Banana Peel

I have already used the banana peel remedy before on my genital area and it worked fine. It got rid of it and didn't scarred. Unfortunately, when I tried using the same method (banana peel secured by a medical tape) on my torso (chest and belly area) it didn't work and had somehow left burn-like scars from the medical tape's adhesive. Just use with caution, even if it worked on some parts of the body, it may not work on the other parts.

Dealing with a huge planter wart and have done almost everything to get rid of it, trying the banana peel method for 5 days, seeing a huge change in my wart but not sure we are heading the right direction, can anyone help with the stage of what they saw with there wart. Mine got very big, white, then brown, then spotted, still hurts like heck, just wondering if this is the way that it works...

OK, I will admit I am a skeptic. I started using the banana peel 48 hours ago. I have 3 warts. 2 on my right hand, and a plantars wart on my foot. My plantars wart seems to have reacted to the banana peel as there is now a small hole in my foot. No black dots, but I don't believe it is gone as alchohol and vinegar have no pain effect to the hole. If it was down to raw flesh I am sure I would feel it. The 2 on my hand don't look much different as of yet. A little softer when I first take the band aid off, but color, size, etc are about the same. I will post my results after a couple weeks.

Banana Peel

I just wanted to comment on the success I had using squares of banana peel on my son's plantar warts. The warts were on his heel.

I have been treating this "thing" since March 2009. We had seen a Dr. monthly, for freezing sessions, acid treatments, scraping with scalpel. Then in Aug, 1 large wart started to spread out into small clusters that popped up all over his heel. I didn't think we would ever be rid of them!

One morning I followed a link that came in through an e-mail. I read that warts could be "cured" using banana peel.

I thought...really...well, we've tried just about everything else...lets see what happens.

Last night I put 2, 1 inch squares of peel, inside down, on my son's warts and covered them with adhesive paper tape. About 12 hours later he removed the tape, and shouted...Mom, their black!

Sure enough...the warts that were covered with peel had indeed turned black. He rubbed the black off, dents were left where the warts had been. There are still some "feeder veins" left, so we will treat the foot again tonight.

I'm hoping this is the treatment we've been looking for. I can't thank you enough your useful site and remedies! I have bookmarked your page for future use. Sincerely, Susan
