I'm in the middle of a gallstone attack and was reading this trying to find a home remedy for the pain. I'm pretty suspicious when reading cures online but out of desperation I went and bought ACV and apple juice. Now this is after taking two vicodins. About an hour and a half after taking the 2nd vicodin I was still having pain. So I tried the ACV and apple juice - about a 1/2 cup of ACV and the rest apple juice to make it taste better. Within about 20-30 minutes - the pain has subsided signifcantly enough to make me want to share this. For me, it may be a combination of the pain medicine and the ACV but the pain medicine wasn't cutting it after being in my system for at least 2 and a 1/2 hours total - I took the 1st pill, waited about an hour then since pain was getting worse, took another pill. As I mentioned - about an hour and a half later the pain was still bad - but I was able to drive to the store. So glad I did. If you're having a gallstone attack - give this easy remedy a try - it's worth the $7. Apparently ACV has all kinds of other benefits too if you drink it daily.

I was scheduled to have my Gall bladder removed approximetely six months ago, unfortunely I have COPD and hardening of the Arteries and the Surgeon did not get proper clearence from my Pulmonist and cardiac doctors so that day, the Hospital cancelled my appointment until I went through a series of tests, now remember I have been in serious pain for six weeks and the the ultrasound showed my Gallbladder full and I could get no relief but to eat beets and beet juice very little relief but it did help, until I read about Apple cider Vinegar three tablestones with six ounces of water or apple juice three times a day. I have been pain free for four months now and refuse to get the gallbladder removed because the surgeon and my doctor knew that the ACV does work but never told me about it. I found it on the Web, thank goodness I never miss taking my ACV three times a day. I feel like a new man gained a few pounds because now I can eat, I'm still careful with my fat intake but Pain Free

Ann, Daily consumption of kombucha helps dissolves the stones in your gall bladder.
If you buy kombucha from a grocery store, keep on counter for 3-4 days to allow to ferment longer. The longer the ferment the better in terms of dissolving stones.
Or visit http://culturedfoodlife.com/ to learn to make kombucha at home for pennies. Ferment/brew for atleast 9 days to allow the properties of dissolving stones to form in the tea.
Build up daily consumption slowly. Start 4 oz per day and build to 32 oz daily within few weeks. Your stones will dissolve and you will NOT have to remove your gallbladder.
Good luck, T

I was in a great amount of pain yesterday and today that radiated from under my ribs into my mid-back. Horrible!!! I googled "immediate gall bladder pain relief" and this site came up. I drank 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (Organic) with 8 oz 100% apple juice. I experienced relief within about an hour. Whew!! I'm going in the morning to have an ultrasound of my gall bladder. I do not want to have it removed. I'm very happy the pain is gone for now. Very thankful!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I have suffered from gallbladder attacks for a couple of years now. A vegetarian diet does minimize my attacks to about once a year ( I do indulge in goodies on occasion)
I had my first attack in over a year tonight and it was so severe. I came across this site and have raw ACV about an hour or so later I am 90% pain free. First 10 minutes I felt relief. Thank you so much for this information. I am truly grateful.
Grateful from Sacramento, Amber

I can only say this about apple juice and vinegar: It works!!!
When I have a gall bladder attack, I quickly drink 1/4 cup of organic vinegar in 8 oz of apple juice. The average time for pain to stop for me is abput 10 minutes. It leaves completely at that time. I am going to try to take a couple glasses a day, maybe a teaspoon to 8 oz juice. I stopped doing that and think that was a mistake!
If you are skeptical, please by all means try this remedy and keep the juice and vinegar with you when you go out also. I avoided surgery for several years now using this method. I tell you the attacks are horrible as anyone knows who has had them.
Good luck, and God Bless. Pete

Dear Earth Clinic Editor ,
I wish to place on record my gratitude for the information and Guidance I found on your website .
On the Morning of December 22 , 2011 I had my first EXCRUCIATING gallbladder atack .
I am 62 yrs old and took the pian for more than ten hours whilst just lying on the marble floor face doown - the best way to minimize the Pain .
Being concerned about the spread of the infection which started in my front abdomen and spread to the right to my gallbladder I went that evening to a local hospital in terrible pain .
I was examined and underwent a blood and urine test . My blood pressure was 150/100 I was given pain killers and antibiotics for a week and recommended to return for an ultrasound . They could not tell me the exact problem but hinted that it may be kidney stone .
I told them that every time I lie down the attack starts .
Since then I could not sleep - only cat-napping in a SITTING position . I had no bowel movement for a week and lost my appetite. I had several attacks of fever and tried to sweat it out .
I discovered that HOT showers did help relieve the pain temporarily .
I purchased further antibiotics in the assumption that they were having some effect .
Being absolutely lost for a reason / cause as to the continuous excruciating pain in the right side of my lowerback I did research on the internet yesterday and found that the suspect organ was my Gallbladder .
I found your website and purchased the AJC AND AJV . Since 2200 krs PM LT last night I drank drank 3 glasses up to 0700 hrs/am this morning. The third glass produced the positive results shared by other sufferers . I have since been able to sleep and have had only one Minor attack in the last 8 hours.
I am most grateful for the information found on your website
I shall inform you of developments
Many thanks and kind regards
Seasons greetings
Alan Bruce

My attacks started about a year ago occurring randomly every few months becoming progressively more frequent which lead me on a search for a natural remedy. I found this site earlier today and ironically had an attack tonight. So I mixed 3 tbs of ACV with apple juice and even though I read all the accounts of how well this works I have to admit I am utterly amazed. Within 40 minutes the pain is completely gone! I am SO grateful for finding this page. I thought I had to post as more proof for anyone else out there who is looking for help. Thank you!!

YEA! Our 10yr old son had all the symptoms of a gallbladder attack the other night (clay colored stool, stomach pain, onset after dinner etc). His pain was significant enough to keep him curled up and unable to stretch out. We gave him organic apple juice then 8oz warm water and apple cider vinegar (_____'s) and he was able to stretch out after about 30 minutes. He had a nice brown bowel movement the next AM (phew! ). We'll be doing the final gallstone cleanse in a few days (just in case).

This works! I was starting to have pain from my currently sluggish gallbladder. I put a Tablespoon of raw, organic apple cider vinegar in a cup of apple juice (not organic, I have Trader Joe's Macintosh apple juice on hand), and within minutes the pain subsided, I still can't believe it.

I have had an increase in my gall bladder attacks this past month and shot up out of bed at 3 am. This morning. Without having insurance, the removal of my gb is not an option at this time. Deperate to get rid of the agonizing pain, I found this thread about apple cider vinegar, 3 TBSP of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed in a cup of applejuice (I used more to help the bitterness) and within 30 minutes the pain subsided. I'm still working on drinking the rest of the mixture as it is a little tough for me being a water only drinker. Thank you for this website and so many people whom have posted their experiences.

What a relief to find this website and all of your ACV suggestions!
I had severe pain last night at 11pm. Tried drinking GingerAle because at first I thought it was indigestion but the pain didn't go away. Tried water and still nothing. Pain started getting worse. By this time it was 2:30am and I was at my wits end. That's when I found this site.
I didn't have any apple juice but I swallowed 3 tbsp of ACV and drank room temp water. It took about 1/2 hour for the pain to subside so I was able to sleep.
Health and happiness to all of you here.
