I appreciate your post! It was for the benefit of people like me whose stomach cannot tolerate ACV. I'll put it put it in my pocket for possible use later, remembering your idea of adding a bit of baking soda so it will be gentle on the stomach. Currently, even a very small amount of ACV or lime or lemon with baking soda (1/4 tsp, or maybe less...dont remember) in water makes my Urine Too Alkaline. If someone knows why this happens and what to do about it I'd appreciate the info. Meantime, what I started doing when I'm able is to put diluted ACV on the skin so it can be absorbed that way. After it dries I apply peanut oil to keep ACV from drying the skin. Peanut oil, recomended by Edgar Cayce is the gentlest nicest oil that I have tried for sensitive skin. Also, when I have time, I will Try even a tiny-er amount ACV with a tiny pinch of baking soda... or move on to Other Solutions

I love, love, love this post by James Pemberton. I would note, however, to some readers who find ACV hurts their stomach: As James is probably a big muscled guy, going by his occupation, I would ask the ladies to take that into consideration before going whole hog with his 2-TAB recommendation; perhaps start with 1 tsp or 1 tablespoon. I always add a pinch of baking soda in a small cup first to get rid of the acid -- better for MY stomach and my throat before downing it. I chase it with a glass of water. My Granny always told me to drink a cold glass of water every morning with either a tablespoon of lemon juice or ACV for good health -- warm water for the winter months. Typical teenager, I ignored her! Now, I reap the benefits from this old wives/granny tale but unlike Mr. Pemberton, as a short woman, I keep my dosage to 1 tablespoon with that pinch of BSoda once in the morning and sometimes before bed. The same solution works for coughs. ACV rocks but only if you can tolerate it -- if you can't, don't beat a dead horse, move on... as my granny was fond of saying.

So sorry these problems are happening with your skin. I can surely relate! Took me a lot of years to digest that what works for others may not work for me. For example, the only way ACV works for me w/o causing stomach upsets is to first add a pinch of baking soda to dilute the acid. I can't tolerate it with honey as it raises my blood sugar.

I met a lady with simply beautiful skin who said she once had horrible skin full of acne scars and pits. What worked for her was cleansing it daily with 1/2 diluted, non-flavored, antiseptic mouthwash, rinsing it off after a 2-3 minutes and applying a very minute amount of petroleum jelly over her wet skin. I tried this and it works -- within 3 months, my acne scars and dark marks had disappeared, leaving my skin soft and beautiful as well.

Could be the salicylate acid content and the antiseptic removing dead skin and deep rubble. It's cheap. Mouth wash is $1.00 at the D-Store and petroleum jelly can last up to 6 months as long as you use a swab-stick and not your dirty fingers. (Word is spreading -I recently saw this method YT-trending with young adults but with different moisturizers). Just please, don't give up! Keep researching, plus meditating/praying -- speak the words; let the universe know what you require.

Just remember, discard what (over a week) does not work or hurts you -- don't beat a dead horse... or any horse for that matter....

Just make sure you're using pink salt and water and toothpaste that has no fluoride. Fluoride is poison. Pink salt has all minerals your body needs.

ORH here, and this is about my lake neighbor of 30 years that runs our ridges 3 or 4 times a week. He is an engineer at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant and a shy, but good guy. He is 67, and thin as a rail. We have offered them garden veggies numerous times, but he always says that he only eats meat and potatoes. I told him he was a paradox because he works so hard to stay healthy and I would expect him to only eat organic. My Tractor Driver met his wife at our mailbox yesterday and ask about John because we have not seen him for months. She said he had a stroke in October and is just now getting out of the house. We saw him today for the first time doing his jogging thing. John is slightly wild and strange because all dogs will bite him and he has to run with an electric cattle prod to keep dogs from biting him. If you are frightened of dogs you put off a smell from three places....... under arm pits, palms, and soles of your feet. This is not sweat, it is due to emotions and all animals can sense this and it makes them nervous and they will bite you. John has been bitten many times as a result. John, is in deep sheet because plaque due to his diet has him plugged up...... running or no running. My wife explained that EDTA Chelation will clean all this plaque out within 3 months. I can promise you that John will not participate. I am 84 and he is 67 and I will out live him. You are what you eat. I testify before many, but no one listens. They think I am a nut. New subject............. my left knee is now giving me pain. Let me tell you what I am going to do. I am going to shoot up my left knee with Ozone myself. I have had others save my right knee. Now I am going to save my left knee myself. If I fail, you will know. because I tell True Stories. Hips are also bad, but smart enough to not mess with my spine. I used to take ACV and get very constipated too. I read that this happens to some people and the remedy is to add about 1/4 tsp of baking soda to the acv. This helped me but I get dizzy also so I stopped. I preferred the taste without the baking soda.

ANTI-AGING TEST RESULTS

HI U GOD FEARING FOLKS DOIN,,,,,,,,,, I worked hard all my life and accumulated a little jack and now spending it on health things. This test showed some good results and some not so good. The not so good were due to me not addressing the situation. The one's I addressed were right on the money and I want to share those with you so you do not have to spend any money on an Anti-aging doctor. So here goes.

My RBC Mg was 5.5 within the range 4.0-6.4. She gave me pat on the back for that test. So what did I do to get that number. Got back problems, so I spray my hands every morning with MgCl and wipe it on my fanny and lower back. Then I follow that up with DMSO to drive it into my hips. That's all I do. The cost is not a deal.

The next is a no brainer and that is Vit D3.

We take 21,000 iu's every morning and my test was 78 with a range of 20 -100. D3 is cheap, but you must buy quality. Do not use D-2 as that is synthetic and made by Big Pharma.

My Cardiovascular tests were out of the ball park and what do I do for that? Well, we eat lots of green veggies and little processed food, but we do what is the mantra of all who read EC and that is ACV. My HDL was 63 and LDL 103 with a 78 for Triglycerides. That ain't too bad for an 80 year old Redneck. I won't go into my deficiencies as I did not address them due to my back and AFIB. Hope this epistle has saved you some time and money.

We headed to the farm this weekend to plant muscadines, blackberries and blueberry plants that have bit the dust due to the cold snaps.

I have totally run out of spit.

I am witnessing friends tailspin into madness from the never-ending negativity and nastiness in the news and on Facebook. No one is holding back anymore. One of my friends has gone off the deep end succumbing to fear. I got into a taxi yesterday and the taxi driver spewed nonstop about everything that is wrong with this country the whole ride. He wouldn't stop. No one has any sense of what's appropriate any more.

We need to focus on acts of kindness, joy and prayer to counteract the craziness taking over the country. Thank you for this.

Valentine's Day says, Remember to show love. You know, do something that shows you really care. Remember to be thoughtful. Check and see if someone is okay, let someone know you are okay. Your thoughtfulness will give someone a smile.

For those of us who have family, friends, a marriage etc. we really should not be waiting on a special day to express love and appreciation. Often we get so wrapped up in ourselves and own problems we don't even call and see how others are doing, or perhaps our work calls for most of our time. As the song says we need to, "Stop, look, listen to our heart hear what it's saying".

Our thoughtfulness may give someone laughter, healing, a smile, an appetite and perhaps bring them out of gloom. It may give an elderly person incentive to live on a while longer.

Thanx for the book tip, will check it out. Been very down lately and got the miracle treatment needed for a long time, so am anticipating slowly coming back into the light of better health once again (snatching victory from the jaws of death). HI U Timh,,,,,,,,, in a state park in Fla with no TV, no internet, so we read and do our health things.

When we come here when the weather is warm…. then sunning on the beach consumes our time. Not so when it's too cool for that. Now we read old health books from yesteryear. One that we talked about years ago and that is the Russian Author, Mikhail Tombak, who wrote CAN WE LIVE 150 YEARS. He has written many, but that is the Bible as far as I'm concerned. He's the guy who advocates Spanish black radish and I was going to send you some but my crop failed. Know you could write a book your-self, but I suggest you get this one and read it at least 3 times.

This book gives you directions to clean up outside and inside. He says “ eat right and you will live 10 years longer……. but breath right and you will live 20 years longer”. He's big on keeping your spine aligned. I read this book some 10+ years ago but forgot his teachings.

For instance ……. the importance of food combining. He tells you why because protein, fat, carbohydrates all digest at a different rate. You have to factor that in and why. He tells you why you must chew your food some 30 times. That is hard because you keep wanting to swallow. He tells you why you do that for your health.One of our health toys you will recognize because you use it constantly. That is the Parasite Zapper. We are doing that in conjunction with Bob Beck's Blood Purifier. Both work off low DC current. I also brought my PDMF to address my lumbar pains. We do our bed PT on waking and and then swap massages followed with our hand vibrator. This has given me the courage to re-dedicate my health efforts.

Lately, I have fallen off the wagon. We are a boggie couple as you will see in the video that our daughter recently took. Won't get us first place in a Myrtle Beach Shag Contest, but will let us participate. Our goal is to do this boogie at age 90, ten years from now. I am willing to bet a yearly income that that was a medical person responding to that flaxseed cure. You use the oils, I use the seeds, organic i might add, then i grind them up and add them to all kinds of foods. It is healthy for the body to have 3 bowel movements every day. I struggled with that for years. Not any more. A few tablespoons in my cottage cheese and waalaa. It's poopy time. Lol not just like that, but it will work it's way to let you know, hey: it's time. It is not a right now kind of thing. Sometimes it's all day before i sit down to go. This is another of the best ways to remove those bad things left in the body. Also, eat as organically as you can. It cost a bit more, but your life is priceless. You are worth all the effort. Trust me.

ACV has had the most profound effect on me. Although classified as a superfood, and or as a digestive enzyme medically the results have been astonishing. The older generation would talk about this ACV, and my grandmother- GOD BLESS her- recommended my mother to take it for her weight issues. I just remember being reminded that sometimes the older generation knows what's best. I started to take ACV looking for a newer path of natural foods and alternative *Cures* for helping my body heal from PTSD, and a brain injury from years past. It takes the body years upon years to heal from such events, and like most older people, I am 45 and looking for youth to never go away. Recommending this generation of young people to take care of their bodies is easier now than in the past, because the internet is supplying an endless amount of information, whether good or bad, society is getting the message. Though youth will always be for the young, I won't stop looking for my physical being to heal. ACV however you classify it is smart and practical. Effects though being limited I have noticed better memory, more energy, better skin tone, and my hair and nails are growing faster. Started taking it 4 weeks ago, and I'm hooked!!

You can try taking it with freshly juiced apples or organic apple juice. One way I absolutely love to drink it is like a tea. I heat up the water until it is hot, not too hot, but hot enough to drink comfortably without burning myself. Then I add 2 tbsp ACV, 1 heaping tbsp of raw honey, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and a half squeezed lemon. It tastes really good, at least I think so, and I really enjoy it.

I have tried ACV periodically, but the problem for me with a lot of natural health protocols is that I am actually really healthy. No allergies, no physical ailments, no weight problems. Sometimes I have a bout of moderate depression, but I think our society tends to promote the notion that we should be happy all the time, and I am at peace with my periods of melancholy--they have never interfered with my functioning and I embrace them and try to take advantage of the healing that comes from crying (tears actually have a different chemical make-up than other watery excretions, so you really are detoxing when you cry). It may well be that my willingness to accept my depression helps me heal faster, as I have noticed that when I fight anything, it becomes a bigger deal than it should be! So, in short, I have no real health issues, which means I never really know if something is or isn't working for me. I LOVE natural health, and I try things out all the time, but I never really feel better or worse--I generally feel good most of the time. So, I'm glad for that. It's quite lucky, as others in my family have to work hard to take care of themselves and suffer from inexplicable ailments that are often debilitating.

My younger brother is dealing with some severe kidney problems, and my sister struggles with allergies and thyroid issues. It's very sad, and I am grateful I've been given a lucky break (because I do not think it has anything to do with my own choices or lifestyle).

Anyway, long story short...ACV. I know it's got to be an amazing natural health supplement because my great-aunt just turned 101 and is still fully functioning. She'll be 102 in January. She drives, lives alone, chats on the phone when you call to say hello, STILL sends me and all of my cousins, aunts, and uncles a card every Christmas with 25 dollars, and even brings in some income from a small farm she lets out. The woman is sharp. People always ask her how she has managed to live so long and stay so healthy, and she attributes it unequivocally to Apple Cider Vinegar. She sips on it throughout the day in a glass of water. I don't know if she uses a straw, as I have heard it can deteriorate enamel (though she still has her own teeth! ). I am getting back into the habit of taking it daily--not because I need any remedy right now, but because I want to live to be 101! Or older! I should add that she didn't marry until her 40s, to a very gentle, sweet man who himself lived a full life until he died in his mid 90s. As a couple, they lived a simple life of gratitude and service, and I have never seen either of them rattled or less than fully present with whomever they were around. The stressors of day-to-day life that seem to affect all of us just didn't seem to bother them. Also, they had no children (! ) I personally feel this has to be part of the magic formula for her, but like I said, the apple cider vinegar is what has given her this extraordinary longevity, according to her. I thought I would share, in case, like myself, you don't really *need* any kind of cure right now but would like to continue living a high-quality life into your old age.

No offense, but 26 means NOTHING. I'm 30 and I wasted most of my 20's as a heavy smoker and drinker, and I still get carded. Plain old genetics can keep people looking young for quite a while! My great-great-grandmother is still alive.

Sure, I'd like to undo the damage I've done, that's why I'm here, but I wouldn't dream of being so naive as to assume I have the key for "how to stay young"! As far as I can tell, it's "drink far too much and smoke a pack a day while attending metal shows all night"...and I strongly suspect that this is not correct!

Some people also complain that coconut oil is drying for their skin, though I don't find that to be so for mine. We're each so individual. You may want to use a different moisturizer ~ grapeseed oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, calendula oil, etc.

I've added your under-neck-skin-tightening exercise to my "5 Tibetan Rites" that I do every morning and I'm seeing even better and greater tightening of my now older, turkey-neck skin acquired after losing 40+ lbs. Your solution of opening the mouth wide then slowly closing it does contract the muscles in the lower jaw and neck area. I've been doing this during the 3rd Tibetan Rite for the past 3 weeks. Result? Today, as my husband sat across the table from me he remarked upon how thin, tiny, and tight my neck and face has become -- elfin he said! Julienne: Wow! So sorry I am just seeing your post. I truly think that Apple Cider Vinegar may be too strong for your face; some solutions may not suit everyone's body. You may also have an allergy to Virgin Coconut Oil --we must test these products overnight in our elbow pit before using them (an age-old mother's recommendation I, a pimple- bespeckled teenager, ignored to my own facial detriment! ) For your acne scars, investigate food grade diatomaceous earth. I have a family member in the same boat as you and finds Apple Cider Vinegar and Virgin Coconut Oil very drying to their skin and created more problems than they helped! DE corrected their problems. But they started slowly, taking 1/2 tsp with LOTS of water. I hope you found a solution for this skin problem. Blessings!

I agree with Molly.

Without salt our electrical system can't operate properly. Refined salt is a poison. Key word refined.

True sea salt, think pink or celtic, is good for us. The mineral profile of sea salt is the same as the body. I believe the celtic is best because it has more minerals, but pink or Himalayan is also good.

Without trace minerals we get the "munchies" because the body is saying I need nutrition. Without salt we die. Without cholesterol we get Alzheimer's.

Half truths can kill us.

I think your reaction is caused by a nutrient deficit. Salt is a needed ingredient in the diet. Even animals have "salt licks". Celtic Sea Salt is the best salt, in my opinion.

I have question for my face: I am using Eden apple cider vinegar organic for my acne on the forehead and after 12-13 days it dried up and left me with many scars. I never had acne in my life like this. It was only when I drank barley juice to cure or remove belly fats and make my body healthy again. But the healing crisis I got was acne.

I stopped drinking barley juice after weeks that my acne did not clear yet. I stopped ACV after my acne dried up and after weeks started it again for pH balance and make my skin glowing even. I do not have pimples. It's been 22 days since I used ACV toner but my cheeks dried up too, wrinkles showed more under my eyes and some rashes. I see that my cheeks are becoming scaly that I see mild peeling all over. My uneven skin tone on my chin is still here and my over all appearance seems like I become ugly. Acne scars are still on my forehead, dry skin is still here. I feel like ACV is not for me. I used 50/50 mixture then removed 1/4 of the mixture and poured more water. I used coconut oil (organic) as soon as the toner dries up. I have combination and my skin is a little sensitive I guess because maybe of age (I am 37 now). I feel terrible with my skin on my face. I read some people that in 1-2 weeks their skin is nice and near to flawless with ACV toner. But I think ACV toner is not for me.

I also started yesterday to drink 2 tbsp ACV in a glass of water and I felt like I am going to be sick after an hour or several hours while I am in the office. I feel mild heat inside. In the evening before I sleep I drank again 2 tbsp with water and after 15-30 minutes or less I went to bathroom. I couldn't sleep after that until 3am. I was wide awake. I drank again the next morning, I went to restroom 3 times with intervals. But I still feel the mild heat inside me. I was again not feeling well in the office but it was gone after some time too. Maybe because of the toxins coming out of my body. I am not sure if it's the ACV working inside. Tonight I will be taking again. Please tell me if anyone of you have the same experience. I want to continue this externally and internally but I am getting bad experiences. Should I continue using the ACV toner even I don't have acne? I just want to use it to prevent zits, to lessen large pores, balance my pH, etc.

How do you cook your food without the salt? Are you cooking less salt or totally no salt? I want to start that too but the first time I cooked without salt, when I starved and while preparing to reheat the food I cooked (without salt), my whole body was shaking. I never felt anything like this before whenever I get hungry. Is it because of my body's reaction to no salt food?

I'm reading all your varying ideas for looking and feeling young! I'm 62 and have been told I look in my early 40s. As people have said there isn't an easy option it does take concentration and care.

I have recently discovered acupressure which along with losing weight with Paul Mckenna has changed my health and body shape wonderfully. There are massages to help thyroidal problems and facial looseness. I use organic and essential oils for body and facial moisturisation and for oil pulling (which I first found left me thirsty so I now drink a good glass of filtered water before doing it in the morning).

Also, I think this is most important, I follow my blood type way of eating by Dr Peter D'Adamo. It's fascinating because it gives answers to different people's experiences with varying foods. E. G. if you're an O type you should eat red meat (not pork no one should eat pork) and tomatoes give me, I'm an A type, eczema but they're good for O types.

The blood type shows why a lot of people are NOT good with ACV or rhodiola (which is brilliant for O's though). I could go on but suffice to say it can cure a lot problems like arthritis etc. I'm not on any medication but I take some herbal supplements. I have no health problems.
