i had a horrible sinus infection so i decided to use the 3% peroxide. i didn't have a spray bottle so i took a couple of cotton swabs and soaked them in peroxide, put them inside my nose and breathed in real slow. My nose started stinging but i did it again a couple more times then all of a sudden my nose started pouring out (you know what) for like 10 minutes. I can breathe easier and and my nose feels fantastic. MY head doesn't feel blocked up so i am definitely a believer.

It burns like hell because you didn't add salt to the solution, not because of the hydrogen peroxide content. Even if you had just added pure water it would've burnt like hell without the salt.

I used the hydrogen peroxide sprayed into mouth as per the video but did not get any foam. I also sprayed up the nose. The nose burned a little. does this go away?

I just did the hydrogen peroxide for sinus infections remedy -- it stings like hell. However, it did relieve my congestion. It remains to be seen whether it killed the infection. I'll do it 3-4 times daily over the next several days.

Holy C**P , this really works. I did antibiotics two weeks ago and nothing moved. I had presure and pain, unable to taste anything and dizzy everyday. I was going crazy waiting for another Dr. Office visit and saw this water salt and little bit of Hydrogen peroxide mix, tried it and suddenly I had drainage for the first time. Never so much so fast. It kills but it works.

Wimps, all of you. I snort the straight 3% right up my nose and into my sinuses. Yes it burns, therefore I do not recomend it unless you have a rather high tolerance for pain. Just try to limit the quantity so you do not swallow it when it comes down the back side. Enjoy!! Chucktruck

I've had a sinus infection which started from covid in early Nov. I started using Hydrogen Peroxide nasal rinse with 8oz distilled water, 2 tablespoons of food grade peroxide, neil med saline pouch, and a drop of baby shampoo. I did neil med bottle 3 times each of the 2 days.
My nose feels better, but im still a bit stuffy, especially at night with a white cloudy frothy mucus with the odd (5) small red spots of blood. Not sure if this is the virus that has been sticking around or is it from the peroxide?? I'm also wondering what adjustments I need to make to get rid of it

I had a terrible sinus infection in the left side of my face. No mucus but pain up into my nose, down into my jawbone, teeth and neck. Couldn't sleep on that side or the pain would flare up for hours. I use hydrogen peroxide for a lot so I put it in water in the neti pot tonight ( couple of tablespoons?) Pain gone. Slept on that side all night with. No problems. Hardly any tenderness in face. Plan on doing this concoction for the next few days, few times a day. Eureka! Magic cure. Put some down in ears on qtip after reading this... mucus I didn't even know I had back of throat loosened up ( allergies).

So today is my fifth day, I have felt no relief from congestion, and today when I blew my nose (before using the neti pot), I saw blood. I am using the neti pot, the included solution, and one teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide, three times a day. should I stop or am I on the right track?

I use the 3% up the nose in a spray and do the same in the mouth while breathing in. It's really nice for clearing Bronchi's and the lungs.
3% might be to strong for some but after a few times I was used to the little burning.
There is a video on utube about the spray making and breathing it in.
I love it! Clears nicely.
There is also a book about HP and it's uses for plenty of illnesses up to cancer and aids.
Found it for free somewhere on the web to download. Just don't have the link anymore so searching for it might be on. The book is called: 1 minute cure Strongly recommended!
Love to all ...... V*****

I put a cap full of peroxide in a styrofoam cup and mix it with 1/2 cup warm water. I then pour it into my hand and snort it. I do this with peroxide or sometimes salt. Sure quick way of healing sinus issues. I also used this for strep throat which helped a lot since that post nasal drip was causing the strep.

I had a cold; my sinus was congested and horrible sneezing and runny nose, so I took a Q-tip and saturated it with H-P and swabbed as far up as I could reach and snorted. Intense reaction followed by clearing of the nasal storm ... Amazing what the extra oxygen can do.

You're absolutely right. I've used the regular 3% hydrogen peroxide (Walmart/Walgreens) sparingly in salt water, with a little plastic neti pot with no problems. With enough practice, one learns how to tilt the right then the left side over a sink and clear out those sinuses in minutes. Don't need food grade and it doesn't burn that bad if one uses just a little. Immediate comfort is felt, infection clears up with just a few uses. Hydrogen peroxide mixed with the salt water works!

Hydrogen Peroxide + Neti Pot = No more Sinus Infection. I am a big believer in natural remedies (probiotics rock!) but my wife is a HUGE skeptic. She has been suffering from severe headaches with pressure in her forehead, eyes and cheeks for about a month. She has always had problems with her sinuses and has tried a neti pot with a saline solution, but with no luck. Before my wife went off to the doctor for another round of antibiotics (boo!) I found your website. What an incredible source of information. I followed some of the postings here and mixed up a 50/50 mix of lukewarm water and hydrogen peroxide in her neti pot. Almost instantly she said the pressure in her head subsided and her nose started pouring. As other people have commented the mucus was thinner and whiter than before and it did sting when she first started. But says it is definitely worth it.

I mixed about 6 parts water with 1 part hydrogen peroxide (the regularly available kind). I hung my head upside down off the side of the bed and had my husband squirt a little bit of the mixture into each nostril with a dropper. It DID burn, but I kept it in there as long as I could stand it, moving my face around to move the mixture through my sinuses. A few minutes after sitting back up, the mucous starting coming out of my nose and throat. I blew my nose for about 10-20 minutes and coughed up some mucous. It isn't pretty, but it worked. I did feel flush for several minutes afterward, too. That little bit of discomfort is worth the relief.

I have been suffering with my sinuses for last 6 months and i just came to realize i had sinusitis few days ago when i came to this website and i had my acid reflux (GERD) from last 6 years. I am living healthy lifestyle and eating fruits and vegetables and everything is in right balance but i was so confused what was wrong with me. I went to eye doctor first and then he told me to see my primary care physician, and he gave me painkillers first and then i was visiting him regularly and we did CT Scan as well. He was not able to see my sinus issue. So then i realized i have not cleared my nose properly in last 3-4 months, then it hit me and i was like damn-- i had sinusitis and doc had no idea that i was suffering from this unbearable pain. To come to the point, i used just hydrogen peroxide yesterday and holy cow i feel much better it is not all cured yet but i am grateful that if i had not come here to this site, i would have never known. And i am also taking apple cider vinegar with honey and it is helping a lot as well. Earth Clinic i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm sure 'Modern Science' found it doesn't work. Anything that is cheap and easy to use is dangerous! More and more of modern studies are being found to be fraudulent.

If you use only water and hydrogen peroxide, it will burn. Remember to make a hypertonic solution by adding salt to the water, hydrogen peroxide solution. That will not burn your mucous membranes.

I use a 16 oz Neil Med bottle, two packets of the additive, and just enough 3% hydrogen peroxide to cover the bottom of the bottle. I will never go back to the Dr. for a sinus infection again; works WAY better than antibiotics, and quicker too; costs almost nothing. This and some HP dropped in my ears along with the expanding foam earplugs, & I get over infections and colds MUCH more quickly. I drain it after about 15 minutes. No stinging or pressure. I have tried it with just 3% HP, and that is a bit harsh; but it DID attack the infection. I'd use it the new way about 5-6 times a day; It's less time than it takes to go to the Dr.'s office!

Dear Vikki,
So happy the hydrogen peroxide is working for you!
You could try some dietary changes to see if that improves the post nasal drip. Dairy would be something to eliminate first, or cut back, as it can be mucous forming.
We have found the herb nettle to be wonderful for allergies. It can be made into a tea, taken in a tincture or a capsule. (2 cups of tea daily, or 4 capsules, twice daily, or 1 teaspoon tincture, twice daily.) Quercetin is another supplement that helps a lot - 1 capsule once or twice a day. We have used it and nettle together.
Hope you continue to improve!
