Allergies

I stumbled across this website looking for a cure for my allergies. I have missed weeks from work due to allergies in the last year. I used ACV and that helped with the allergies but I still had some problems. I started oil pulling and I could really see the toxins leaving my body thru mucas ect.. After two weeks my allergies have been cured and I feel great.

Reply to Nay about Oil pulling. The instructions say to do it BEFORE you brush your teeth. Maybe that is why it isn't working for you.

Hi, just wanted to share with you my cure for an infected gum -- hydrogen peroxide. Also wanted to respond to Subashini from Kuwait, because I may have an answer for her about the bad breath and oil pulling.
My story (I'll try to be brief)... got a piece of food stuck in the gum behind one of my front teeth. No matter what I did -- floss, oil pull, swish peroxide -- it didn't come out. I then went to a new dentist last week to have my teeth cleaned and the stuck particle removed. Lucky me -- the hygenist was just filling in for the day and during the teeth cleaning part, said she saw something dislodge but then "lost sight of it". Okay, fine, I thought. That night I awoke in the middle of the night with terrible bad breath. It was so bad it actually woke me up. Yes, I do have sensitive smell!! When I looked at the right front tooth the next day, I noticed that the gum was severely swollen, from the tooth to the roof of the mouth. The bad breath also persisted. I started my holistic regime of oil pulling, then later swishing with hydrogen peroxide. The oil pulling, like Subashini said, made my breath worse. YUCK! I tried swishing with sea salt. No luck. Finally I had the idea a couple of days ago to soak a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide and then hold it (tightly) to the swollen gum for 10 minutes. I also pinched another h202 soaked cotton ball to the back side of the tooth where the piece of food had initially lodged. Interestingly, it didn't hurt, but certain areas of the gum turned white. 10 minutes later the white had disappeared. Glad to say that my bad breath smell immediately disappeared and has not returned. My gum is looking a little better. A couple more days of this (soaked h202 2x a day) and I think I will be back to 100%. I highly suggest this technique if you have a tooth abcess or swollen gums from an infection. It is the best way for hydrogen to penetrate, otherwise it just turns to foam if you swish it around in your mouth.
So Subashini, I think your issue may be an infection somewhere in your gums that the oil pulling is bringing to the surface. Infection smells like dental plaque -- quite disgusting. My suggestion is to pull up your top lip (then pull down the bottom lip) in the mirror in daylight and look for redness in your gums. If you can pinpoint an area, then soak it with hydrogen peroxide cotton ball 2x a day for a day or two. I would predict that your issue of bad breath will immediately go away, even after you oil pull.
Oh, one more thing. You will need to bend over a sink whilst holding the cotton ball to your gums and let your saliva run out. You may need to do round 2 during the same session. Most importantly, you don't want to swallow anything! Rinse well afterwards. Hope this helps someone, somewhere. All My Best, FR

I've done OP for only a week, each morning with sesame oil, and I was surprised to see that the little bit of eczema on my hand which included an open cut has been disappearing as if I was using a prescription cream which I haven't. The cut has closed over and all that's left is some dry skin, it's not red like it was. I've also noticed, my skin in general, ie. on my face is more soft and moisturized and my hands and face are less pale. Also, I would my mentality feels more alert.

I started oil pulling almost 4 weeks ago, I started seeing results of hair softening, teeth and gum health improving, but I after 2 days of the pulling my lungs started filling with mucus and turned into full blown bronchitus, this has gone on for 3 1/2 weeks now and finally I stopped the pulling, the mucus seems less. I started with coconut oil, switched to sesame and then to sunflower (which seemed to be the worst) as far as mucus escalation. The mucus never turned green but it continued to get worse and I was so lethargic I had to stop the pulling. Any advise? I liked the other benefits and my husband is having success.

I have been doing oil pulling for about one month and using cold pressed walnut oil. I went into the dentist for my semi annual cleaning and an exam. both the hygenist and the dentist commmented on how healthy my gums have become. My dentist said "whatever your doing it is working" In the past I have had a problem with bleeding gums--that is GONE.

I tried walnut oil and it was pleasant enough (I thought the oil was going to be gross). I only used 2 tsp but could feel the difference in the mouth after I finished. My mouth felt clean and fresh and I couldn't wait to do it again. And 15 minutes goes by fast when I'm on the computer doing my OP business. I like this thing.

I had my amalgam fillings taken out 3 years ago so that has not been a worry for me.

I too had a yellow yolk like release after some ionic foot baths and liver cleansing. It was almost turmeric in colour and I will never forget it. OP is really great if one is ok with seeing and expelling toxic mucous as it frees. I have no problem with what my body produces, sounds, smells or other fluids... None at all. This stuff fascinates me.

I started oil pulling two days ago. The first time I tried it my gums bled immediately after. I never had bleeding gums before. I tried it again the next day on two separate occasions, The first time a small hard plaque of mucus came up and about three hours later I did it again and something that I'm not quite sur what it is came up. It was very smelly. I'm seeing if OP will help me with my acne.

This site is a blessing! I love it! I tried the oil pulling a few months ago. I started seeing a black streak on my tongue so I stopped. The streak went away. I've recently started again because it really whitens my teeth and I have more energy, but the black streak on my tongue has returned. Has anyone else experienced this? could you please tell me what is causing this?

re: Oil Pulling and ACV tonic: I just wanted to say thanks so much for your website. I started oil pulling a month ago after much trepidation. I suffered from chronic insomnia and just feeling lethargic most of the time. I had initially started the apple cider vinegar and had started sleeping really well from the get go. I have always had sensitive and really weak teeth and about 3 months ago had had a root filling and crown on a tooth on my left side and was due to fix the opposite one on my right side, so you can imagine my surprise after a couple of weeks when I noticed that I was actually chewing food on my right side the whole time I was eating lunch! No tingling feeling and just an overall healthy feel in my mouth. Although I have had a good skin, I get compliments everyday about the glow my skin has. SO what can I say.....I don't think I will ever stop my regimen as the rewards are getting greater by the day. I have even ventured in including Apple cider in a mask mixture I make. Basically mix:
half of ripe avocado,
tablespoon of honey,
heaped tablespoon of oat bran
tablespoon of ACV
Mix well, and take a dollop of the mix, rub over face, neck (avoid sensitive eye area) for about 10 min. This leaves my skin feeling tingly fresh as well as so soft and moisturized. N.B While face is still damp apply moisturizer (coconut oil, or a mixture of coconut oil and aqueous cream). This is essential as it forms a barrier and helps trap the moisture in your skin. I believe you should see favourable results after a week. I use the mask only at night through and about twice a week. Enjoy! I put any leftover mask mixture in a tight container and place in fridge, but for no more that a couple of days. It usually keeps. Funny enough I also started oil pulling at night before going to bed, and then brushing. This morning I woke up as I had just brushed my teeth!

I have been Oil Pulling for 3 weeks now with no noticable changes except for shiny teeth when I am done. I have KP on my upper arms and it is still there. I am using expelled sesame oil. Since I have been doing it this long, I will continue for a few months. I am trying to decide if I should change the oil I am using after a full month. Possibly coconut oil..

My face has gone smooth, and looks moisturised, my circles are decreasing, and my eyes, which were like inside my sockets, have started to come out, and look a bit brighter, my double chin, which i have been looking for a good exercise for, is slowly decreasing, but not too much as yet. my metabolism has gone a bit faster, i feel hungry, whereas before i used to just eat, and bored eat, whereas now i actually feel hungry. my tongue which was so cracked up and ugly and yellow, has actually shown a bit of colour, and is now not rough like before, but nice and soft. As yet i am still waiting to see if my cracked feet will heal, but i do feel energized, and healthy feeling. I have only started for 6 weeks now, and i only swish in the mornings, i want to do it 3 times, maybe that's when i will know the cures quickly, i think if someone like me wants quick results then 3 times a day. i would recommend it to everyone in the world, for a precaution against diseases, after all if we don't see anything happening outside of the body, we definitely know the insides are getting cleaned and all the toxins are going and diseases etc.

I first read about this therapy with Andreas Moritz's book "The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush". Something just resonated with me, I don't know what it was exactly. I have been doing it for 5 months, with a group of people, whose testimonials come in every day. We have people experimenting with other oils, and clays. We've added Oregano Oil and Tea Tree Oil to the pulling oil to add more antibacterial effects. Some say that this has cured their psoriasis. It does seem to have an effect on skin, like the healing of cracked heels. The dental testimonies are amazing. I am truly hooked for life on this. For the first time in my life, I'm looking forward to going to the dentist!
