Bladder Infections
Posted by Rachel (Aztec, NM) on 01/11/2007
★★★★☆WORKED TEMPORARILY
I got a UTI about a week ago. Slugged down 2 teaspoons of sea salt in 8oz water. Gosh, that was rough! I felt no more pain in my bladder, but had been drinking cranberry juice all morning. I was symptom free for about a week. It came back today, I drank only 1 teasp sea salt this time, and it didn't touch the pain. It cleaned out my bowels, which helped with the overall bloated feeling I also suffered. Now I'm trying Apple Cider vinegar. It's helped with the pain, although not completely. And it tastes way way better :D
Boils

Husband got what looked like a pimple on his neck. By the next night it had gotten worrisome big. Went to your web site and found the sea salt cure. We dampened a wash cloth, poured some sea salt on it, and he held it on the boil for twenty minutes. It went down in just twenty minutes!
We then taped a cotton ball soaked in castor oil and dipped in the salt for three nights, and the thing is gone. Thank you so much Carol Ann

If you check our pet testimonials On our watercure2.org site and read the home page story of how this was discovered, you will see that curing pet arthritis is not even a challenge. Just add unprocessed sea salt to its food and water and within 24 hours a pet will stand up and walk with a limp even though previously it had been unable to stand. Best of all it is free. Bob Butts

High Blood Pressure, Anxiety

I am suffering from many things at once. such as lower tract infections and thrush and shingles all at once/ Part of which is due to the many antibiotics I was prescribed for the bladder and lower GI track.
One of the effects of shingles is it produces much anxiety because your muscles start to spasm and the spasms and pain mimic some very serious conditions. This is the third bout with shingles.
The panic attacks were so serious the paramedics had to come out twice and one time to the hospital in the ambulance because my blood pressure soared up to dangerous levels. Well to get to the point...
Out of desperation today because now I developed a sore in throat that feel like something is stuck in there and it is swollen red and yucky.. It was too sore to gargle. I had to pace the house for an hour to prevent a panic attack because I felt like my throat was closing up (this is side effect of thrush), When I calmed down an intuitive sense told me to just sip on water and salt
. I only had sea salt at home put a very small amount about 1/16 tsp to 8 oz size purified water and sipped it over an hour. Then I got worried (no anxiety attack) I hurt myself because my mouth felt like it was drying up (my mouth might be responding to the thrush). Went got another glass of water and drink that plain. Gradually the puckered dry feeling went away.
But the amazing thing is that the salt must have been absorbed through my mouth because I could taste salt water coming from my nose trickling down my throat. It felt very good and soothing. I went to the computer to research what damage sea salt can do to you and I got a confirmation rather than an antidote for toxins. I am waiting to see what improves next. Next time I am going to reach for the S A L T rather than 911 or visits to the doctors. Thanks Joan

I have had a ringworm for awhile now and I ha1e tried a cream, doctor recommended, and it didn't work. I had read before from another site about using sea salt. So I tried it. I bandaged the salt onto the ailment and left it so for about an hour and a half and already there is some results. This remedy does burn, but if you can withstand it for as long as possible, you will be rewarded.
Conjunctivitis

As a child I had a horrible case of conjunctivitis. For over a month, I suffered from home with absolutely no change no matter how much eye drops or medication the doctor's prescribed me. My family finally took our yearly trip to the beach and after a day, my eye infection was completely gone. When we returned and returned to the doctor for a checkup, my pediatrician chuckled and said, oh "You went to the beach, the ocen clears that right up!" My mother could NOT believe it. We surely would have hightailed it to the beach a week into the conjunctivitis had we known! As a result of my month long infection, I had permanent vision damage and had to have membraned PEELED off my eyelids. I am just thankful the beach trip and swimming in the ocean happened when it did, otherwise, I might have had even greater eye damage. I'm lucky I only have to wear glasses/contacts for the rest of my life.
Swollen Lymph Glands

My daughter woke in the morning with her neck swollen on one side. I took her to the dr/ to see what it was. I was told she had a lymph node infection. He prescribed antibiotics for it. I don't agree with antibiotics so I went to this website and search for the cure.
I did the 1 cup of water with 1 teaspoon sea salt and 1 tspoon of baking soda.
I made her drink as much as she could of that. She's 5 yr old and its difficult to make her drink anything she don't like.
I also gave her a few yogurts to eat. And bathed her in a bath of water with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 cup of epsom salts and 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide. I made sure to continuously pour the water over her throat area. well, I was amazed to see that it was no longer swollen that night and the next morning she was just fine like nothing ever happened. I love this website!

When the bowels clears itself up from the sea salt, it actually has the tendency to reduce blood pressure, but only AFTER the bowels are cleared.
You can confirm this observation before and after:
Once the sea salt is taken with the baking soda (it helps make it more effective, really), it will flush out the system. Baking soda added to the mix will definitely help from the increased alkalinity.
If you want to know whether your sea salt works or not, a good natural sea salt pH is actually between 7.5 - 8.5. Bad quality sea salt will be below 7, and are of doubtful quality, in my opinion. It is the alkalizing effect of sea salt that helps. Just to be sure, add some baking soda to raise the pH of the sea salt solution.
The pH of the resultant solution will often be about 8.0-8.5, which is the standard pH I am looking for. It is better than an enema, which I call it the push method. The sea salt drink is the pull method. Pull method detox better than some water pushing against your bowels and therefore detoxify the body better.
Intestinal Cleansing

I have been going through a healthy lifestyle change for sometimes now. I've eliminated some things from my diet and added healthier things. While on this transition I decided I wanted an, and tried to find a simpler more cost effective way to do it. I came across a website for a salt water flush. I add 2 teaspoons of un-iodized sea salt to 1 quart of warm water (you can add a little lemon juice to mask the taste) and immediately drank the whole quart. Not to much longer after I finished the quart of water, I was headed to the bathroom. It cleansed me out thoroughly. I don't want to get graphic, but it did the job so good, it was scary. So if you need a good cleanse try it. I would like to advise you that If you have high blood pressure and cannot use salt, talk with your doctor before doing it, but It worked GREAT!

i discovered sea salt while trying to do the master cleanse. i could only do the cleanse for 2 days because of bad headache. So i decided to just do the sea salt. i seen a reduction in my stomach. i like the sea salt because because it works quickly, unlike a laxative. i informed several people about it and they love it. they also quit taking the fiber colon cleansers. Because the sea salt removes good bacteria, it is a good idea to eat yogurt afterwards to replace the good bacteria.

Resounding YA, Finishing my 4th day of a water fast and became a little worried not having a single BM since the fast began. Cruising the web and came across Sea Salt as a laxative and descided to give it a try. I can tell you it worked for me ! It took about an hour as predicted - awesome! I didn't measure properly and pretty sure I added too much salt - i felt the need and drank another liter of water soon after. Next time I will get the spoon out - and I WILL use this cleanse again. I can continue with the fast now with a clearer mind (and bowel). Hopefully I'll make it the full 10 days, feel good so far. DO stay close to the bathroom.

I tried the sea salt flush, 32 ounces warm water, two teaspoons uniodized sea salt (I added a dash of lime juice and baking soda) this morning and it is very effective. It's challenging to drink that much water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, but it is worth the effort. Will take acidophilus later today with garlic to keep digestive track healthy. Took the day off from work (you probably won't want to go anywhere else, either). Wondering if anyone has tried colon hydrotherapy and the side effects they experienced -- it's pretty expensive and not covered by insurance. Will most likely keep using this remedy as a mini detox about 2-3 times a month on the weekends. Other remedies make work well, but can cause problems when working full time and can't go to the bathroom several times a day.

Hi, I have been suffering from constipation even though I drink over 8 glasses of water and take fiber. I decided to try the sea salt flush I read about. It says 2 teaspoons of sea salt and 1 quart warm water and no sooner then you drink it you will be going. Well nothing happened. I just felt even more bloated. Any cures that work fast? I would like to do a cleanse that works fast. Thank you Angel
Acid Reflux

I suffered everyday with acid creeping up and severely hindering my ability to enjoy things in life. I noticed two huge agitators: 1. Over-eating (easy to do for anyone in U.S.) 2. Chocolate (tends to be a great laxative, but also tends to promote the acid problem. Continually the damage done by Acid Reflux caused burning and I found that taking in a good amount of sea salt (with water, foods) cleared it up.

In the morning, I mix 1Tbl ACV with a pint of water, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. I put it in a bottle and drink it throughout the day. I repeat the prosedure in the afternooon, so I drink 2 pints a day. It cures everything (my acne, sore throat, stomach ache, dry skin, sore joints...etc) I've been doing this for 3 months, and have dropped 7.5 kilograms! I <3 water! Be sure to mix it with salt and vinegar, so you don't lose vital nutrients, and sodium!
