Please read up on Lugol's iodine (or iodoral) for ovarian cysts. You can find info from Dr. Brownstein, an expert on iodine and glandular disorders, including ovarian cysts. Lugol's drops will be much cheaper than iodoral tablets. I believe the recommended starting dosage is typically 25-100 mg a day until iodine deficiency is treated. Ovarian cysts can sometimes disappear without any medical intervention.

Hi Dyon,

I remember watching a video interview with a leading Naturopath, Dr. L. Coldwell.

In the topic you are talking about, the Dr. said to use a baking soda rinse. In no time it will be gone. Remember Baking Soda NOT Baking Powder.

Good luck Dyon

What seems to be working for me is palatable beet gummies and ACV gummies. 2 x a day. I was diagnosed by ultrasound and catscan with large 10×14 cm ovarian cyst and endometrial bodies, and a small fibroid on joy l

Spme suggesting surgery but I'm not in any pain. Mostly what's coming out of me is mucus clear no blood. But even if blood was coming out I would only be concerned if I was in pain.
That's all I got folks.

I'm not totally opposed to surgery but I do pray to God for answers.

There you go.🥰😇🕊🤗🌠

For uterine fibroids or ovarian cysts, which have a high possibility of being caused by too much estrogen in the system, try Calcium D-Glutarate. It removes excess estrogen and helps with many female problems.

Or was the TOTAL PER DAY 1,130mg and 400mg respectively?

Wheatgrass

Dry wheatgrass for brain tumor and cysts within uterus.

A friend of mine told me that she was advised by an old man to take wheatgrass for two large cysts that were found inside the uterus. The old man cured his own brain tumor with wheatgrass and thus he suggested to this friend also to use for her own problem. As my friend told me, she also has hemorrhages, due to the cysts. She started taking dried wheatgrass powder, twice a day. In a period of six months, the doctor could not find any cysts.

Thanks Magaret,

I blended some oranges, beetroots, garlic, ginger, blackstrap molasses, ACV. Sis, it worked for my constipation. I am so relieved.

My supplements are listed here: Echinacea, Dong Quai, Vitex, Maca, DIM.

Meanwhile, my sleeping habit has really changed. I sleep really well. I usually wake up in the middle of the night but I don't anymore. I eat more of green leaves plus oatmeal and beans.

I pray everything works for me. I will surely update you.

I appreciate sis.

Hi, good evening!

Honestly l don't remember and can not recall being constipated while taking the supplements or following the treatment when I usually do twice a year.

So basically you are feeling changes in your bowel movements since you started? Did you suffered from constipation in the past? The "little bit of pain" as you referred can be caused by the constipation as well.

If anything, molasses is well known for encouraging a gentle bowel movement. Try to add a little bit more to your daily intake. Dried prunes or prune juice is excellent for treating constipation as well.

Give it a try to see. Do you have any pelvic, transvaginal testing scheduled to be done soon?

Please, I know 2017 was a long time ago. Do you remember if you felt constipated? I am so constipated. I have to been eating much of pear and grapefruits before I am able to get Bowel Movement.

Good afternoon! My pleasure.

Very sorry to hear about your past experience. I can only imagine the pain. But keep the faith and stay positive.

The brand I used was Dong Quai Root, 1,130 mg, 100 Vegan Capsules by NATURE'S WAY. The Echinacea was also the same brand, Purpurea Herb 400mg.

About a year ago, I also added to my treatment, Vitex Fruit, 400 mg, 100 Vegan Capsules, also by Nature's Way. The testimonials from this herb are impressive. You can take it in conjunction with the Dong Quai, and the Echinacea.

Hope this information will help you. Please, please keep me updated .

Margaret,

THANK YOU for your prompt response. GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU MORE. I had a miscarriage in March 2021. That was when the ovarian cyst and fibroid inside my uterus and outside my uterus were found. But it kept getting bigger and learned it is complex. My CA 125 is above normal.

I just ordered both this evening. Hopefully, to be delivered before Sunday. I just started beetroot, molasses, ACV 3 days ago. My period came immediately the following day.

Please, can you share the brand name of the Dong Quai and Echinacea that is really good? I got nature way for Dong Guai and Hoorbach for the Echinacea.

I pray it works for me. I have been praying against surgery.

Hi there Amy. Good afternoon.

Taking these supplements has been shown to help with fertility. By the way, this same treatment was taken by my daughter's friend who was having problems conceiving due to multiple ovarian cysts and other reproductive system issues. She got pregnant and she gave birth to a beautiful baby. That was over a year ago.

One of my sister's friends, pretty young as well, had a miscarriage a whild ago. I don't know the details but she was also suffering from multiple cysts as well. My sister suggested to follow the same treatment and after taking it and testing all her cysts disappeared.

Since 2017 I haven't got any more cysts and no signs of uterine fibroid. When they first discovered the fibroid the doctor said to me that it was about the size of a golf ball.

Like I always say, it doesn't hurt to try. Just be cautious about taking the Dong Quai while having your period because it might make you bleed more, because of the anticoagulant properties. And obviously, stop taking prior to any type of surgery as the doctors say with aspirin, etc.

Please keep me updated. I love to hear about the positive testimonials that way I will keep sharing.

Have a good day. Blessings!

I have an ovarian cyst that gets better when I drink green tea; it also helps greatly with cramps and other period issues. I only drink loose leaf green tea, and I make it by using one tablespoon in 1 1/2 cups water, at a hot but not boiling temperature, and steep for five minutes. It makes a strong cup, so you might want to steep it for a shorter period of time. I make at least two cups a day initially, but you can reduce it when your symptoms subside.

Dear Mehnaaz, So good to hear from you! I suppose I am biased as a mother to many and a growing number of grandbabies...but I think it would be worth it to try! I do know several women who have had long gaps between children with no ill effect on anyone. You are still yet young for having another baby and it sounds like your GYN is giving you the go ahead to try! Risks- there are every day risks in all of life and babies have been worth every one for me. We are blessed to live in a time with much better care for complications of pregnancy than in times past. My older children have always responded very well to having a little baby in the house. My grown children are all quite amazing with little children, in part due to having siblings much younger than they. (My oldest child was 17 when his youngest brother was born.) I was 44 when that baby was born and had no complications. I wish you well - please keep us posted!

Respected seniors and my dear Mama To Many, Hoping great for everyone, after a long time, I am here for asking help from you all caring people for a very serious step of my life, which should be taken or not? I'm 33yrs old, female. I had married 13 yrs ago in 2006 and have a daughter of 12yrs (delivered with a large ovarian dermoid cyst). After 5yrs,in 2012, again due to recurrence of dermoid oopherectomy( only left ovary had been removed) had been done(this time cyst size was of 14cm). And now since last 7yrs, (after 2012) I have right side ovary wd ovarian dermoid cyst of 5cm,regular cycles n a healthy uterus and all. Since last 3yrs size of cyst also didn't increase but I have pain in my right side from neck to leg due to a pinched nerve (lumber cum cervical ???). Cancer is my paternal family disease. Last year my CA test report is 9 u/ml while My current CA test is 29 u//ml normal range is 34 u/ml. What would be the reason of increase, is it OK? We never tried for (second pregnancy) CONCEIVING second baby since last 12yrs due to these issues. But now we are seriously want second baby and my gyno also gave us treatment with an instruction that before increasing size of cyst anymore you must take a chance. My question is that inspite of all above mentioned problems Should we take a chance or it will be a stupidity ? Will it be possible easily? What risks can be occur to mother and baby ? A very long gap? What precautions should be taken? Eagerly waiting for your caring response, thanks a lot.

Hi Lillian -

Further to Mama to Many's excellent suggestions (castor oil packs are great for so many things), I found an article about a woman who was able to take care of her own cyst to avoid surgery.

It might be worth a read for some general ideas. But – like in all things – everyone is different.

https://www.thefurtherist.com/self-care/how-i-got-rid-of-an-ovarian-cyst-in-3-months

She linked to an article about one of the supplements she was taking N-acetylcysteine (NAC).

You may want to read the comments at the end of the page from other women who have cysts. Some used the author's protocol and others made changes with varying results.

If you are able, it might be a good idea to get a second opinion from a functional doctor. They have a tendency to look at the bigger picture and use alternative protocols.

Take care - I wish you the best of luck!

Dear Lillian,

I have used castor oil and frankincense for ovarian cysts with success.

One time I had a cyst that I could feel through my abdomen and used castor oil and frankincense. I was on vacation. By the time I got home and could get in for an ultrasound the cyst had all but gone.

I used Hopewell Frankincense essential oil. I massaged it onto the abdomen where the cyst was several times a day. I used castor oil packs at night. I would put castor oil onto a square of flannel or t-shirt (fold it over several times so that you end up with 6x6 square of several layers.) Over that I placed plastic wrap. Leggings would keep it in place over night. I would use a heating pad over that on the lowest setting. (But if you are heat sensitive, only use that for 30 minutes and then remove it.) Alternately, you could use a hot water bottle or a warm rice sock. The heat helps to drive the castor oil in.

I used the castor oil every night. Sometimes I would also massage castor oil into the area during the day as well.

You could try the Apple Cider Vinegar and blackstrap, also. I use them for many things but have not used them for cysts.

Please let me know how it goes. I hope that you can avoid surgery.

Hi,

I hope someone reads this. Last month I went to the emergency room in agony and was told that my ovary was twisted, he seemed to assume I knew about it, well in any case today I went to a Gynecologist who informed me that it is the size of an"ORANGE".

Well I had been to see him four yrs ago and apparently he told me about the cysts, yet didn't say, "I want to keep an eye on these, see you in 3 months" or whatever, so now they want to perform a complete hysterectomy,

Also, I'm 70 yrs old and have never had an operation, I am petrified, do you think that the ACV and Molasses would help me?

While I was still having a period I never had cramps, they could boil me in oil and I would start every 28 days, so this really came out of left field,

I hope someone reads this, hugs Lillian

Hi there. Hope it works for you as well.

The dosage:

1 spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 spoon of molasses. Mix together on a 4 to 5oz of warm water, early in the morning on empty stomach. The same dosage before going to bed every night.

3 Echinacea pills, plus 2 Dong Quai pills. Up to 3 times a day.

I did this for a 3 week period without missing any dosage.

Note: if you are taking any blood thinner, need to take precautions with the Dong Quai. And if you are suffering from cancer as well. Try to reduce or eliminate the consumption of aspirin. Stop taking Dong Quai during your menstrual cycle. If you are pregnant, consult your doctor first.

Till this day, year 2020, my last ultrasound showed no signs of ovarian cysts or uterine fibroids, thank God! I try to do this treatment at leat 3 times a year.

Your remedies sound good! Thanks! And for fast relief from cyst pain, you may also want to try castor oil packs with moist heat added (remember to wear old clothes you don't care too much about, and cover your castor oil pack with plastic to help keep your clothes and bedding from getting soaked and stained - if you prefer instant clean up afterwards try a bit of baking soda to cut the oil from your skin) Castor oil is wonderful to penetrate through hurting tissues and repair them gently!

Posted by Paulos (Amarillo, Tx) on 01/11/2018

Don't know how late I am and I'm not an expert, but know a little about Aloe. Aloe can be very astringent and need a ‘cutting' type of herb to be mixed with it such as cinnamon, ginger or cayenne to accompany it. Aloe should be used sparingly, like a week on, a week off.

The molasses, may contribute to yeast / fungal increase and or infections.

Beet roots may also have a high oxalate content which may lead to calcification (biliary stones) or stenosis (?). These enzymes may lead to gastric disturbances or discomfort. I understand that using a strong decoction of slippery elm and red clover blossoms as a douche directly into the vaginal cavity is of great benefit for cysts, fibroids and/or uterine cancers...

ACV and blackstrap don't cause ovulation to start. They feed the body so it will work better. Taking them may improve your health and allow ovulation to happen.

Also, look into hormone balancing herbs, borax, and a good diet. (Though not a diet high in animal products. Too many competing hormones, even in organic meats.)

This is my story. MARGARET D. STORY.

Please feel free to share.

I feel the responsibility of sharing my story, because someone out there, might benefit from it.

A couple of months ago, an ultrasound test indicated an ovarian cyst on my left ovary. A complex one. For those who are not too familiar with the term, a complex ovarian cysts, is not a result of the menstrual cycle process as a "simple" ovarian cyst might be. A complex ovarian cysts can result in overgrowth, leading to further complications. This also includes the risk of ovarian cancer.

My cyst was largely replacing the left ovary. That's why, the surgery topic was imminent to avoid future complications. My right ovary was affected too by a "simple cyst".

In one of my conversations with the doctor, I asked her if there was any other way to get rid of the problem to avoid surgery. Sadly she said "no". My left ovary was going to be removed as well.

An MRI was performed as well. The cyst actually was getting bigger.

My brain was set up for surgery. But while waiting for my insurance to approve the procedure, I started to overthink: What if I can get rid of the cyst with natural alternatives?

After hours, and hours of research, and after reading testimonies after testimonies, I decided to try it. Why not? I didn't want to go though surgery PERIOD!!

I came across Apple Cider Vinegar, molasses, Echinacea and Dong Quai.

Update:

My last trans abdominal and trans vaginal ultrasound was performed August 9, 2017 and got the results on August 16, 2017.

Results: No indications of either cysts. Not even a trace. CYSTS ARE GONE!!

I hope this information can help you or can help anyone you know that is going through the same or similar situation.

If it worked for me, can work for someone else. Keep the faith and GO FOR IT!

Hi, I was a couple of months ago diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, an ultrasound scan found small cysts approx. 15mm on both ovaries and I've been experiencing pelvic pain.

After looking into natural remedies I started taking a teaspoon of Applecider vinegar in a small glass of water and black treacle (Black strap molasses UK equivalent) I made the black treacle into bonfire toffee to make it more palatable and took both twice a day. I also tried to improve my diet more fruit veg fish etc increase exercise plus took multi vitamins. I'm not sure whether any of the above helped but 2 months later all the cysts have gone. They may have gone on their own or some or all of the above may have helped. I still have some pelvic pain but not as severe.

I had a friend with ovarian cysts. She took iodoral tablets for two months and when she went back to her doctor for another exam they were gone. Worth a try.

Dear Bmathew,

You might want to look into castor oil packs for your ovarian cyst. I have had great success with that.

When I was 37 I was told that the only fallopian tube I had (lost other to rupture) was blocked and that I would not be able to have children anymore but have had children since then. I didn't even do anything to treat that.

Don't lose heart. Keep reading! There are many natural things you can try. :)

Hi Nicole, I am exactly at your situation right now. I just had my surgery last week and lost my left ovary. Before the surgery doctors told me that my right ovary is perfectly fine. But while surgery, they found out that even my right ovary has a 6cm cyst, they talked to my husband and told him that they can remove both my ovaries but he said no and asked them to preserve it. I am just 27 and have no kids. I feel so shattered. I dont know what to do. I still donno if the removed one was cancerous or not. I am still waiting for my final results.

Hello,

I was diagnosed of cystic masses of about 1.2cm on both adnaxae a month ago, and I took ACV and Molasses for 2weeks to shrink it or prevent it from growing but I discovered that my cycle which usually last for 4-5days, it now 3days. I am so scared right now if I haven't done more harm to myself because, my cycle has always be normal and I have never felt pain. pls could the ACV and Molasses be the reason in the reduction of my menstruation shorten to 3 days? if yes! What can I do to regularize it cos I am dead scared. I am 40yrs old and would be getting married soon.

Kal_el, I just read your post replying to Cynthia on 2/22/15 re: H202 for dissolving ovarian cysts. You said you introduced it to your wife because she had a severe problem with ovarian cysts. I would like to know did H202 rid your wife of her cysts. I too suffer from repeated ovarian cysts. I presently have one that is huge and the doctor wants to surgically remove it.

Please share with me how long I should take H202 and if your wife is cysts free now. Thanks for your post and I will await your reply.

Hi Joanne, I just read your post of 12/12/16 and you are replying to a post and you stated "it's the sulfur" that is needed to breakdown the cancer cells. I tried to find the post you were replying, but could not locate it.

What type of sulfur are you referring? Is the sulfur in the molasses or another kind of sulfur? Thanks and I will await your reply please.

To: Rahoz re: Cynthia and Joe's comment

Rahoz, I hope you are still part of this site. I just read your reply of 2014. I have a history of developing ovarian cysts since 1990s. I have, unfortunately, had five ovarian cysts surgically removed over the years. Initially, I was told by my OB/GYN that he thought I might have PCOS but he was not sure. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in the 1990s. I never knew why these cysts developed and grew rapidly. Of course, my doctors' only remedy was surgery. I have always taken Synthyroid for my thyroid condition. I also eat cruciferous vegetables, which I was not aware I should not be eating. I developed Ovarian Cancer too in this huge cyst that I have now.

Rahoz, I would like to take the ACV and molases but I am afraid of my cyst growing and the cancer cells growing because of the sugar in the molases. I want to come up with a plan to prevent my body from developing these cysts.

Do you have any suggestions? Thanks very much for your assistance and I will await your reply.

Yes, I have used castor oil for my ovarian cysts. I have two left ovarian cysts but I used castor oil three/four times a week on my ovary and massage then put hot water bag for an hour. I used it for five months then I went back for my cysts and it went out after all. I believe in castor oil can cure ovarian cysts and strongly recommended for women who suffering in this problem.

Dear Ugbokee,

I'm so glad to read about your safe delivery. I was so scared at first when I saw the cyst was getting bigger and I was all smiles and filled with relief when I saw it worked. You just have me hope.

Please tell me how you did your combination.. in what measurements?

Thank you.

Jessica, I would also look into adding natto serrapeptase to your regimen. Please research online. There are numerous reports on Amazon alone, for example, on how it dissolved clots and tumors. Best of luck.

Nelson,

How did this work for your wife? I was diagnosed with an ovarian teratoma a few months ago (skin, hair, teeth, bone, etc) when I had a catscan in the ER from an accident. An MRI a week ago showed it was larger and that some other type of cyst is now growing in my other ovary. I have been told surgery is the ONLY option. I have been taking BSM for months to no avail. Added ACV daily a week ago as well as castor oil packs. I think I'm going to either start mixing the castor oil with DMSO or take a small dose of DMSO daily orally. For pain, NOTHING works as well as topical DMSO (and this includes prescription pain meds). I don't know what else to try. I'm already taking flax/fish/borage oil, serrapatase, dandelion root, millk thistle, turmeric, garlic, and some others (B's, potassium, etc).????

EC: Hi Abigail,

Here are some image searches on Google that will help you locate these items in your grocery store, health food store or online.

Blackstrap Molasses - Bottles of Blackstrap Molasses are usually found near the sugar in USA grocery stores
Aloe Vera - what the plant looks like
Aloe Vera - the juice supplement people often buy
Beets

Hope this helps!

Do you have the exact recipe for the beet juice and how much you take each time?

It's the sulfur. It causes the outside layer of the cancer cell to break down and open up so the immune system can destroy it. You need something to open it up (B-17, sulfur, etc), and something to strengthen your immune cells to kill it, reishi, etc. The two combined and cancer doesn't stand a chance.

Dear Cindy,

I agree that healing should not hurt this much.

I would definitely go slower with the treatment you are pursuing. You might want to just add one new ingredient a week so you know how each suits you.

If severe pain continues or you have other symptoms I would get medical attention. As I mentioned in this thread before, severe pain when you have a cyst could be a torsion. An untreated torsion could affect future fertility.

I hope you feel better soon!

Hello Mama...

Can you tell me if it is normal to be in extreme pain after starting the ACV, Molasses, beets, ginger, lemon, honey for ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids? I can hardly move at this point and I don't want anything to burst and end up in ER...I'm hoping it's just inflammation and taking aloe vera gel straight from the plant will remedy this pain...My thinking is that I need to go slower, perhaps less ingredients too...I just don't feel natural healing should hurt this much.. What are your thoughts?? Thank you very much and God Bless.

Hello, I have just started mixing the ACV, the BSM, and the Beet Root powder. I have been taking it for maybe 2 weeks now. I have ovarian cyst and I want another baby soon so im preparing m body now. I went to the obgyn in October. Was told that I had a cyst on my right ovary and was put on bc. I stop taking the bc because when I went back 6 weeks later, the cyst on the right had shrunk but there was a small one on my left ovary now. So I've decided to take the holistic approach. I've been trying the concoction for maybe 2 weeks now, I've felt so much better but I have another Dr. visit on 12/12/16 to get a glimpse at the cyst to see how they're doing and what the odds are for conceiving in the future. I will keep you updated. God Bless!!!

I rubbed castor oil on my lower abdomen then placed a piece of plastic over my abdomen then used a padded heating pad on low for about a month to dissolve a cyst on my ovary. A castor pack will work as well. But do not use during your cycle.

I am also having an ovarian cycst problem. I am 56 years old. I have been having pain in my vagina area when I visited my gyn and did an ultra sound I was told that I have a cyst. I was also sent to do blood test and x ray which I have not yet done. However, I have been trying the apple cider vinegar and the molasses but not on a large scale. My greatest challenge is that it makes me urinate most of the nights so I get little or no sleep. Please give me your advise.

Hello Maria,

Thank you for posting the good information on the site about natural cures for ovarian cyst. My wife has a 10 cm complex dermoid cyst on her right ovary and has been suffering tremendously from bloating, abdominal pain, digestive problems, etc. Her CT scan of the cyst shows human tissue such as “teeth, hair, skin and fat tissues” and the doctor said this type of cyst has to be removed surgically because it doesn't go away on its own. But my wife refused to have surgery because we just got married and still want to have a baby. However, none of the doctor sound positive about preserving the ovary if surgery is involved.

We were very encouraged by reading your post about shrinking the cyst using natural methods. We'd really appreciate any additional information from you which could help my wife's situation. We were wondering if your complex cyst was also of the dermoid type, having teeth fat, and hair tissue. Did you have an CT scan done that showed these tissues?

Thank you so much for your kindness and help. Any information will be greatly appreciated. It gives us hope to know of the different natural cures that you have taken. My wife already started drinking black molasses and applying the castor oil ever since we read your posting.

God bless you.

Best regards,

- Nelson
