Greetings, My husband and I have been inhaling H2o2 for almost a year, ( preferring inhalation to ingesting it). We both feel great and are rarely ill. I have noticed in this time that we both have a very strong (bad smelling) body odor. I have noticed a change in my sense of smell and taste. I find that certain foods are impossible for me to eat because they taste too strong ie turnips and the smell of tomato plants. Do you have any suggestions as to what we can do to change our body odor issues as we are both seeing and feeling so many of the benefits associated with the taking of hydrogen peroxide? Thank you for you reply

I heard that you can't inhale 3% peroxide unless it's NOT stabilized. Do you know anything about this? This is new to me, however, I have cured numerous people of Cancer and many other supposedly "In-Curable" diseases using 35% food grade peroxide. The inhalation method would be much easier to convince people to do it, and it's a lot cheaper.

That sounds about right. I have used HP in my nebulizer for years now. The trick is to use very little because this stuff is powerful! What I do is dilute store brand 3% HP down to 0. 5% (sometimes even less) with saline solution. I use it when I get sick and have respiratory problems (like a cold or flu). Within a day of nebulizing I start to cough all kinds of crap. You can definitely tell it works, specially when you are recovering from being sick and after a while somehow can't get rid of a cough. Do this and pretty soon you will be coughing up whatever it is that is still there and your body can't get rid of on its own! Same thing if you are sick and blow your nose and nothing comes out. With this method, your lungs will clear up very fast. Back when I used to smoke I would even cough up phlegm with black dots in it!

I tried for the first time putting one drop of 3% peroxide in 2 tbsp. Distilled water in my nebulizer and only took two puffs from it with the mouthpiece (not mask). I did not inhale that deeply as I was apprehensive of any possible side effects. It wasn't that long before I start hacking up the white foam that is remarkably similar to what happens to me when I used to brush my teeth with HP. Is this normal for everyone else? What else can I expect from nebulizing with HP?

I have emphysema. I get tested every 6 months to check the oxygen in my lungs.. Before I inhaled 3% peroxide my test prove my COPD was getting worse... But this time, after inhaling peroxide for three weeks my lungs have greatly improved. My pulmonologist was impressed at the technician's report that he tested me on difficult state of the art machines that measure the capacity of air in each test and he indeed reported much better than the previous three years.
I didn't tell her what I was doing. I was afraid she would try and stop me... Joan

H2o2 healed my chest condition
I used h2o2 as suggested by Bill Munro, inhaling it some time ago when I had a wheezing chest and cough that wouldn't go away for over four months. After I started using the hydrogen peroxide, it went away in roughly one week. AND HAS NEVER RETURNED. I still use it occasionally now whenever anything goes wrong.

I had heard of ingesting H2O2 in the past when a co-worker was doing it. We noticed her skin looked reat and asked what she was using and she replied "drinking peroxide" everyone instantly came alert in shock and then she started to explain. I then did a little research but could never find specific directions on dosage. I ran across this page while researching another topic. I have never been diagnosed with asthma but have all the symptoms and have used the albuterol inhalers and the advair and the horrible disgusting P.M... From the local drugstore, that stuff should be banned! But when you can't breath and you have no insurance, doctor or rx you will take whatever you can get! I have also had pneamonia and hospitalized to have fluid drained from my left lung (2 liters, then they had to go in and scrape out the rest). I got a cold that turned bronchitis and then went down into my chest. I had to work so ignored it and even had to sleep sitting up because the pain was too bad if I tried to lay back. This was in 2003.
I wanted to reply to this post because of the mention of burning. I followed the directions above, checked to make sure my H2O2 was not standardized and poured into the nasal spray bottle. I was too scared at first but I used your turmeric to cure boils, MRSA, Staph with GREAT success so I trusted the info and how could so many people be wrong. I tried one mist and didn't inhale so it just went all in the back of my throat and made it feel scratchy, I went back re-read the instructions but was way too scared to pump it so many times! I did one mist while taking a big inhale, I held my breath for a sec, wasn't sure about that part so I did it like the inhaler instructs. I waited to see what was going to happen, still scared, I felt a burning in my chest, not bad but there and enough to keep me scared. I 'think' I also felt a bit of a rush and a kind of pressure behind my face, very subtle, still unsure. At any rate I figured it was just the stuff working but then I read another couple had inhaled the fumes from the bottle because they didn't have the sprayer, that didn't seem so scary to me so I did that by taking about 5 or 6 deep long breaths from the bottle. I felt. . . strange, something but nothing at the same time, again I had a little bit of burning and that scared feeling. See I was so afraid of it I may have exagerated the experience in my mind so please keep that in mind while reading this. I decided to double check the entire label one more time to be sure it didn't say standardized somewhere and sure enough it did! ! ! Well that really freaked me out so I looked up the MSDS sheet of that manufacturer by typing in MSDS Manufacturer Name H2O2 and it brought up the PDF file as the first result, I didn't read the entire sheet, just the first aid section on inhaling it and all it said was to move to fresh air and call poison control. Well I was in fresh air and felt ok so I just came back to the site to see if anyone described what it feels like when you do it?
Is there any pain, tingling, discomfort? No one has mentioned that except in this post. I also think more stress needs to be put on making sure it is NOT STANDARDIZED and possibly explain what and where to look to find out. I had no clue, I figured it would be on the front label but it was not. I did read the back label but evidently not carefully enough! I am scared to look at the chemicals used in mine. Now I have to wait until I can go pick up the right kind of H2O2 to try this remedy, I am hoping to reap multiple health benefits, Bills skin is AMAZING! Why hasn't anyone mentioned that? Also the co-worker mentioned she had always suffered with allergies. She said since she had been on the H2O2 she had not had one flare up! Thanks soooo much for this excellent resource!

I just read this concern about not freezing H2O2 and I store my 35% FG in the freezer, but it does not freeze as I have to assume the freeze point is lower than the freezer temp goes, which is around -2 degrees below F. So it may seem that 3% could freeze at a standard freezer temp, but it appears the freezing point for 35% may be lower and safe to store in a home freezer. Anyone have advice on this?

Update: My coughing has been lessening but tends to bother me at the most inopportune time such as in the middle of the night. Two nights ago, I decided to use the steam/cinnamon oil/clove oil mixture to inhale given that I read it would kill any budding virus (I wanted to halt any virus just in case something was starting up again causing my coughing to not dissipate). Success! I was able to sleep hours and if there was any coughing, it was not as intense and very productive with no color or cloudiness in the phlegm. Mind you, my entire head has been swollen and my eyes had the appearance of protrusion because of the strain of coughing. Currently, my face has gone down and my coughing spells have been reduced about 50-75% with the time of the spells being reduced 90%. I went out for the very first time in weeks to a state fair. The first night I had to hide and cough about twice. The second night, my 2-3 coughing bouts did not alert anyone. I'm still a bit embarassed to go to a restaurant or movie theatre, but I am not as breathless as before from any activity. I definitely do not have to use my inhaler. THANKS EARTHCLINIC AND BILL MUNROE!!!
update:this morning - no coughing...yet!!!! Clearing throat to clear any phlegm coming up in small amounts and blowing nose periodically. Other than that, I am going to go to a restaurant for the first time in weeks to eat breakfast. I am breathing quietly - I don't hear congestion.

You're right about the drug companies. That's why they put chlorine in our water, to take the hydrogen out. funny, since they started doing that cancer and other fungal rated went up from 1 in 26 to 1 in 4, did some reading on flouride as well.....banned in europe for a reason, why are we still using it?

You're very right Sandra, in the U.K they have used hydrogen peroxide for many yrs until the drug companies hammered it. But funny they still use honey for ulcers. Honey turns to hydrogen peroxide when it meets skin, carrot and cranberry juice are rich in it. With that, if hydrogen peroxide did cause cancer, we would have to stay away from rain water, veggies and fruits.

There's a rumor going around on a few other websites that Bill Munro, creator of the H202 inhalation method, has Alzheimer's. In fact, a couple days ago we posted a feedback from Carolyn on this subject. Well, we just received a telephone call from Bill asking us to please remove Carolyn's post as he does not have Alzheimer's! We did.
Bill told us that there is one man posting nasty things about him on various websites after he called Bill 3 times to harass him with question after question. He apparently told Bill that he should never have posted the H202 inhalation cure on the net because Bill is not a doctor.
Bill admits that he doesn't have a great memory for names, but for sure he doesn't have Alzheimer's.
We love you, Bill!

Great Results! - Bill Munroes Inhaling Method
April of this year I turned 66. Most all of my life I have had a bronchial condition that would cause me to continually try to clear my chest of phlegm. Especially in the morning or after eating foods containing dairy. Very irritating to say the least!
I absolutely abhor the traditional medical practitioners of today. I see most of them as intellectuals being educated beyond their ability to really care about taking care of the patient. My mother was misdiagnosed in the hospital using another patient's blood! And yes she died as a result. Could tell of many more such cases with other family members and friends. Check out this story from today on Yahoo News:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100628/ap_on_he_me/us_med_overtreated_final_days
Now onto my experience with Bill Munro's Inhaling method. As Bill said he uses standard store HP of 3% - available most anywhere. Costco has the large bottles even cheaper.
Over the past 6 or 7 months, I had noticed what felt like a string going down my throat into my lung area. It would cause me to cough even more that usual - all to no relief. At the first part of May of 2010, an apparent virus had hit me hard. Coughing all night, no sleep etc. High fever. And I developed an unusual back ache that went from the right side of my upper rear back area down into the groin area. For many years I had always had a challenge with my back going out until I started taking a Chelated Magnesium that my Alternative Doc recommended. For years, it stopped the back problems until this came along.
In 2007 I had actually purchased a gallon of Wyn's Water which is 3% FGHP in distilled water. But never really started using it. Having forgot about it, and needing relief quickly, I came to good old EC having remembered reading many testimonies about HP and bronchial conditions.
After reading Bill Munro's testimony, I went to the drug store and bought some 3% HP - yes with all of those bad stabilizers and started in Bills' method of spraying several times per day - about 6 to 8 and pumping the sprayer around 8 to 10 times.
Additionally, I also found a testimony by someone on EC that used great mix of Clove Leaf Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, and Oregano Oil. Oregano Oil was pretty expensive so I used some Olive Leaf Oil I had. All are powerful anti-fungals. As recommended, I put some water in a small saucepan bringing it to a boil and added 3-5 drops of each oil. Draped a small dish towel over my head and started deeply inhaling as best I could. This treatment immediately started to break up the phlegm.
As to the fever treatment, I found info on EC about fantastic results using Aluminum oil for burns. But no reports of anyone or anyway to use it for fever. I now have a very funny picture of me with Aluminum Foil wrapped around my head! It was amazing, that as soon as I did this, the foil became very hot! I kept it on for about an hour until I went to bed. Can only say that my fever broke the next day. Who knows on that one? Also read somewhere that HP will raise the body temp.
I did this every night before going to bed along with the HP spraying. I started coughing up all kinds of junk and after only a few days noticed a definite increase in my lung capacity and energy levels were excellent. This nasty virus stayed around for almost all of May!
I kept a large Styrofoam cup next to the bed and in my car to cough all this nasty stuff into. It was interesting that in the morning when I would get up there would be all of this phlegm in the cup that you could not wash out even with very hot water. I thought, wow, know wonder you can't get it out of your system. I wanted to see how the HP worked on this. Just poured a little in the cup and watched as the HP started doing its magic. In a few minutes it had broke up all of the phlegm and it washed right out of the cup. Thought that is exactly what is going on inside of body.
While I am now using the 3% FGHP Wyn's Water HP for my internal spraying, I still have the question of how can you gargle and rinse - as recommended on the bottle and elsewhere - with the store bought and think it is not getting into your body??
I had no side effects of any kind using the store bought product that Bill Munroe uses also. I also had some kind bad of problem in my anus that has plagued me for years and has now completely disappeared. This was an amazing plus.
My back problem also went away! I did also buy an Inversion Board - that is great- and elevated the head of my bed 6 inches. Also from a post on EC.
God Bless all who post here.
Mike

i had the exact outcome as you. however, instead of giving up, i continued and am all the better for having done so. i went to urgent care twice and was diagnosed with acute bronchitis. i was given steroids, antibiotics, cough medicine and an inhaler both times and nothing worked. i decided to come here because i've had much success with turmeric on boils. i was, at that time, close to ruining my lungs completely as i coughed chronically with mucus filling my lungs but not coming out. i was also in extreme pain in my trunk area and lungs. the bottom line was when i researched my condition and found out that i actually have COPD because of the new symptoms of my feet and wrists swelling and massive water retention.
i saw this section and immediately sent for a dollar-store spray bottle, for we are currently vacationing and i needed something immediately. i had regular 3% peroxide from the dollar store and did not dilute it. i started inhaling as directed and immediately began to cough more and felt like i had the flu. i thought i was dying. the following morning, my coughs became productive and scary. i started with massive amounts of yellow phlem, then it changed to bloody, then yellow, green, yellow, cloudy, then clear, which is where i am today. i have spells of coughing when i feel the tickle at the back of my throat and it doesn't cease completely until i have coughed up the major portion of phlem. i am no longer panting from simply putting on my clothes and i can sleep. i am not in shape to go out in public just yet as i have no idea when i will start the coughing session. however, i am ten thousand percent better and i know this would not have been possible had i not come to this site.
i do have a question: WILL THE EXPELLING EVER CEASE COMPLETELY OR IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO DECREASE MY RECOVERY TIME? i have been inhaling cinnamon and clove oil with steam, but i can only do that while not out. i am missing being active...

Let's remember that there are different grades of HP. The food grade is safe for consumption (in small %). I'm guessing the one used in cigarettes are different grade which has additional chemicals added to it which makes it dangerous.

Dear Anonymous,
We can't be of any assistance unless you provide more information.
** safety **
May I suggest that others be more careful about the strength of peroxide they are using. For healing I drank about 3 or 4 cups of 0.00075% strength peroxide (5 dops of 3% strength peroxide in 1L).
I haven't tried this "peroxide inhalation therapy" yet so can't say anything authorative, but for myself I would :
* check the quality of the spray. Is the mist super fine?. How much does it dispense in one spray? (spray into a teaspoon).
* ask myself - how do I know I'm not taking too much? different sprays will meter out different dosages.
* ask myself - how do I know that this conectration isn't too much for my body to handle. Start small and work up!
* do not start with anything above 0.05% strength (yes, less than half a percent).
If you can't work out how much to dilute it then please don't even try, this isn't for you.

Another reason that food grade peroxide shouldn't be in a glass container is because H2O2 is heat and light sensitive. Without using a dark, opaque container, the H202 will dissolve into oxygen and water faster than you'd like (and it doesn't keep indefinitely anyway, that's why drug store brands have "stabilizers"). The glass' inability to withstand expanding from the oxygen is very dangerous, but if you're used to fermenting things in glass containers this wouldn't be the biggest worry. Keep your H202 in a cool, dark place in an opaque, dark container to keep it as long as possible. Good luck and be careful!

Hello Geoff from Birch Run, Michigan,
Sorry you are having problems and hope you are much better now. Had a little trouble with some of your spelling but think I got the gist of your complaints: beginning of common cold, used peroxide and got worse, now decided that worse because used the peroxide. Not sure what the return of "wam" means (did you mean warmth & fever?) or did you mean, try the peroxide again - Wham! fever & chills return? Your really tired is easy enough to understand, but your "shifty vision" leaves me wondering if you mean nystagmus or what some people call "dancing eyes" or something else?
First question I have is how did you use the peroxide, - orally, inhalation, external or what???? I tried the oral peroxide a long time ago and found that my stomach just couldn't tolerate it, so gave it up.
After reading about Bill's ingenious method of inhaling the drug store variety of peroxide, my curiosity got aroused and I tried it with his drug store variety. I tried it a few times and my stomach did not object to inhalation of H202 since it didn't pass through my GI tract and it worked wonders for opening both my chest and head up. OK! Figuring it would work just as well and probably better without any stabilizers in it, I purchased some 35% food grade peroxide to eliminate the stabilizers and use it more often than before. No problems whatever except for the taste of the small amount left in my mouth that didn't get inhaled and the benefits derived far out weigh that small distaste of H202.
As for the sickly color, almost scaly look of your hands, I can't say what that might be. If sickly color is "white & cold" makes one wonder if you might have Raynaud's disease. However, one can never rule out some weird reaction to anything, even a food, vitamin or mineral. My hands get icy cold, pale when exposed to some smelly perfumes.
I was told by a worrried grandmother whose young granddaughter kept having recurrent urinary tract infection, that when they finally played detective (as instructed) with everything that went in her mouth and found the problem, I was dumbfounded when she named Flintstone vitamins as the culprit causing the recurrent UTI's. After some thought, it seems more likely that it was the food coloring and the chemicals used to flavor them up like candy that caused the problem, not the vitamins. My suggestion to her was to get the child some uncolored and unflavored vitamins to take. They did and no problem with the vitamins then. If you think it is the peroxide, then I definitely would not repeat it.
If you think it might be the stabilizers in the drug store variety of H202, you might try the food grade without stabilizers to see if that is the problem. If you were trying it any method other than inhalation, try it that way to see if it makes a difference. WARNING!! If you are using a higher concentration of peroxide, be sure to dilute it down to the 3 to 3.5% solution before trying it by inhalation or any other method.
AS for the yeas and nays - I have read many of both on EC. I even read of one on EC who reacted to MSM, which I have been taking for at least 15 years with no problems, and none of the other people who started using it when I told them that it helped me, have ever had any problem with it yet.
Some unlikely things do seem to work wonders. Did you ever hear of the "chicken manure" tea the old folks used to brew up in the old days? That really blew my mind when I heard it. No way was I ever going to knowingly try it. Well, in reading a book on the history of medicine, I was astounded by reading that they first found aureomycin (an early antibiotic) in the white part of the chicken manure, which is the part that my mother said the old folks used to make their chicken manure tea. Well, maybe it would work, but my total anatomy rebels against the thought of it so I will just keep on taking my pokeweed berries (which I grew up believing to be poison), and other herbal remedies.
Hope you are feeling fit as a fiddle and no longer in need of any "doctoring" for any ailments. As the old fellow said when asked to what he attributed his longevity: "The main thing is just keep on breathing". Been practicing it ever since I read it.

Hydrogen Peroxide for type 1 diabetes???
I would like to know if any of the people posting about their experiences using HP with their diabetes were type 1 diabetes. I would like to know if it would work same way at lowering insulin needs with juvenile onset diabetes. That doesn't mean the person is a child but that they developed it as a child or teen.
Does anyone know why the HP works??? What's going on inside that is causing the blood sugar lowering effect?
I would really like to try this but am a Type 1 diabetic. If anyone knows will you please post your knowledge about this.
Thank you so much,

Where to Find Nasal Pumps
Posted by Coregon (Medford, Or, Usa) on 04/10/2010
I had a great idea for Hydrogen Peroxide inhalers, if you don't want to use the nose spray bottles. I was looking online for fine mist spray bottles and came across a perfume atomizer..the kind used back in the 50's, glass with a tube and bulb (to squeeze to make mist come out). There are also modern glass perfume atomizers. I've found these at essential oil shops, and perfumeries, as well as on Amazon and Ebay. They produce a very fine mist, and are made of glass. The only thing to keep in mind is it would be better to buy a tinted glass (they sell dark blue) rather than clear, since peroxide should not be exposed to light. The average price for a small bottle is about $2.50. (Note: Because the contents will be going into your lungs, you would not want to use an old perfume bottle, even if washed, it retains residual perfume).

I have made two post stating my experience with peroxide inhalation. You have not posted either. I am starting to think this site is very misleading and this is dangerous. I started with what felt to be the beginning of the common cold. I did exactly what the site said and it got worste. At first I thought maybe it just did not work and I was getting worste because the cold itself. Now I am convinced I am feeling worste because of the peroxide. I have been doing it for two days now and I notice that I get a fever shortly after doing this. As time goes on the fever slowly goes away. If I try the peroxide again, wam, fever and chills back. Now I am starting to get really tired and my vision is really shifty. I noticed too that my hands are sicly white looking color and almost scaly looking. If I don't see my experience soon for other readers can see this, I will contact my good friend Ken Horn (State Represent. Michigan in Saginaw County). I do have a few other friends. I am not doubting that this may have worked for some, but I am starting to doubt now that you are not posting comments of someone like me. How many others like me are there that you are purposely not posting. Probably let the one or two "nays" on here to fool everyone.

Colds, Flu, Viruses

For the posts about colds/flu working, I have not experienced anything positive from this. I did the emptying out of the nasal spray inhalation method. As soon as I started to feel the throat itching and the nose getting stuffy, I started. First day I did it four times with around four to five sprays each time. All that happened with myself is that I got more sick as you would expect with a cold. The only difference was the my lungs are achy now and I had the nastiest taste in my mouth. Just to see if there has been any benefit, I continued in the morning (after having a fever all night). Still no change. The only thing that has help thus far has been the cold medicine I finally taken. Wish I could say different, but so far, the cold seems to be running a normal course with no benefit of peroxide inhalation.
Diabetes

I'm a diabetic on oral medications including high blood pressure. My glucose levels would not drop below 300 a year ago despite fasting. I started with a maintanance dose of 3 drops/8 oz distilled water x3 a day. 2 hours after my third dose, AND after eating a high glucose meal, my glucose level was at 90 exact.
I repeated everything exactly on day two in order to see if this was an anomoly... my glucose level dropped to 84.
And on the third day yet again, down to 76... I had to increase my carb intake between the major meals. This brought up my glucose level to around 90. Add exercise and my A1c was 6.8, my energy level is great, my glucose remains under control. I do not see an end to the diabetes though, short of exercise and continued weight drop.

For the past few days I've been suffering from some kind of ear infection - soreness deep inside the ear and bouts of dizziness. Saw the doc yesterday, she diagnosed an upper respiritory tract viral infection, so nothing she could do because it is viral.
After reading about Bill Munro's h202 inhalation method, I decided to give this a try. I began yesterday evening and woke up this morning feeling SO much better. No dizziness. Ears not hurting. BUT, also, my sinuses and my head feel more clear than they have in a long, long time. I am amazed at such immediate and wonderful results from such a simple, low cost remedy.
I used 3% Food Grade h202 (1oz 35% diluted in 11oz distilled water)in a small mist sprayer (couldn't find a nasal spray so used a small glass spray bottle which makes a really fine spray) I sprayed about 4 times on the breath intake, and did this about 4 times during the evening.
I will be keeping up the h202 inhalation, I'm interested to see what, if any, other improvements I might experience through regular use. I love this clear feeling in my sinuses.
THANK YOU Bill Munro. Thank you to everyone on this site for all the shared amazing info, and thank you to Deidre for creating this wonderful Earth Clinic resource.

Lung Issues

to Sue from Allentown: I have sinus problems constantly, and asthma, and copd. And yes, they are probably caused by my smoking. (30 years) I have been using h202 diluted to 1% in a portable nebulizer. I don't use it all the time, because I am not sure of what happens when taking a bunch of other meds or vitamins or remedies at the same time. I am not sure if I read it here that you should not take h202 and ACV within 6 hours of each other. I also read that you should take anti-oxidants while taking h202 because of its oxidizing effect. I feel that the h202 has worked for my nasty sinus infections. I not only inhale through my mouth, I breathe the vapors through my nose also. Not alot, just about 5 or 6 breaths. I also put 1 oz. per gallon in my humidifier every night. That really helps my congestion. I do take ACV on a "when I remember basis." I cannot say for sure if all of this is really working or not. I can say that my colds have not been as bad this year, and I have not had to run to the doctor for anti-biotics, or prednisone. I still have sinus congestion, and bronchitis at this time, but another virus has yet again run through my family and friends. I wish I could find answers to all these questions about taking H202. I wish there was a page here on this site, that showed when, how, what to take or not take with it. I have looked into many sites for these answers but there aren't many, and they don't really tell you about any precautions with other meds or remedies at the same time. Hope all turns out fine for you.
