Hello, I have tried to drink the ACV with water in the morning and it seems to upset my stomach, so it occured to me the other day to try it in the evening after dinner, so I did. I have only been doing this for the past 3 days but I can tell you that it does not bother my stomach and I do only sip my water not gulp it down at once. I also mix a little organic lemon juice in mine to add flavor and just a few drops of liquid stevia to sweeten. I think I am sleeping better and I dont seem to have the sneezing episodes quite as much as I have been having during the day at work. I work in an office and handle alot of paper and files during my work day which I think adds to my sneezing but it has eased up some since I began doing this at night.

WOW, allergy-induced sinus and upper respiratory infection feels better after just 1 tbs ACV w. honey in water plus ACV & Eucalyptus steam. I will keep this up! Also going to go on Ted's common sense and easy to use "allergy buster" diet. Will it help me tolerate the gorgeous oak trees around my house? We'll see but so far, I'm SO GRATEFUL for the reader feedback on the ACV. It helped me try this folk remedy, which so far is helping a lot. THANKS ALL.

ACV for allergies and Sinus issues, I'm presently in a shack in the mountains with 2 hairy dogs going out of my brain with hangover feeling/scratchy eyes/mucus and sinus issues (this is whilst eating pure organic food ACV bicarb etc). Last night before bed i felt compelled to sniff diluted ACV up my nose, (swimming pool effect)-desperate. Upon waking I still felt groggy, repeated the solution and within 10 minutes my head and nose cleared. It's going to be a good day. Thanks Earth Clinic x

I'm allergic to everything under the sun pretty much and have had to take medications all my life for it. Nothing has ever worked and so I have to function in a constant zombie like state because I'm really sensative to the medication and still on the bad days I don't sleep and can't do anything because of the nonstop sneezing. I remembered this site from a while ago and tried the ACV and the honey.
What I did:
Twice a day -
1) I mix 2 tablespoons of all natural ACV into about 6-8 ounces of all natural apple juice (I use the apple juice as a remedy for my asthma already), the apple juice makes the taste easier to drink and makes for less burning of the throat. If you're having an allergy attack, your throat is raw from all the sneezing and the ACV can sting a bit, using the apple juice really helps.
2) I spread a tiny bit of peanut butter on a slice of wheat bread and then spread 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of honey (not local) and eat that. I do this to a) help kill the taste of the ACV and b) to avoid the upset stomach feeling that can happen when you swallow that much honey by itself. If you're allergic to peanuts, use a jam or the bread alone.
My results:
I started it the night (late at night) of a very bad allergy attack that had been going on for 2 days, within one hour I wasn't "cured" but I could breathe and wasn't sneezing as much. That night I slept with no problems and did not take any further allergy medicines. It has been a week and a day since then and I've been following the above routine the entire time without taking a single pill. I can now go out and not get sick for 3 days afterwards, which used to happen everytime I left the house. I have severe allergies and the ACV and honey have worked wonders for me even when the air quality is really bad.
Added benefits:
Since starting with the ACV - I have lost 2 pounds and a few inches from my waistline. And my Psoriasis is flaring up less severely (I also treat with ACV on the skin for this). Acne is no longer! And scares I have had for a while as well as new ones are lighter. Plus my skin over all is more even toned.
Asthma Benefit: I drink about 2 glasses of apple juice a day to help prevent asthma attacks and general asthma issues for my severe asthma. Since adding the ACV I find that the benefit works even better and I can breathe clearer and use my inhalor less.

Allergies: I have been on Claritin then Arieus for a 5 of years now. I found that Arieus to be weakening so I wanted to try alternative remedies as I don't like the "steroid" nasal sprays. ACV seems to to work so far as I have not used any drugs yet since mid March. I have only tried 1/2 to 1 table spoon with 1/2 tbl spoon of honey in warm water. (Used 1/2 cup of cold to mix with ACV then 1/2 cup of boiling to melt honey, then mix to get "warm" drink) I have not used baking soda yet as I am still not adventurous about a chemical reaction happening in my stomach that is not normal. I found a side benefit of ACV usage is it suppresses the onset of a cold and I have not been sick due to cold or flu yet. I know the cold is there but it is not going into full swing. I also use a straw to prevent the ACV corrupting teeth so thanks to a poster for that. (always good to read all comments) I will try this remedy for a year and report back in 10 months.

I have been using 1 Tblspn ACV in 4 oz water (no honey) for over 2 years now, and I haven't had to take any allergy medications,my hot flashes eased within days, and my skin does not look like that of a 50 year old woman who literally baked in the sun her entire life (smooth and no wrinkles) :)

I have had horrible sinus problems for almost a year. My doctor deeps prescribing different allergy medicines. No matter which one, the side effects were much worse than having a constantly clogged nose. Don't we all need to be alert? I have been hearing about ACV from some of my "natural" friends and family and thought nothing of it until I found this website. I started doing "shots" of ACV 2 days ago and already noticed a big difference! If you mix that with water - there's just more of it to drink - plus when you're really really clogged you can't taste much of it anyway. The natural tastes better!

I am writing to tell everyone with allergies to try the ACV cure. My husband suffered allergies so bad over the past several years that he would get non-stop sinus infections and dizziness that would eventually require steroid shots-EVERY YEAR-to get any relief. Well...this year I was looking up natural remedies and found the ACV one. I initially gave him 1/4c (found on another site) and he had immediate relief within 5 minutes. Afterwards I found this site and took it down to 2tbsp,(happier man), 3xday for 2days then 2tbs daily for another day or two. He has had to repeat the 2tbsp a day twice since the start of May,now Sept. Nothing needed since. We used an unfiltered Organic brand of ACV. I've read that ACV is a natural antihistamine (with no drowsy side effect, how great is that?)Now if only I could get my children to take some.. Hope this helps anyone who's desperate to get allergy relief.

I have a friend who suggested taking about 1/4 cup organic grape juice with 2 capfuls of Organic Apple Cider to help with seasonal allergies. It tastes better than water and we knock it back fast- no sipping, because it's strong!! It really really seems to help stop the runny nose, itchy eyes, etc. that we usually suffer from each spring and fall. I'm a believer!

Results of use of ACV: I began to take it after suffering some bouts with acid reflux, I have yet to have another bout since taking it months ago. I was also experiencing problems with allergies such as congestion and runny nose. All of the symptoms are gone. For the pas three years my blood pressure readings had been high like 158/94. My last very recent physical almost floored my physician when it read 128/68. I am convinced.

I've been taking apple cider vinegar for a few months now. It's been the best thing I've tried for allergies. I was getting really sick with allergies and frequent sinus infections. On one occasion I went to the doctor and he prescribed some antibiotics for a sinus infection I had, which did not clear up after I finished the prescription. I was very skeptical about the apple cider vinegar at first, yet desperate to try anything. Spring time of course was always the worst. Since I've been taking ACV my allergies have been under control. Spring time is here with it's high winds and they're still under control. I can go outside and work on the yard or go jogging and my allergies are still under control. I love this stuff. I've been taking two tablespoons three times a day with 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in 8 oz. of water. Sometimes I'll only take it twice a day, but my allergies are still under control. I want to thank earthclinic.com for having this website and posting this remedy.

Thank you for this site. I have a very high insurance deductible and going to the doctor cuts into my food bill! I have been sick for three weeks and the quality of my life has suffered. I went to the doctor who told me take sudafed. I did and it helped very little. Today I woke up from a nap and just started crying. I just couldn't stand the pain and how tired I feel constantly. I tried the ACV and it worked at first then stopped. I then tried it by adding baking soda and it was amazing. I hope it continues to work. For now at least I can get some sleep. I love this site.

I started using apple cider vinegar when I read about all the allergy cures on earthclinic. My pollen allergies are all gone due to a combination of some local honey and 2 Tbsp acv every morning mixed in a glass of water. For my cat and dog (dander) allergies, I take an extra dose of vinegar before I go to someone's house with one of those animals. I still suffer from the dander allergies, but on a much much smaller scale. They are absolutely nothing like they used to be. I'm hoping that they will soon be gone.

I have tried Remedy #1. I would have to say that I really wasn't expecting much, but to my amazement, the ACV helped much more than I would have ever anticipated. ACV hasn't taken my allergies away, but it has helped alleviate a lot of the symptoms. Thank you for having this site.

Hi Jay, we have the same situation - allergy asthma, nasal polyps and feels like it is getting worse day by day. I am on asthma medication and taking supplements to help with my allergies like Vit C and Allermax. I am taking apple cider vinegar with honey 1 tbsp 2x a day for a week now but I feel it's not helping.
I was wondering if you are off with your medications now for your asthma and allergies and if your nasal polyps have reduced in size thru the use of ACV?
Thank you for your reply and I wish you well.

I have observed taking acv, honey with cold water brings in obesity. So I use warm water.
