Just because you haven't had an outbreak doesn't mean you are cured. I think you are misleading people by saying that. The only way to be cured is to get a test back for HSV which is negative! However, it is great feedback none the less.

I have mad lots of research on Herpes HSV2. I have tried L-Lysine, Immune Boosters, Red Marine Algae, Olive Leaf, and a few other supplements. The only results I got was not getting sick. Or if I did get sick I was over it within 24HRS. Then I ran into several articles that stated viruses can not live or can not thrive in a alkaline environment. I am not. I stopped this protocol. I do believe in it though. It's the only thing that I have seen work for me. I should have stayed on it another 6 months. I am not too sure about Synergy as lots of people have told me it didn't work for them. Their numbers did go down with Synergy though. One friend said his numbers went down but he stopped taking it after 6 months because he thought 6 months was the magical number of months. There are no magical number of months. You go until it becomes routine and you forget about it being a timed thing.

Been taking a quality magnesium citrate supplement. 400 mg every night. Hasn't stopped the occasional outbreaks. Curious as to if anyone has tried magnesium l-threonate? Or hearing thoughts on it. Supposedly it's the most effective magnesium for crossing the blood brain barrier. Since the virus hides in the spine I was hoping maybe adding magnesium threonate to my nighttime dose would be more effective. So I have slacked off big time on my regular lemon water regimen. And a huge outbreak popped up. I've been dealing with it for a month. This morning I started back drinking one and a half liters of lemon water a day. The DMSO and coconut oil help keep the sores from turning into blisters. But the sores would not go away. I started drinking lots of lemon water again at 9 a.m. this morning and it is now 4:30 p.m. The itching and burning has finally gone way down. So it seems the key to prevention is mostly the lemon water. I will still use the DMSO and coconut oil. I'm going to start adding in lecithin. But this is really and truly the dream combo for me. Final Update: I just decided to stop everything except lemon water. I went from drinking a warm cup of lemon water in the morning to drinking a whole squeezed lemon in 1.5 liters of water and drinking it throughout the day. The month long flare that would go away went away in 2 days. Drink it with a straw so the acid from the lemons don't damage your teeth. Also drink more water with electrolytes during the day because I've heard too much le.on water can dehydrate you if you don't drink anything else with it. All I needed was to drink more lemon water and drink it through the day. So it looks like all I need is a whe lemon squeezed in 1.5 liters and drink that every day. I understand some may not be able to handle the initial acidity of lemons, but as I understand, after digestion, it actually turns alkaline and can clear up acidity and inflammation in the body. So turns out drinking enough lemon water during the day is all I need.

I have been experiencing vaginal herpes for over five years now and used to use prescription drugs to heal such as Valtrex. Since then I have discovered that borax has healed them with the use of some petroleum jelly a pinch of hydrogen peroxide and approximately 1/4 tsp borax. Obviously, depending on the amount of the break out more would be needed. I am so happy not to use Valtrex anymore due to effects that if can cause overtime to the liver. I also do not currently have health insurance so it is very cost effective. Plus not going to a doctor to discuss my personal issue has helped greatly.
Just wanted to share in case this could help someone else who may have the same issue. :)

I just recently contracted hsv2 (about 2 weeks ago) Since then I've been going through a horrible depression and bad thoughts have come to my mind. I'm only 32 and this has affected me enormously. But, I still want to keep my hopes up, I still want to believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Since my first outbreak I started reading every article you can imagine, and what I have already implemented in my routine has been an almost vegan diet, mainly fruits and vegetables.
I have been taking lysine 3,000mg daily and also have been putting lysine ointment on my lips. For my first breakout I just had genital ulcers nothing showed up in my face but just felt this tingling sensation. But, I applied daily the lysine ointment to prevent anything from coming out, and till now it seemed to work. I would like to know, if you have hsv2 how likely is it to get it on the lips or face? This is extremely a concern for me. What else can I implement in care routine to prevent the breakout specially on my lip area.

Try taking 'Curcumin' (not 'tumeric'). Buy high mgs capsules ... start by taking 2 caps morning and 2 night. Lots of water. Do this for 2 months. Then go back to 1 morning and 1 night. Never miss a day! NEVER! This is what stops outbreaks. If the outbreaks come back - you may need to go back to 2 capsules Am and Pm... I have had it since I was 19, I'm 40. Maybe 6 outbreaks ever. Never on my face. I know a lot of people that get cold sores but not the other...so Idk if people get both or how that works exactly. I have some pills from the doctor and hand if ever I have an outbreak. The 2nd outbreak, about a year after the first was PAINFUL, made it hard to walk😫🤬☹️ It was extremely depressing. People can be carriers for years and not even know they had been having internal outbreaks or whatever. Scary. I'm happily married and have learned to accept it and THANK GOD it only comes on once a year if that. Keep your head up.
Coconut oil helps applied directly. ACV burns but dapping the spots with it will help. Antibacterial, viral, anti fungal...as is coconut oil, oregano oil...not sure which of the others, maybe almond?

It seems to be having issues keeping threads up over at the Honeycomb HSV forum due to factions within the community. I did use the Synergy protocol - Dec ‘18- Sept ‘19. My IgG score started at 14.5 and was 17.8 nine months later. I noticed after a month a huge lessening in symptoms and that continued the whole time such that I felt ‘cured' until I got my test results. I took some months off for my liver to rest and later started my own protocol using their suggested products but from different supplement providers as the company was shut down for a bit due to shipping and new ownership issues.
A year later, this past September, my IgG score was 12.5. I believe I've been symptom free since November and need to test again. I will give Synergy praise for their excellent customer service. You don't need to be a paying customer for them to help you tweak your diet and supplements. I learned from them that Vitamin C is high in Arginine - I was daily taking a few thousand grams of it. I feel truly cared for. The price is the same whether you use theirs or buy the listed products locally. In my break period I met a young lady that had been cured by their protocol but her starting IgG score was less than 3 and she started it right away. That may be critical in the cure as any score 5> is high. Sadly, she has since gotten reinfected and is back on their protocol. Her asymptomatic partner's IgG score had come down from 9 to 6 in two months on Synergy. In lieu of their mystery amino acids, I am using 500mg Glutamine on an empty stomach both morning and night, 500mg Glycine at bedtime on an empty stomach, and 500mg Methionine with food in the morning along with 45mg Zinc Gluconate and 200mcg Selenium. I take 500mg Lysine 4x/day on an empty stomach. They have approved of my added Vitamin D3, Ubiquinol, Magnesium, Vitamin B Complex, Green Tea Extract and ApoLactoferrin. Their website also suggests, and I take apart from the amino acids, Melatonin and Monolaurin. Rhodiola Rosea, Tribulus, and Astragulas in 750mg dosages are also included in their protocol and taken away from my personal protocol. They emphasize staying away from Arginine foods as the body processes it differently from Lysine and Herpes will make a little go a long way for replication. A guy I know also used it and it didn't work for him but he wouldn't give up high Arginine beer nor make any needed dietary or lifestyle changes otherwise. I've started the ACV regimen by soaking a cotton ball in it 3-4 times a day also pouring a little when I bathe.. I'm also using tea tree oil as well. I felt a lesion bear rectum. Now the right side of inner cheek is raw and when I wipe I see as if a scab has peeled. I'm in a lot of pain I'm currently trying the cornstarch method. I'm just scared and confused and will I see any results? The medication for HSV 2 is too costly. I need some relief and once or if this is going away will I still need the medicine? I am going from memory here, but I believe if you go back and read Oscar's BHT dosage recommendations, you are taking a much larger dose than he recommended. One or two 250 a 500 mg. capsules/day, depending on your size, is what I think he said.

Recently I contracted genital HSV 1. I've been doing a lot of research as how to fight this virus. In another website I read of a couple of cases where people ingested organic neem oil (cold pressed) while continued on a strict healthy diet and following Dr. Hulda Clark's various cleanses. They both had stated that they were cured.
They both ingested 3-4 Tablespoons of Neem seed oil twice a day (about 4 hours apart each time) for two days consecutively. It seemed as if they would only do it again month apart given that the Neem Oil is harsh on the body.
I have read that consuming the neem seed oil can be harmful to the body (I guess it depends on what kind of body). Has anyone tried this and had success in killing off this horrible virus?

In a small container, I mix coconut oil and pure oil of oregano. When an outbreak starts, I put this mixture on - and continue applying until it goes away. This has speeded up the healing and diminished the pain.
Oil of Oregano is an anti-viral and coconut oil is a mid-chain fatty acid that supposedly dissolves the outer covering of the virus, thus allowing the body's white cells to destroy it.

Can you give us an update if hypericum has kept you both breakout free? Did you or Ali ever get tested? I have so many questions. My life is controlled by this horrendous disease. I just ordered hypericum from Biogetica. Can you tell me exactly what (else) you took? Were you on a certain diet? I would pay good money to speak with either of you guys. I've been trying for 4 years to get rid of this stupid disease. I am so desperate. Thank you for your reply!

I've been expriencing herpes symtoms. I am worried I will lose my job because I have medical exam each contract. I'm working on the ship, my family is waiting to me and my girlfriend. Having herpes means you will be rejected to medical exam. Please help.

I need help with a question please. Every time I start taking apple cider vinegar I get an outbreak of herpes. I take coconut oil daily and it always keeps me from having outbreaks but when I add the apple cider vinegar it brings one on. Why is this? I alkalize and check my pH daily. Can anyone tell me what I need to change here or do or why please. Thanks much.

I have been recently diagnosed and have been researching methods. It sounds like apple cider could be one of your "triggers" . Mixing coconut oil and tea tree oil helps me.
