I read about DMSO in Kevin T.'s book. I was interested enough to buy it and try it for sinus headaches. I mixed 2 tablespoons DMSO in 3oz of filtered water & 1oz hydrogen peroxide. This solution sprayed and inhaled helped a lot with sinus headaches and colds.
I dropped a blow dryer on my pinky toe slashing my toe open about 1/2 an inch. It was a horrible cut and the pain was extreme. It hurt so bad and I lost so much blood (I had just got out of a hot tub) I nearly passed out. My husband helped me to the bed. I asked him to get me the DMSO spray. He sprayed it on my toe (one tiny squirt for starters in case it made things worse) and I felt immediate relief so I asked him to spray it real good. The pain totally disappeared. The toe had already started turning black along with the toe next to it. I covered my foot with a loose damp towel and just laid there for 20 minutes. My husband was after me to go to hospital to get stitches because it was bleeding so bad. He opened the towel while he was telling me if it was still bleeding I had to get stitches. Well to our surprise the wound had closed. The blackness was now pink. So I didn't have to go to the hospital and come home or die from a staph infection received from the hospital.
2 other incidents it healed were:
1.) A wound where a knife was stabbed under the finger nail of a child (the child was trying to open a toy w/ a knife against parents wishes - not my child) - healed with 48 hours
2.) A wound where the hand was caught in a trolling motor propeller. - healed within 24 hours
Both people received immediate relief.
I also use it about twice a year for carpal tunnel syndrome. I apply 90% DMSO to my wrist and keep a wet paper towel nearby. When it starts to sting I wipe the stinging area removing the DMSO, by the time each area has been wiped the symptoms are gone and my hand is back to normal. I'm always careful with it and totally clean. My theory is if you can't drink it don't get it near DMSO when using DMSO.

Great! .. Just be careful with using DMSO with Saran Wrap... For the chemicals in the plastic Saran Wrap will go directly into your bloodstream via the DMSO! ... I don't think you want that.

I have heard many tell of how they went from earth, to Glory and back to earth stories.
And if you are not a resident within the gates of pearls or the gate of hell you have simply been given more time.
Almost every one that I have heard tell the story of the Light, and many tell of feeling liquid love around them, even those who did not believe in Love.
If you are back in your body there is more to the life and death story to experience.
My brother tell's of how in his young gang banging days, at about 16 years old he almost died. I know that he was almost beaten to death with a baseball bat. His friends called mother and said he was dead.
He told me of his tunnel and light experience. He repeats his story usually when a friend dies. Yet he knows he did not make the whole trip. And if anyone says they are in a better place, he asks how do you know have you been there?
I try to console him by saying, maybe the speaker is saying heaven is better than hell.

I'm not going to "nebulize" DMSO but I DO take the stopper out and inhale the vapors. I don't really have any issues but I can definitely feel it, nevertheless. I also do that, occasionally, with hydrogen peroxide, ClO2 and an extra strong cayenne tincture I made. Though not at the same time, mind you. They all have an effect, inhaling the vapors, but I don't really have any issues so can't attest to the effect any of them would have on a problem.
I DO wish I'd tried inhaling the cayenne tincture vapors 0 and the others if the cayenne didn't work - when I had that sinus awfulness after Covid, but didn't think of it until later.
I'm going to "wild ferment" some cayenne peppers all the way through the bubbling and try inhaling vapors (and maybe some probiotics) from THAT - without the CO2, of course. But I'll wait for some sort of sinus "thing". I'm thinking I'll just put some in a little pinch bowl with a bit of the brine and inhale whatever probiotics might come off it, see what happens. I don't get sinus infections but I DO get stuffy when the house does.

The DMSO fixed my sore throat before it spread to full blown, on both sides. It also, apparently, eliminated some swelling in my neck that I hadn't realized WAS swelling. Not sure what that's about.
Haven't used the ear drops yet but put some of the DMSO aloe on a q-tip and ran that around in both ears, which are now popping - both on their own and when I swallow. So that' at approximately 5 minutes. Interesting.

Dr Stanley Jacobs stated that DMSO is such an effective solvent that its action is similar to an injection! I would just use a carrier oil like jojoba or Castor and then apply. This also protects your hands from any dryness. Good luck.

Be very careful with DMSO. It's a great product but remember it will carry anything it's connected to through the skin - bacteria, viruses, dirt. So while its anti-inflammatory properties are great and you hook it up with the Ellawood to get it in, it can also take anything else so you have to have a scrupulous technique and make sure your hands are clean. Make sure you got medical grade DMSO for that matter.

Dear Glo,
I have 99.9% DMSO that I got at the farm store. I just dilute it for topical use. I believe that it is not recommended to use more than 70% DMSO topically. So, you could dilute 2/3 DMSO with 1/3 distilled water to get about 66%, which is close enough, I think. I have also diluted it half and half with castor oil, Colloidal Silver, Aloe Gel, and Mullein Root tincture, depending on what I am treating.
I have found it helpful and hope you do, too!

It is called "solvation." It is not, strictly speaking, a chemical reaction, as the molecules themselves are not altered--only their nearest-neighbor relationships change. The DMSO molecules like to be in contact with water molecules -- the total energy is lower, therefore potential energy is released as heat. The same thing happens when you mix salt with water, though the effect is too small to notice.

I am looking into this idea of "Oil Pulling". And if it does work, why would DMSO not be a good idea? DMSO has some of the characteristics of an oil. I started last night with DMSO and I did it this morning too. I used pure 99.9 percent pure DMSO. It has a warming effect. I did not find it objectionable at all. (If I kick the bucket, please ignore anything I have ever said because I never met Jack, and not know Jack).

I would be careful using DMSO as an oil pulling "oil". The bacteria from any dental plague in your mouth will get absorbed into your bloodstream and might cause heart problems like Infectious Endocarditis. If I were you, I would only use the traditional oils that have been used for centuries in this particular technique.

Thanks so much for yor response. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I just broke my first fast- a 72 hour dry fast. Wow. That was by far one of the most intense experiences that I have ever willingly put myself through. Especially because for the last two weeks my bowels were totally out of wack and having so much diarea. I think I went into the fast very much dehydrated. Then on top of that I am and always have been very thin with probably -50 % body fat. So I immediately turned into a living skeleton. That is why I didn't continue. I was in fact feeling really good. No healing reactions to speak of. actually I had a surprising amount of mental and physical energy. at times I felt like I was flying. And my bowels feel much better, having given them a vacation. But in the end I just let myself be consumed by fantasies of water, flowing rivers and pools of sweet colorful juice. I was living always just out of reach of the most mouth life saving mirage. And finally on the third night when I first looked at myself in the mirror I was shocked to see the grissle I had reduced myself too. I was thinking to continue fasting but I was concerned that if I passed through another night I just may disappear all together.
Now I am two days into breaking the fast. Slowly slowly. chewing my water and fresh coconut water. Yesterday I drank a the juice of the most heavenly watermelon. Today more water, coconut water and maybe some mango juice. mmmm I can't wait.

I spent a considerable amount of time reading aboat peoples personal testimonials using all kinds of treatments. most recently I have been reading all that I can on the uses of Turpentine for healing. Update:
I made a bottle of cayenne extract with coconut oil and a spot of kosher glycerin and I put it on the shelf. I picked it up yesterday off the shelf and have not yet used it. It is too late to try it today because I have already applied a blend I made yesterday and I don't want to confuse the experiment. I like yesterday's blend which is DMSO, glycerine, Aloe Vera juice and homemade cayenne extract in alcohol. So far I am liking the blend. It is mild, yet still generates a heat pad affect. I may try this type of blend with Extract of Bhut Jolokia extract. It will be very hot I am certain but for a bad flare up it would probably be perfect for the relief. Thank you, and I am going back to work.

Re; ear infection; Before you do anything else you might want to go over to the "pets" section on this site where you will find something called "Blue Juice" for ear infections in dogs. Ahh hate to admit it but it works just as well in human ears. ( Yes, I tried it myself, no harm and it works swell.) Good luck hope you feel better!!!!

I put a complete copy of the book DMSO: The Persecuted Drug by Pat McGrady as a mirror of the other copy so that there is a second copy on the web. Having several backups of information like this is helpful. What I see is that the Medical Industrial Complex has control issues and they don't like people learning too much and they use the police power of the state to enforce their arbitrary codes/laws. There is no money to be made in fees on DMSO. It is not patentable because it is a natural substance. This is a miracle substance and it is cheap and it does major good. Nobody is interested in cheap because there is no profit to be made. There is no money telling people to use a product they can go to the store and buy themselves.

I've bought some sprayer bottles (amber glass) on ebay for trans dermal applications, but am now concerned over comments here which indicated that some plastics are affected by DMSO. A friend of mine uses Cedarwood oil, Yucca Extract, then DMSO on his head & he has new growth. His hair loss was pretty typical of most cases, the first to go are the front & the top of the back of his head. He's pretty encouraged, wasn't taking it very seriously when I started him on it but now he's the one reaching for the bottles.

Arginine and almonds will make my herpes break out. Arginine was promoted for adding strength and muscle size while working out, gets a big promo from the body building world and it works BUT IF YOU HAVE HERPES IT'S LIKE PUTTING GAS ON A FIRE. If you just have to have arginine, take Lysine. Lysine is good for putting a dampener on viruses like herpes etc.

When I was in my early twenties, (I am now 71) my cousin, and I went to Jamaica. After my morning shower, which was cold, I brushed my teeth and gargled with some pretty gnarly tasting water.
Upon climbing the stairs to my room, I noticed an open air cistern on top of the building, where I had just showered. That was obviously the source of the water for my shower, etc. It was also the source of a myriad of parasites and bacteria that I became infected with.
Lizards, birds, and small, furry animals, etc. had been drinking and relieving themselves in that cystern that I drank from. What a cruel trick! For literally decades, I suffered with digestive issues and overwhelming pain. God only knows what that water contained.
Nothing that I ever tried helped to ease my suffering. Apparently many bacteria, such as H pylori are protected by tenacious bio films, which make them almost impossible to eradicate.
I tried literally hundreds of remedies over the decades to ease my suffering, all to no avail. I had constant, horrible pain from gas, indigestion, parasites, fungus and ulcers.
The bio films protected the H. Pylori bacteria, which was causing my problems. Nothing I ever tried could break through the bio films. Enter DMSO. Dimethyl Sulfoxide is an industrial solvent, which is derived from Pine trees. It has a long history of use in sports injuries. It's also used in equestrian circles to ease the pain of horse injuries. It has a unique quality that makes it a fantastic transdermal compound. When applied to clean skin, it can be combined with other natural compounds, and it will carry the compound through the skin and into the bloodstream. Understanding the properties of DMSO, I had a hunch that because of its intense solvent properties that I may be able to use it to break the biofilms.
I combined 99.9% pure DMSO, approved for clinical use, with pure distilled water, a 50/50 blend. I began taking two 1ml droppers full, orally, twice a day. I then rinsed my mouth with another glass of distilled water. I took this on an empty stomach, so it didn't react with the contents of my stomach. I followed this procedure for two weeks, and VOILA!!! My ulcer pain vanished. I no longer had painful gas. My digestion improved, and my gluten intolerance was dramatically improved. I'm not willing to say that it completely healed me, but it did more to improve my digestion than anything else I have ever tried. My advice to anyone interested in trying this, is to first read up on dmso because it can be dangerous if improperly used. Not necessarily. You can't make a blanket statement about what causes peripheral edema. Yes, kidney failure can cause it. However, it could also be caused by a sluggish lymph system or low functioning thyroid gland.

I have a friend with lung cancer, I am not sure what stage. She has been taking Rick Simpson Oil, but recent tests show new tumors and tumor growth. I once read a study showing Oil of Oregano killed lung cancer tumors AND encouraged new tissue regeneration. I am searching now for how to use DMSO with RSO or Oil of Oregano to help her... Can you please explain the protocol your friends with cancer used?

I too began to use DMSO a few days ago and initially did not notice any smell or weird taste as I was expecting. Later on I noticed that there was a very subtle smell after all, the kind that you might not even notice yourself, but only your partner will :) Luckily my wife is with me on the experiment so she doesn't mind.
I also heard that the smell or taste is more often seen in men than in women.
Regarding the stinging and sunburn-like sensation - I had that as well. It also depends on what part of the body you are applying it to. Neck and shoulders tend to be the most sensitive, while knees and elbows can tolerate concentrated DMSO. Diluting the DMSO a bit more took care of the issue. Also, when I mistakenly put some strong DMSO on my face and it started burning like crazy and got red and scary, a few drops of diluted lavender oil fixed it in just a few minutes.

My husband doesn't smoke and doesn't use DMSO and when I do use the 70% gel topically, he says that the whole room stinks like sulphur (garlic, onion smell) although I can't even smell it in my own breath, he can. He says it's a romance killer. Because of that I skip going to the gym when on it.

You used a couple dropper fulls of 2%, that is a lot! Even after the chernoybl nuclear fallout in europe people close were told to take no more than 1-5 drops a day to protect their thyroids of lugols 2% by medical doctors.

The warm feeling is actually a reaction with the water in your skin, not an increase in porosity. DMSO doesn't increase porosity or permeability; it simply dissolves a variety of compounds and is able to transport them quickly through your skin. It's nothing to worry about but it's the exact same thing you noticed when diluting it with water to a much lesser scale.

It does not make sense to me that the DMSO would draw into the bloodstream a large thing like a bacteria. It is too big. I would not think it could make it through the blood barrier. From what I understand is that DMSO transports light, small molecules.

My issue with "Oil-Pulling" with DMSO is the tooth throbbing I get in one of my mid teeth. I do like the sensation of the warming that I get though. Like a gentle heat pad for the mouth. I don't "Oil-Pull" with DMSO every day.

The critical issue with chlorine dioxide (MMS) is the concentration. I have never used it, like apple cider vinegar. I'm afraid of its reaction with my Barrett's Esophagus. As for asking the doctor's advice, I am very wary of that due to most of them getting with the govt. narrative on Covid, Lockdowns, masks and jabs.

Although this post is 7 years old, I just had an experience in Mexico after traveling there 3 times this year on business. Upon each return my system was a bit out of sorts. This month I had something like an IBS attack (stomach was in great pain which caused bad lower back pain). Acupuncture, DMSO and a low does of CBD/THS (2.5mg each) helped. After about 3 days of pain, I remembered the discomfort was similar to having a horrible parasite many years ago. Reintroduced an IBS elemental liquid diet with absorb plus (also bone broth) to calm inflamed intestines and 1/2t pure gum spirits of turpentine to kill whatever it was. I keep turp on hand and will start traveling with it in the future especially to third world countries. After the second day of the diet, the discomfort stopped but still eating foods that are easy to digest. I suggest researching absorb plus, and Dr. Jennifer Daniels about gum spirits.

I don't notice the smell of DMSO for the most part. Apparently some people do. I had a clerk in a cheap store tell me today that she wanted me to do something about my odour because she said that somebody complained about the smell when I was in the store. I asked her how she knew that it was me? Then I asked the other obvious question: Are you going to shop for me? Where am I going to shop? Then I told her, "I have to take the medication that I have to take".
I didn't hear another word out of her. But she did not bother to even bag up my stuff that I bought.
I know there are many people taking DMSO and I have never heard of anyone complaining to anyone else.
I am thinking that people who smoke cigarettes may be more sensitive to the smell of DMSO. Can anyone echo that?

ok. I went and purchased DMSO last week finally for myself and a couple of friends. I have been using it for about a week now. First couple of days I mixed it with povidine iodine. It was the closest thing I could come to potassium iodide. I sent some articles about sski
as to why I mixed the two. Side effects. awful taste in your mouth. supposedly your body smells, I didn't notice, but I do taste it in my mouth for days after using it. Supposedly less than a teaspoon a day won't affect your body odor but who knows. my breath is awful! I'm thinking a drop of peppermint oil.
I used it on some varicose veins, a scab on my leg, that's been there since the end of Sept., a muscle on my other leg that needed some serious stretching, I believe I had permanently strained it a while back, I also used it on some scarring, some with raised keloids on them.
So far, besides the taste in my mouth it's all good. Within one day the muscle in my calf was better, within a few days the varicose vein that had been there for 20 years is kind of fading, the scar keloids are dissolving, the scabs and scars appear to be fading.
Then I added oregano oil in olive oil. Why? it fights yeast. In alternative medicine yeast is the root of all illness. I got sick as a dog within hours. Try to remember when you use this stuff that it boosts whatever you are taking into your body. That means if you are enjoying mouth amusement? ie. something with alot of sugar or not particularly good for you? you will pay.
The supplements I am taking along with this is MSM, vita c, wild yam, black cohosh, chasteberry, magnesium citrate, st. johns wort.
I've stopped craving coffee, although I still drink it. I didn't have chocolate until yesterday after going 24 hours without coffee. I also neglected my magnesium supplements for a day. Chocolate cravings have to do with a Magnesium defficiency. :)
I just put it on my doggie's hot spot on his paw as well as some scabs on his back from his extreme flea allergy.
I'm psyched about this stuff :)

If you take Virgin Coconut oil, herpiees and cold sore out breaks will be a thing of the past. the DMSO is good but rather than trying to prevent one coming on...the VCO will stop it all together and drop all viral loads to extremely low levels. Also the "BUDWIG DIET" with Flax or HEMP oil also has similar results.

Wow I've heard of DMSO more than a year ago but never actually used it. Anyone who suffers from years of cold sores needs to know about the High L-Lysine and Low L-Arginine diet. It is this high ratio that keeps viruses dormant. Stress depeletes l-lysine and so does sugar, exercise and sex and ongoing insufficient sleep which also reduces other stress coping chemistry. Think how many times outbreaks occur in conjunction with these events in your life.

Thanks for posting this! I've had covid twice and I'm 68. Having problems with memory. I used to play piano and recently took it back up but find it so difficult. Lots of little things have been happening that I believe are related to long covid. I found pharmaceutical grade dmso online, but worried about ordering it because it will show up in my mailbox and since we still have freezing temps I don't want it to freeze. I will definitely be trying the teaspoon of dmso in distilled water! Thanks!

Hi, can you please tell me what brand, what percent of DMSO, and where you get it please. I have the Long Haul Covid and have had a very bad time of it. My WBC and platelets keep going down and I don't know why. My doc says it may just be my system trying to deal with the remnants of the virus. I have recently started to experience jaw pain, and nerve pain on the lower right side causing nerve pain in those teeth. At first I thought I had an ear infection went to the doctor about that and my doctor said it was a sinus infection. I went to see my dentist and he explained that the nerve pain was from clenching my teeth on one side. He put some temporary pain medicine on those molars but it only lasted a day.
I stumbled on DMSO read up on it and ordered some pharmaceutical grade DMSO. I dabbed full strength on my back teeth and on my gums. in about 5 minutes all the pain was gone. I also put some down my jaw line and next to my ear and immediately I had experience relief.

I haven't, no. I don't use essential oils - aside from repeated attempts to replicate the fragrance of an AWESOME body spray I had 20+ years ago called "Grapefruit & Daisy" which I didn't discover was a "special edition" until half past "too late".
Do you diffuse with DMSO? I want to see what it might draw out of cayenne but haven't gotten around to that. Cayenne and castor oil seem to have some sort of electrical activity to them that I don't think survives the process of a tincture whereas cayenne doesn't seem at all affected as a tea, which is strange...with the amount of actual heat used to make tea...but I can't actually be sure of that. DMSO seems to have an electrical aspect to it as well but I don't think it's the same. Cayenne and castor oil seem alike but DMSO seems..."deeper" or...something like that. Even to the point of incompatibility with a lot of things. Like MMS, which seems to be on the other, high side of what seems like a scale and also not very compatible with much...I don't know...

I think the "electrical" thing is a matter of using two (or more) things together, if they're close to the same, they interfere with one another but if they're far enough apart, they can work - not TOGETHER but - in TANDEM. Where one does its thing and the other does its thing and they sort of end up cleaning up after one another. Like MMS and DMSO. They're very different but appear to sort of "support" one another. Whereas they don't seem to work well with "middle of the road" things. Perhaps, being "too close" to them, when it comes to their "electrical" properties. Or, perhaps, the...frequencies (?) of their "microcurrents". Which is something I've only recently discovered are actually recognized, scientifically.

All that work in a chemical process plant inhale the fumes, at least they did in the 60's. One employee did get the flu, but got it when working as a vacation relief in another department. I guess from that, you might assume it has to be a continuous thing. Myself, I nebulize reduced Glutathione in a saline solution. Never read, nor was told to do this. Strangely, men seem more susceptible to a fear of death. I suspect, due to a life of pumping testosterone, creating instances of not always "doing the right thing" and the judgement angle.
I'm glad to know that a woman took it as intended. It was interesting and a hoot but wasn't actually a "big deal". Which was sort of...I don't want to say "disappointing" but I would have thought it would have been more...exciting...I guess. Anyway...lol - I was young and an explorer and so...everything was exciting.

By not needing anything to get into the body, what are you referring to?
Aromatically is the fasted way for anything to enter the body.
Transdermally, your are fighting through 4 layers of skin, 5 on the palms and feet.
I do not see it as possible for the full dose to make it through the skin. Plus the constant uptake to keep the dose high enough to the area applied.
