My husband and I are using this mixture in the hope of reducing our cholestrol levels. I have just made our second batch but wasn't aware you shouldn't mix the ginger/garlic with water :-(

Does it mean this lot will now be ineffective?

I will return when we have visited the doctor again for re-test of cholestrol levels.

That sounds good. Do you simmer it too? Can we take it raw? I don't understand why we need to use the heat.

We have prepared the ACV, Garlic, Ginger, Lemon mixture at our residence. We have not boiled it (as suggested by site). I have started taking 2 spoon with water on empty stomach.

Is it ok? or should I take it without water??? PLEASE REPLY.

★★★★★

I just made it last night. Used a slow juicer for 16 medium cloves of garlic, about 600gm ginger, 3 lemons & a pyrex bowl to cook. The final mixture color is yellowish ochre. (Includes 1 cup of apple cider + 1 cup of honey)

I will consume it for general health maintenance.

My aunt has started consuming 1 tbsp before breakfast for 3 weeks now, & she confirmed that there is no change in the color of her mixture. Good for bowel movement, too.

[Tips: Can use the ginger & garlic pulp for cooking or fry them in oil & add a tbsp for salad dressing or food.}

Yes i'd say that would be adequate, if you make it into a paste with butter or oil on bread or something similar, it makes it more palatable, some people like the heat, so its up to you. It increases the effect of other treatments as well by opening up the small capillaries.

Hi, This is Miten from India/Bombay and I read about the mixture of ACV, Ginger, Garlic, Lemon & Honey juice which would be effective. I was tested high cholesterol and thyroid level a month back and I am taking medicine like thyroine (thyroid) & Roseday-F (for cholestrol). I would like to know I may have NO Blockages (which I havent tested yet) or any heart attack then regular use of this mixture is useful?

Regards, Miten

Hello, everyone!

I need some ideas from everyone.

I'm in a situation of has no access of refrigerator or a juicer . Is there any way I can make this 5 ingredient tonic without them in small quantities? I'm a taxi driver and constantly driving . Yesterday, I just walked towards to the store and I felt dizzy and my calves are in pains just by waking 300 ft!! I felt this isn't a good sign at all and decided to make this tonic but because I'm constantly driving away from my place basically has no access of refrigerator or the juicer. I was thinking if I can make this in a very small portion that would be wonderful.

You should have your potassium and magnesium levels checked via blood test.

what do you mean by an earthenware pot? I don't have one, can I use a substitute of something else? what a bout stainless steel?

Lee, from the instructions it looks like you need to avoid stainless steel. If you have a crock pot/slow cooker you could use that if it has an earthenware (china) inner. Note that only wooden utensils are used.

I think I would also add cayenne pepper into this (1 450mg capsule) or a couple of teaspoons.

Sandra: Not sure to agree or disagree with your position as it has been long advised that cooking with ironware is a good way to get Iron in the diet/body. Colloidal Silver Generators produce high levels of Ionic Silver for human consumption for ant-pathogen treatment.

Of course, Ionic Trace Minerals is our best source of (trace) minerals. Cooked or supplemented Liver is also a good source of minerals, which, ironically is not a vegetable source.

Hello Baldev, I have made some ACV+garlic+lemon per instruction and found the juice has turned dark green in color. Is it normal color for the mixture? Thank for your reply.

Hi Patrick, Well, I don't think that the color would be greenish. Since we add the honey in to the mixture that gives a kind of dark color to it. But, as I have said earlier if the mixture is kept in the fridge it is ok to use. Because if it is kept out in the room temp. It gets fermented and then the taste is affected, but as for benifits are concerned in my opinion should not change, because fermented food to some extent is healthy, like khimchi, ACV. Good Luck

Hi, My husband had a heart attack 6 years ago and since then he is in doctor's control taking statins, aspirin, digoxin. But these drugs' side effects, especially statins, are severe. Can he use the garlic, ginger, lemon & ginger recipe instead of statins and digoxin to control his cholestrol? He has stent in one of his arteries.

Hi, This is in response to Abhi, Rameshchandra, David, Tara and Raghav, heart attack and having stent placed is no disqualification to take the natural things. All the ingredients of the mixture you are talking about are what we eat day to day, they are very healthy and are heart friendly and under no circumstances they will harm the heart. Ted and Bill have written a lot on this subject on this site so feel free to take it. Statins on the contrary have very strong side effects and in my opinion should be avoided as for as possible, they do less good and more harm. Ted on this site has recommended lemon oil 10 drops twice a day as a good aid to clean the arteries. Good Luck

I agree with Gavin specifically but generally the goal is to reduce the amount of pharmaceutical meds to at least half. Tell your doctor that you would not like to continue taking this large amount of meds indefinitely. Mention you are eating heart healthy food and would like smaller doses (mg) to coincide with your new diet.

As for the natural regimen for artery cleaning, "start low and go slow" is the safe method.

Supplementing Carnitine and CoQ10 will significantly strengthen and improve the Heart.

Hi Davinder - Like the others said, you will need to do some research before combining conventional medications with alternative methods.

Is it possible for you to see a naturopath or find a doctor who is open to a more natural approach to health?

Having said that, there is some interesting information on serrapeptase for heart health on the internet.Well worth checking out. Good luck!

The likely reason for weight gain is that your digestive system has become more efficient due to changes in gut flora, and is now absorbing more nutrients. This is seen also in livestock when feeding them lower doses of antibiotics:

"sub-therapeutic antibiotic treatment has been shown to increase growth rate and weight gain in a wide variety of livestock, including chickens, pigs, cows, and sheep, indicating an evolutionarily conserved relationship between microbes and host metabolism"

Barbara in San Antonio: did it help? My husband has heart problems (valve calcifications)- he is drinking IT once a day--his appointment with cardiologist is 1/20/15! So until that time he agreed to try IT. by IT I describe the stuff that we do. He was afraid of ACV because of his acid reflux so for first batch we used 3 lemons, 3 huge apples, big chunk of ginger and 5 bulbs of garlic. Juiced it all, boiled and simmered for 30 min (turned greenish) and added 3 tbsp. of honey (not more because of his diabetes. His stomach was ok with it so for the second batch we doubled ginger, garlic, lemons, used 3 apples again and half cup of ACV. This time it did not change color but this time I didn't boil it before simmering. I think this is better. He drinks it now, his stomach is fine, but he still gets breathless sometimes... too often... For the third batch I want to use 1 full cup of ACV and no apples. PLEASE advise me how many lemons, bulbs of garlic, how big a piece of ginger to make 1 cup of juice from each???

I have to blend it first before my juicer takes it so I really need to know quantities.

Hi,

My name is Raj and recently in my Angiography I came to know that I have 100% RCA (right coronary artery) blockage and remaining everything shows up normal. My age is 30 years. I have Blood Pressure. I am using the below drugs. Could you please update me if I can use this Natural Medicine with the Tablets?

1) Clopilet

2) Flavedon

3) Cardivas

4) Rozavel

5) Losartan.

I have prepared the natural medicine in home and it is ready for me to use it.

Could you please update me if the 100% blockage can be reduced by this medicine.

I am really suffering a lot, since I do not have any symptoms at all and really shocked after meeting the doctor and after the angiography. We are planning for kids.

Please your help is very much appreciated and can help my life go smoother.
