I had bad asthma that could last up to 17 days using prescribed meds. And one day I was given a remedy, & within a year, my asthma went away. The remedy is ...

Take:

  • 2 vitamin E 400 IU,
  • 2 cod liver oil capsules, and
  • 2 vitamin C (500 MG) tablets.

I took them with food, 3 times a day, when I was very sick with asthma, for a year. I stopped taking them when my asthma went away, & started taking them, again, whenever I have problems with it.

My brother, had very bad sinus problems, & this same remedy, above, helped him get better.

Blessings!

Vitamin K2 MK7 + Vitamin D3 + Zinc cures Asthma!

Researches have found the cure to asthma and it is an ostheoporosis medicine!

https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/news/view/96649-researchers-hugely-exciting-asthma-discovery

Basically what they discovered is that asthma is linked to the Calcium metabolism. 99% of the calcium is present in bones and teeths. Anywhere else Calcium is present it causes problems: vascular deterioration that causes heart and brain problems, artritis when it goes to articulations, wrinkles when it goes to the skin, etc.

But nature have its natural Calcium GPS called Vitamin K2 MK7! Vitamin D3 absorbs calcium in the intestin to the blood, but it is K2 that takes it from the blood to the right place: bones and teeths. The first asthma symptom is a result of the accumulation of calcium in the periphery of the body: the skin.

Years before the first asthma crisis almost always there is a strong dermatitis resulting from calcium accumulation. Then years later that calcium will end in vital organs like lungs causing bronchospasm and alkalosis in the blood (buteyko method helps a bit as it balances the alkalized blood with excess calcium). Calcium in lungs could also help build homes for bacterias like Chlamydia pneumoniae. K2 MK7 is a very rare nutrient nowadays, even harder to find in a vegetarian diet (although this diet can also be lower on calcium). K2 MK7 metabolism is related to many other nutrients but mostly D3 and Zinc. If those are also defficient, K2 MK7 won't be able to do its job.

My son had 3 severe asthma crisis that led us to emergency, and many others that were administered at home through glucocorticoids, butheyko method and other things. As K2 MK7 suplementation started my son was in the middle of an crisis.

The crisis was quickly reverted. Now after 3 months of taking at least 400mcg K2 + 5000ui D3 + 50mg zinc 4 to 7 days a week, his is far away from an asthma crisis and his skin is slowly recovering to a completely healthy state.

It takes time until the calcium spread through the body to be catch by Vitamin K2. High doses of K2 have no toxicity recorded on rats, but it *must* come with higher doses of D3 and other related nutrients.

Vitamin C

I read a review on Amazon for liposomal (fat soluble) vitamin C and saw a few people who stated that it cured their asthma. Normal vitamin C taken in large doses gets flushed out of the body quickly since it is water soluble. It can also cause diarrhea. This is not the case with liposomal vitamin C.

Liposomal vitamin C is the next best thing to IV vitamin C. Vitamin C has been shown to cure or ameliorate many disease conditions. I take it daily for its immune boosting function and also in conjunction with niacinamide to keep my arthritis at bay.

I think we should never allow ourselves to think that something isn't curable. As the great physician Paracelsus said, "There are no incurable diseases, only incurable patients".

I have asthma and have tried every natural remedy over the years. I cut out dairy and processed foods and then went to a plant based diet. This did help some but then I found a product called Mimosa Pudica Seed. This is a gut scrubber and Eliminates parasites. This was a game changer for me and I was able to get off my inhaler. Your health is in your gut. 80-90 of your immune system is in your gut. So gut health is the key! So if you work on you on your gut health you can reverse chronic disease. Most people eat the standard American diet (processed foods, wheat sprayed with glyphosate, fast food, fried foods etc.)and heart disease, cancer, and autoimmunity are epidemic.

Another excellent product is Well of life, they have a bundle which includes Digestive enzymes, Probiotic and Fulvic Acid. When taken for 3-6 months can heal your leaky gut and improve or eliminate autoimmunity and get your health back.

MSM helps asthma

I've never posted a review on this site, but this is worth writing about! Had to start slowly, because 1000 mg caused drowsiness...but my peak flow went from 400 to 575 after 1 week!! That is life changing! So for asthma and allergies this is a keeper. Now I'm still only taking a 250 mg dose, 1/4 of a tablet, with those results.

Oregano Oil

I was born with asthma even died a couple of times as a child, my mother had to give adrenaline shots till I was 19 years old. We moved out of the San Francisco house into a brand new house in Pacifica. My asthma improved immensely. I believe the San Francisco house was filled with mold and the new house wasn't. Then when I was about 19 years old I got it and supplements and herbs and improve my diet.

Over the years it would get better with diet and then get worse with diet. This past spring was one of the most intense experiences. I was on too many medications and I was not on the right foods in my diet, my asthma really bad.

In the early morning hours searching on Earthclinic.com I found a comment that asthma was fungus based. The recommendation was to take oil of oregano 2 to 4 dropper full‘s per day! I had some in the cabinet so I started taking it and sure enough, I started getting better and getting relief with my asthma.

I went down the rabbit hole Searching for anti-fungal diet and supplements. I found Doug Kaufman wrote a bunch of books on it has a TV show podcast Facebook podcast community for support.

Then I took a prescription drug called NyStaten to kill the fungus even stronger along with herbal remedies and diet But the detox was too strong and I ended up with extremely itchy scalp so I stopped taking the NyStaten and I am back onto the antifungal diet with oil of oregano and olive leaf.

I am posting that asthma and allergies can be illuminated, reduced and healed. All from oil of oregano and olive leaf with an antifungal diet which means no carbs no sugar's no alcohol. Asthma and allergies are fungal yeast or mold based.

Many diseases are fungus yeast mold parasites causing diabetes cancer and a whole other list of conditions. It is upsetting that our medical system has us on all these drugs that were making me angry depressed crazy and not healing my condition or educating me that my foods were feeding the fungus.

I could barely walk up a flight of stairs over this past winter and spring. Once getting on the antifungal diet and taking the oil of oregano I was able to almost run up a flight of steps for the first time in years easily. Now I'm starting all over again to regain that and improve it more and more.

I hope this post of information will help you as well.

Aloe Vera

I realize that I am very late in responding to Diane's aloe post below from 2009, but I only just read it and I wanted to share my experience with treating asthma with Aloe Vera. I have been using Aloe Vera off and on when needed for a couple of years now and have been totally symptom-free. Prior to that, I was on 2 prescription medications, taking them faithfully every day. The aloe I take twice a day is your regular run-of-the-mill household plant, although it loves the bright indirect light conditions and has grown to be huge. I choose a leaf that is big and fleshy and cut off the pointed ribs on both sides. Then I separate the two pieces of skin, exposing the juice and gel inside, which I scrape either with a spoon into a small bowl or with my teeth straight into my mouth. I find the taste to be clean and refreshing, not bitter at all.

Also, my dogs and cat regularly bite chunks of the leaves off. I hope this is helpful, in that you do not need to have a special plant to achieve positive results. Blessings, Flower's Mom

Iodine

Hello Earth Clinic,

I have been reading this website for years and have discovered many wonderful cures over the years. This is really the best resource for natural cures for everything!

I had childhood asthma that went away around the age of 10-12. I always had rescue inhalers and had about one asthma attack per year usually from exposure to animal dander but I didn't consider it a problem. When I was pregnant with my daughter at the age of 29 the asthma came back. I figured it was just a symptom of pregnancy and would go away. When she was born the asthma actually got worse and my doctor put me on the daily prevention inhaler as well as my rescue inhaler. I've never been one to take medications not even aspirin for headaches because I go on this website first and follow the advice I find here.

I'm posting this because I tried many of the cures for asthma here and nothing worked, but I've finally been asthma free for 2 weeks by starting Dr. Brownstein's Iodine Protocol. When I asked my doctor why my asthma would get worse during pregnancy and after the birth and then a LONG time after birth as well he just said "pregnancy does weird things to your body". It makes me so angry that he wouldn't test my hormone and thyroid levels at that point knowing that I had a pregnancy (or hormonal) related issue. I have symptoms of hyper and hypothyroidism but I don't fit into either category. From research online I've found that this points to hashimoto's so I started to look for cures for hashimoto's instead of curing my asthma, because as I discovered asthma is a symptom of hashimoto's.

From the first or second day that I started the iodine protocol I didn't need either of my inhalers anymore. I still get a bit of tightness in my chest but not enough to take my rescue inhaler. I'm shocked sometimes when I take a deep breath expecting lots of wheezing but all I get is a huge amount of air!

If you want to try this I would suggest that you read Dr. Brownstein's iodine book because it is a very specific amount of certain supplements being Iodine, Selenium, Vit C and Magnesium and you slowly increase your dosage of Iodine because it can cause detox reactions. It makes me wonder if asthma isn't just a Iodine or Selenium deficiency? I was taking Vitamin C and magnesium before the iodine and still having asthma so I don't think it's a vit c or magnesium deficiency.

You'll want to read the book because there's also a huge iodine controversy with some doctors prescribing it without the selenium which makes thyroid issues worse, then other doctors tell their patients to stay away from it including natural sources such as seaweed even though it's the one thing that the patient really needs.

I know this is a long post but I hope this info helps even just one person who is suffering from asthma.

Lung Herbal Tonics, Salt Therapy

Have had breathing problems since a little girl due to swimming in chlorinated pool. I finally found a way to cure my lung issues. I take a lung tonic which is a liquid I purchased from a health food store with herbs for the lungs. I take this while I use an herbal inhaler that I got from the health food store. I purchased it at Whole foods. then I did Salt therapy. There are salt therapy clinics all over the country where you sit in a salt room and inhale the salts. Go slow as it can make things very constricted at first. Like 10 minutes to start. I also have purchased a cheap nebulizer on ebay and nebulized salt water into the air where I can breath it in. I have done some essential oils also. You have to go really slow though. As it cleanses your lungs of all the toxins, it can make things feel worse at first. I have also found that a little red wine can loosen things up. I mean a tiny bit. I started to drink it a long time ago after one episode of breathing issues that lasted a year, and finally gave up and started to drink some red wine. And low and behold my breathing came back. I don't know if it was this or all the lung herbs I drank in a tea, like lungwart, lobelia etc.

The most recent situation was very life threatening as I moved into a new home with new construction dust. I almost died. And had to stay at a hotel where someone setoff a smoke bomb outside my hotel room. And I was in massive distress. The taking the tonics I got at Whole foods, and their inhalation stick, together with nebulizing some salt water and essential oils eventually cleared my lungs. I also took some stabilized oxygen pills (non chlorinated - very important) but that doesn't help by itself.

I would also treat for candida and mold knowing that my environmenal scientist friend says that our air is filled with it.

Find the Triggers

Asthma is one of the most common ailments that is misdiagnosed and recently a study came indicating that 88% first diagnosis made is incorrectly. So, please read this: Silent acid reflux mimics asthma.

A couple things to look for 1) You have trouble breathing, 2) you have more difficulty getting air in than getting air out out?

Acid reflux causes you to have trouble getting air in during inspiration. People with asthma have difficulty getting air out of the lungs. Make sure you have the correct diagnosis!

When I was sick I was misdiagnosed at least seven times. That is seven time too many in my book. Getting on an treatment can permanently cure this asthma-like breathing problem. If you do not have enough acid in your stomach and this can happen as you get older or even to someone younger. not correct digestion leads to acid build up which causes acid reflux.

My ND put me on HCL, hydrochlric I simply took a few bites of food then take a HCL pill I was told to take one tablet if not burning in the stomach, then next time you eat take two, then next time you eat take three. As soon as it begins burning in the stomach cut back to two.

There are other ways as well one is licorice or good old baking soda, since we all know it is alkalizing and it neutralizes stomach acid fast, and alkalizes the entire system. Mix 1/2 teaspoon to full teaspoon in an 8 ounce glass of pure waterand drink immediately. You will find out fast if you have asthma or acid reflux Be caution because baking soda can raise your blood pressure.

I inhaled toxic dust at my workplace and got RADS. I coughed continuously for seven weeks until I was referred to pulmonologist who put me on very high dose prednisone for five days. Although it stopped the coughing, I did get a steroid psychosis which I would not wish on any one...mainly delusions and mania, plus a feeling of unreality. It can happen, luckily mine was short lived, although it took me a year to truly recover from the RADS.

Thank you so much for sharing this! The copay for my asthma drug recently went up to $358, and I didn't like being steroid drugs, anyway. I had to go to the ER, and after that, was having to use my inhaler several times a day -- because the alternative medications weren't working that great, for me. Still searching for how to heal asthma I found your post. Went to YouTube and learned the Buteyko method. That was three days ago and I have had zero asthma, and needed to take zero medications, neither Rx, nor alternative, since I first used the Buteyko method. It's a miracle. Thank you.

I agree with Joyce, Magnesium IS important for asthma. Capsules are almost worthless. Try powdered or one of the other powdered combos. You need a lot more than 250mg. For me, during a flare (airborne allergen, dust, smoke or infection induced) Extra mag, especially the spray oil on my chest plus internal, helps relax airways. I also make apple cider vinegar, sea salt and honey in hot water and sip that.

Good luck...it is horrible to suck air when flaring...especially here at almost 8000 feet!

Same deal here! My son was diagnosed at 3 with asthma...almost never wheezed, just nagging cough. He had reflux as a newborn that eventually went "silent" until he started having trouble with esophageal strictures at age 11. Fundoplication at 15, persistent esophageal problem, but no reflux. At 16 he began a 6 food elimination diet and 18 months later an allergy to milk was uncovered. No asthma ATTACKS since the fundo-, no asthma at all since elimination of the dairy!

Reflux is no joke!

This is what has reduced my asthma symptoms by 90%... TURMERIC powder.. the cheap stuff not even organic.. it's like $1 for a huge bag. Mix 1 tbsp in water and chug it down 3x a day, or mix it with your food if you prefer.

Next, get lots of SUN, vitamin D deficiency has a major role in asthma attacks.

Next (optional) eat lots of vegetables with every meal (fruits not so much).

I went from needing my inhaler or I would die.. to not using it for weeks at a time.. the #1 thing I mentioned is the turmeric, sunlight is very important too though.

Try it and let me know your results.

H2O2 Inhalation Therapy

Hi MyWay,

I am so happy I saw your post in my seemingly endless search for dealing with my 6-year old's asthma. We are seeing a moderate (not so steroid-happy) allergy specialist, he eats a very healthy diet, I constantly run air filter, we have all the bedding covers, his bedding is washed at least weekly and still.. It's been frustrating and I do not want to see my little guy on so many medications for the rest of his life, it's plain disturbing - our bodies do not need so much life support to function! Your research resonated with my personal experience as I recently had a horrible neck/shoulder pain and nothing was having a lasting effect on it, until my chiropractor suggested that I tried magnesium supplement - it was amazing! Within days, all my pain has gone. The magnesium deficiency, was making my muscles spasm and I can completely see that for asthmatics for the lung muscles thus causing difficulty breathing. I'm definitely going to look into this, especially since it also robs my little one of the nutrients. Thank you so much for your suggestion!

Two students I had contact with each had asthma most of their lives. I informed them that bovine colostrum could get rid of the asthma quickly. Both of them followed the protocol that I suggested which was one half scoop of the colostrum powder for the first two days, one scoop for days three and four, one and one half scoops for days five and six, and two scoops for day seven and after until the asthma is gone. You will find the measuring scoop inside the container of colostrum powder.

When they no longer have asthma I suggested that they go back to a half scoop for prevention.

Also, I instructed them to mix the colostrum with eight ounces of "healthy" water in a blender and drink the mixture thirty minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach which is critical in getting the greatest benefit from the colostrum. They followed the protocol that I suggested and both of them got rid of the asthma in four weeks.

It has been over two years for the one student and over one year for the other student since they have gotten rid of the asthma. Praise The Lord! The colostrum powder that I suggested they purchase can be found on the internet for approximately $65.00. Simply enter 21 ounces colostrum powder on any search engine and you will find a powder that is effective and moderately priced.

Coconut Oil
Posted by Mama To Many (Tennessee) on 02/25/2016

Dear Colleen,

I would probably start with 1/4 teaspoon of cold-pressed coconut oil three times a day. You could then increase by 1/4 teaspoon at a time. For a four year old I would probably not give more than 1 Tablespoon a day total, but there may be exceptions.

To get a coconut oil in a four year old, I spread it on toast, mix it in oatmeal, add some to steamed vegetables, add it to smoothies, etc.

You might also want to try milk kefir for your daughter. Regular consumption of milk kefir really turned my daugther's health around, including asthma problems.
