Apple Cider Vinegar in Apple Juice for Gallbladder Pain:
Just want to say THANK YOU for this rememdy. I've had gallstones for years but they've never been a terrible problem until 2 nights ago, when I actually thought I was having a heart attack - never felt pain like it, it was dreadful. Paramedics came and took me to hospital and dosed me with morphine. But my heart was fine and the docs could find nothing wrong. When my heart was all fine, I suspected gallbladder problems. After about 4 hours, the pain went and I was discharged.
But then last night, the pain came back and I googled for a remedy for instant relief. This brought me to your site. Luckily I had both apple juice and cider vinegar in the house and my husband made me up a glass of the mix. I was crying with pain; it was really dreadful. But within about 10 minutes of the applejuice cider vinegar drink, the pain just melted away.
I still can't believe how simple and effective this remedy was. It was like a miracle. So thank you again, from the bottom of my heart for sharing this information.

Please be sure not to drink ACV straight...some people can, but it almost killed me....I could not breath....please dilute with water and sip to be sure it will not choke you...

My wife was having these severe heart burn like symtoms after the birth of our son. We visited many Doctors who diagnosed Acid Reflux and of course recommended a whole lot of pain medication and antacids to no avail. On our last visit to a hospital they did an indepth chack and found the problem to be as a result of gall stones. It was good that they diagnosed the problem but those people were preparing her for surgery without even informing us. We opted out and decided to check online for natural remedies and came accross this thread. To sum up the results I will just say that this thread was a blessing to us. She had one more attack the same night we first saw this thread and that was the last. She is still using the mixture twice daily and we will try the lemon juice and olive oil shortly. Once again thanks very much.

YEA! Our 10yr old son had all the symptoms of a gallbladder attack the other night (clay colored stool, stomach pain, onset after dinner etc). His pain was significant enough to keep him curled up and unable to stretch out. We gave him organic apple juice then 8oz warm water and apple cider vinegar (_____'s) and he was able to stretch out after about 30 minutes. He had a nice brown bowel movement the next AM (phew! ). We'll be doing the final gallstone cleanse in a few days (just in case).

After suffering with gallbladder attacks for six years to no avail. I stumbled upon earth clinic and found a life saver. When I am having an attack, I drink one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar followed by a glass of tap water and within fifteen minutes the pain is completely gone.

i have had frequent "gall bladder attacks" since having my gall bladder removed over 5 yrs ago - the drs say it is due to spasms in the biliary ducts. nothing eliminates the pain or stops the spasms - believe me i've tried EVERYTHING! i read somewhere to fill an 8oz glass with apple juice (which i drink tons of anyway since the malic acid is good for the biliary system) & add a shotglass full of apple cider vinegar. then down the whole thing as fast as possible. within a few minutes (maximum) the pain subsides almost completely about 95% of the time. why don't the drs know about this? and why didn't anyone suggest it to me in lieu of percocet, morphine, etc??

I am afraid of flushing and getting a stone stuck. I'm still dealing with bilary colic off and on. Despite normal blood work and my sonogram showing nothing serious but stones and sludge, they want to take out my gallbladder. I'm not too keen on surgery so I'm trying to hold out.

Apple Cider Vinegar in Apple Juice for Gallbladder Attack
Another believer after unbearable pain. This natural remedy is truly amazing. Last time we took olive oil and lemon which seems counterintuitive now. Is it too soon to drink the beet apple cure smoothy cleanse? Also wondered why Dr Oz suggested a spoonful of ACV every day. Might not be a bad idea after this episode. Thanks to all that posted so I could get relief and sleep!

I had my first gallbladder attack back in January of this year. I went to an urgent care center where the MD diagnosed the problem within seconds. He offered me a shot, which I accepted, and it stopped the attack in less that 15 minutes. This morning, I woke up with excruciating pain on my right side. At first I wasn't sure if it was my gallbladder or perhaps appendicitis. After moving around for about 30 minutes, the pain definitely centered higher in my abdomen. I was sweating a bit so I decided to also take my temp. When I saw that my temp was normal, I became convinced that it was my gallbladder again. I remembered reading about ACV on this site back in January. Faced with deciding to go to the ER, or trying this remedy, I decided to try it. Sure enough, within 15 minutes after drinking the ACV with apple juice, the symptoms (PAIN) went away! Someone asked in their post if ACV pills would work. I've not heard of ACV pills and I didn't notice any reply. Does anyone know? I'm about to leave for an extended trip in 2 weeks and I would love to figure out if I can have an emergency remedy in my back pocket. Thank You!

Although pill form of ACV may be better than nothing, I believe the liquid is superior. It doesn't have to dissolve before reaching your stomach. It has live Mother enzymes and is full of active anti-oxidants. Having a small bottle in your luggage wouldn't be a problem at the airports.

Hi, I'm 57 yrs old and have high blood pressure controlled by medication and 220 Cholesterol. I have been reading this thread for a few days now, and am going to start the process today after waking up yet again with a painful attack. The first attack I had was about 7 years ago, of course, not knowing what it was, but since then they have become more frequent. The attack I had this morning was the same as usual, 6 hours after fat intake. But this time I drank 8oz of apple juice with 1 tbs of ACV and 45 min. later I was able to go back to sleep. Usually, I would be up for the next 6 hours doubled over in pain wondering whether I should go to the ER. I don't have insurance so I just deal with it! Since the AJ and ACV that I got from another website, worked I'm going to assume these attacks are gallbladder related. What God gave me, I'm not giving up without a fight!! My only concern is the affect on my blood pressure. Any thoughts??

Thank you for your reply.. but I have had BP problems for 20 years, so not likely it is related to my gallbladder problems. What do I need to do with Milk Thistle, Turmeric and Artichoke ??

Timh...So If I understand you correctly, my high BP could be from my system not working properly and I should take Milk Thistle as a daily routine? Does Milk Thistle work alone or only with the other herbs you mentioned? Will it reduce the gallstones I may already have or prevent new ones from forming? Thanks

Hello, I tried the apple cider vinegar & apple juice. I couldn't drink it. It made me gag. I am wondering if drinking a glass of apple juice daily would help keep attacks away.

I am now having terrible gallstone attack and its been days. I took several Buscopan Plus capsules but the pain did not go way. I did not bother tell anyone about since I am afraid to end up again in an ER. Last night I tried taking 2tbs of ACV mother but to no avail. After reading some tips here I increased it to around 6 ounces with apple juice. It was very unpleasant to the point that I'm going to vomit. Now after 15 minutes, the sharp stabbing pain that goes through my back subsides to almost gone but the burning sensation is still there which is much more tolerable. I am so afraid to have any kind of operation - just the thought of visiting a hospital makes me so nervous. Good thing I have ACV by Braggs in hand and I swear it is working even in the most excruciating pain that I just experienced for two days in a row.

I am waiting on having my gallbladder removed. Had some discomfort tonight after eating a little excessively. Went out and bought some 100% apple juice and ACV. I used 1 TBS to 8 oz of juice. It is 40 minutes later and the pain and pressure are going away. Glad I found this. Will Be a drink I'll mix in the morning and take to work in case of pain.

Thank you so much for your posting. I made the mixture 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar with 8 oz apple juice. I was on the verge of another ER visit. I drank the cocktail and in about 45 min was able to fall asleep. I actually use the vinegar all the time but it had been so long since I have had a gall bladder attack that I forgot. I like adding it to the apple juice. It made it much more tolerable. Hope your husband feels better too!!

Hi, I am wondering- how long do we drink the apple juice with ACV for a gallbladder attack. After that first glass, what about the next day? Thank you

Ann: Without the presence of gallbladder disease, many people have adopted a one dose ACV/Apple Cider for an array of general health conditions. The list of positive benefits of daily ACV is a long one, so drink up.

So drinking this drink will not irritate your stomach? Where can I read about the healthful benefits of this drink. Thank you again

I forgot to ask this: If a person has acid reflux, I take over the counter Prevacid everyday 2 tablets once in the morning. What I don't understand is that I would think ACV would be irritating to the stomach, (which I haven't felt yet) I have been taking the ACV with apple juice for a couple of days now. Does anyone know if this will irritate the stomach more or is it less? I do know that fermented sauerkraut has been suggested for acid reflux. I thought "OMG" that would be so irritating, but I guess not. Does anyone here have acid reflux?

Ann -
This might sound ridiculous... but, contrary to popular medicine, heartburn (*usually*) is a result of low stomach acid. When you eat food but don't have sufficient stomach acid (HCL) to digest the food, the food will start to putrefy in your stomach, creating it's own acids. *Those* acids can definitely damage your stomach. You can take Tums or Prevacid to ease the pain, but they don't address the real problem (low stomach acid), and in fact can make it worse, by neutralizing what little stomach acid you do have.
A better solution to heartburn is to actually introduce good acid to your stomach. You can do this by taking HCL in pill form, or by taking shots of ACV because it has the same pH as stomach acid does. I don't get heartburn anymore since going this route, and my digestion has improved (until running into gallbladder problems recently, which is what brought me here). I would be very careful with using meds like Prevacid and OTC remedies like Tums or Rolaids. I used to pop these regularly when I had bad heartburn, but I now never, ever need them. Both HCL and ACV will stop my heartburn within 2 or 3 minutes if I need them.

The gallbladder remedy has worked! I bought the unpasteurised ACV this morning & got a bottle of apple juice. I used 3 tbs of ACV in a glass of apple juice & the discomfort I was having has subsided. It hasn't even been half an hour yet. One word of caution though - it is very sour but it is definitely worth it!
