I am trying to find others in these posts who have had recurring BV without any clear reasons. I have been trying to get rid of mine with antibiotics and will try the hydrogen peroxide routine ASAP. But here's my discovery. I use a water-based lubricant, and I found a long list of ingredients that can cause BV in lubricants. That explains why I keep getting BV over and over again. One ingredient to stay away from is glycerin, for example. Another is sucralose. That makes sense, because those are sugars that can change the pH balance. I made a list of all the ingredients and will do some more research, but has anyone else found personal lubricants to be a cause of recurring BV?

I'm here to let other women know they CAN treat BV while on their periods. I am 24, pretty healthy, and I take birth control pills, which is why I think my pH gets so crazy on my period. My pH seems to change when I get my period, causing the worst itch and irritation. Let me start by telling you how I got here.

A few months ago, I had the most uncomfortable, burning itch that I kept getting around/on my period. It became so unbearable, I did some research and thought it was a yeast infection. Looking back on it, I realize now it was BV. After trying to use OTC treatment for a yeast infection (monostat 1 was so painful! ), I irritated the BV (imagine your lady parts as a balloon animal) and ended up paying about $100 extra to see a doctor, who prescribed me all kinds of crap. Since then, to get rid of my itch and fix the balance of my natural pH levels, I have been mixing hydrogen peroxide with equal parts water, and adding a splash of apple cider vinegar. I insert that with a syringe (no needle, duh) and rinse with it about three times in the morning. Since tampons only irritate me more, I use a menstrual cup. I lube my cup with coconut oil and insert it after rinsing with the mixture.

Then I take two acidophilus pills orally and drink an ACV/water mixture and go about my day.

When I need to rinse my cup at night before bed, I repeat the above steps. I tried soaking the mixture in a tampon and that didn't do much for me, plus I hate how tampons irritate my vagina. I highly recommend trying the cup, especially if you have painful periods and tend to have sensitive skin. So far I have had no problems and the happiest period I've had in a while! Good luck, hope this helps!

I have been dealing with BV as well for quite some time. I've been eating raw garlic and it has been working when you change the way you eat, but as soon as I started to eat what I want, I've noticed the same recurring problem so now I'm off to try mixing oils in a douche to see if this make work faster this is a very frustrating thing to deal with!!!

I suffer from BV to and it sucks. I'm not sexually active either, mine is brought in by sugar. I wonder if that's the cause fir many if the cases. If BV and if a study could be done and test that. But yeah, I also ready about peroxide I've done it with soaking a tampon in those little cups you would use for rinsing your mouth after brushing your Teeth ( the cardboard wax ones) and a little bit of peroxide and I leave it in overnight it works . I do that and take acidophilus pills three times a day with a lot of water . You can also use liquid acidophilus if you dint think that the pills are helping fast or enough, I think the liquid one is faster but I'm not sure lol .

I did yogurt insert and emptied probiotic pill in plain Fage 0%. Like I mentioned before, I use a medicine syringe. I used 90 billion pill in yogurt....it helped a lot. The plain yogurt alone did not have enough good bacteria to fight infection. I'm so happy this helped me. God bless ladies. This is an embracing condition that I wish on no one. Take care and enough plain yogurt everyday.

BV cure for me:

1. Stop drinking coffee. For some reason, this has always started problems when I drink coffee for a few months, then bam! I stop drinking coffee (along with a few other things, and no BV for years). Why I never learn and eventually go back to drinking it, I'll never know.

2. Good quality, refrigerated probiotics. The room-temp probiotics on the shelves never did anything for me. You must get the expensive refrigerated (fem, vag, etc.) stuff (over $20). Locally, I go to "the vitamin shoppe" to get mine.

3. vitamin C. also try vitamin D, zinc, and folic acid. These are cheap and you should prob take them anyway. I also hear Iron, but don't know... I am often low on Iron on my blood tests, so makes sense. Take Iron with Iodine to prevent constipation. Try to cut sugar and carbs too.

4. Important event? buy "RePHresh" over the counter. No smell! But it will come back in a day or two. I hear boric acid is similar temporary effect. Just helps with PH.

5. Douching with hydrogen peroxide may work well if you catch it right away, it had for me, but if it is gone too far, or re-occurs, it won't work.

6. In regards to cleaning....The smell literally didn't wash out of me undies with reg detergent... get a natural detergent, like 7th generation, works much better. I also like to clean my bathroom with "bac-out". You can try putting a few drops of tea tree oil in your tub too, if you like to take baths like I do.

The most effective method to cure this condition is by treating the liver (and consequently kidney, since it's closely connected to liver). 100% success rate for me and I never get it again since 6 years ago. Had it 2 times in my life and used this method. What's fantastic about it is that it works immediately. (Smell is gone right after doing it, and stay gone for good unlike other methods.)

After reading most of the great posts, I have come to the conclusion that BV is a symptom of a systemic imbalance in the body. I was diagnosed with BV two years ago. I did not do anything about it, because I was asymptomatic. About half a year ago, I began experiencing discomfort while making love. Then the itching around my vagina began. Then the nasty smell. Several months ago, I began waking up because of the itching. It was at its worse just before my period began. I decided to do something about it a month ago. I did not go to my doctor, because I really do not want to use antibiotics. I waited with posting to see what would happen after my period had come and gone and I am happy to report that the smell and itching is gone. I'm so happy! So here is my approach:

Hygiene:

I bought all new, cotton underwear. I do not wipe after urinating, but blot my area dry. I do not use soap around my vagina anymore. I clean with water and if I feel that I need extra cleaning, I spray my vaginal area with watered down lemon juice from a spray-bottle. I finish my warm shower with a cold shower, for increased blood flow.

Diet:

I cut out most sugar and most wheat (yes, I was eating a lot of this; with the 'spit' test, I tested mid-range for candida). I do not eat too many fruits. No juices. I drink copious amounts of fermented milk kefir and home-made coconut kefir. And I eat more fermented foods to blast my body with pro-biotics. I drink several cups of water with lemon juice. I take 2 spoons of the best quality coconut oil per day. No eating after dinner. I don't drink alcohol.

Supplements - I do not take a regimented approach but it includes:

One or two cups of water with some raw apple cider vinegar. Some liquid chlorophyll diluted with water.

1/2 tsp pure psyllium husks in one cup water in the evening to help flush out my intestines.

1 1mg folic acid per day.

1 probiotic for women per day.

1 -2 tsp good quality fermented cod liver/butter oil per day for Vit. D, which I think is crucial.

1/2 tsp of bentonite clay in 1 cup of water (I let it sit for several hrs. before drinking) at night before bed to help flush out toxins. 3 days on 3 days off.

I also used Goldenseal tincture for seven days.

Multiple Remedies

Another woman's veggie lifestyle method of beating BV: The problem is that the American diet is way too acidic, because it is grain based. The only food that actually lowers your pH is vegetables, and our diet is sadly lacking in them. But one thing I found out all by myself is that drinking baking soda water is also very effective at lowering your pH.

So what I did was I started drinking a glass of baking soda water first thing when I got up, and right before I go to bed at night. Now you have to do this carefully. You only want to drink baking soda water (8 oz of water with 1/2 a tsp of baking soda) on an empty stomach. This is very important. If you drink baking soda water with food in your stomach, it interferes with your digestion, and this is very harmful and can cause other problems; so only drink it an hour before you eat something, or 4 hours after -- longer if it is a really big meal.

But I did this religiously for a month and had no BV. But that still didn't fix my diet. So I had to research online the low acid diet. Now I don't mean you have to become a vegan, far from it. Some vegan diets are too grain based. Yes, even whole grains are acidic; it doesn't matter how healthy they make it sound. Yes all grains, wheat, rice, oats, all grains. Again I don't mean you have to give them up completely, just make sure you eat more vegetables than you do an acidic food like grains, sugars (including fruit) and meat and dairy.

I'm writing this to share the info I've found. I'm 28, with one child, and I've suffered with BV on and off for years now. Let me tell what helps aside from metro gel which is costly, requires a script, and docs visit each time.

  • Drink LOTS OF WATER
  • drink water with tons of lemon in it-- it makes your body more alkaline which helps you get back to normal
  • drink cranberry juice
  • drink Kefir I buy strawberry flavor from Publix
  • drink danactive probiotic EVERY DAY; they are yummy so no biggy
  • take acidophillus pills
  • take a daily vitamin
  • take vitamin C
  • EAT HEALTHY, STAY AWAY FROM SODA, SUGARS ECT., eat veggies, try to cut carbs
  • ALWAYS WASH AND PEE AFTER SEX
  • HAVE YOUR PARTNER START EATING BETTER TOO, LIKE HAVING ONE DANACTIVE SHOT IN THE MORNING. He will become less acidic.
  • I also clean my vagina out with hydrogen peroxide which gets rid of smell and infection temporarily. Really hydrogen peroxide gets rid of ALL bacteria, but we still need the good bacteria in there so the trick, is to clean yourself out and then start eating and drinking right to get the good bacteria back in there. BV is basically a side effect of a weak immunity. If you don't take care of your body properly, it doesn't stand a chance against infections. BV is no fun, and staying healthy isnt always easy. If you are looking for an immediate cure, you're just not going to find one. Hydrogen peroxide is the closest thing to that but it's temporary. For me, I try to get my body in order the healthy way first, if it doesn't work, last case scenario I'll go to the doc for metro gel.

Store-bought probiotic products are better than nothing, but have you tried making your own? The store-bought stuff does not have the same probiotic content, is not as fresh, contains additives, is less eco-friendly, and is less cost-effective. Homemade kefir and yogurt is pretty easy, so I see no reason not to make your own! You can also try your hand at making cheese and other fermented products.

If you can get your hands on raw milk, that makes it even better, but even homemade kefir or yogurt from pasteurized milk is still better than the store-bought stuff. Making kefir requires only milk and a one-time purchase of kefir grains for around $10. You can even make your own strawberry flavor by blending strawberries and honey into the finished product!

Homemade yogurt is also very easy and preferable to the store-bought stuff. You can use a few tablespoons of store-bought yogurt as a cheap starter or buy some starter and save a few tablespoons of yogurt as a starter for next time. A yogurt-maker does all the heating and cooling for you, but is not necessary if you're on a budget.

I encourage you to look up instructions online because I assure you it's very simple!

I've suffered from BV on and off for about 20 years. Here are a few natural tips to help cure this ANNOYING disease! A least this is working for me! I call it a disease because literally it can take over your physical and emotional health for weeks on end. It also takes a toll on your finances from running to doctor to doctor. My life would consist of finding ways to get rid of this awful infection, while still going to work everyday and trying to not have a sour look on my face because of being so uncomfortable.

Anyway, there's hope and a silver lining here because I get to share this with you.. over the past 3 days, I've seen great improvement with doing the following: 1. Limit sugar and carbs! Its tough, but the sugar feeds the infection. 2. In the morning before breakfast, take 2 women's RAW probiotic 3. AFTER breakfast, take a combo pill of golden seal and enchinacea. Then, take a garlic pill (got these at whole foods). 4. Carry multiple light panty liners with you. Change every 1-2 hours, it makes sure you are dry down there. 5. Drink lots of water. 6. Walk 30 min per day. 7. Wear cotton underwear and no tight clothes. This is working for me so far, and hope it helps you too!!!

Glyco-Thymoline

This cure has worked for me for over 15 years ... until this time. This is an Edgar Cayce cure. I use a Glyco-Thymoline soaked tampon at night and then also during the day. The longest it ever took to clear up was a week. But this time it wasn't working which sent me on-line to find other remedies. I had no idea so many suffer with this. After trying a couple of different methods, like tea tree and H2O, it still wasn't working. So, I did more research and started taking the probiotics that are recommended. In my research, I thought maybe it wasn't clearing up because my body was too acidic. Bingo!! -- this seemed to be the issue that was delaying my progress. I looked up foods that are highly alkaline and very acidic and found the culprit -- Apple Cider Vinegar, which I had been taking every morning. I stopped that, started having Lemon water in the morning and filling up with all kinds of good fruits & veggies that are very alkaline. I do highly recommend Glyco-Thymoline but if it's not working for you, check your diet. :)

To: Keeping It Real from San Diego;

You are being re infected by the boyfriend. And likely now have the bacteria throughout your system.

You seem to be taking many things, but I notice you are not taking Colloidal Silver. You need a lot of that.... and make the boyfriend be protected. Again, that is the source.

You need direct topical application of CS and 50 drops of CS orally three times daily. Maybe for six months.

The boyfriend will only marginally notice his own infection, unlike a yeast infection, that he would certainly notice...if he had yeast.

Time to come clean with the BF...if he's worth a flip, he'll help you with this. If he won't ... drop him.

Please try plain yogurt with live cultures. Get some tampons, take the tampon out of the plastic covering, dip the cotton portion in the yogurt, insert in vagina. This works! Change the tampon every hour. You may have to do it for 3-4 days. Good luck!

Running a marathon will bring down your immune system.

Anal sex may have infected your BF. Infection can be locally on the skin or it could be spreading down towards his testicles/ blader -so every time you have sex it will reinfect you.

The HP douche may have killed most of your beneficial bacteria allowing opportunistic bacteria to take over. You need to recolonize your vagina with proper bacteria ( I wonder if you could use a vaginal secretion from a healthy woman for this and after that apply plain yogurt to support the bacteria development)

A sitz bath with Horse tail or Yarrow will help you and also your BF.

I really felt for "keeping it real" California when she detailed her illness and lack of success in treating it. So I would like to share what I can only describe as a miracle cure all! I was searching for a cure for my grandson, who has Autism, when I came across a book by Kerri Rivera (Healing the symptons known as Autism - Amazon ) who is reclaiming children with Autism with an amazing solution called Sodium Chlorite. This solution kills every bacteria, fungus, pathogen etc known to man. I purchased it and tried it out for myself. I broke my little finger over 20 years ago, but wasn't aware it was broken. It was bent at an angle & throbbed constantly, after just one day of taking one drop of this solution every hour for eight hours my finger is almost straight & the pain has disappeared! My husband was sceptical but after I sprayed the solution on his toenail (which was black after a forklift truck ran over it almost thirty years ago)he was amazed at how it has began to heal & regain its normal colour! I take this every day and have noticed a big difference in my skin, nails & my eyes are so much brighter. I also lost six pounds without trying, probably due to the detox reaction. This is the stuff of miracles, I hope you give it a try and let me hear your success stories. We aim to start our grandson on the full protocol to cure Autism at the start of his summer holidays. I bought online from Miracle Mineral Solutions. I hope this is of some help to those of you fighting disease & illness. Any questions please post & I will try & answer. Kind regards, Kathleen x

Re your question to Kathleen ... I'm pretty sure she is referring to MMS, a Jim Humble chloride product.

Google "MMS how to order" and you'll find sites that will explain and give info on the mixing method...one has to add citric acid to the base substance. MMS has gotten rave reviews and some severe critics.

I've never tried it but may...my research on it continues. I'm ALWAYS on the hunt for anti viral/fungal and bacterial agents. My favorite is colloidal silver.

Hi, I am desperate for an answer! For over a year, I have had constant vaginal burning, irritation, discharge and prickling. It feels like yeast but all cultures come back normal, except for 1 in Dec 2012, that came back as yeast. Treatment did not relieve symptoms at all! I've been treated with tons of things over the past year, including a few Diflucan, multiple courses of boric acid, Terazol, baking soda soaks, vaginal probiotics, oral probiotics, gentian violet tampons. And also treatment with antibiotics for possible ureaplasma. Nothing has helped except...when this first started, I thought it was yeast and I just got my period, so before it got really heavy I thought I would use 1 boric acid suppository to try and get some relief, and then use the full course once the period was over. Well, the 1 suppository DID bring relief, all pain went away only for a day or so! I then used the full course after my period to try and get rid of it and it did nothing! So, therefore, it can NOT be vulvodynia and has to be some type of infection/imbalance! I am beside myself and feel out of options! Doctors are clueless! I've spent tons of money on doctors out of network, meds, etc and still no answers! I don't want to live like this forever, the thought is unbearable and I ask for death to come almost daily. Sounds horrible, I know, but it's that bad! I can't have sex or exercise because of it. I am only 42! I've even thought about going across the country to these vaginal "specialists" but they have some bad reviews! Please, if anyone can come up with anything at all, doctors to suggest, etc or any ideas on what this could be would be awesome! Getting a diagnosis is half the battle! If we could just find out what it is! I have only had yeast problems in my life. Thank you for reading!

Find a new source for your boric acid maybe, maybe you are being given a bad batch? Or you are inadvertently reinfecting yourself with your clothing? Maybe it is another problem, like lichen sclerosis? Recurrent vaginal infections may be a sign of another illness, such as HIV.

Tina: She put raw honey up there at bedtime and left it there overnight. She got relief untill 4 a.m. The infection came back not as much as before. Get the water kefir grains and info on line. Watch how to make water kefir in two minutes or less video. There are two kinds, fully awake, and dormant. The dormant ones take 3 to 4 days to awaken. Taste the water periodically. The water changes from sour to tart. When tart they are fully awake. Use 4 oz. from previous batch to make next batch. You can see bubbles rising to the surface. Put 30g sprouted flour and 30g organic whole cane sugar in 1 quart spring water. Let brew at room temp away from direct sunlight. Do not use any metal. I let mine brew from 12 to 24 hours before it gets too tart. I make 1 gallon per day.

Hi Tina...You mustn't give up!! You definitely have options.

The mistake that many women make is to believe that they can get rid of their serious bacterial vaginosis(BV) or vaginitis issues using just topical meds. If you research bacterial vaginosis, as I have done, you will see that BV is almost always assciated with candida problems in women. Furthermore, your problem seems to confirm that your BV is a symptom of an internal systemic candida infection because, no matter what regular meds or remedies you have tried topically, you cannot get rid of it.

Your ongoing problems and attending confusion will also further be increased and compounded because doctors -- the so called experts -- are not really very good at diagnosing candida. So it is more than possible that your candida problem has gone entirely unrecognized. My simple advice to you is to go to a competent naturopath with a good rep and get a second opinion. Naturopaths and alternative healers are much more compassionate and adept at both diagnosing and treating serious BV/candida problems.

Dr Orian Truss was a candida expert who wrote the first definitive book on candida called The Missing Diagnosis in the 1980s, who also recognized that the majority of doctors were fairly incompetent at both diagnosing and treating candida. Here's a quote from his book:

“The most common manifestations [of candida], in addition to anxiety and inappropriate depression, may include: bloating, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, vaginitis (aggravated by antibiotics and birth control pills), urethritis, cystitis and other skin problems (acne, hives, diaper rash, oral thrush, athlete's foot, jock itch, nail infections), chronic fatigue, chemical intolerance to food and inhaled chemicals, headaches (migraine and sinus), nasal, sinus, and bronchial allergies, menstrual disorders, decreased libido and impotence, premenstrual tension, and impairment of short term memory and concentration as well."

Therefore it should now have become apparent to you that vaginitis or BV is often associated with serious candida issues, to the extent that BV should, in many cases, be regarded as a candida symptom.

So your greater, unrecognized but ongoing problem is probably systemic(not uterine) candida. What you should therefore do is make up your own mind about this, one way or another, and then act on your own decisions and instincts.

Here is a link to an anti-candida protocol on EC that I've been using with some success. The Anti-Candida Protocol.

Thinking of giving this a try. How often do you need to do the cold showers?

Sea Salt Baths

I love this site! I tried the 1:1 mix of hydrogen peroxide to water with the tampon method and it works! Another one that has worked for me is salt water soaks. I use 1 cup sea salt to about 7 cups HOT water and mix in a plastic basin. Sit in it for 10 min and repeat for another 10 min. I found this on YouTube and it has worked for a milder case of BV.

I want to know how do you put the tampon inside of you with the yogurt without it being uncomfortable. I tried using a tampon for the first time and just dipped it in yogurt but once I felt like it was all the way in me it felt uncomfortable so I had to remove it. Im thinking it could be because I'm not wet down there since I'm not on period and I didnt have a whole lot of discharge but it was some. I took it out right away since it was uncomfortable and I had a hard time getting it out, I had to pull the strings a little harder and the actual tampon part..When you soak the tampon in yogurt arent u supposed to soak it with the applicator part on or do u remove it? Am I doing something wrong can someone please help me? Has anyone had this same problem?

Homeopathy, Folic Acid, Acidophilus

I have suffered from BV infections for 8 years now. I found this website 4 years ago. I've tried everything. The first thing I tried was the Acidopholis and Folic Acid... No Peroxide. I did work but it took 4 weeks for it to work. I continued to take one pill of each daily to maintain a balanced PH.. it worked! But then I got lazy and stopped taking it after a year... Low and behold I got a bv infection again. I tried it again this time I added the Peroxide.. Adding the Peroxide made it WORSE. I went to the Dr. and he explained that Peroxide kills ALL bacteria.. The good bacteria along with the bad... The Dr. gave me an RX for Clindaycin.. it got rid of my BV infection but left me with a Yeast infection.. The insert from the drug company states that it may cause a yeast infection... I continued getting BV infections every few months. I finally tried a Homeopathic BV Treatment. It's a 6 day treatment. With the first 24 hours the fowl odor was gone but I did use the inserts for 6 days... I also started taking the Acidophilus and Folic Acid daily to maintain a balanced PH... Once you get a BV infection you will continue to get them but you can lower fequency of flare ups. I continue to take the Acidophilus and Folic Acid daily. When I do get a flare up I use the homeopathic treatment.. Depending on the serverity of the infection., I use the treatment for 4 - 6 days.. I buy a PH test from my local drug store in order to determine how many days to use the treatment. The home test is a little pricy but well worth the money. Maintaining a balanced PH is a tricky thing because too much of a BV treatment can cause a yeast infection and it can turn into a vicious cycle.. I hope this helps. Good luck ladies. I know how embarrasing and life altering BV infections are.

Which homeopathic remedy did you use, and how much folic acid and probiotic? My sister is pregnant, and doctor wants to put her on antibiotic, even though she doesn't even have any symptoms, so it can't be that bad. We would love to try something, that is safe in pregnancy and homeopathics usually are very gentle. Lots of herbs mentioned here are not okay as they induce labor. Thank you in advance.

Hydrogen Peroxide Variations

I've fought with bv for years. The ONLY thing that has worked for me is douching with borax and hp. I reuse a standard clean douche bottle with a tbl spoon or so of each. Make sure water is hot so the borax dissolves. I use it for a week or so. Adding Borax to your bottled water will also cleanse the Candida from your system too. There is plenty of info on here about supplementing with Borax! It's wonderful stuff!

Hi Ladies, I too have suffered with chronic BV my entire life. I'm 47. Too many rounds of flagyl, metro that did not work and gave me yeast infections. so heres what I did.

In the morning I douched with half hydrogen peroxide half water. I take 14 billion acidophilus pills, a probiotic for womens health down there, B, 3000 IU of vitamin D3, 500 mg vitamin c and 800 mg folic acid.

At night, I douched with apple cider vinegar half and half, 14 billion more acidophilus( make sure they are the refrigerated kind) a multi vitamin with 2000 IU vitamin D3, 400 mg folic acid and another vitamin c. I also opened about 4 acidophilus capsules and added water to make a small ball and inserted in into my vajay. On day 4 I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend but he pulled out. Semen is the enemy! So far no symptoms and it has been a week. I plan on continuing the vitamins and probiotics. Ladies, google it vitamin D3 and folic acid deficient are linked to BV.

Not sure if you have tried this yet , but I have had great success at first sign of the itchy misrable yeast beast. If you use cold processed coconut oil and Vit E capsule. Just insert both and repeat 2-3 times a day. You can not believe how well this works. Minus all the pain and burning of things like Apple Cider Vinegar or tea tree oil. Plus it doesnt seem to mess up the balance ;-). Hopefully this can help someone. I also read about adding a vit B-6 capsule I think but the coconut oil alone is usually all that is needed.

I have suffered for 1 1/2 years w/o a break from BV. I've done 7 rounds of antibiotics, no help what so ever! I've tried the hydergon peroxide distilled douche route, as soon as I stopped douching BV returned :-(. Done holistic approach, acupuncture and boric acid inserts again no resolution! Oh and I've tried the pills orally and vaginally, nothing helped. I am at my wits end, my husband doesn't want to touch me, who can blame him? Horrible discharge and smell not very romantic! ANYONE have any suggestions?

Have you been tested for trichomonas(sp)? Worst smell ever plus discharge that just won't quit. I showered two or three times a day when I had it and it still wasn't enough.

For BV, I have heard of good results with apple cider vinegar(AVC). Both drinking and douching. Look at the responses here https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/bacterial_vaginosis6.html#ACV

https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/acvinegar7.html#BV

Drinking 1-2 tablespoons of AVC in a glass of water daily has helped me with a few different issues. Read about all of the different issues with which people have been helped by drinking AVC. https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/acvinegar.html

Hi I'm 33 I started getting bv around 22 after my son was born. I remember my mom suffers from this I used to comment to her after I would use the restroom right that it smelt funny she would get upset and say that's how we are supposed to smell. Ugh no I don't believe so. So after my first experience of being able to smell myself I went to the doctor he said it's bv. I told my grandma. She immediately said I had Trich, a std. Wrong person to tell besides my mother she was raised in the (50's) this is an era where they used Lysol to douche. Anyway I use the antibotic given which last me about 6 months. But I'm sexually active with my boyfriend of 8 year's now he comments now and then but not in mean way just he doesn't prefer oral as much. Yeah thanks BV!! So I found you all in hopes of curing my horrible embarassing bv. So here goes.

Barbara,

I'm sorry for all your pain and suffering you've gone through. I agree with your last statement and I will pray and believe for God to heal and deliver you of all oppession related to this problem. Nothing is impossible with God. In Jeremiah 30:17 it says God restores health to your body and heals all your wounds. I've seen God perform many miracles in impossible situations, and I will pray in faith that he will heal you completely. You have a future and a hope.
