ACV cure for warts (hand and foot): Soak enough cotton balls/ pads to cover your feet in Apple Cider Vinegar. TO get the best result, put the cotton pads soaked in ACV in a sandal which won't get ruined and will help keep the pads in their place (perfect shoe/ sandal: CROCS). Soak your feet for as long as you can-make sure you do this on a day when you're COMPLETELY free. When done, clean your feet with warm water and clean off the dead skin. When your feet are completely dry afterward, use a plastic foot file to remove rough skin and rub foot lotion.

I've been in pain for two years with foot warts and I've found the best 'medicine' (cheap, effective) only recently. I soaked my foot three times (almost 10-15 hours each time) and the effect was unbelievable! Now, I am completely wart free! All thanks to Earth Clinic and of course---Apple Cider Vinegar.

Banana Peel

I was looking for a natural cure for warts as I recently had one on my middle finger and decided to try the banana peel & duct tape. I cut out a piece of banana peel that covered the wart and taped it there with duct tape. The next day I removed it and got another piece of banana peel and applied the duct tape again. On the third day I was teaching so I just applied the duct tape for the next few days and then it was practically gone. It didn't turn black, but the wart/skin started to slough off. Now there's a slightly pink area and no wart.

I had a plantar wart right on the edge of my heel that I could not get rid of. I tried the OTC freezing stuff and it did nothing. I starting putting ACV on a pinch of a cotton ball on it at night with a bandaid. I would also put a fresh one on in the morning and try to keep it on all day. This was during the summer even, I would just put a bandaid on it. It looked better than the wart anyway. After a few weeks, it turned white and eventually came out. The hold healed up and now you can't even see where it was and it has not returned after 2 years.

ACV for Warts: At first, i used thuja oil (Warts no more). Honestly, there was not much improvement mostly just redness. I had only tried it for about 2 weeks and one appeared to be getting smaller but it says it can take 2-6 weeks for thuja to work. I lost patience and i found this webpage and tried apple cider vinegar and in 3 days they are black and scabbed over!!! yes, it burns. It can be bloody awful at times but it's pretty damn worth it. Also I agree with the original poster baths help, warm water and then hydrogen peroxide really seemed to help. it fizzes a lot. which is a good thing i presume. the skin around the scabs has turned reddish so i'e been applying off and on tea tree oil and aloe vera. aloe vera calms it quickly. i didn't keep the bandage on all day mainly just 6-10 hours at night and when just hanging around at home i would reapply acv wait for it to drink up and reapply but you must bandage it for a continuous amount of time.

Good luck! give it a shot. for the nay sayers just so you know one of mine was stubborn, Very stubborn so don't give up after one try. be positive and take lots of ester-c (Vitamin c but the absorbable kind, vitamin c when taken in supplements is often not absorbed)

Cheers!

After numerous trips to the Dr. & failed painful treatments of the freezing method for the warts on my finger, my sister suggested this remedy. At night I wet a cottonball with the ACV then put it on the wart and cover it with a bandaid. I change this nightly. within 1-2 weeks my warts were gone.

Snails

I did not know where to place this comment....I would like to tell you how I got rid of my warts after six years of suffering. I was in real despair. They were so unsightly all over my hands and I was frequently breaking down and crying and was so embarrassed to go shopping...yes. One day I went into our garden and picked up a garden snail and rubbed it over my warts then I went indoors to the bathroom and peed - yes you heard right!!- on them. I did this for three or four days several times a day and noticed a very dramatic effect. After 10 days or so they were completely gone with absolutely no scarring and never to return. How's that??!! And all at no cost and the snail did not have to die!

I am not sure the snail had anything to do with curing your warts. It could be just the urine therapy on its own. I would not pick up a snail either, as in some areas they can carry the heartworm virus. People drink their own urine for cures, so i can quite believe the urine cured them.

Well, it worked! I wrapped the bandaid on it for 3 nights, then I took 3 nights off to let the sensitive skin around the wart heal. I was all set to resume the ACV treatments and the wart simply fell off! Total time from beginning to end was only 6 days. And this is after several years, and 2 rounds of prescription treatments failed. Just be sure to apply vaseline on the healthy skin around the wart when you start this treatment.

Hi I have about 10 warts on my hand and I tried a liquid medicine on my warts and they went away, but they came back with more later. Does ACV really work? And does it have any pain?

Apple Cider Vinegar, HP (remedy) plantars wart(ailment):

I have had plantars warts on the bottom of my feet for close to 15 yrs now... 4 of those years they were nothing more than an irritating itch that i could put up with without much of a headache.. then i started to scuba dive and i found my feet burning inside my fins and progressivly got more irritating.. my guess is the salt water and depth combination had a hand in that. so after a year i moved off the island i was living on and moved back to the city... i think i should remark that i never had much knowledge about warts.. always had perfect skin even as a teen.. went to the doctor 5 times to remove 5 warts... using the usual freezing, burning, cutting and combinations of all of the above with the horrible result of the warts growing back much bigger after each operation.. the doctors said that the root wasnt cut out so the warts would just return... (should have told me before he took my money i think).. tried the duofilm and urine cream... just burned holes in my feet making me so sensitive that i walked on the left side of my foot... causing my bone on the outerside of my foot to change shape to the point of being able to bear my weight on the bone instead of using the ball of my feet..in a clear act of despiration after stopping the duofilm (used it a year without positve results) i contemplated drilling a hold into my foot.. filling it with super glue and yanking it out of my foot.. i know i know.. crazy... but pain 24/7 for so long made me alittle desperate to be free of it... i had looked on the internet numerous times but never came across ACV before.. this is about 2 weeks ago.. ive been using acv full strength everyday now for 7 days.. the first day i just stuck my whole foot into a plastic shoe box with my heal elevated by a small plastice box inside.. the burning came after the first 20 min. but desperate to remove this virus from my foot i left it in for 90 min.. then washed it off with clear water and applied a small piece of duct tape with a piece of cotten in the middle soaked in acv.the following morning the area looked like it had swollen 2 times the size.. so i used a razor blade to trip off what i thought to be dead skin.. finally trimmed across the vein or hole that the virus i guess is using to breath and bled for 30 min..i have been applying the tape, cotton and acv coninuously now for 7 days.. also drinking Ted's recipe for acv.. the reults have been excellent so far.. although the pain for the past 7 days has prevented me from much getting sleep. the wart is black/red now and i think dieing.. i hope. if it works.. ill be jogging often.. thanks very much for the information shared here by all... i think if this didnt work i would have tried the super glue.. OUCHHH.. ill post again when my feet are clear...

Voodoo Remedies for Warts

I'll add my voodoo cure which coincides with others already listed.

I had a wart on my thumb which refused to go away. I tried the OTC remedies and finally gave up. I took a razor blade and grimly cut deeply into my thumb in an attempt to remove it. My reward was an additional wart appearing as well as the original again returning. I told a friend about this and he laughingly told me that he had had one and his mother had told him to scrub it with a cloth and then bury it. He said he knew it sounded crazy, but it had worked.

I didn't give it much more thought until one day when I was over at his mom's and he brought it up. His mom confirmed it and also stated that if you buried the rag on the property of someone else, they would get the wart. I decided to finally give in and give it a try (No, I didn't bury it on another's property.). To my amazement, the wart just disappeared. I didn't expect it to work and used a greasy rag I was working with in my garage. But, work it did.

About a year ago I started developing huge warts all over my hands, probably 4 or 5 on each, and they were nasty. I was embarrassed by them, so I went to the doctor and for $300 and two visits he froze them, which was very painful. Well some of them went away, but came right back and even bigger. It also left scars. I read up a little on the internet, desperate for a remedy. Well, let me tell you Apple Cider Vinegar is an f--ing miricle! Every night before bed I soaked a cottonball in it and taped it to my hand over the wart. In the morning they would be swollen and a little painful, so you have to cover them with band-aids during the day. Anyway, it took ten days and they just eventually turned dark, shriveled and fell off. It was so easy and cheap and I haven't had a wart since. My mind is eased and I'm so happy I want to share the good news with everyone.

My wife & I had a couple of warts for about 5 years and tried everything under the sun to get rid of them. We used the Apple Cider Vinegar solution and it worked GREAT for both of us. We took a small cotton ball about the size of the wart top, placed this onto 3M tape, taped the cotton ball over the wart, poked a hole in the top thru the tape, placed an eye dropper thru the hole with a few drops of ACV, did this a couple of times a day and within 5 days the wart turned black and was gone in about a month after the root grew out.

Apple Cider Vinegar - why don't doctors know about this for warts? My daughter had over 20 warts on the bottom of her left foot. I tried all the stuff from the drug store but all they did was hurt the skin around the wart. The doctor tried to freeze them off but that did not work and was very painful for my 10 year old. The next step was to go to a dermatologist. Luckily though I read about the vinegar cure in the local newspaper and then searched on line to see if anyone else had any success with it. I read how they applied it and did the following each night. First due to the severity of the wart problem I used cotton balls soaked in Apple Cider viegar and bandage tape to secure them to the bottom of the foot every night. After a few days several of them began turning black. We kept going with it even though when the wart started to die it could be really itchy and sometimes sore. It never hurt the good skin though. Sometimes I would skip a day or two. After a couple of weeks almost half of the warts were gone. The warts that were in the middle of the foot that were really deep took about 13 weeks to finally completely die and go away. My daughters very last wart was gone this morning! Unbelievale! All the money I spent and all it took was a $2 bottle vinegar and some cotton balls and patience! My daughter is so happy that she doesn't have to hide her feet anymore! I think I will email the doctor to let her know a real cure!

My friend's son at age twelve had many warts on the palms of his hands which caused him much embarassment. I told him that I would 'buy' them from him. I put a pile of coins (approx $3) on a shelf in his mother's kitchen. I told him that now that I had bought his warts they would soon disappear and then he could take the money and use as he wanted. Took about a month. Warts all gone!

I am female, 20 years young. I have had a wart on my hand for about 8 years. I've had it frozen off around 5 or 6 times. One time by a dermatologist who promised it wouldn't come back. Welllll she was wrong, because it came back bigger and times 3. Not a happy camper, I got to the point where I decided I was going to let it go and hope it falls off. Well, that didn't happen, I got sick of my large wart on the top of my hand for everyone to see, so I tried Apple Cider Vinegar. I would put it on a cotton ball with a large band-aid over it and would do this at night. The pain was too much so I quit doing that. After a while, the warts spread. So 6 months later I decided I was sick of it again only this time I was going to stick it out the whole time. I did the same routine only I would wear a band-aid with tape around 24/7. At times the pain was so much I wanted to cry. It was eating not only the warts, but also my skin in the area of the band-aid. It looked SOOOO disgusting. I would pick at it, and try and get the wart out and it would not budge. It also made new baby warts appear. I was at my wits end! I had been doing this consistently for 7 days. I started out with only doing it at night then for the last 3 days I did it all day. The pain was way too excruciating that I just gave in. It was obviously working, I could see the actual wart, but it hurt too much I booked an appointment to once again get it frozen off. Well, hallelujah!!!!! Today, I took the band-aid off and touch it, I picked the scap/wart and it came off!!!!!!!!! YAYE I am so excited and I recommend this to anyone with a wart, the only thing that I really recommend is to stick it out or else they might spread. If you have any questions feel free to ask me I would love to help fellow wart suffers!!! God Bless

So I have been doing the apple cider vinegar for about 5 days now. Putting a soaked cotton ball on the wart on my hand with tape at night and just a band aid during the day.

The wart is not angry brown and white and a little black on the edges and the surronding area is raw red. Is this how the wart should look when being treated? Should I keep going? Help!!!!!

Sounds like to me if you put apple cider vinegar on a mole or a cut and wrap it - you would burn it.
