Had bad heart arrythmia last 3 years. Afib three times. Last resort I started taking calcium/magnesium supplements 400mg magnesium per day. Within 4 hours my arrythmia stopped. I've had perfect sinus heart rythm for 4 months now. Take it every day. Gold label. Calcium Magnesium with vitamin D3. Feel like a kid again. Best thing I've ever done. No more cardioversions. No ablations.(which was next) Told the cardiologist and he seemed disinterested. Can't believe he would put his profits above someone's health and quality of life. Not a doctor and not an expert, but I'm telling you it's true!

I got some Nascent iodine and started using it last week. Within a few days my heart stopped skipping beats. I tried many other things on this page, but the iodine seemed to do the trick. I put 7 drops in a 26 oz bottle of water and drank it all day. I also painted a drop on the inside of my left wrist once a day for a week.

Hi Ditch the Aspirin, as you say messes up the gut, try Pine Bark Extract, boy are they good, helps WITH digestion too as well as clearing brain fog, blood circulation, my inflammation with Arthritis in my hands is virtually nil now after 2 weeks, and they say it really improves after 3 months on these. I would recommend this to everyone.

Congratulations! Now you have to figure out what has actually worked. I bet it is magnesium. While other 3 are beneficial for general health, I doubt they provided such a fast relief. Cayenne increases circulation and is a vasodilator. Molasses is great source of minerals, but watch your serum ferritin levels, 40-60 is optimal. Apple cider vinegar is almost a panacea, it changes your blood reaction toward a healthy one, but it takes time.

Indeed, my Chinese doctor of acupuncture told me about gastrocardiac pressure, and one of my N.D.s actually taught me a technique to pull the stomach down (a form of abdominal massage), all to support healthy digestion and to relieve that upwards pressure. I learned over the past few years that with arrythmia it can be a total hit and miss as far as remedies and cures go. Different things work for different people as we are all so very unique, and we all may have completely different causes of arrythmia (brought on by the metamorphosis of menopause in my case). I find it immensely interesting to study different healing traditions with their unique view of the same matter. Fascinating our bodies (and minds)... even when they sometimes scare the living hell out of us (arrythmia or anything involving the heart is more than just a bit scary in my opinion), especially when - like in my case - I went from doctor to doctor for years, without lasting results. I finally landed at homeopathy. And I swear by healing and nourishing herbs!!! I always highly recommend the works by Susun Weed. The most charismatic herbalist in the wise woman tradition I have come across.

Arrhythmia: I went on a raw food plant based diet or raw till 4 and it works! Give it time eat the foods rich in magnesium and potassium. Tropical fruits are not expensive and very tasty. There are tons of resources on YouTube about this. It's essentially the best way to correct the sinus rhythm and stabilize the body.

First off, I have to say that I just found your site, and read through many of the posts, and noticed that the dates were a few years ago.
I had A-Fib, took all the meds, to no avail, and then had an ablation, having it all return in a month. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I'm quite an internet researcher on natural and alternative methods of health care, so now I'm doing all the natural things to help my arrhythmia. I take Chinese meds with Dan Shen in them, which really help, the L-arginine, and taurine, in large amounts, which also help my Fibro problems. I take a ton of supplements, which includes hawthorn, cayenne, salvia, which is the Dan Shen. I'd rather take more than not enough, and the Chinese doctor and herbalist said you can't take too much. the fish oils, etc. and the regular regimen of multi's, etc.
When I have an episode, I take two droppersful of the cayenne extract in a little water, and sometimes, add Ylang Ylang essential oil, rubbing it over my heart, and on the heart vitaplex, which is listed on any site as for arrhythmia and I've also taken a homeopathic called Aconitum Napelus only as directed. I've read other places that this can be helpful.
And the sorghum is good, as well. I also have magnesium oil that I rub over my heart.
In saying all of this, I guess I'll try almost anything, as it is a fearful thing to have your heart racing and out of rhythm. Maybe one of these remedies will help some of you.
Well, here we are at the beginning of another new year. May all of you have a happy and healthy one.

Sharon in Tennessee... I strongly urge you to look into the side effects from benzodiazepine drugs. The Clonazepam that you're taking for anxiety is a benzo. I have had my own experience with heart arrhythmia and finally figured out that my symptoms were caused by the Ativan (another benzo drug) I was taking for anxiety and insomnia. Your body develops a tolerance to the dose you're on, needing more and more of the drug. It's terribly addictive and can be VERY difficult to get off of. They cause your GABA receptors in your brain (and elsewhere in the body) to become down-regulated. You have to taper off of benzos very slowly and carefully, and even then there can be difficult withdrawals. But anyone on one of these drugs will eventually end up in the "tolerance" state. Long term use is associated with all kinds of awful health effects and a marked increase in Alzheimers. PLEASE look up "benzodiazepine withdrawal" and try to find the Ashton Manual online which is extremely helpful.
I am still suffering withdrawals more than two months after taking my last dose but am hopeful that my arrhythmia and other symptoms will eventually go away. I just couldn't not say something! I hope you don't mind.:) It's just that I know from experience these drugs end up causing more anxiety than you had to begin with, along with other things. There are all kinds of natural ways to approach anxiety. Best wishes...

I have been suffering from Cardio Arrythmia for about thirteen years about once or twice a month, sometimes more I have been to a few doctors and they have said that no one has died fom it yet BUT it is very scary, the longest time period it has lasted is five hours so I went straight to the Doctor while it was still happening so he could properly diagnose the condition I HAVE BEEN ON PRESCRIPTION ASPIRIN SINCE TO REDUCE THE RISK OF STROKE also a prescription drug for the control of the rhythym but it still happened.
Five weeks ago I went to a Naturopath and he put me on Magnesium and Co-enzyme Q10. Since starting on these natural medications I have had one short burst of Cardio Arythmia for about fifteen seconds and that's all in five weeks, I will keep posting of this improvement if there is anymore improvement.

Gotta LOVE it. Next time it happens, I hope I remember this cayenne remedy. Another remedy to keep the golf balls out of the washing machine is CoQ10 on a regular basis. I started with a heavy dose and it worked right away. I was astounded. Then I worked my way down to a lighter dose. Less expensive.

Please be aware that over 90% of the extra virgin olive oil sold in the US is adulterated with cheap vegetable oils like soy, canola, corn, etc. That is probably why you are having reactions when consuming the olive oil. There is an excellent book called, Extra Virginity: The Sublime and Scandalous World of Olive Oil by Tom Mueller. Your best bet is to go with virgin palm oil or virgin coconut oil.

For anyone dealing with arrhythmias that have tried everything and more with no relief…….. try ground flaxseeds. I have been dealing with the worst pvcs, pacs, svt all of it and afraid of losing my life due to them and my physicians and specialists not caring. Seeing all of it and telling me all I can do is take pills! Won't do an ablation because my pvc burden is only %6. So I prayed and cried out to Yahweh and asked His Holy Spirit for guidance. I went to Dr. axe.com where I remember reading the flaxseed was could for cardiovascular. I read through it again, and stated right there that flaxseeds have been shown to inhibit heart arrhythmias!!!! So that very night I took 3 tablespoons of flaxseeds, threw them in my grinder And added it to 4 oz of organic milk and my arrhythmias came to a halt. A few pvcs every now and again but nothing close to what I had been experiencing! 🙌🏽 praise God for communities like this and Dr.axe!!!!!! We can help each other here! Praise Yeshua for his goodness!

Hi y'all. I'm a retired Registered Nurse and have noticed irregular heart beats from time to time - like at present. About to turn 87 in a few weeks I am disgustingly fit and active with a fault that I tend to push myself to the limit. I have an excellent relationship with my Dr for the past 23 years as we talk the same lingo and she respects my dislike of medications (I tell her as a nurse I gave out pills - I did not take them).
Also had life-threatening anaphylaxis from a new pill. About 20 years ago I was diagnosed with severe, and potentially crippling osteoporosis. I decided I am going to beat this and over several years my scans showed a back to normal bone density. I ate oily fish every day like sardines, mackerell and herrings and still do. I take a bone and muscle supplement daily which contains 50mg magnesium.
I am not sure what cayenne is (maybe what we call capsicum and what you call bell peppers) but I eat a curry almost every day which of course has chili and many spices. I find a beef dish once a week is beneficial or even lambs fry very occasionally (I had to have it as a child as I had a B12 deficiency). I enjoy a low alcohol red wine just a few times a week, but can live without it.
My evening meal consists of a fresh salad with local olives and a gherkin. I sprinkle with ACV the sort with the sediment and local olive oil. I prefer to buy what is produced locally and in season. Sounds all good, hey. I have trouble getting to sleep and must get back into meditation. Love to freestyle solo dance, archery, and late afternoon walks in the local bush. Never sit for long but yesterday spent 12 hours straight at my computer without food or drink. Crazy, but as I said I push myself to and beyond my limit. Probably that brought on the missed beats I noticed this morning. Blood pressure is OK. So, maybe I should increase the magnesium from 50mg, get back into meditation (I taught it long ago) and SLOW DOWN! Great site this.

Jm: It was discovered some yrs back that a metabolite called Homocysteine was causing many cases of Heart disease. Homocysteine is kinda like a toxin or free-radical that causes damage to Arterial walls.
Researchers found that a malfunctioning Methylation system was to blame. The amino acid Methionine doesn't get methylated and turns into Homocysteine.
Nutrients like B-12, Folic Acid, TMG, DMG usually correct this. Personally I supplement almost daily a B-12/Folic Acid plus DMG and get excellent fat-burning results with 500mg Methionine. The B-12/Folic Acid/DMG combo decreases Homocysteine and increases SAM-e, and the health benefits of SAM-e are numerous. DMG alone health benefits are numerous. Avoid Heated Fats

Hey, I wanted to mention this because nobody mentioned it. I've found a correlation between heated fat intake and heart arrhythmias. Once I realised that I stopped eating anything fried basically. Right now I can virtually cause and avoid arrhythmias by consuming heated fat. What is interesting though is that when I prepare the sauce with oil, but I mix it with other stuff like tomato sauce from the beginning, I don't get arrhythmias. My theory is that the oil doesn't get heated much (above 100 degrees C) as it is mixed with water from the tomato sauce and therefore does not produce some harmful chemicals. I also read that heated fat is bad in the book "the big fat surprise." If you've never paid attention to this I would recommend doing so, let me know if you find a correlation.

My main suspects:
1. aldehyde-candida produce this in the gut, mold mycotoxins carry and spread this, found in most synthetic fragrances, plastics, etc.
2. cocoa-theobromine can cause arrythmias
3. magnesium or potassium deficiency-magnesium is the "master mineral", candida use this to digest sugar and your body needs it to function properly (heart rhythm. Potassium needs magnesium to be transported properly in (or out of) every cell in the body_think Afib.
4. acacia and other trees, cut grasses-release aldehydes into the air
5. molds/algae-I think most of them outgas aldehydes into the air or through your skin
Candida-use magnesium for their own metabolic work (depleting your reserves), while your body needs magnesium to reduce aldehyde to a less toxic chemical (aldehyde can be deadly_Afib and heart failure, I think) and candida metabolism produces alcohol which is converted to aldehye, then to acetic acid. Some people cannot metabolize aldehyde properly. It is not eliminated from the body and can build up to toxic levels ("Holiday Heart"! )_very interesting. Aldehyde is very dangerous (worse than alcohol).
Electrolyte imbalances, aldehyde from candida in the body, aldehydes from the environment (plants, molds, plastics, perfume, cologne, candles with synthetic fragrances, etc.) add to our toxic load and eventually we can have some very serious symptoms, including mental problems, burning face, sinus problems, female problems, disequilibrium/off balance, vertigo, shortness of breath, fast heart rate, irregular heart rate, Afib, etc.
"Dead in bed syndrome" is possible in people who are diabetic. Blood sugar drops during the night and chemical changes cause Afib and possibly death. People notice symptoms while they are awake, but not while they are asleep. Try to prevent drastic changes in blood sugar, especially during the night.
Heal Your Gut
Posted by Waleed (New York ) on 05/17/2016
Dear all,
There is an undeniable relation between the gut/digestion issues and Arrhythmia (irregular heart beats, PVCs)
It has taken me two years to identify, research and educate myself on this connection. Look into "Roemheld Syndrome" first discovered by a German scientist while studying caloric intake on the digestive system. RS explains the Gastric Cardiac effect of stomach gas, acid reflux, and dysbiosis in irritating the Vagus nerve and how that triggers our irregular heart beats among causing other life bothersome side effects, like chest pain, dizziness and vertigo. It usually begins with a case of post infection IBS, which I believe is related closely to SIBO/leaky gut syndrome. By the time you are experiencing RS, you must understand that your gut has been compromised and mostly your vagus nerve as well, which in turn leaves your Autonomic nervous system in jeopardy as well.
This is one of the most under diagnosed and controversial syndromes in the world today, doctors do not want to admit the relation of the gut on the heart even though all the science is there to prove it.
This is a serious condition to say the least. I have struggled with this for two years and eventually it lead to severe Dysautonomia (POTS) recently as well as diminished adrenal function, where I have been extremely dizzy when standing up, fast irregular heart beat and overall fatigue.
Every case is different of course, I am still trying to heal myself so I am not able to mention any remedies so far except
HEAL YOUR GUT, find out your food sensitivities and eliminate them, eat small meals, trying a low fodmap diet (creates no gas) starve SIBO, burp when you can, Zinc Carnosine and D-Limonene might help but I am still not fully recovered, will stay in touch with more news.
Note to EC: please do more research on this topic, it may help many people.

I was diagnosed with; irregular heartbeat, SVT, (250 beats per min.and I would black out), and mitro valve prolapse. I refused the meds prescribed and read Dr. Mark Sircus' book; "Magnesium; the ultimate Heart Medicine", I then started using the magnesium oil transdermally and got immediate relief with the irregular/palpatations etc. I have not had an attack of the SVT since 2006. Because there was still the occasional times when my heart was out of sync; I continued to read for something more. I read "Crude Blackstrap Molasses" by Cyril Scott, starting taking two Tbs. daily and for me that was the magic. The minerals in molasses did the job. I take it daily and would not be without it. Both books are filled with much needed knowledge. I highly recommend both. You will see and feel the difference.

Magnesium is definitely important, but I have been on 1000 mg magnesium for years, and the arrhythmia is still there. I think general guidelines are probably in place in terms of what and how much of a supplement one should take; however, our bodies are different and our environments are different as well. I am still struggling with getting AFIB under control. The Cayenne helped some, but not by itself. It seems to help better with lemon juice and Maple syrup. (Master cleanse). Still waiting for the CALM to arrive. Still hoping for natural cure...don't want the toxic meds.

Apple cider vinegar or any raw vinegar, through a complex chemical process shifts your blood reaction toward what it considers healthy. That is why it is almost a panacea. Many through supplements and diet try to alkalize their blood, and this is what apple cider vinegar does for you.

Don't take my advice alone, but I do not trust the rhythm and blood pressure meds. I had success like this: Go completely organic raw foods vegetarian. If you have to cook it, don't eat it. Fresh fruits and vegetables only. Organic only. You can eat a ton and you only get healthier. It is much easier to convert than you might ever dream. I never felt deprived or as if I were missing anything. After some time, non raw foods taste really nasty. If you insist on having animal proteins, use organic fermented milk products like Kefir or yogurt. For supplements I use all the ones that people say help and all the ones that studies show work. I take omega 3 oil, vitamin C, magnesium taurate (people on afib forums said non-chelated magnesium doesn't do anything for them and that they found magnesium taurate they found most effective), coenzyme Q10, hawthorne, rhodiola, aspirin, curcumin plus black pepper kernels (to make it absorbable by the body), heavy doses of probiotics (but you must start modest and work up slowly), Apple Cider Vinegar. Prevent, prevent, prevent. Study every supplement very well, and make your chosen supplements absolutely religiously. Once in awhile if I feel some odd symptoms, I'll prevent by having the beta blocker medicine before it goes wild. I have had no afib recurrences for more than a year. You may have to go for magnesium injections to get your cellular magnesium high enough for symptoms to go away. Blood tests do not accurately show how much magnesium you really have or really need. Sometimes the body can't absorb enough magnesium by supplements if the levels dip too low in your body. It's a chicken or the egg problem. If your magnesium drops low enough to have symptoms, then you are already too low to be able to absorb enough by food or supplement. You can also take Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) baths for several weeks in order to get the right amount of magnesium back into your cells. Proper amounts of Magnesium in your cells is almost 20 times higher than outside your cells. If you happen to have sleep apnea, you absolutely must eliminate it. It can trigger episodes. I use a dental appliance to eliminate sleep apnea. If you have the money to do all this, spend it in order to get better. If you don't have the money, focus on magnesium. It's cheap. Raw foods will cost you about the same or less than eating fast food. The question is: Are you willing to do what it takes to get better? You have to be very clear on your answer to that.

I was having angina, I already have a double bypass, Atherosclerosis, a pace maker, and VA could only offer nitro as a cure. I thought, I am going to die. So I started researching homeopathic cures, and found basketfuls on the www & YouTube, and tried a bunch of them with a 95% turnaround in two months, no angina, no high blood pressure, clear arteries, no diabetes, no COPD, no body cramps.
I would now recommend two great products, Serrapetase removes anything nonliving from your system and arties, scarring from heart attacks, etc. And Nattokinase will remove blood clots. I am waiting on my first order of Nattokinase to arrive, and I just quit Serrapetase as I feel my system is super cleaned now. I want to see what affect the Nattokinase will have on arteries in the brain and possible headache cure and varicose veins. Doctors in Europe & Japan are using these instead of doing by-passes, angina, etc. I used the Serrapetase for about six months, and will use it occasionally in a lower 1/2 dose and maybe every 3 months, I will use it for a month.
I want to calm some fears for pacemakers & wires and stints, Serrapetase had no affect on these items in my veins or heart. I didn't short out or anything. BUT it did a job on plaque and I can tell the difference. I went from a 1/2 block a day to 2 miles, and can run up and down my stairs like a 16 year old. I am 68.
I thank Arginine for giving me strength. weight lifters use it too! ACV & Highlands pills for stopping leg cramps. Good tip. Take along some highland leg cramp pills when you walk. Your legs won't feel tired. And dilate before you go.
Just a WARNING!! Don't use these if you recently had any surgery or getting ready to have surgery. They can stop healing.
A good morning drink to clean arterys & end hardening, is to use 1 8oz warmed glass of water, add 4 tbsp lemon juice & 2 tbsp. honey.
A good night drink, 2 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar in 4-6 oz of water. Ends those night or early morning leg cramps forever!! If you feel any body cramp durning the day, use this method. The cramp is saying give me calcium, magnesium & potassium, one of those is deficit.
Wish you well!!

Be careful about the dose of cayenne. As a vasodilator, a large dose can seriously drop your blood pressure. This happened to me, after I took 2 - 500 mg capsules on an empty stomach. I started seeing black and almost passed out but was able to lower my head over the side of the sofa to allow blood flow to my head and my heart rate to settle down. Follow the recommendations on the bottle.
