Can't thank everyone enough for your contributions to this site. This is my favorite site because the remedies are tried and true from those who have actually walked the talk. Very very helpful.

Any plans to make this site mobile friendly? I love Earth Clinic, and because I have two small children I'm frequently on here looking for remedies for bumps, bruises, and runny noses. Most of the time I'm surfing with my phone while nursing my 4-month-old, so it would be great to have a full-featured version of the site that's easy to read on a mobile. Thanks!

I am new to this site. As a chronic asmtha sufferer, I've been looking for a natural way of controling my asthma. I was excited to read about so many people controling their asthma on this site. The problem I continue to run into is, 99% of the posters are using abbreviations that (as a new comer) I have no idea what they mean. Second, all the post seem to assume the reader already knows about the remedy and how to use it. While I would love to join this site and learn more, I feel that the actual how tos must be somewhere else and that this site is more of a pat each other on the back for controling their ailment.
EC: Thanks for the helpful criticism, Heath! Newcomers can get some help with the lingo by visiting the Guides page under the About Earth Clinic menu at the top of every page. We are also working toward a more authoritative "Recipes" feature for our more popular remedies, which should be rolled out in the next few months. Until then, stick with us and keep reading. The answers are in there!

I am so glad I found this site, but I am somewhat confused about exactly how to administer Ted's remedy, because of the way it is stated on the website. Do you take the aspirin, lysine (L-lysine), zinc, and vitamin C (afterwards) 4 times a day with 55 minute intervals in between, or what? The way it is written on the site, it is not specific enough to be crystal clear, and leaves room and opportunity for misinterpretation.
Instead of posting the dosage in an abbreviated way, it wouldn't hurt to use whole sentences to makes the issue crystal clear in steps, especially when dealing with a remedy of consumable items and explaining a technique involving dosage, duration, and time period.
I want to start this remedy, but I am afraid I am going to do it wrong, because of the confusion about how to exactly do this. Can somebody email me the precise steps in whole clear sentances? I do not mean to sound unappeciative, but I am serious about this and I want to do this right.
Also as food for thought, it is my observation that I think it would be a ground - breaking pivotal suggestion and idea for people posting their remedies, to also include all other ailments they have because it would logically help determine what remedies would work or be more effective with others.
When it is duly noted that certain remedies work well for certain people, and do not, or are not so much effective with others, then it is an indication that there are much more factors and parameters involved in in effectively treating the condition that is being missed or ignored.
For instance the lysine / arginne factor. It is know about people who have herpes, shingles, and cold sores, that agrinne aggravates their condition and also may cause inflamation (my observation). The remedy / technique that works well for this group may not be as effective for those not in this catagory. So until we become more specific, we cannot be anymore effective. The pieces are there, we just have to piece them together. Thank you for your page and please, can someone give me a clear understanding for Ted's remedy?

The phrase used to describe your method "55 minute 4 dose for 4 days" is confusing to me. Do you mean 4 doses equally spaced apart (every 6 hrs), or is it meant in any order as long as you take 4 doses, or do you mean 4 doses every 55 minutes in one day? Are you supposed to take vitamin C before the lysine and asprin? I know you don't want to give specific advice, but how are people to know how much to take of these items? You could relate how much you took with out it being advice. I apologise because I don't mean to sound so critical, but I want to do this right! Do you take vitamin C before, or after, the lysine and asprin? What miligram aspirin, the 81, or the 325 and how much was used? There is too much room for error the way it is written now, so can you be more specific?

Hi, Just a couple of suggestions. Don't see grapefruit seed extract on here as a remedy, maybe right in front of my nose! So many uses for it. Also, suggest you add epitaxis or nose bleeds (minor), 'cause I know a great remedy. I'll be checking in, great site!

Hi Ted, Even though I have not heard from you through earthclinic, I thoroughly enjoy and benefit from your regular contributions you are making for mankind through Earth Clinic. In spite of the obvious fact that your extensive analysis (some of which have been deleted) about natural medical cures you are still one of the few selfless best. Thank God that Earth Clinic is taking care to shield you from "medical profit makers" from distrupting your candid opinions as best possible. You have honestly proven to the world that there are BETTER and CHEAPER alternatives. My 86 year old cousin is improving from the derivative concoctions I make for him. He's only half blind (acute glaucoma) situation remains irreversible. Keep up the good work while I countinue to help spread the WORD. And PEACE!

I must say this is the best site on the internet. Thanks to the founder and all who help to make this site what it is today. I have used many of the remedies recommended from this site.
I was born in Belize and grew up the old fasion way with garlic, curasee remedies and plant leaf on the forehead for a headache. This site brings back great insight from great countries. Deep in the rain forest. I have used the apple cider with baking soda and without 2-3 times a day. It stops my heat waves and acid backups. It helped my stubborn scalp disease and now I've used the borax for the scalp day 1. Great so far. My scalp was very bad. I think that the acid backup somehow got through to my scalp and gave me a scalp disease and fungus. Even my mustache would get it from time to time. I've tried them all selson blue to scalpisin only short term relief. Even my liver and kidneys were acting up. I also used the milk thistle and started building up my system with vitamins and minerals and balance my ph. 3 months later im 98 percent better. Even my nervous system was acting up. I took the alpha lipoic acid 400 mg per day and l-carnitine500mg per day. Immediately I felt relief. I felt the nerves responding and even my eyes open more wider. I felt lighter on my feet and pain gone. Probably due to an experience I've had a few years ago with high energy which probably gave off some radiation poisoning.
I had a cluster of issues and one by one with the help of this site I must say I'm great. Thanks once again!

I just stumbled upon this site and think it's great. I found all of the posts to give valuable/knowledgeable info. (unlike many other sites being hit or miss with informed vs mis-informed info. ). Dr. Majid Ali has much info. on castor oil also (just search his name re: the item of interest).
To all who write; stay well and keep feeding us with valuable/knowledgeable info. From all who read.

As much as I love this site, I feel as though I am missing something. For example, my son has a sore throat and I wanted to come up with a natural remedy for him. I can see that cayenne pepper is the most popular remedy and that there should be a recipe posted somewhere but I can never find the recipe to any of the cures. I don't always have time to search through all of the postings.
Can you give me some advice on how to zone in on Ted from Bangkok's advice or the recommended recipes for different ailments?

Hope that your arm surgery went well, and that your recuperation has been a comfortable one. (Or at least tolerable.) Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
