Apple Cider Vinegar

I was curious about ACV and decided to take a 2T shot of it. Yikes! I thought I had poisoned myself. It burned my throat, my esophogus, and stomach sooooo bad! After I realized I wasn't going to die (ha ha) I started to relax. Later in the evening I kept thinking...What is this feeling I'm feeling? I realized it was what I wasn't feeling...heartburn, gas and muscle pain. I might try it again...this time diluted of course.
Baking Soda

I don't usually get gas but got busy and drank way too much coffee and practically no water all day so it was a bit of a puzzle to come here and find that I have nearly every remedy listed! LOL! Which to choose, which to choose - eeny meeny - I saw a lot about baking soda (yuck) but when I saw that someone used just 1/4 tsp of baking soda in water, I went with that and got some instant relief with a belch. I'm going to mix some light charcoal water, drink that and go to bed. Thanks again guys!!! Hugs!!

Took me a year to figure out that corn syrup causes me gas. I finally pinned my gas down to granola bars. Turns out they have corn syrup. Similar granola bars with sugar do not give me gas.
Get rid of corn syrup and get rid of gas!

Homemade Apple Juice

Given a few bags of apples, I decided to make some fresh apple juice using my juicer machine. It takes a little work straining them a few times to get rid of all the extra matter that comes along. But definitely well worth it. One night, awakened by stomach gases, running from the bed to the bath (I think you know what happened), I had to miss a day of work. The next morning still feeling horrible, I drank a glass of the juice. Immediately, I felt better. It cured my nausea and helped release all the gases and toxins in my system.
Swedish Bitters

Swedish bitters have, in my experience, been unbeatable for the relief of bloating, gas and constipation.
The intial recipe for bitters was attributed to Paracelsus in the 15th century. It was then revived by Jonathan Samst in the 18th century and later made popular by Maria Treben.
The Swedish Bitters elixir's benefits are numerous. It promotes biliary, pancreatic and gastric secretion, disinfects the intestinal track, relieves bloating, flatulence, cramps and nausea, encourages toxin elimination and is a gentle laxative. A teaspoon in the morning and evening diluted in water greatly improved my digestive health following a long episode of bloating.
Baking Soda

I always use about a teaspoon of Baking Soda dissolved in about 1/4 cup of warm water, for heartburn/too much stomach acid. It works immediately unlike Rolaids, etc and is not only cheap but usually readily available at home.
I brush my teeth with it too. I first put toothpaste on the brush and dip it in a small plastic container I keep in my bathroom. It removes plaque instantly and helps to keep my breath fresher.
I sprinkle about 1/2 a cup each week on top of the cat litter in the cat box to keep it from smelling. It works great in humid or rainy weather.
Baking Soda

As I'm writing this I can feel my stomach bubble from the baking soda. I also took two mild charcoal tablets and I'm sipping on tea. I've only gotten this sort of pain twice in my life, the last time it felt like I had a baby inside me trying to rip its way out. That was intense. I went to the hospital as I was really worried - they couldn't do anything as the beds were full and told me to wait! I eventually got better after originally taking 5 pills of two different pain killers, but jeez I wish they gave me reassurance that it was wind!
Nonetheless, with my story told, don't sit around wallowing in pain like I did for the las half hour. Get off your bum and make some herbal tea, scull some baking soda mixture, and invest in some charcoal tablets.

Anise Seeds

Whenever anyone in the family has gas, we pop a tsp of anise seed into the mouth and chew it thoroughly, swallow it. It will completely stop the gassiness, and very quickly, too. I don't have exact measurements, but I'd say 1/2 teaspoon of whole seed. Chewing it thoroughly is important, and swallow it.

I had horrible gas too for the longest time (since I got married 2 years ago). I do think it was partly because of birth control pills but I took acidophilis and I'm not smelling horrible any more!!

Upon ur suggestion I have tried the organic apple cider vinegar. Well, it seems it has started working. Now I don't feel lots of gas in my stomach.although some of it still remains. I think it will go too. Thanks to the acv but it should be organic. Don't drink it neat. It will harm ur throat. mix with quarter glass of water or juice. drink after having ur lunch and again after dinner.

I had major gas in my stomach for days and I couldn't get it out. I remember seeing the movie Doc Hollywood with Michael J Fox and they cured a little boy with a bottle of Coca Cola. So I tried it and it worked. If you ever have gas building up your stomach drink a coke.

Ginger Ale also seems to help break up the trapped gas right away.

ACV took away my (gas) pain! I, too, suffer from terrible gas -- just about everything in my heathy diet gives me a problem. Have tried many other things, such as Beano, Gas-X, etc. Nothing really made much difference. Decided to try the ACV, and have noticed a remarkable improvement in just one week: hardly any gas pains, rumbling noises, bloating -- just a little amount (normal) of flatulence in the a.m. I take a couple of tablespoons after meals, straight out of the bottle.

Be careful when drinking Apple Cider Vinegar neat as it can ruin the enamel of your teeth. Drink it with a straw so that it does not touch teeth and after that rinse teeth.

It can harm your esophagus too. Mixing with water and honey is yummy and equally effective (sans honey too).

Wonderful and informative site. I love it. Wayne, I am in total agreement with you. Angostura Bitters is just great. We use it for upset stomach, belly aches hangover etc. Adds great flavor to west indian cooking and drinks. Nothing beats a cool glass of lemonade/limeade with a few drops of AB on a hot day. I am using the ACV and soda remedy and seeing some results already. Will post comments in the near future. Keep up the good work. Peace and Love

I suffer from very bad gas. I used to be a fast food junkie and now eat lots of fruits veggies, and whole grains. I started using apple cidar vinegar to help with digestion since some of my gas didn't go away with cutting back the fast food. The Apple Cidar Vinegar really helps with these symptoms. I take 2 tbsp in the morning after breakfast, 2 after lunch and 2 or 3 tbsp before bed. I know it's alot but I now don't have strange noises coming from my stomache region while out in public.

Could you re-look at the ingredient label, as there is a big difference in corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup. hfcs is a chemically modified version of corn syrup that the liver has a very difficult job of metabolizing and so much of the hfcs is converted to a trigylyceride and stored in adipose tissue as fat.
Not only is hfcs bad because it's an adulterated, but it's bad from it's beginning as most all corn products are genetically modified organisms (gmo"s).
To help your digestion, take Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) daily as a drink or as tablet in supplement form. A good multivitamin/mineral supplement will also help digestion and energy levels and overall health.
Ozonated Water

For flatulence problems, buy an ozonator and drink a liter of ozonated water every morning on an empty stomach for at least 2 months. The ozone will kill all bad bacteria, viruses, fungus and other poisons in both the small and large intestine. I believe this will cure all gas problems. If you can not afford an ozonator, put one or two drops of food grade hydrogen peroxide into a glass of water and drink it on an empty stomach every morning for a few months. I believe these are also cures for cancer. Cancer is anaerobic and can not survive in the presence of oxygen. Ozone has 3 molecules of oxygen. It is called 03. Hydrogen Peroxide also introduces extra oxygen into the body. It is called H2O2. If you are in a hurry to be cured, a quicker way would be to empty yourself out completely by fasting for 5 days on nothing but ozonated water. It says in the bible that fasting is not a suggestion. It is an order and should be done annually. I am not a medical doctor or a bible expert.
Goldenseal Enema

Hi, I have found a great gas/bloating remedy. If you put a capsule of golden seal in an enema bag with warm (purified) water, it makes the best enema. At least for me, it makes me go and go until I am completely clean and fresh. I like it much better than coffee, and it really clears my head. I feel like it gives the digestive tract a fresh start and cleanses my blood. This is also a great way to move out hardened waste and therefore lose some excess weight. It also seems to cure constipation which I used to get, but now is very rare, which usually comes on from eating something bad. I just do another enema! Also I do one whenever I feel like I am starting to get sick and if I do it early enough it just goes away. In fact I haven't taken a sick day in over 4 years! It only takes a few minutes to do and then I just jump in the shower. All the benefits of golden seal in a powerful and quicker way.

I take coconut oil capsules. They clear constipation. They are also anti-fungal. They work great! I too get this appendix like pain and found that if I take two wormwood combination capsules (cloves, wormwood and black walnut hull), the pain goes away. Just take 2 before eating for a couple of weeks.

Lou, you realize what your issue is don't you? You do know what you're taking... Black walnut, cloves and wormwood... Is for parasites. Clearly if that's working for you and you have these symptoms, that's the problem you're dealing with. You should do a full cleanse with the combination you're taking and solve your problem. Also eat a non-parasite diet (no sugar, foods they don't like such as carrots, cranberry and garlic) along with it and get rid of the 'disharmony' (my acupuncturist has a nice way of talking about these things).
