Black Walnut

My husband had warts on the bottom of one foot from before we were married. After about 16 years of marriage I had gone into one of the local grocery stores and spoke with the lady who supplied herbs to the store. She suggested that my husband should try using black walnut (also known as English walnut) suppliments for his warts so I purchased a bottle and he followed the directions on the label. The capsules were 500 miligrams each and the directions said to take two capsules with a meal twice daily (1000mg with breakfast and 1000mg with supper). At the time he had started taking the black walnut he had so many warts on the bottom of that one foot that one half of the bottom was completely covered with them. He took the black walnut for a few weeks and in less than a month all the warts were gone. He has not had a single wart since and it has been over 8 years now. We have had 4 other family members who have taken black walnut for their warts and all four of them have had the same success, all of them dissappeared and none have returned. There was no need to remove anything, the warts shrunk, leaving no trace that they were ever there. I was hesitant at first to give black walnut to my six-year-old because I didn't know much about it. I did a little research and found nothing that indicated that it would be bad for him. I looked in an herb book written by an ND (naturpathic doctor) to figure out how much to give him. In the book the ND gave a general guideline for herb dosages as follows: Preschool children take 1/4 of an adult dose, children ages 5 through 10 take 1/2 of an adult dose, early teens take 3/4 of an adult dose, and then when they reach the size of an adult (usually between ages 16 to 21) then they take the full adult dose. I decided to go with the 1/4 dose for my 6-year-old though because he was small for his age. He had 3 or 4 warts on his one hand, with the largest being in the center of the palm. I was amased that in 2 to 3 days his warts shrunk significantly and were completely gone within 1 or 2 weeks. It has been 5 years and like the other family members, he has not had another wart.

I used organic unpasteurized honey from the health food store to cure warts on my son's hands. You take a table spoon twice a day for two weeks. I recommended this to a friend who had warts and it also got rid of her sty she had for years near her eye.

Hello Everyone * If you have a nasty plantar wart(s), PLEASE READ THIS! I'm 31 years old and I have had these nasty plantar warts on the bottom of my big toe for 2-3 years. It's the size of a quarter(in clusters) on my big toe and it has spread to my other toe's and on several other smaller spots on the bottom of my foot. They spread, because I would exfoliate my heels and also would try and "sand" down the wart.(PLEASE DON'T DO THIS) warts are very contagious. It would also swell up when it was wet. YUCK! I have tried everything possible to get rid of this nasty thing. OTC wart removers, Peroxide, Duct Tape, Alcohol and then I was watching an episode of "The Doctors" a lady had called in and said she had used clear "topcoat" finger nail polish on her sons wart and it was gone in a few days. So, I said what the heck.... I will try that too! I applied the nail polish every night after my shower. Every 3 days I would peel the layers of polish off the wart. Each time I would peel the built up polish off, you could see small layers of the wart coming off. I cont. to do this for a few weeks. I was not going to stop. Then as I notice each week how it was getting smaller, smaller and smaller. WOW I am so amazed and just estatic about this, IT"S COMPLETELY GONE!!! NO scarring, no markings, nothing....just normal clean toe! So Amazing, I just had to share this with others!

Yes the ACV treatment for curing warts worked! At night, I covered the wart with a piece of cotton ball I soaked with ACV then a bandaid. After a while it does burn, so I took a couple of nights off and just kept the wart covered with a bandaid during the day. Within 2 weeks the wart turned black, and with a little help from the tweezer was gone. There is no trace of the wart at all. I am a firm believer in ACV.

my 8 year old cousin had 3 planters warts on the bottom of his feet, they got medicine, and razors to cut off the top part of the wart from the doctor for it but it was not working. I told them about pure raw unfiltered organic apple cider vinigar, and after 3 days of applying it 2 or 3 times a day and not washing it off, the warts fell off. We still apply the vinigar as a precaution and only for a few days after they fell off. Good luck this worked fast, and was painless!

I have suffered from and unusual case of warts on my face and fingers. I have tried almost everything, including going to the dermatologists at least six times to have them frozen, but they always came back. It took a long time, but the apple cider vinegar remedy definitely worked, and I finally have them under control know. If one starts to show up I can just nip it in the bud. I am so grateful that I found this cure, and I found it on this website. Thanks a lot, and I hope many more people will benefit from trying this.

I had a wart for close to 20 years under my big toe where it joined the foot. It didn't really bother me much until the last 10 years. I went to a dermatologist twice to have it burnt off. That was all pain and no gain! I tried the typical OTC acids, the duck tape and numerous other remedies. After reading this site, I tried the ACV. Morning and night I'd soak a piece of cotton and cover it with a bandaid. Also at night, I'd soak my foot for about 30 minutes in ACV. I was determined to get rid of this thing is why I went at it so aggressively! It took 2-3 days before I felt the stinging and/or throbbing that others mentioned. Sometimes it would get bad enough that I had to back off the treatments for a day or two...on those days I just kept the wart covered with duct tape. It took 2-3 weeks for the wart to turn black then I was able to peel it off. I guess it took longer than usual because I'd had it for so long. That was a couple of months ago and so far it hasn't returned. I'm so thankful for this website and all the wonderful people who take the time to post their experiences!!

Just found your website and love it, so wanted to tell you of my own experience. A while back I developed an ugly wart on my ear. I tried everything on the market, but nothing worked, until I mentioned it to my mother-in-law. She told me of a remedy that was passed down from her great grandmother, which was to apply egg white to the wart several times a day, and before going to bed at night. I figured I would try it since I had nothing to lose. After a few days I noticed it was smaller, and about 10 days later it was completely gone. I was amazed, and am now a firm believer of old time remedies!

I have heard that acv is good for warts but my daughter used the 3% hydrogen peroxide i made with the 35% food grade and her warts came off very quickly and we had tried everything. The little black dots u are seeing where the wart is need to be picked out, the doctor had told us they were like little black seeds and if we got those out her warts would eventually go away and it did seem to help. Im not sure if the avc is the cause of the pain but u may wish to try the hydrogen peroxide and see if that helps my daughter had no pain and and several warts were gone within days hope this helps good luck

Hello, I have some questions regarding this treatment. I have a plantar wart on the ball of my foot under the 3rd and 4th toes. It is about the size of a nickel. I apply ACV to a cotton ball and cover it with duck tape at night, and take it off in the morning (usually leaving it on for about 16-20 hours). When I remove the cotton ball, my wart seems to indent and turn a milky white. It has black/brown specs throughout.
I typically use hydrogen peroxide on the wart, and take a shower (washing the wart with an antibacterial soap). When I get out of the shower, I typically let the wart dry out for a few hours and then trim the hardened skin off of it (to reveal the white soft skin with black/brown/reddish spots). Then I reapply the ACV and duck tape. I have been using the ACV for a few days. My foot has so much pain it hurts to walk on it. Is this all normal? I've read some comments here that say that wart should turn black. I'm not sure how long I can stand to continue the treatment with this pain. Any suggestions? Thank you! I am hoping this treatment will help to get rid of this darn thing!

I had recently bought the 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide and made the 3% with it using 1oz. of the 35% with 11oz. of water and my daughter who seems to not be able to get rid of warts put some on the warts and within days they fell off. I was simply amazed we had tried everything even the banana peels and have been to the doctor and had them frozen and they didnt go away from that so after years of buying stuff from the pharmacy to get rid of the warts I have finally found something that works. Hope it will be of some use. Love this site it gives lots of info...
Aspirin

Many years ago I discovered a remedy for warts. Take an aspirin and melt it with a small bit of water. Take a toothpick & take a small amount of the melted aspirin and put it right on the wart...do NOT get any on your skin (only on the wart) as it will eat the skin. Put a band-aid over it for a day or two...Then you may want to take the band-aid off. If the wart has turned black leave it alone. If it did not turn black put a bit more fresh aspirin on it & cover again for another day or two. Then take band-aid off & forget about it. You'll look one day shortly after & the wart will have disappeared...Just do NOT get the aspirin on the skin... Cathy

This site has helped me cure (yes cure, not just relief) some nasty foot warts that kept coming again and again for the last 3-4 years. I had been through several dermatologists, been through the freezing, biopsy, laser, OTC...you name it, all treatments but only to see them come back again in months. I was so frustrated to go back to the Dr. so many times and even asked the Dr if there was any cure for it and what I can do to make sure they don't come back but they just kept on doing the freezing/lazer every time I went (good business I guess).
After reading the ACV treatment for warts on this site I tried it and it REALLY worked as others say on this site. I dipped a cotton ball in ACV and placed it on the wart and taped it (body tape) over night and for 3 weeks. Some warts turned black within a week but others took time but they all were gone. I am sure they will not come back again this time. Even if they do I have a cure I can do myself at home instead of repeated trips to the Dr.
I am very thankful for this site, now I am also taking ACV drink (in water, honey) 3-4 times a week to see if it helps boost my immunity. I will know this next fall when the allergies start every year for me. I hope I won't get those seasonal allergies this year. That would be wonderful, all with a natural, safe and do at your own time cure.

Apple Cider Vinegar cured my wart.
I normally do not write reviews, but after reading on a medical site that ACV does not work, I had to post my results. I had a wart on my hand for over a year; I tried all the over the counter medicines but they did not work. I logged on to your site and saw the ACV cures and decided to try it. Within two weeks the wart was completely gone. I spent about fifty dollars trying different things to get rid of it and the bottle of ACV in my pantry did the trick. As suggested, I put the ACV on a cotton ball, covered the wart and wrapped it in tape every night before bed. Thank you all for your postings, please try this remedy, it works.

I would like to enthusiastically offer my support for apple cider vinegar in the cure of various skin ailments. WARTS: I dipped a very small piece of cotton in ACV, put this directly on the wart, then covered all with an air-tight bandage. I left on for c. 12 hours, then let the entire area breathe for 12 hours. I repeated for about 3 weeks, as this was a deep and large wart. The first 2 applications stung and throbbed a bit, but from then on, the entire enterprise was painless. The area eventually ulcerated--looks messy for a while--and painlessly peeled off. No more wart! As maintenance for about 3 more weeks, I dabbed a little ACV on the area, without bandage. The wart has not recurred after more than a year and a half! This really works, folks!
ACTINIC KERATOSIS: My dermatologist identified this on my skin just above my upper lip. She offered to burn it off with liquid nitrogen: no, thanks. I followed the same ACV routine, and it worked! Took a lot less time, as this keratosis was not deep.
BENIGN PAPILLOMA: I am currently eliminating a little bump from my nose that I've had for over 10 years: it is in the red and ulcerating phase and about to sluff off.
I am THRILLED with the way ACV works to remove skin ailments! This method is cheap, safe, and natural. The skin afterwards is perfectly healthy and not scarred: quite preferable to liquid nitrogen or fluorouracil-5 or other harsh chemicals. Try it!
