I created the following recipe because I was trying to take several superfoods listed on this site every day and I couldn't stand the taste of the Blackstrap Molasses or the Turmeric. So I drink two cups of Molasses Chai a day:
Start with 8 oz of hot water. Then add one chai tea bag (a tea blend including chai spices). While the tea steeps mix in 1 Tbsp of blackstrap molasses, 1 Tbsp of honey (raw is better), 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 2 dashes of turmeric. At this point stop to stir in the turmeric to dissolve the water soluble portion. Then add some milk (about 1/4 cup). U can substitute soy/rice milk etc. Mix in the milk and remove the tea bag. Add 1 Tbsp of coconut oil (virgin is better) and mix to dissolve turmeric in CO.
Other than looking kind of funny because it will have a yellow tinted layer of oil on the top it will taste fine. Don't forget the vanilla it masks the flavor of the molasses. If it still tastes bad to you then put in less BSM, turmeric, and/or VCO until you get used to the flavor.

Thanks for the recipe, Tina. Peanut butter sounds good, but I didn't have any on hand, so I made it with unprepared tehina paste (the thick stuff from which you make tehini salad). It also has a strong taste so it counters the molasses well. I added lots of chopped walnuts as well. Reasonably tasty.

Love Tina's recipe, I adjusted a litte and use almond butter, VCO and unsweetened baking chocolate or cocoa which I mix while heaing in a pan with BSM. I add Grade B maple syrup and/or honey to tast as well as vanilla extract, perhaps a sprinkle of cinnamon, sometime mix in dried blueberries or cranberries - then refrigerate and eat a few tablespoons a day. In addition, I have gotten used to taking it straight by the tablespoonful and find it's like taking happy pills - puts me in a great mood and leaves me with great energy all day. Also have gotten a number of comments from people suggesting I have been coloring my hair darker. Love this stuff!

This fudge recipe was absolutely delicious. I used almond butter because that's all I had on hand & added a heaping spoonful of cacao powder, heated it to mix, then cooled in the refrigerator. It was so good I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. It helps fulfill my goal of eating 3 Tbsp. of coconut oil a day & 1 Tbsp. of bsm. Tasty & nutritious!

I fill a very large (16 ounce, it's one of those Starbuck's ones) mugs 2/3 with coffee (I buy Celestial Seasonings Organic Caramel Mocha, although I'll be switching to plain Organic after this bag)
After filling 2/3 full I add:
1 tbs BSM, but tomorrow I will try with 1.5 tbs since it went unnoticed at 1 tbs
1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder (I use Scharffen Berger.... AWSOME)
And a full rounded teaspoon plus one half a rounded tsp of plain white sugar (yes, white sugar... don't yell... I suppose you could use honey or splenda or raw sugar, as long as it's fairly neutral and sweet)
And then I top it all off with Silk Vanilla Soymilk.
So in a nutshell:
2/3 mug of organic coffee
1 TBS BSM
1 TBS cocoa powder
1.5 ROUNDED tsp sugar of your choice
Fill to top with milk of choice
YUM! I can't wait to reap the benefits!!! I'm going to try upgrading to 1.5 tbs tomorrow!!
Oh, plus cocoa powder in hot water/milk I have recently read is going under scrutiny as possibly being more antioxidant-rich than GREEN TEA. WOO!! Add that cocoa powder and drink your health!!

You may want to research the damage soy can do to your body. Not only is soy a GMO crop, it is heavily sprayed with toxic glyphosate. Soy milk contains estrogens as well as anti-nutrients like phytates which block the absorption of minerals like iodine, magnesium, iron, zinc and copper. By adding soy milk you have basically neutralized any benefits from the BSM.

This recipe made both products more palatable for me:
2tbsp ACV
2tbsp BSM
Mix in a tall glass until the BSM is dissolved. Add a full can of club soda or mineral water - be careful, it really fizzes. Stir lightly, add ice if desired, and enjoy. Sorta sweet, sorta tangy, nicely fizzy, dark brown. It's a taste that grows on you, sort of like Coke does.

It is not the cow milk that is harmful, but rather the pasteurization/homogenization. So any milk (cow/goat) in its raw state is good for you.

Before you quote ANY study, please do your homework as to WHOM has funded this research. I have personally been drinking Texas certified raw milk for several years for my asthma and allergies, which have been reduced significantly. I have noticed a side effect I hadn't anticipated: calcium deposits have disappeared around my knee as long as I consistently drank one eight ounce glass a day.

In a small pot combine and heat to warm (do not boil):
3 ounces hemp milk
3 ounces water
1 tbl molasses
Stir till molasses melts, and once mixture gets thoroughly heated, sprinkle cinnamon to taste. No extra sweetner is needed.

- 2 bags of lipton caramel truffle tea.
- One tbsp evco [extra virgin coconut oil].
- One tbps black strap molasses.
- One half to one tbsp honey.
Pour boiling water over the ingredients in mug and stir gently while steeping to melt the coconut oil..
I could not stand the taste of the molasses, however it is so yummy in this tea. Hope you like it. I have noticed since the evco and acv that like most everyone else, my ENERGY has soared, skin soft, body temp up, hair and nails gowing, dry seriously cracking heels softer and healing (using oil dirrectly) no more claritin, sleeping better, brighter outlook. This is only my seventh day. At first I seemed to gain a little weight, but just today I noticed the scale is down 1 pound. I am keeping at it and will keep you posted. Christine
