I've been taking one tbs of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water every day for the past few days. It's been great for my allergies! I'm on levora birth control, and I'm wondering if acv will interfere with my pills?

I read on this website about ACV remedy for allergy. I am allergic to certain food and wanted to find a natural cure rather than the nasal sprays. I read quite a bit about yeas and also about its taste and side effects and was a big freightened to try it out, nevertheless I wanted to try it. As someone has mentioned about adding ACV to salad, I added 1 tbsp of CV to cucumber and onions with some salt and pepper and ate after 15 mins. Wow, the taste was sooo good, especially because I like sour things, rather than sweet things. I drank the left over juice and wanted more. I did it for 2 days and loved the taste. But as most people and this website recommends 2 tbsps dissolved in 16 oz water, today I tried this method, but with just about 1 tbsp, as I am just beginner and wants to test myself against any of the side effects people had mentioned. I must admit I didn't quite like the taste, especially because I don't like apples.
Can anyone tell me if I will get the same results if I add ACV to the salad and eat it, rather than dissolve in water? I prefer the salad method...I love the left over ACV with salt and pepper!!!

I had a bad reaction to ACV. I tried it for allergies, and I got an extremely itchy nose and throat and started wheezing with asthma symptoms. If you are allergic to apples...... I decided I must be, you could try white vinegar for the allergy treatment. I hope it will work for me.
I love using 2 cups of white vinegar in a hot bath. My skin is looking much better and not itchy. I have little white spots on my skin and I'm trying to get rid of that! Hopefully this will work.... I'll write about it in a few months.....yea or nay!

These past few years, I have begun suffering more and more with allergies year-round. I've found that I am allergic to dust, pollen, mold, carpet fibers, some foods - name it, and if it is similar to the things I've listed, I'm probably allergic to it! I have tried many OTC and prescription meds for my allergies, and, here lately none of them seem to work good for me - some don't work at all!!! I am skeptical about taking anymore medications for my allergies, so, I am going to try the ACV remedy, and, hopefully it will give me the relief I've been searching for. Thanks for having this website, and, it may be awhile, but I will keep you all posted as to whether the ACV works for me or not.
Happy sinuses!

I tried ACV, 2 Tbl in juice, plus 1 Tbl honey. I did this 3X a day. I did it for a whole month. It didn't help allergies, overall energy or weight loss. It also did nothing for my kids' health. It may have improved my complexion. I do use it externally on my face as well, and that does seem to help some. It may help keep me somewhat healthier as far as communicable diseases go. I haven't caught the kids' myriad colds, flu, etc. But that may be due to echinacea, oil pulling, cold showers, or healthier eating!

Dear Teresa: Your body's bicarbonates is too low and this is why ACV worked only temporarily. Adding 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda twice a day, once in the morning and once before bedtime, mixed in 1/2 glass of water should solve the problem. Increase your dose if you find this worked better. It takes about one week to relieve your conditions or at least for your body to have adequate levels of bicarbonates to be completely normal. It only takes one day to notice it works, and about 2 weeks to be normal. This is just my estimates based on my experience.

Well, I must say this remedy fell far short of what I was expecting from other users reviews. I had tried using it at 2tbs, 3x a day for a week. When that failed to alleviate my allergies, I increased it to double that, 2tbs 6x a day. I took that dose for yet another week, and it still failed to alleviate my allergies in the least bit in any way whatsoever. Though it may depend on what your allergies are specifically, I can tell you that for mine, this remedy was ineffective.

Hi Jay, I do have the same condition as yours - allergy, asthma and nasal polyps. I suffer from their symtoms everyday. I am using an inhaler for my asthma and some supplements to help with my allergy. I am also taking apple cider vinegar but only 1 tbsp once per day with 1 tap honey. I am afraid to increase the dosage as it might hurt my stomach. I used to have gastritis several years ago.
How is your condition now? Did the apple cider vinegar completely healded you?
Thanks.
