I decided to try this as a last resort. When I got the bottle, I accidentally spilled some of the HP on my hand and it burned and instantly, turned my skin white. I read this was normal so I didn't worry about it and my hand returned to normal color within a short time.
I began giving my little bird 3 drops of HP in her water and increased it daily until she was getting 40 drops... Gastly to taste, but that tumor within a couple months completely vanished. I began to cut down the dose but continued to give her the drops. Early this year, I realized that tumor was growing again so I started to increase the dose. It didn't seem to work this time so I poured the HP over my hand and realized, it was not strong anymore, my hand didn't burn or turn white. So, in early April, I reordered and the lady who took my order at Guardian of Eden told me that by keeping it for the year in my kitchen cabinet, it had lost its effectiveness because it was too warm. She said, however, I could use it to feed plants which made sense.
I began feeding my bird the new HP but it doesn't seem to be working and last week, I poured it over my hand and it was like pouring water on me... No burning, no white... So I called and the lady I spoke with said it probably had lost some of its strength and was perhaps 32% rather than 35% but to keep giving it to my bird. She also told me she was taking 17 drops a day and felt terrific, so I took 2 days of it with 3 drops and I did feel good. Whether 2 days made a difference, I don't know before I get into following this routine, I decided I wanted to talk to Don, whom I spoke with last year. He is the expert. I placed a call and anticipate a response as soon as he can, since his comments on this website indicate they are swamped with calls and cannot get back to anyone immediately.
In the meantime, my little bird continues to get 40 drops a day and actually, that tumor does look smaller. I recommend to everyone to read the article "The One Minute Cure" which I know Guardian of Eden now sells... I purchased it over a year and a half ago from another site. Hope you all get the great results I got last year and this year, once that tumor disappears, I will continue the same strength... obviously I cut the strength down too soon.
What strength of how are you giving your bird? I have 12% and 35% food grade. My Yorkie Ginger Pop had several tumors on her body but the vet can't operate due to her heart condition. I am on the 35% food grade for my lung cancer.
Be careful, shots are just as bad for pets as they are for people (in fact my dog has developed a tumor exactly where they gave her the vax - she is taking thuja (homeopathic) to detox and I have tried everything I have read on here esp. the castor oil and turmeric, Although it did not get bigger since the use; it also has not shrunk - so I have been using natural antibiotic such as grapefruit seed extract and colloidal silver (directly on the tumor) and it seems to be shrinking ever so slowly tho. Alternately I also saturate it with arnicare gel - (in case she is having any pain issues) not getting bigger and my be shrinking. (also since these things may be parasitic I put black walnut tinture occasionally) - no grain food - and good meat products are also necessary for the diet. (small batch, primal, natures variety are brands of wild meat for dogs and cats that are sold at some smaller pet stores in the freezer.

To know if the castor oil will work onyour dog's tumor, you have to try it - no knowing unless you try it.
Some posts on the page indicate castor oil is contra indicated for malignant tumors; its hard to know what type of tumor your dog has with out further testing, however chances are its a fatty tumor/non-malignant.
Cottage cheese looking stuff blowing out? Not a tumor at all, in all likelihood. It's probably a sebaceous cyst. Dense coated and double coated dogs especially are very prone to them, but they form when a sebaceous gland impacts and the sebum (the oil that lubricates the hair shaft) builds up. My dog gets them all the time.

Try colloidal silver, it doesn't sound like there's infection but I've seen some crazy things dealing with animals and silver is just about the best thing I've ever come across. I don't know how long this issue has been going on but I'm not against at least consulting your vet, who most likely knows a lot, we don't.

The wonderful Theresa from Minneapolis, MN has been helping pet owners and their beloved pets around the world on Earth Clinic since 2013.

VitaCost.com is great for the Turmeric. I purchase Organice 1#for approx $12. The castor oil too.. organic..Heritage brand. If you use the caster oil packs I buy the flannel from them as well.
Have you tried Turmeric paste on your dog? Also Arnica homeopathic 30 remedy to promote healing. Also sounds as if he needs a probiotic, kefir is really excellent as it has at least 10 strains of healthy bacteria needed for optimum gut health and Vitamin B, amino acids and magnesium, you can make this yourself. Get the gut strong, use the turmeric paste it acts as anti inflammatory and good for tumours, growths etc.Good luck.
My cat Trivi has a large cancer tumor in liver & tummy area. I would like to apply Castor Oil to this area to see if I can shrink the tumor. How can I prevent him from licking off the Castor Oil from this area, can it be covered with a rag?
I know this post is almost 2 months old, but, thought I'd share; I found this lady's blog about how she applied the castor oil. It makes a lot of sense because it includes the use of heat.
spindle cell tumor: Any recommendations for topical h202 applications to large spindle cell tumor behind and under front left leg? Also, after physical exertion, leg swells some. Just heard of h202. Will dilute in drinking water when receive it but am wondering about other ways to apply. Have been using whole food supplements tested with kinesiology, Orijen food, and milk thistle, and Essiac cancer formula herbal tinctures. We feel age of dog is deterrent to surgical removal. Also, any ideas for pain/discomfort management? Many thanks.
This is frustrating. A fluid filled cyst and a fatty solid tumor are not the same thing. A cyst is easily popped and drained with a knife or even a needle, but what about a fatty tumor? Does the castor oil force a cyst to become so large it ruptures? Therefore would it be BAD for a fatty tumor that will never rupture but continue to stay a mass?

My nine year old poodle-mix has had what seems to be a fatty tumor that is a little larger than an eraser. When she was three years old, this was just a skin tag, but over the years it grew and it became mostly round and white.
After benefiting from so many of the remedies here on this site, I decided to try castor oil on the tumor to see if it would go away. Every night, for three weeks, I rubbed a bit of castor oil on the tumor and nothing seemed to be happening.
At exactly the third week, my dog started licking the tumor a lot for the first time and when I checked her, the tumor had split open and there seemed to be a bit of blood and pus. I panicked since I was afraid that she would get an infection (and with the bad economy, I have no money for either of us to go to a doctor at this point) so I put hydrogen peroxide on it to clean it and wrapped it in a bandage so that she couldn't lick on it.
I kept cleaning it regularly and keeping it wrapped, though the wrapping comes off easily and she starts licking it more.
The problem is that the tumor seems to not be healing. The open spot is there and it doesn't look right and I'm afraid to continue to put castor oil on it when it is like this, so I have been continuing to keep it clean with H2O2. I feel really bad that I put my girl through this when the tumor wasn't really bothering her to begin with.
Right now, the tumor is open on top and looks lumpy inside and there is a dark center (reminds me of the dark center that warts have).
I hope that this doesn't mean that this is a cancerous tumor. I just wanted to post this so that you will know what you might be getting into with the application of castor oil. It definitely does something.

My horse was diagnosed with a Sarcoid on his front right leg and I called the vet out. She immediately handed me a bottle of xxterra ( one of the basic ingredients is bloodroot ) and I began to apply it. Within 24 hrs the Sarcoid tumor on his leg was 1/4 the size and not ooooozy like it was... It has scabbed over and according to other who have used it the tumor falls off on its own! what an amazing product.
Turmeric with black pepper helps the turmeric work faster, also that is like black salve if it bloodroot and you have to be careful of infection after it cures you or your animal bless u all

I don't know if bloodroot works alone. Two products I used will only work if the tissue is cancerous. One is Cansema found at altcancer.com and the other is indian herb http://www.lifelinewater.com/herb.html
They are each applied only one time unless you didn't put enough on the first time then apply it a second time.
Jess, from N.J. stated that she cured her dog with castor oil. It wasn't mentioned if the oil was applied or given internally twice a day. If given internally, how much should I give Dutches? She is a 12 yr old golden retriever.

Don't think I told you that Diablo had had a growth on his lower back, near his hips that Looked BAD. It was like cauliflower on a stalk. It was small but looked dangerous. I put some moistened cayenne and salt on it. It didn't bother him at first, but later I saw him lick it. A few days later it was Gone, never to return. I don't know if he bit it off, or it shrunk and shriveled. You have to try things, and figure the best way to use it.
Hello, checking to see if you have an update on your pack? My dog has multiple growths and mast cells and my cat was just diagnosed with inoperable primary lung cancer with spread to lymph nodes. I'm curious how things are going with you.
Based on the reviews here we had high hopes for this for our cat's oral carcinoma. Unfortunately, it appears to have had no positive effect whatsoever. We started the tea by syringe 10 days before we received the biopsy results, based on his drooling and not wanting to eat, but he still declined rapidly and five days later (15 days in total) he was so physically debilitated and seemed to be in so much pain that we made the (obvious but no less heartbreaking) decision to euthanize him. Sadly, a cat homeopath we spoke to during that time said she'd tried essiac tea more than 10 times with tumorous cats and had never seen evidence of its effectiveness. It probably doesn't hurt to try it if you have no other options, though not expecting a miracle might make it easier to countenance eventual loss if that sadly comes to pass.
Mast Cell Tumors on my dogs ear real bad, 2' x2' head 1.5' x 1' lip..5' x.5' and shoulder same measurement
My holistic vet is saying I can give my dog 1/4 teasp. of 100% pure gum spirit turpentine to rid her from Cancer is this correct? All I read is that it is toxic.
my 9 year old Saint Bernard has 2 tumors above his tail, close to the anus. All the treatments from vet has not worked and they are pushing for surgery. I don't want to go that route unless absolutely necessary. I clean it daily and started Castor oil today . I'm praying this oil will reduce the growth
I found that the best tumor remover is Frankincense Oil. Many people have cured themselves of lumps, tumors and even hemorrhoids. You can take internal or rub the area. When I used it I used 2-3 drops twice a day. The brand I used is NoW.
Hello, my dog has the same issue. Can you please write some feedback?
In previous reviews I can see that some growths have shrunk, and others have opened. I am afraid if it opens, my vet said if it starts bleeding the dog will need a surgery. Thank you.
My cat was diagnosed with “Rodent Ulcer” under her top lip, what a nightmare! It is now huge but it doesn't hurt her but she still eats, although I make sure it's very juicy! I've been putting Colloidal Silver drops on it, but I'm kind of winging it & it's only been a few days & I'm having second thoughts about using it after reading that it can kill if it's swallowed! I'm sure being on that tumor it leaks into her mouth, that's why I'm very concerned. After 60+ years of cats & others animals, I've never seen this & 6 of 7 vets, didn't know what was wrong when it started! That's how rare it is! This is the size of a ping pong ball that's been flattened IN her mouth attached under her top lip! Anybody else trying to help their pet baby??
A couple of tried-and-true, old-timer treatments come to mind because they have been effective for so many different animal infections and wounds for a very long time:
1. Hot Epsom Salts Packs - apply for 30 minutes, 2x/day. Heat salt in a frying pan, dump into 3-lined cheesecloth, dip into hot water, wring it out a bit and apply to infection.
This treatment has been successfully used to draw out all sorts of infections and ulcers on animals. My mother used to use this on our outdoor cats who would always come home with ulcers and other wounds, it worked perfectly.
2. NuStock ointment. First shave the site then apply a thick coating of the ointment and cover with a non-stick bandage so that it does not dry out. Or, use one of those elastic wraps if possible. If you can't do this, then simply leave the ointment on the area and reapply often. Ideally, leave on for 3 days, covered, then reapply after removing any discharged debris. Make sure the ointment remains moist while on the skin so, you may need to apply more ointment.
Repeat application until completely healed.
NuStock is a blend of ~ 75% sulfur, pine oil and petrolatum. There are other versions of this ointment on the market. One product uses raw shea butter instead of petrolatum. The pine oil is probably 100% gum turpentine which is the distilled oil from pine resin. So, it is pine resin essential oil.
This has cleared many different infections on the farm.
I just saw this. I thank you for your help and care. When we can afford more groceries I will get it. But I will look it up now, Do I put it on the outside? does it draw it out?
Sorry about the questions, lol haven't had a lot of sleep and less coffee.
Thank you, I will not use that, I do not want my Darth Vader in any pain. I started him on Milk Thistle and Honey and Shark Cartilage today. All taken internally. Thank you and God Bless you.

Darth Vader goes to the vet tomorrow for her assessment. A necessary evil, sorry, just a bit jaded. His tumors have shrunk, become softer and although he was running a temperature today for a while it is gone.
His water weight has gone down also. We think it goes up because of the chicken broth, we are not sure. We thought we had a hard decision to make tomorrow, but as he is more active and better than he was and we both decided NO WAY.
HE is on the Milk thistle and shark cartilage still. I will update you when we ALL return home.
Darth Vader ate some more with me feeding him the IP-6 and Tumeric ate /killed the tumor on his throat his throat has closed from the gaping hole to this. We are taking him to the vet tomorrow or at least just a video office visit to make sure it is safe to continue everything he is taking. He has had a couple of seizures tonight. I am putting Neosporin and light padding and gauze on it.

Hello!
So I posted a while back about my cat that has an open, ulcerated tumor on her belly that I have been treating now for over a month. I don't appear to be having good success with my treatments, as the tumor isn't healing as it should. I learned here that I can use castor oil on an open wound and its benefits. I also learned about turmeric and its benefits.
So here is what I've been doing, hopefully, someone can help me figure out why this is not working!
Daily, I clean the wound using some warm water with one drop of dawn blue dish soap and a clean cloth to gently press up onto the wound to try to clean up the previous day's castor oil solution.
I then spray some peroxide on the wound and let it bubble for a minute or two.
I blot it with a clean paper towel and then spray it liberally with my homemade colloidal silver.
I then mix about a tablespoon of castor oil with approximately 1/16th of a teaspoon of organic turmeric root powder.
I apply the castor/turmeric mixture to a clean sterile wound pad that I've sprayed down with colloidal silver.
I slip the pad over the wound on her belly and secure it with strips of vet wrap (Not tightly! ) around her body just enough to hold it in place and put her in a baby onesie.
It's been a month now, and there is still an infection that I can see on the surface of the tumor that is grayish/green/white in color. The tumor has a crevasse in the middle that I try to get the castor oil into. The surrounding edges of the tumor itself have small red sores that don't seem to be healing at all. I will say, that the tumor has grown a little bit in circumference since it burst open and since I've been treating it this way.
Can someone help me with this, or give me some advice on my treatment or how I SHOULD be treating this? I feel like there should be more clear evidence of healing by now. Thank you!
My five-year-old Maltese has a mass on her spleen I've been using turmeric and curcumin paste daily in her food it has started to shrink her stomach is still distended though I've been thinking about using chlorine dioxide to completely cure her and get rid of these tumors she weighs 13.5 pounds I don't know how much to use if you know the ratio would you please help and let me know I'm trying to completely heal and shrink these masses on her spleen . Thank you.
