Never ingested DMSO before but, I'm watching the Avengers with a little bit of a stuffy nose from dust of spring cleaning, just went to put a dropper full of cayenne extract under the tongue. HowEVER - big fight scene, not paying attention, picked up the DMSO instead. Full strength. Whole dropper full. Under the tongue. Should be interesting! ROFL!!

CRYSTAL,,,,,,,,, yep, DMSO is a miracle compound that I learned of first hand when I worked for CZ back in the 60's. At that time it was made in the CZ Bogalusa, La. paper mill. The Super was a friend of mine and related lots of stories about the employees that worked in that area. None ever had a cold or flu. Also, he related how DMSO cured steam burns to his wrists as you say in your post. Like the Good Book says, He has provided all you need.

Yes, DMSO and Lugol's will do this but when applying this add sea salt internally and selenium and this will offset this.
Remember, the Dmso is carrying the Potassium in the system so it will lower blood pressure so you will need salt to balance it out and the selenium to regulate the iodine--I use this with an SKI/lugols I make with a 5% DMSO solution and noticed the same thing. You sleep deeply and rest like a baby but it can have a drowsy effect when not having salt.

He has a 'blood stream' formula that cleans the bloodstream and a formula that cleans out the bowel too- so that all the c.a.n.c.e.r cells can be eliminated out. Yep Chlorine Dioxide is bleach. Hydrogen Peroxide is industrial bleach, Hypochlorous Acid is industrial bleach, Ozon is industrial bleach. And yet all these industrial bleaches are being generated and used by the immune system to fight off pathogens 24/7. If it wasn't for industrial bleaches you would be dead.
Worn out immune systems can safely supplement with Chlorine Dioxide.

The side effects I have experienced with DMSO are mostly non existent. Slight side affect is odor. Some people think the odor is sulfur and some call it onions or garlic. The value of the relief of DMSO is so great that the tiny little problem of the odor is so insignificant and superficial that it ought to be ignored. If odor truly a problem for the significant people like your husband or your wife then plan your DMSO therapy together like husband and wife. (The two are one flesh according to Scripture). Slight irritation at site of application that goes away after a little time is one other small side affect. It might help to look at the side effects of some of the Poisons err, Drugs that those doctors try to shove down your throat. Now those are "side effects" that I can't live with. But a little odor, a little irritation on the skin, I Can handle that.

Hello everyone, my name is Justin. I just joined this forum today and I am very happy to be here. I am a 46 year old male.
I have some questions concerns aboat DMSO mixed with lemon juice. ever since first reading the book DMSO Natures Healer, and reading hundreds of personal testimonials I started to take 99.99% DMSO on and off over the years. I take it both topically and internally, making sure to dilute it down to 70% or less. I take it to try and relieve the aches and pains of life...surfing and rock climbing. As prevention to the calcification that comes with aging. I take it because I completely trust and believe in it's curative powers and health benefits.
Aboat two weeks ago I topically applied a mixture of DMSO 70% with fresh squeezed lemon juice, fresh aloe Vera pulp, and magnesium chloride oil to my head, face, neck back, chest and stomach. Then the next day, I had severe shooting pains in my stomach in the large colon area. Excuse me for being so graphic...lots of diarrhea, gas and the need to go to defecate many times a day. But I have no acid reflux. And otherwise my body feels great. This has been going on now for the last two weeks. I am concerned because I have never had any stomach problems in the past. I have been a vegetarian for the last 25 years, feeling strong and healthy with lots of energy. my digestion has always been good and regular. I eat very well, try and keep well hydrated and most importantly try to feed my mind positivity, love and kindness.
My question is ...what is going on down inside of my guts? I spent the last year in south east Asia, and six months in India. But I had no health issues. I didn't get sick. I am thinking that it may be the result of adding the lemon juice. I say that only because I have never added lemon juice to the equation topically. I have in the past ingested DMSO with MMS and lemon juice and or citric acid but I have never applied it topically. And also I have in the past practically bathed my whole body in DMSO from head to foot, with no negative side effects. So I am thinking that maybe the combination is awaking and or battling parasites or worms that I wasn't even aware of having. maybe all this funkiness is my colon cleaning itself out. But I have done several colon cleanses over the years and experimented with all kinds of natural medicines and cures. I don't know. I can't help but be concerned that maybe it was not a good idea to put this combination directly over my belly. I am concerned that maybe the pure undigested lemon juice, is burning my colon.
I will be doing a "complete dry fast" no water, no food over the coming weekend. I am curious to see if it will help to resolve or at least alleviate my upset belly.
If anyone has any thoughts aboat this. Questions and or comments, I would really appreciate it.
I am a big advocate of DMSO and MMS ...as well as fresh squeezed lemon juice ....yummm. I drink it every day.

CINDY, ORH here, and I have no clue why I am even in this conversation? You are aware that DMSO is one of the most power solvents there is? It takes stuff to where you want it to go. I am worth about 50 cents, but a race horse is worth millions and the owner uses it on his buddy full time. So, being a Redneck, I figure it works on million dollar race horse, it might work on a two bit guy like me. You took my bait and sinker as I wanted. When I say dumb things then D does not publish. Other folks say dumb things, they are in print. Let me keep this civil for one time. What I know is that Dr Jacobs knew more about the properties of DMSO that anyone. Would you read his book? This site does not need to become a slug feat, but there needs to have some gives and takes. That is what is missing here. We know the smart folks on EC, but sometimes they are just blowing smoke. But nobody takes them on. You have taken me on about DMSO being a carrier . I use it with all my pain liniments and you say that's bull. How do we have a debate and draw a conclusion? You mention the lymph system. I have stumbled into a few things in that regard. I am in CHF and thought I was gone a few months ago. My heart is so weak that my lymph was not getting out of my body. I went to the folks that wrap your legs, etc. I had the professional stockings and was improving but lying flat in the bed, my lungs were filling with fluid and I was drowning. That is frighting and spooky. I know how the lymph system works. the legs flows to your center and your head flows to your center. So I bought a bed that you can raise your head and your feet.Guess what, I stopped drowning. Gravity still works. Lymph has no pump like the heart, so gravity, exercise and vibration keeps this fluid moving. I am an engineer, not a doctor. but this is an engineering problem. Upon awaking I take a professional vibrator and trace my lymph system by the numbers. I have lost 30 #and weigh every morning. I did not lose muscle, I lost lymph. My situation is such that I have 2 to 5 more years to live. I am tight with the Lord, but want to hang around as long as I can......jus cause. I have successfully used DMSO for two severe skin growths--one was more than 7 years old--ugly right under my right eye. Gone is just 3 days--but about 50 consecutive treatments in that short time-that also included pricking the sore to initiate bleeding and then alternating hydrogen peroxide with DMSO and then alternating iodine with DMSO.

Hi there, I run a natural medicine practice in SA, I've been using DMSO for various ailments on my patients for about 2 years now. The latest case was of a elderly african man who suffered from a progressive stroke, he only reached my practice 2 days later, I quickly gave him 1 teaspoon of DMSO in water every 3 hours, the next day he was still lame on the left side and seemed to get worse, also he had incredible pain over the right lung area (pulmonary embolism?) nevertheless I carried on giving him the DMSO every three hours orally. The following day he was well enough to walk on the beach!
Ive also injected DMSO into knee joints for local pain, I myself am curently drinking DMSO in fruit juice twice daily (1 teaspoon) my energy levels have gone up and my skin is glowing. ( i also take MSM and VIT C daily to counteract the DMSO from turning into MSM in the body)
I also mix B12 and DMSO in a dropper bottle and apply 2 drops on my wrist when I need a boost.
Another good idea is to put 2 B5 tabs into a 15 litre dropper bottle and top it up with DMSO the tablets dissolve after an hour or so, this can be applied to the wrists as well to boost the adrenals for extra energy.

I'm always surprised about people who overdo or overdose or overtake things, substances be it good or bad! Do you really have to take so many things. All natural doesn't mean all good or safe. DMSO can be dangerous if you don't study about it. It brings everything that touches into your blood stream. Many years ago an Irish woman who used DMSO died but also she was under other medication, because of this DMSO got a bad name in US. It's written cause unknown. I guess she was taking other medications and may be DMSO triggered and brought into her system more than she was supposed to. Please read carefully what you must be careful when you use DMSO. NOT only DMSO though, better not to take too many kinds of things other than health food and drinks. More doesn't mean better often less is better heal slowly. Your filtering system can only take that much to detox and throw out of your body, if you do too much in a short period of time, your liver, kidneys, colon and bladder can't throw out toxins as fast as you detox your system. You MUST give your filtering system time to work accordingly. You are abusing your organs by taking too many things which you believe that they are good for health. Being Extreme is a DANGEROUS ATTITUDE. Balance your mind first then think of physical health.
Medical Grade vs Industrial DMSO

In response to Anne's post, the grade is not in reference to the amount of water in DMSO, it's in reference to purity, meaning that DMSO that is of pharmaceutical grade is 99.99% pure - the chances of it containing any solvents or other additives is minute.
This is the grade used in cryogenic preservation (shipment of organs for transplant), and in transdermal patches. The risk of any other grade is unknown unless you have access to a testing facility that can tell you what the other percentage is, i.e., the 1% or more which is not DMSO. That 1% can make all the difference when it comes to treating the human body, so misinformation can be damaging.
I use only 99.99% pure DMSO in my topical pain formula, just as I use only the highest grade essential oils and extracts, organic, extra-virgin coconut & olive oils, and organic grapeseed and hemp oils.

Hi Mystic Sage, I first used DMSO back in the 70's as a ballet dancer. My teacher/ mentor who was one of the great American ballerinas had used it throughout her career and familiarized me with it. Back then it was not used by humans (at least not the general public, dancers were using it. ) but she knew of it from the horse world in Saratoga Springs, NY of which they had been using it on race horses for a long time successfully. I continue to use it today in roll- on form. Once applied you do not need to rub it in but do let it dry before getting dressed. It is a powerful conductor so be careful what you are applying with it because it will drive it into the body.
As for MSM, I was introduced to it 16 years ago by my dad. He would always see me in pain from all my teaching and brought it to me in powder form although he had capsules as well. I was skeptical but tried it and my pain disappeared overnight! I was sold! Back then, my dad would add the powder to lotion to use topically since it was not available in creams at that time. Virtually no one knew of it and because I became such a believer in it, I would drive a distance to buy it from the distributor in boxes so I could get a bulk discount. I would give it to dancers and friends who had physical pain. To this day, I recommend it to all my students if they become really sore or if they feel they've injured a body part. I like to use it in powder form best since it goes directly into your system. Capsules are good for convenience but I personally don't think they're as potent. I use Omica which is completely plant- derived and non- petroleum derived. That company offers superior products of all that they carry. The first MSM I used all that time ago was OptiMSM. I always had great results with that as well.
As for DMSO orally, well since I use MSM orally I don't use DMSO that way. You can safely use them together. I have often. Also, there is plenty of information available on the internet on both of these so you really don't need to buy a book. As for the amount of MSM, I base it on my pain factor. Of course, I think it's always best to start low and build up if you aren't getting the results you wanted. I use a pretty healthy tablespoon, sometimes more, in a glass of water but then again, I'm used to these things...

DMSO causing infertility? I think that is quite the opposite of the truth: DMSO is used often to increase fertility in animals--most often cows/bulls, as far as I know. I'm sure using DMSO on your leg will be just fine. Also, DMSO is used very often in human in-vitro fertilization. After they fertilize eggs in the petri dish, and form zygotes, they are soaked in DMSO prior to cryo freezing. These frozen embryos make healthy babies at a really good rate after they are implanted.

I read that Oil of Oregano can kill the herpes virus in about 3 months. It said to mix a few drops with a carrier oil such as olive oil and put a drop under the tongue three times a day and swallow. Also rub on the low spine three times a day. Herpes hides in the low spine and also has a barrier so its hard to kill the virus. I was wondering if you used DMSO with the oregano oil on the low spine if the DMSO could penetrate the barrier and kill it with the oregano oil?

Nothing much happened from a dropperful dose of straight DMSO under the tongue! A bit of extra urination but that's it. Talk about an anti-climax. Could be because I often use it externally - I put it on EVERYthing, from my feet to my scalp - so I often have it on my hands and whatnot but...I don't know what I expected - something cool - like x-ray vision or the ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound!! ROFL - but no...nothing...poop...I'm sure it did something but it wasn't noticeable. Aside from a couple of extra pees.

GARY, ORH here, and again we have the blind leading the blind. My knowledge comes from Dr Jacob's books and he was the consultant to Crown Z, which did almost all of the R& D work. I worked for Crown Z in the '60s and with the supervisor of the CZ plant. Instead of speculating about DMSO, quote from Dr Jacob's books. Then, we are getting it straight from the horse's mouth. Besides, DMSO does not need anything to get into your body. You missed that a mile. You are right about bypassing your digestion system and the reason I use magnesium transdermally. I don't need an upset stomach.

They said the same thing about my dad, nearly 2 years ago & they were rushing us to make a decision about starting treatment. We decided to leave alone that 'Huge Tumor' (which would only give him no more than 4-7 months' time) that they were so concerned about & guess what? once the regular enlarged prostate issues subsided (with a little help from healthy diet & natural remedies such as Frankincense ('Boswellia') it turned out to be NOTHING after all. I've been suffering with a very large bone spur under my Achilles tendon on my heel. Every step feels like a knife stabbing me. I read about DMSO and bones spurs and decided to buy some. I got the gel 70% mixed with aloe vera. I've been putting it on for 2 days and I cannot believe the difference! I am thrilled! The only thing that bothers me is that when I put it on my heel, I have a tightness in my chest that I don't normally have. I take thyroid meds and am wondering if it is increasing the absorption. I also take several BP meds and I don't think it's bothered those. Has anyone else felt it has affected them in this way? And, should I dilute it with distilled water or what. I think this is really really effective and would like to continue using it but don't want to mess myself up.

Justin, I think you delivered a huge shot of magnesium to your body. DMSO plus magnesium plus large amount of body coverage. It's possible the magnesium is causing the gas and diarrhea. For two weeks--seems like a long time--but it was probably a lot of magnesium! Nothing to worry about--it is pretty benign.

I think that statement shows a misunderstanding of what it is in tap water. In most cities they put Fluoride into the water; there are multiple carcinogens not the least of which is the by product of chlorination/ disinfection: Trihalomethanes (sic). There are studies that have found low dose levels of pharmaceuticals such as birth control substances, heart medications, Viagra, and the list goes on and on and on. Let me be clear here, if you drink a glass of tap water it is not going to kill you today, but over the course of years the toxic accumulation will eventually begin to have its affect. Dr. Russell Blaylock has written extensively in his news letter on the toxicity of Fluoride, Dr. Mercola, on the Internet has much to say on the dangers of the water from the tap. I do not drink tap water unless it has been processed very carefully to remove as much of the Organic vapors and heavy metals etc as it is possible to do. From my own personal research and experimentation with virtually no equipment and just my reason, logic and common sense that I discovered so much Fluoride in a particular water supply in a predominately black/ Haitian neighborhood that I took the sample I had extracted( by a process of evaporation for several gallons of tap water to about a few ounces) to a water processing expert from the Pershing Yacht Company by the name of ******* that I met by chance one day and I handed him the sample of water and before he even had the jar in his hand he said, "That's fluoride". I said to him, "Are you telling me that you are certain that that is fluoride by just looking at it?" The addition of poison to water is a criminal activity and just about every town I have lived in adds this poison to the water and so people that are drinking tap water have put their lives into the hands of the people running the sewer system where the water is attenuated ( modified with the fluoride). This is like forced medication of a population. Tap water is a medication if it has been modified with Fluoride Cursed be he that trusts in man, says the Bible. Please be aware Fluoride is classified as a toxin. So if a man is going to recommend that "He's not too worried about the tap water" and he is talking about DMSO ( which is a transport chemical) perhaps it would be beneficial to take heed. DMSO and H2O2 for Migraines:
My boyfriend gets constant and debilitating migraine headaches for the past several years (about once or twice a week)... it is what first brought me to Earthclinic many months ago when I started researching. He has ever since been by guinea pig!! I think that there's a lot of it to do with nutritional deficiencies (which I am still figuring out...) but I FINALLY came up with something that works QUICK in the meantime until I figure out the root cause this treats the symptoms.
I was reading about DMSO and how it could theoretically be used to treat a stroke in an emergency, and I was thinking that headaches have similar problems of lack of oxygen to the brain...
so when he came over this morning w a terrible headache that had lasted all night and not been relieved by Amerge or Flova prescription migraine pills...
I mixed him a cocktail of organic "Monster C" juice, about 1 cup (8 oz.) with about 1/8 teaspoon of DMSO and added a few drops of food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide. He drank this.
We then applied an icepack to his forehead and within 20 minutes, the headache that had lasted for about 8 hours went away completely!
So happy! Hopes this remedy helps someone else.

I have arthritis in my hands and wrists and bad knees pretty bad, not immobile but really flares up on occasion. I have found that mixing 2 large heaping spoon fulls of Blu-Emu extra strength with 5 droppers of DMSO and 5 droppers of refined Emu oil together will make the pain practically go away for 10-12 hrs. The DMSO really helps the ointment absorb into the skin much faster and works along with the ointment really fast. Give it a try, can't hurt!
