A while back I started applying a capsaicin liniment (Watkins RED liniment) to my toenails too eliminated nail fungus. I applied it twice a day, after my morning shower and before bed. After four weeks and less than $25, the fungus was undetectable on my toe nails.
So now I found a planters wart on the bottom of my foot about the size of a nickle. I tried duct but no success. I remember reading an article about cayenne pepper for warts so I pulled out the Watkins and made a homemade bandage from paper tape and a flat cotton pads. Soaked the cotton in Watkins Liniment and taped it over the wart and leave it on all day. Did this for 10 days and the wart is gone.
I'm sure you could also make a paste from cayenne pepper powder and olive oil to do the same thing, it's just messy.
