I have a friend who suggested taking about 1/4 cup organic grape juice with 2 capfuls of Organic Apple Cider to help with seasonal allergies. It tastes better than water and we knock it back fast- no sipping, because it's strong!! It really really seems to help stop the runny nose, itchy eyes, etc. that we usually suffer from each spring and fall. I'm a believer!

I have terrible allergies, and knowing this, I started on Allegra at the first sign this spring, but thta did not help my itchy, watery eyes. I heard about Apple Cider Vinegar from my cousin, so decided to give it a try . . within 2 hours, I could actually put make-up on, and keep it on! Now,I drink 1 Tblspn to 1/2 C water twice a day, and no allergies!! Whoohoo, another natural cure the doctors don't/won't tell you about.

FYI, I'm having great results with ACV for my severe allergies - the first relief I've had in days. THANKS! And one easy way to ingest it is on a healthy salad. I mix ACV with grapeseed oil or EVOO (and sometimes a little honey) and pour it over salad greens. Its tasty - doesn't feel like 'medicine' - a healthy meal - AND curing my allergies! I'm also going to try some Molasses remedies and HP remedies...
I'm also surprised no one has mentioned active-culture yogurt as a remedy..

Apple Cider Vinegar. Today May 21, 2007 I decided to try ACV to relieve my allergies and what I thought was a cold or flu. I have had the flu for over 4 weeks but it turns out it is a combination of allergies and a slight cold. I have taken allergy pills one every 24 hours for the last 8 days and it works for awhile but then my nose starts running again and the mucous seems to be getting heavier. I took three glasses of apple juice with 2 tablespoons of ACV in each every 5 hours and now at 8:30 pm I feel like a new person with no runny or blocked up nose and now I am going to continue on this same regimen and try and lose 42 lbs and keep it off!! I will check back with you from time to time and let you know how I am doing. By the way, I am a 63 year old male.

Results of use of ACV: I began to take it after suffering some bouts with acid reflux, I have yet to have another bout since taking it months ago. I was also experiencing problems with allergies such as congestion and runny nose. All of the symptoms are gone. For the pas three years my blood pressure readings had been high like 158/94. My last very recent physical almost floored my physician when it read 128/68. I am convinced.

I've been taking apple cider vinegar for a few months now. It's been the best thing I've tried for allergies. I was getting really sick with allergies and frequent sinus infections. On one occasion I went to the doctor and he prescribed some antibiotics for a sinus infection I had, which did not clear up after I finished the prescription. I was very skeptical about the apple cider vinegar at first, yet desperate to try anything. Spring time of course was always the worst. Since I've been taking ACV my allergies have been under control. Spring time is here with it's high winds and they're still under control. I can go outside and work on the yard or go jogging and my allergies are still under control. I love this stuff. I've been taking two tablespoons three times a day with 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in 8 oz. of water. Sometimes I'll only take it twice a day, but my allergies are still under control. I want to thank earthclinic.com for having this website and posting this remedy.

For at least a week I couldn't sleep for waking up coughing like crazy. Unable to breath thru my nose. On Monday 3/26/07 I went to the Doctor, he said it was allergies. Told me to do clairtin and flonase. I did that for 2 days, very little relief. I'm allergic to decongestants so that wasn't an option. Found your website Tuesday afternoon and started acv 1/2 acv and 1/2 water. That night I only woke up once. What a differance it made. Its now 3/30/07. I'm sleeping thru the night and the stuff that is comming out of my head is really gross. But I can breath. I will continue this 3 or 4 times a day until I'm clear. Thanks a million!

I am 38 yrs. old and had developed the most irritating allergies... Sneezing and coughing so badly, that I would have to take benedryl for relief. I wasn't sure if they were due to the extreme amounts of pollen, my dusty house, or my cat. But, I knew I couldn't live like this. So, I tried the usual otc remedies- and moved on to the "harder stuff", (Zyrtec). But if I missed a day-BOOM! the allergies were in full force again. I knew I had not always been this way and did not plan to stay on meds. the rest of my life. I was determined to find a natural cure for this mess. That is when I found this site. I never realized that Apple Cider Vinegar is so beneficial for this. I knew it helped for colds. But, as I grew older I forgot the staples of life- I guess you'd say. And let the worldly ways persuade me into thinking medication cures all. Well- I was wrong! The A.C.V. worked!! I haven't sneezed anymore. I take a 2 tlb.dose cup in the morning and one at night. But even when I forget one, I don't go back to sneezing and coughing immediately like when I would miss my med. for allergies. It is truly amazing and I feel soooo much better than when I am on meds. God put nature here to benefit us, not to harm us. It is only natural that we should use the resources we are given. Thank you for providing this information to people like me. I am so grateful.

Thank you for this site. I have a very high insurance deductible and going to the doctor cuts into my food bill! I have been sick for three weeks and the quality of my life has suffered. I went to the doctor who told me take sudafed. I did and it helped very little. Today I woke up from a nap and just started crying. I just couldn't stand the pain and how tired I feel constantly. I tried the ACV and it worked at first then stopped. I then tried it by adding baking soda and it was amazing. I hope it continues to work. For now at least I can get some sleep. I love this site.

I tried ACV, 2 Tbl in juice, plus 1 Tbl honey. I did this 3X a day. I did it for a whole month. It didn't help allergies, overall energy or weight loss. It also did nothing for my kids' health. It may have improved my complexion. I do use it externally on my face as well, and that does seem to help some. It may help keep me somewhat healthier as far as communicable diseases go. I haven't caught the kids' myriad colds, flu, etc. But that may be due to echinacea, oil pulling, cold showers, or healthier eating!

I have been on a regimen of 2 tbls of ACV and 1 tbls of blackstrap molasses 2x's a day for about 4 months now. I've just recently in the last month added 1/2 tsp of cayenne (1 tsp/day total) to my ACV and chase it with a glass of water. I read on your site that cayenne helps circulation and that was the primary reason I started adding it to my ACV. Before that I would cook with it and added it to my food everyday as I really like hot food. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with what happen next... The puffiness around my eyes (due to some kind of allergies food or airborne I'm guessing) and face is COMPLETELY gone! No kidding! I have a healthy glow to me now and the puffiness around my eyes that would make me look tired all the time, has vanished. The next thing I noticed is that my sinus' are clear, the dull sinus headache that I lived with for so long is gone and I can breath through my nose at night. As a result I think I'm getting more oxygen to my brain and body now and I definately feel much more clear headed. I had no idea how much congestion was in my sinus' that I had just learned to live with. After ingesting a teaspon a day for about a month, although results came within a couple of days, I look and feel so much better. The only thing I can attribute to the changes to is the cayenne. Thank you so much for posting this remedy. Makes me want to kiss you guys right on the lips! SMACK!

I'd had (been diagnosed with) bad allergies for almost a year, & was on doctor-prescribed pills (Nexium, Allegra, Nasonex) that long. The symptoms were just as bad, I was dried out, my blood pressure was up, & I experienced shortness of breath. I stopped the drugs & started vinegar. It was a total miracle within a few days. Unfortunately, I also have acid reflux, GERD & was hoping it would be cured, as well. I stopped my PPIs (Nexium, Aciphex). The ACV seemed to work for a couple of days, but then I started suffering worse than I ever have. I'm afraid that it's the vinegar, so I don't know what to do. Please, does anyone have any suggestions?

I suffered repeatedly every spring and often in the fall also form sinus infections and severe allergic symptoms. I would have terrible headaches, face pain and runny nose with itchy eyes and sneezing. However after discovering your website and starting an ACV treatment I have yet to need an antibiotic. Yeah ,no more medicine head only a clear head!

I started using apple cider vinegar when I read about all the allergy cures on earthclinic. My pollen allergies are all gone due to a combination of some local honey and 2 Tbsp acv every morning mixed in a glass of water. For my cat and dog (dander) allergies, I take an extra dose of vinegar before I go to someone's house with one of those animals. I still suffer from the dander allergies, but on a much much smaller scale. They are absolutely nothing like they used to be. I'm hoping that they will soon be gone.
