I was diagnosed with a benign ovarian cyst. Last sono, was 1 month ago. Dr said it was benign, but we should remove it because of the size. With that they want to take my ovaries out too. I'm 52 and probably don't need them anymore, but I was freaking out. I went home and googled holistic cures, and since then I've been taking 1 tablespoon of blackstrap molasses and 1 tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar 2 x a day...

Verdict as of yesterday. My cyst went from 7.71 to 6.67, my fibroid went from a 4.99 to a 3, and from uterine lining went from thick to perfect!!! How about that for a holistic cure, and the prayer of god. I will continue this for the rest of my life!!! There are a lot of benefits from drinking these 2 products....

Hi,

I just wanted to share with you something amazing, I had a complex dermoid ovarian cyst for 17 years, that the doctor said would never go away and that he recommended having surgery for it, and now it's gone! It used to be 4.2 cm, so not huge, but still.

It took me 1.5 years though and as I did so many things I'm not sure which one worked, so unfortunately I don't have any top tip of what to do, but it is probably due to one of these factors or a combination of some (or all).

- Blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar with warm water twice a day (not the best for your teeth though...) for the first half year.

- Special herb teas from the herbalist twice a day for the first 6 months (can't remember what was in there - cardamon and other spices).

- No meat, no sugar (except natural sugar in fruits and blackstrap molasses), no dairy, no soy products and almost only wholgrain when it comes to flour products, no processed food, cooked everything myself from scratch for the first 6 months, after that there I half went back to my previous eating habits, but partly my new eating habits stayed.

- Castor oil packs on a regular basis, kept it for about an hour while watching TV.

- Healing (reiki and reconnective - my herbalist told me issues in this area of the body often are emotional).

And on another note, that first half year when I ate super healthy and took the herbs - I didn't have any period pains!

So despite not being able to tell you exactly what it was that worked for me, I mostly wanted to let you know that despite my cyst being dermoid and of the more complicated type, and having had it for so long, alternative therapies can work. And now I'm doing some research on how to solve my other health issue...

Good luck to you all and just hang in there when times are tough! Lots of love

Worked for me. I found out I was pregnant and had a large cyst on my ovary. Went to ER and they said this happens sometimes because the ovary is producing hormones to support the pregnancy. I went home and for a week took a tables poon molasses and chased with juice and acv. After a week I saw the obstetrician and did an ultrasound he was baffled because he couldn't find the cyst. Because I cured it with Blackstrap Molasses and acv.

I wish you all the best; please stay diligent with both doctors and alternative treatments! Especially beware of potential conflicts (cysts can be cancerous; cancer feeds on iron; molasses is iron rich).

ATTN ALL WOMEN: Please consider (and share) my recent experience with Ovarian Cancer, for all our/our sisters/daughters sakes: I became very sick (up & down) over a decade ago (despite great health/diet/lifestyle/athleticism; then hundreds of doctor visits; meanwhile trying most "every thing under the sun" to recover, including most all the remedies here at EC)! Eventually I was (mis?)diagnosed with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple chemical sensativities, arthritis, etc. (and a plethora of other ailments, unusual symptoms, etc).

Fortunately, many/most of my ailments/symptoms abated after a recent radical hysterectomy, because the culprit was actually OVARIAN CANCER (OC); (found accidentally when I was preparing for a "liver gallbladder cleanse" and palpating my naval area/lower waist, and found several large rock-hard lumps, [assumed by my PCP & GYN to probably be simple fibroids; but NOT! ]).

Unknowingly, I also had ALL the precursors of OC (but not one doctor, specialist, OBGYN, or urologist, had connected-the-dots):

1) I still had my regular period/menses at age 57.

2)I had started my menses very young (9/10 years old)

3) I had never had children or used chemical birth control

4) I had suddenly become quite overweight & bloated looking in the past 2 years (despite a VERY healthy lifestyle/diet; albeit had become too ill to do much 'exercise' beyond necessities of daily living).

5)I had increasing urinary leaks/watery discharge diagnosed as "stress incontinence" (drips & surges during coughs/sneezes etc).

NOTE: Most women with OC never experience any symptoms of "illness", thus OC is called "The Silent Killer" (a deadly ailment now quite prevalent among many middle aged women)!

MY GOOD NEWS: Within months of surgery (removal of all female organs, plus some) many of my symptoms abated: much illness & pains are gone; all my body hair started growing back, as did my nails! All my skin marks/scars changed from dark purple/black to light pink, & are fading still! My skin is moist, not dry/flaking/reactive. I am no longer "freezing to death"in Hawaii/Florida; my BP is almost back to normal; my joints/muscles no longer hurt 24/7; night sweats are less troubling (hot flashes are still here, but no nearly as bad/often); and many other notable improvements.

Because of my previous great health, my hard work, strong faith in God, and dilligence, determination, and die-hard commitment to find & utilize super nutrition & alternative treatments, I chose not to do chemo as a prophylactic. My doctor was not happy about this; however he now praises me for my decision since I have repeatedly tested cancer free thus far (via blood & tissue tests, and abdominal washings).

So, please ladies, go to a Womens Center (specialists in womens issues) for your annual GYN checks if possible, esp if you have these "common denominators" or are having 'unusual' problems! Otherwise, be sure to plead with your OBGYN to watch for HIDDEN female/ovarian problems (which often are assumed to be thyroid problems or simply 'hormone' issues).

Good Luck & Best wishes to You/Yours!

Dear Maegan,

The blackstrap molasses is important for the remedy. But some find that apple cider vinegar alone is enough to cure cysts. You could add honey to sweeten it but I don't think it actually helps the cysts.

Please also try castor oil packs for your cyst. It helped me very much with one a couple of years ago.

Crystals are a good idea! What kind? white clear quartz?

I have wild Red Raspberrys down the street, you put it in vodka and make a tincture?

Or eat the leaves wild?

I can't find beets, not near stores, am using raw beet organic powder.

How does the apple cider vinegar play in? Drink it in water separately? I usually drink this stuff anyway, I do drink WAY too much coffee. I have a squishy bump, was freaking out and couldn't sleep. Going to try the beets, aloe vera and molasses. Do you need the molasses or aloe vera though? I don't have a lot of extra money, it's the beet itself that will try to shrink the cyst?

I think it is worry, stress and coffee.

I also don't think these will burst and you will die! I think they are common, an online article said 3 or 4 women get them. I am not trying to get pregnant, I just found a squishy bump yesterday. I am 90% raw, and 100% vegan.

I just drink craploads of coffee every morning, unhappy with my job and addicted to coffee.

My period lasts 2 days only, every month, since I'm raw it's almost gone.

I'm going to stop drinking from plastic containers too, the hormones and BPA maybe cause all this. That has been my goal for a while but it's hard sometimes. Glass water is $$

Ginger and tumeric is supposed to be good or kill cancer cells? I don't even know if cysts are cancer. probably are.

Dear Manisha,

A typical dose of blackstrap molasses is 1 Tablespoon per day. With the apple cider vinegar, 1-3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water once or twice a day.

For the pelvic pain I would try castor oil packs. They always work for me, and quickly. I like to use them overnight. You are not supposed to use them during your period, though.

Hey, luckily found this page and I would love to try it but I need to confirm some things. I have follicular cysts of different sizes in both ovaries and I have a thyroid condition also, have 125 mcg thyronome everyday. My gyno told me it's very normal and it's not a tension as if now, I should wait and watch it will go away. This report is 2 months old and now I am having some sort of pain in pelvis and I am freaking out. I am overweight too but I always have my periods regularly except once 4 years back that too for 1 month. Should I try it out? And what amount should I take and at what time? I am 24 yrs old. Please help!

I was diagnosed with a 4 cm cyst on my left ovary that was causing severe pain 6 weeks ago. I immediately started drinking about 200 ml freshly squeezed beet juice mixed with 1 tablespoon aloe vera juice and 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses every morning. After about 1 week of drinking the juice my pain was practically gone. Two weeks later the pain and severe bloating was back. I was very frustrated but continued to have the juice. The pain then went away again. Then, last week during my period (the second period I had since the diagnosis) I noticed that my period was heavier than usual and bits of tissue were coming out.

Today (6 weeks after the diagnosis) I went in for an ultrasound. The cyst is completely gone!!!

I don't know if it will work for that, but I do know that there are so many benefits for ACV that you should do it regardless. It helps with insulin resistance, cysts, dandruff, teeth whitening, and a whole lot more. Even if it doesn't work for your specific cysts, which I fully believe it will, it's worth it for overall health. :)

Activated charcoal might be an option for the bloating/gas.

Hello. I just wanted to share with you guys my experience with this tonic. I put all the ingredients of this mixture together and drank it one night after looking through the forum for kidney stone remedies. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst most violent case of diarrhea and I was feverish and shivering and felt like I emptied the entire contents of my stomach that night. It was the most bizarre thing ever but I remember the pain I felt in my abdominal areas (especially the right where my kidney stone was discovered)was relieved! This was a couple of months ago but it was such an intense experience that I was too frightened to do it again. Now I'm having strange vibrating sounds and pain in my left side going down into my ovary and I'm thinking of doing the same concoction again to see if it could help. I'm extremely bloated, look like I'm pregnant. Theres a feeling of uncomfortable bloated-ness in my stomach and theres these vibrations going down to my left ovary. Does anyone know what this might be??

Dear Aisha,

I don't know how long apple cider vinegar will take to dissolve what remains from the cyst. But many people do use it daily on a long term basis and find it helpful for a multitude of female and other problems.

If you are still having pain, I have found castor oil packs or charcoal poultices to work wonderfully for cyst pain. I use them for a couple of hours or over night. Just do not use a castor oil pack during your period. Charcoal poultices are okay any time.

Good question, I'm not sure if you will get a reply on here, this thread is old. I just came across it because I'm also researching cysts like crazy! I have a 6cm blood-filled cyst on my left ovary. Which could be an endometrioma (aka chocolate cyst), which would be a sign of endometriosis :(( I'm so terrified of that diagnosis. I also want to know if ACV would help a chocolate cyst. My gut feeling is that it wouldn't. Because it's a different type of cyst, that grow on the ovary, or in it, independently of the ovulation follicles. What kind of complex cyst do you have?

I'm thinking its all related. Now the flow has come back with vengeance. I got to head back to the store and get my cider to see if this really works again.

I had many ovarian cysts over a 10 year period. Towards the end of that period they occasionally burst with many hours of excruciating pain. I had tried many things homeopathy and Chinese medicine which helped but did not cure. Then an acquaintance suggested I check out Dr. Jonathan Wrights website and forum on SSKI iodine/ iodide supplement & ovarian cysts. Following his protocol for approximately 6 weeks my orange sized ovary returned to normal size and I have never had an issue since. That was 6 years ago! I also did some hypnotherapy around my ovary issues at that time. Good luck!

Dear Shona,

Is the pain in your pelvis and leg a new symptom since your last ultrasound? I am concerned about this because this type of pain can indicate a torsion of a cyst. When I had a torsion, I did have surgery. You can lose part of the ovary with an untreated torsion.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Blackstrap Molasses are both easy and safe things to try. They have helped many with cysts.

I would also add charcoal poultices over the ovary area overnight 4-5 nights a week. They have helped me with cysts and also help the pain.

How to Make a Charcoal Poultice

Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Cynthia,

Food grade H2O2 works like magic. My wife had very bad ovarian cysts when I first met her. It was so bad that she could not even have a period for over three years. Thankfully, I was an alternative health guy and had her take H2O2 . Drop 4 to 5 drops of H2O2 in an 8 ounce glass of water. The water has to be either distilled or completely purified, or RO water. Otherwise the extra oxygen will unite with the contaminants and you will lose the H2O2. Drink in the morning on empty stomach. Start once or twice a day, then increase to 3 to 4 times. or you can increase the drops from 5 to up to 8 drops. Google food grade hydrogen peroxide 35%. but don't ever use 35% always diluted it to about 3 %. Good luck

Hi Pri,

When reading your statement I can see myself it it. I have been through a surgery to remove an large ovarian cyst in my right ovary 6 years ago and in 2013 I went for an ultrasound and discovered that I have several cysts in my left ovary. I didn't want to go through surgery again and the doctor prescribed me contraceptive pills but I couldn't see any change in my status

I did not do an ultrasound at all in 2014 and now on 2015 I decided to overcome my fear and did a check up and it turns out that now I have only one large cyst of 8cmx7cm and the doctors is telling me to remove it by surgery as it will not shrink. I don't want to go through surgery again, I am scared! I want to try everything possible way to shrink it. Please keep me updated with what happened to your cyst. I started taking Apple Cider Vinegar and molasses but I was not regular. Now I decided to fight this cysts as I would be grateful if some of you can give me hope if you found a large cyst of 8 cm shrink. Thank you

Hi all,

For all those who used apple cider vinegar and black strap molasses to get rid of your cysts - what types of cysts did you have?

I have a complex cyst (not the cancerous type, but it could turn malignant in the far future), around 3 cm that I've had for at least four years. I've heard that functional cysts are much easier to get rid of than complex ones, so not sure if it's even worth trying this or if I should just give up and have surgery as the doctor recomended.

Hi everyone. I wanted to share my experience to date with ovarian cysts in case it is of use to others and as a part of my own healing process. First, thank you for this site - Earth Clinic, and all of you participants. You've been very helpful to me already and I'm grateful.

I'm 48 years old, premenopausal and generally healthy. 6 weeks ago I went to planned parenthood (how I love planned parenthood! ) with a prolonged and unusual period of about 10 days duration, and they did an abdominal and vaginal ultrasound. They found a left sided simple cyst on my ovary and a right sided "complex" cyst of about the same size.

I immediately scoured the internet including this site for home remedies. Here's what I did:
*made a small pretty sign that reads "My body is perfectly healthy" and hung it on my wall to see each day. I encouraged myself to believe it, without being pushy. Practiced this affirmation in spoken form too.

*practiced metta or loving-kindness to myself and others. I sent out intentions for health/happiness/peace/ and safety for all sentient beings multiple times per day. practiced active stress reduction, tried to be quick to let go of anger or other stress inducing emotions. watched only happy movies and tried to minimize my addiction to the news (that was not terribly successful)

* opened my heart and body to receiving all prayer and good intentions from the universe and a few people who volunteered to keep me in their prayers (Of note, I am buddhist and I do metta practice but am not religious. My family is religious and I'm open to it all so long as it has wellbeing as its intention.)

*did guided imagery for healthy pelvis and shrinking ovaries. did this and the above whenever it occurred to me to do.

*received one reiki session from my friend who is a reiki master

*received acupuncture every other week

* abdominal massage at night with sesame oil infused with a few drops of frankincense, clary sage, lavender and rose

*basically launched a liver cleanse for two weeks: twice daily aloe vera juice (2 ounces); daily or at least multiple times weekly teas (dandelion -yum! ; milk thistle); lots of water throughout the day (tall 1/2 liter container infused with 1-2 oz apple cider vinegar/1 oz unsulfured blackstrap molasses/ and warming spices of cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne pepper, ginger)

*changed my diet to counter what I'm guessing is excess estrogen in my system (I was already gluten-free and factory-farm animal products-free): added soy-free, processed food-free, and went near-vegan. went up on greens, apples, rice, yams, garlic, onions, nuts, seeds flax, occasional fish. made a lot of fruit/veg smoothies and had a red juice from the health food store once or twice a week: beets, carrot, ginger, apple.

* avoided: daily, alcohol, caffeine and processed sweeteners. I also avoided xenoestrogens by avoiding plastic containers and makeup/hair products.

* I've been taking evening primrose oil 500mg three times per day, vitex (chaste berry) capsules three times per day, and a multivitamin for women over 40.

*after two weeks on a very limited diet as described (including over thanksgiving - my family was gratefully supportive, but it was tough! ), I added back farm-raised meats and eggs in limited amounts. I also added back occasional glass of wine and a 1/2 cup of morning joe if I needed it.

I followed up with a gynecologist about 2 and 1/2 weeks later who did an pelvic exam and checked my thyroid, both of which were largely unremarkable. He suggested that we followup in a month with a repeat ultrasound to see if they were shrinking on their own. That sounded great to me since I was eager to see if my comprehensive self-care program was working at all.

I have to say, that even though this may seem over the top and way too radical for many, I am enjoying these changes very much. I work from home and have no children so I have the leisure of being able to apply a fair amount of time and energy toward these practices, but honestly I think anyone could do these things fairly easily.

Today I had a follow-up ultrasound (6 weeks since the first one). The tech shared with me that my right "complex" cyst is now down to a small (1.5cm) simple cyst. So that one is going in the right direction and my fears about something more serious are abating. My left sided cyst is about the same size and remains "simple" in appearance.

I am taking this as nice progress! I haven't spoke to my doctor yet but hope to be in a watch and wait mode. I plan to keep up my new diet and regimen. I may add in castor oil packs, and will continue with reiki and acupuncture and metta.

I also may investigate iodine deficiency as I use sea salt on my food which is non iodized and I don't know if I am deficient or not.

I realize that it could be that my right one was hemorraghic and the cysts ruptured (I haven't had any pain though) and that's why that one is better; it could be that none of these practices have and any bearing on the resolving right cyst. I realize that. But I choose to believe that the little things we do matter a great deal to our bodies and that we have more power regarding our wellbeing than we are led to believe.

Thanks for your support on this forum and best wishes for health and happiness to you all!! Please send any comments or ideas my way if you care too. Happy New Year! May it feel very new. Hang in there!

Hello Everyone - Posting an article from UK - if it helps - please post your results with exact steps - it does seem that Apple Cider Vinegar (2sp) + Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses (UBSM) (1 sp) cured Fibroids and Ovarian cysts in 3 months

---

Testimony 1 from the link

  • Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and Blackstrap Molasses worked, along with castor oil rubbed on my belly each night after a warm shower.
  • 2 tbsp ACV mixed with 2tbsp BSM. It doesn't taste all that wonderful but you get used to it. Some people like it. Some people can't handle them together and have them separately which is fine too. Some people get bloated when they have them together. I did a few times but it got better. I did this routine religiously for a few months... can't remember exactly how long and then I eased off it. I didn't even have it every day. I would have the full doses about a week before my periods would start (I'd be reminded because I used to get cramps), and continued for the duration of my period.
  • Some months later my period became more regular. At first I bleeded heavy for three days, even clotted but apparently, it was just the fibroids breaking down. After the three days, my period would stop which surprised me. After a few more months my period was regular as clock work, light and completely painless... apart from the odd slight discomfort to remind me it was there, I was doing great.
  • After six months of begging this routine, I did another ultrasound and my fibroid and cysts were gone from both ovaries. Actually one of my ovaries had shrunk so small they couldn't even find it... which was a first lol.

The ACV broke down my fiber completely and the BMS stopped the bleeding and replenished a lot of nutrients I lost. It also got rid of a few cysts as well as the fibroids. The castor oil will aide with circulation, breaking down the fibroids and removing the toxins by supporting the liver. It's also anti-inflammatory.

Also read up on xenoestrogens and try and cut them out of your life as much as you can. Eat foods that block estrogen production such as pears, apples, berries, melons etc. Avoid estrogen producing foods such as dairy, caffeine and alcohol. You can search there net for more foods to have and avoid.

Eat more greens... they're also anti estrogens plus they're high in iron. If you're not a vegan/vegetarian, whenever you eat red meat, have some greens with a bit of lemon juice. It's been found that heme iron (from meat sources) help the absorption of non-heme iron and the vitamin c from the lemon juice will help it along even more.

I also took magnesium (chelated magnesium) and potassium, both from supplements and from food. If you crave chocolate, try switching to cocoa nibs which are one of the richest and yummiest sources of magnesium... and other important minerals.

I used to suffer with endometriosis, fibroids, cysts and adhesions. My periods used to be irregular and heavy for about eight days and I was severely anemic.

Hope this helps someone, cheers

Testimony 2

Lady used ACV and black strap molasses for almost three months and got results. I mixed two tablespoons of ACV and a tablespoon molasses in a quarter glass of warm water. I took that every morning before breakfast and every evening before bed. I did not take any milk during that period. In less that three months my cyst was gone.

If this helps, please post exact your problem and exact steps you used to cure ...

Good Luck! Pepsi

Dear Resh,

It seems that Blackstrap Molasses is helpful for many with cysts. For me, it is something I would want to try.

You might also want to try charcoal poultices over the ovary with the cyst at night. Here is a link to a story about a woman who use charcoal therapy for a cyst and endometriosis. Castor oil packs may also be a good option. I have used both for many things and always find them helpful. (Castor oil packs should not be used during menses, however.)

(The story is about half way down the page of the link above.)

If you decide to try castor oil or charcoal, I can share some more links with more information about how to use them.

Hello All,

I have been reading the posts and it has been very encouraging, Thank You All :). My heart goes out to all of you suffering from all the pain and you are in my prayers. I am a 38 year old female with a 4 year old daughter, trying to get pregnant. I had a blighted ovum (placenta but no developed egg) 6 months back and d&c was performed. 3 months back my gynaec found a 4 cm cyst on my right ovary and thinks that it might be endometriomas. He is not completely sure if it is and wants to wait and see if the cyst goes away by itself. I always had regular 28 days cycle with very little pain and 3-4 days of bleeding without any clots before the cyst. Since the cyst my last 4 cycles have been 22 days and I did have a considerable pain during 2 out of the last 4 cycles. My naturopath prescribed a tincture of Vitex, Wild Yam and Raspberry which she thinks will help with the cyst and also help me to pregnant. Since I started taking the tincture my last cycle was 25 days but my cyst is still the same size. I am planning to take Shatavari as its highly recommended and have started the apple cider vinegar with black strap molasses once day. One question I have is does the sugar from the molasses flare up the cyst. I would really appreciate if anyone could recommend what would be a good course of action to get rid of the possible endometrioma

A very big thanks to all women who posted their story and to earth clinic for this wonderful site. Mama to Many I will always ask God to bless you.

The last time I asked a question was in March 2014 when I was almost due for delivery but the ovarian cyst was 16cm and my gyn was bent on surgery. I continued taking apple cider, beet root and molasses. Later, she asked me to go for MRI, surprisingly, nothing was found. My son was successfully delivered vaginally in April.

Today, I am completely free from ovarian cyst and my 3rd baby on the way (16 weeks). I give all glory to God.

Essential Oils

Dear Bluesky777,

I would not rule out that Vetiver would be helpful for cysts, but I have not found any research to support its use for cysts.

Heritage Essential Oils sells a blend for ovarian cysts that contains frankincense, geranium and cypress. So, geranium and cypress might be worth a try.

However, my first choice would be frankincense since I have seen it work first hand in my family for cysts. I had an ovarian cyst that felt like an egg. (I could feel it from the outside! ) I used frankincense and castor oil on it and by the time I went for an ultrasound a couple of weeks later, that cysts was dramatically reduced.

So, castor oil alone may be an effective and inexpensive treatment for ovarian cysts. (Since Frankincense is more expensive and not as easy to find as castor oil.) I put it on a cloth over the ovary area, covered it with plastic wrap and then put a heating pad over that area over my bedclothes and slept that way for several hours each night. (Heating pad needs to be on the lowest setting.) Castor oil should not be used during menstruation, though. I was using frankincense on the area each morning. So, I can't say for sure which contributed more to healing.

Hi, Momma to Many mentioned Frankincense oil can help treat an ovarian cyst. Can you recommend any other excellent essential oils to try? I was reading about Vetiver essential oil, do you think that would help?

Thanks

Beets, Carrots, Non-Alcoholic Wine, Molasses
Posted by Stav (Israel) on 11/24/2014

Could someone please write the exact amount for this and the exact recipe? (How to prepare ? How much in weight of beets, carrots, molasses and wine. What kind of non alcoholic wine should it be? Red wine or white wine?)

The non-alcoholic wine here is just made of grape juice and I'm not sure if that is suitable.

Thank you so much

There is information about a Carribean remedy for dissolving cysts on the internet.

It uses organic carrots, organic beets, and organic molasses. Cooked somehow.

Try to find it on the internet.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. Can you tell us in what concentrations and how often you took the BSM, ACV and Iodine? Did you take them together? It's been over two years since your post. How are you feeling now? Has your endometrial hyperplasia atypia complex returned?

Heat Application
Posted by Shrink Big Cyst (Constitution, Oregon, Usa) on 10/07/2014
★★★★☆

Greetings. My suggestion for instant relief of almost any pain, but especially a big cyst, is to apply HEAT! From any source. My choice is to wear a hot water bottle; I underestimated the healing benefits until I relapsed into 2 out of 10 health for the last week. My genius husband thought to use a back brace to leave me hands free. A large purse could probably work well. Now, I strap it on two or three times a day. I can also lay on my stomach with the hot water bottle on my spot; I can lay on my stomach for the first time in eighteen months! I apply castor oil on my belly, wrap the bottle in a towel, and have faith that the oil helps pull out toxins.

My question is when the cyst bursts or tears, other than the pain, is a relief of breathing felt? When my three babies were born the water leaking was instant relief. I currently feel in the last month of pregnancy, like I am carrying a 6 pound baby; I felt worse in the last 18 months, like sometimes I am carrying our 10 pound son. Do women experience heavy periods with clots or does the cyst dissolve slowly into bowel movements?

I look forward to reading more posts about the science and the process of healing, especially I want to know about maintaining cyst-free. I thought different times in the last 9 months since the removal of my IUD that I was cyst free. I juice fasted for a total of more than 70 days, in 7-10 day periods and felt relief. I am proactive with a 80% raw and 100% vegan diet. I supplement with herbs, warm teas, and iodine. Does anyone have experience with deep tissue massage, could I penetrate the cyst and poop it myself? I hope... What about acupuncture, acupressure? Thanks for your time and consideration.

ACV to combat the nasty taste you can use lemon and cinnamon and make it like a tea and drink. Or you can add to 1/4 cup of water plug your nose and shoot it, like a shot make sure to have something yummy before you let your nose go... I use pineapple rinse well you don't want it sitting on your teeth. Good Luck

Hi! I had a large ovarian cyst which had calcified on my ovary, and the Gynecologist wanted to operate on it. So I made my own 3 percent Hydrogen peroxide by using distilled water ONLY!! By putting 1 percent Food grade Hydrogen peroxide to eleven percent distilled water, which makes it three percent. I then put 3 drops, 3 times a day into an eight ounce glass of 'Distilled' water three times a day and drank it. Two or 3 weeks later when I had to return for a final pre op scan to their amazement it was gone!!

Along with some other problem they picked up from the first scan but never told me what it was.

I would drink it through a straw next time though. Because it made my teeth sensitive for a while, but now they're OK.

Love Andrea C xxx

Cynthia & Joe and anyone else who found their cyst size increased after taking blackstrap molasses (BSM) & ACV, would you kindly share if by any chance you have a concurrent thyroid problem such as low or high thyroid. Also if you are taking any meds and eating too many cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage etc?
I am asking this b'coz female with ovarian cysts often have thyroid problems too. That is the basic reason behind molasses working for ovarian cysts. Beside iron and many minerals, BSM is rich in naturally occurring iodine. Many studies today has proven that ovarian epithelium has receptors for thyroid hormone and ovarian stroma is richest organ in iodine second only to thyroid. That is why in case of iodine deficiency not just thyroid but ovaries are also effected resulting in multiple cysts.
Here are few facts about relationship between thyroid, ovaries & iodine:

Iodine is concentrated at high levels in the ovaries via the NIS symporter.

Iodine deficiency is strongly correlated with ovarian cysts and may also be related to ovarian
cancer.

  • Flechas states that the greater the iodine deficiency, the more ovarian cysts a woman produces, resulting in the extreme form known as polycystic ovarian disease.
  • Howenstine asserts that Iodine therapy can reduce or eliminate ovarian cysts.
  • Slebodzinski states that iodine concentration in the ovary is higher than in every other organs except the thyroid. The ovarian iodide uptake varies with sexual activities, is enhanced by estrogens and a hypothyroid state and blocked by goitrogens.
  • Escobar investigated the effect of various levels of iodine intake on thyroid hormones in different tissues in the rat. They discovered that, under conditions of iodine deficiency, the concentration of T3 in the ovary was much higher than in the blood or most other tissues.

For someone with medical background or just a curious mind who wants to know more, plz explore these few links:

and http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3355884/

I am a researcher myself and would like to know from any of you ladies if you have been diagnosed or have symptoms of any thyroid problems (hypo or hyperthyroidism etc).

What Julie from Wharton NJ is experiencing is because of iron and Magnesium (Mg) content of blackstrap molasses. Every individual has different dose that would work for them & whenever in little excess, it will cause gargling sounds and lose bowel movements with or without mild cramps. This is because Mg increases gut motility and that's why its used as a treatment for constipation (Milk of Magnesia).
Just cutting down on dose a little will solve this issue as rightfully advised by someone here before.

Sonia: I bought some BSM tablets for the convenience, but I think these tabs are a combination of BSM & Iron, probably for people w/ low Iron issues only.

Try and find the "ingredient listing" and see if there is added iron as it's not good to have too much of this mineral.

Dear Sonia,

I checked on Amazon and saw Blackstrap molasses tablets, by Swanson. It looks like people have found them helpful for anemia. I checked the label on the tablets and they add iron to them. It is possible that is why they are helping anemia. Since blackstrap molasses has many nutrients and I am not sure which one (perhaps it is a combination) is so helpful for female issues, I would hesitate to say they will work as well. It seems unlikely that

you would get nearly as much of the many nutrients out of a tablet as you would out of a tablespoon of blackstrap. I certainly appreciate that they would be easier to take. Blackstrap isn't my favorite thing to take. The best way, I think is to put it into some milk.

Also, since they have added iron, it wouldn't be safe to take many of them a day to get more blackstrap into your daily diet.

I also have ovarian cysts on both ovaries. I have been getting Accupunture treatments and they have been quite helpful. I also started recently ACV. I take them in tablets. After reading all the comments, I checked Amazon for blackstrap molasses, they have them in tablets also. Would the tablets be equally helpful?

Thanks

MargyG: There is one word that describes the super hero who comes to everybody's rescue during dire circumstances saponins. 70% of the body is water. The best nutrient of all would be the one that makes water better. Saponins make water better. Saponins clean every system, carry more nutrients into the cells, and contain steroidal hormones for the adrenals. A 70 year old Christian who loves God is a master herbalist. He lives with his lovely wife of fifty years on a ranch in Arizona. He takes jiaogulan, a herb that has 100 saponins. Chinese centenarians take jiaogulan. American centenarians eat beans, the food highest in saponins. Red Korean ginseng has thirty four saponins. Yucca liquid is highest in saponins. Eat raw organic and grass fed whole foods and take saponins.

Dermoid Ovarian Cyst Remedies

Hi,

Am trying to find a cure for a Dermoid Ovarian cyst as most of the posts refer to the fluid filled Ovarian Cysts that have symptoms and are painful. I have no symptoms or pain. I have just been diagnosed by ultra sound with a 10x6x4cm cyst that would have been growing for many years.

For the past 20 years (from one week after I stopped breastfeeding my youngest after being continuously pregnant and breastfeeding for 8 years straight) my body has shown signs of hormone imbalance but all the blood tests come back normal or opposite to what they expect. I was very physically fit at the time and always went back to 52Kg after each birth.

Within one week after stopping breastfeeding, I began putting on weight (30Kg in 28 weeks) as well as many other hormonal changes including height growth. Exercise or anything that increased my metabolic rate increased the weight and increased the rate at which my body and its functions deteriorated.

22 years later, the hormonal imbalance result has been detected by the finding of the dermoid ovarian cyst in my left ovary. The recent blood tests still show normal range for hormones and no cancer indicators.

Ovarian cyst cures are mentioned online with a great success rate but are mainly referring to the fluid filled cysts that can come and go.

I would like to find out if the same treatment for the fluid filled ovarian cysts would eradicate the dermoid cyst which usually consists of hard tissue. If not, what would dissolve the dermoid cyst. Trying not to have left ovary surgically removed and researching so that I do not activate the growth of the cyst.

Would then be able to use some of the remedies to put my body into an alkaline state to prevent future cysts occurring and for good health and hormone balance.

Two weeks ago began taking borax (5ml of a borax solution - 6g borax/L) each night. Skin sores that have not healed for months are now healing.

Hoping for some advise and cure.

Dear Ugobekee,

Hi there! You have been dealing with this your whole pregnancy, I believe? (I couldn't find your other posts, but I think we have talked about this.) I am wondering if you have tried anything regularly to try and reduce the cyst?

Do you have the option to get a second opinion and/or see a midwife? Usually midwives tend to be more willing to help mothers have vaginal births, even when they have certain health risks. (With my second child, I had a doctor who wanted to schedule a c-section, but I was able to safely deliver at home with a skilled midwife.)

If you end up having a c-section, I am wondering if it would make sense to go ahead and have the cyst removed, if that is what they are thinking. It might be easier to do that than trying to reduce a cyst while trying to enjoy and breastfeed your newborn. Just a thought.

I prefer natural cure. Pls, what will I do to make sure that I have vaginal child birth and to shrink the cyst permanently?
