Rosemary Tea
Posted by Clj5775 (Canton, Ohio) on 06/21/2011
Recently Dr. Oz suggested we incorporate Rosemary Tea into our diets. He said it helped with bloating and gas, especially in older women. I have noticed as I have gotten older that everything seams to give me gas and bloating is also an issue. I am having a difficult time finding Rosemary as a tea and/or supplements locally.
Anyone have any knowledge on this?
Oregano Oil

Hi, I'd like to add Oil of Oregano as an amazing remedy for smelly gas. I had tried everything - digestive enzymes, probiotics, betaine (HCL acid), garlic and nothing really worked that well. Or they worked for a while but then stopped working. Now I take a capsule of oil of oregano twice a day with meals. More if I eat a dessert. I've been doing this for over a year and I now rarely have gas. It's truly amazing. But, it may not work on its own - you may need other supplements/diet changes.

I have found by experience that taking one Citracal tablet (Calcium Citrate) twice a day is a total cure for my chronic flatulance. Of course, the added benefit of Calcium Citrate is stronger bones. But that's not why I take it. I take it strictly for gas. If there's ever 2-3 days when I fail to take it, I can certainly tell...pew!

Fenugreek

As a nursing mother, I take 12 pills of fenugreek a day to stimulate milk production. I still have rank gas. Fenugreek doesn't help me in the least bit.
Caraway Seed Tea

I've suffered from bad bloating and digestive problems my whole adult life. I was told by one specialist that I probably have IBS, but that I didn't need to bother with tests because there's not much to do about it besides learn which foods to avoid etc. Eliminating milk (besides buttermilk/kefir and butter) and cutting down on grains in recent months has helped a lot, but I saw another doctor who pointed out that IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion and I may as well find out if there's more to it than irritable bowels. So I'm now being tested for allergies, intolerances and any diseases that might be lurking in the stomach-area. I am excited to hear about the results of the tests, of course, but I'm more excited about just having discovered the wonders of CARAWAY-TEA! A few days ago it hit me: carraway seeds boiled with cabbage completely eliminates the otherwise hellish bloating (in me, anyway). So why not carraway on it's own?
And sure enough, just a teaspoon or two per cup of water (I either let the seeds boil for a few seconds before steeping, or crush them in a mortar and pour boiled water over) has made me a new and happier person. For over a week now I have been moving around with ease, no gas-attacks lasting for days or even hours, I'm no longer distracted by pains in my stomach and stiffness because of cramps. The strange thing is, it hasn't helped my over-all digestion because my bowel-movements are still helter-skelter. But without a doubt it works directly and efficiently on the gas. Supposedly you can chew it raw before meals, if you're prone to indigestion. I tried that, too, but didn't notice a difference so I'll stick with the after-meal tea (better-tasting than raw and dry).

I've been having some horrible digestive trouble for weeks, and most recently began experiencing horrible gas pains every 15 minutes. The gas was trapped and would not come out either end. After 3 days of suffering, I decided to give ACV a try at this website's recommendation. GAS PAIN GONE! Almost instantly, the gas pains disappeared and I began farting and burping. I have never felt so grateful for flatulence! :-D Thank God for Apple Cider Vinegar and this website!!!

Stomach Pain and/or Gas
Strawberries.
For any kind of stomach ache, gas pain, heart burn or stomach upset of any kind, I eat 4-6 frozen strawberries and the discomfort is gone instantly. This remedy has worked 100% of the time for me for many years. It has also worked 100% of the time for everyone I have told. My mother is 89 and takes several medications and supplements and sometimes gets terrible stomach pains and gas. She ate 5 frozen strawberries and by the time she ate the last one her pain and gas had disappeared. She is a devout skeptic and was amazed at the results.
I have tried this with many different varieties of strawberries and they all work. My favorite here in southwest Michigan is called Early Glow and we freeze about 60 qt. every year. Just hull the "caps", rinse in water, let drain in a colander and put into whatever size plastic freezer bag you prefer. Even if they are out of season in your area and you have to pay a higher price at a super market, get at least one qt. to keep in the freezer. When you get a stomach ache eat 4-6 of them and your pain should disappear.
I hope this helps you stop wasting money on expensive, super hyped, over the counter upset stomach chemicals that in my opinion just do not work and always made me feel worse.
Best Wishes For A Peaceful Future

This refers to the Gas trouble that Shalese from Syracuse, Utah has. A pinch of Carom Seeds, few minutes after every meal. You can consume water but only after five minutes of taking the carom seeds this relieves you from Gas. It is also a good antibiotic. It cured me and I now suggest every one. I do take it regularly.

Thanks so much to the person who recommended fennel seeds! I tried fennel seed tea because I thought it might work faster than the capsules and it has worked every morning I tried it for over a week now after drinking my two glasses of soy milk which usually give me terrible gas. The taste is great with about 3/4ths of a tsp. of agave syrup. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Angie
Goldenseal Enema

Hi, I have found a great gas/bloating remedy. If you put a capsule of golden seal in an enema bag with warm (purified) water, it makes the best enema. At least for me, it makes me go and go until I am completely clean and fresh. I like it much better than coffee, and it really clears my head. I feel like it gives the digestive tract a fresh start and cleanses my blood. This is also a great way to move out hardened waste and therefore lose some excess weight. It also seems to cure constipation which I used to get, but now is very rare, which usually comes on from eating something bad. I just do another enema! Also I do one whenever I feel like I am starting to get sick and if I do it early enough it just goes away. In fact I haven't taken a sick day in over 4 years! It only takes a few minutes to do and then I just jump in the shower. All the benefits of golden seal in a powerful and quicker way.

For GAS the best thing is to buy CHARCOAL PILLS ..they have coated (pink) and uncoted (black) its not medicine..its staright powder charcoal. take 2 at once. It absorbs toxins in your body ..like gas... they give it to poeple(in higher dose) when they overdose on drugs.
its perfectly safe...but checking with doctor is always good idea...every person is different.
{!!!} ONLY WARNING: if you are taking medicine for something...wait an hour before taking the charcoal...it will absorb ALL Toxins, that includes medicine you have taken.
I WISH YOU THE BEST!!!

Anise Seeds

Whenever anyone in the family has gas, we pop a tsp of anise seed into the mouth and chew it thoroughly, swallow it. It will completely stop the gassiness, and very quickly, too. I don't have exact measurements, but I'd say 1/2 teaspoon of whole seed. Chewing it thoroughly is important, and swallow it.

I tried a couple teaspoons of baking soda mixed in about one-half to three-quarters cup of water to relieve debilitating gas pains. Within about five minutes, the relief was setting in. After about 15 minutes, the gas pains were gone. It did cause me to expel some gas, too, which I was unable to do beforehand.

I used to have extreme flatulence and Coconut oil cured me. I've tried everything from Beno to "Mia Sposa es Loca" Oil and nothing has ever stopped my flatulence like Coconut oil. I'm a believer! I've also noticed that I no longer have the need to wear my Depend's Adult Diapers anymore. Thanks coconut oil you saved my marriage!
