When I was a young teen, I had this huge wart on my knuckle for years. everytime I hit it on something it would bleed. One day while visiting my mother in law, she said to steal a washrag when no one was looking and bury it under a rock... Now I thought I had heard it all, but I tried it and within about two-three weeks the wart was gone.....I had tried for years to get rid of it and nothing worked....after the wart left I threw all the different medicines away....to this day I do not know how that worked but I do know it worked and even 50 years later I have never had another wart.

Hey, I like this remedy consideration... When I was a child living in rural area, I had this obcessive fasination with Frogs. At the end of Winter ponds would thaw with floating hibernating Frogs banking on the shore. I'd thaw them out, use them in Science Fair projects, watch them grow, & love them. Everyone said not to play with frogs because their "Pee" would grow Warts. AND I did have Warts all over my hands, & arms. I use to chew at them which drove everyone crazy. One weekend when I was visiting with one of my really cool aunts, she told me if I took a cotton thread in white & counted my Warts & add as many extra that you might think you missed, & tye that many knots in the thread. Bury it in the dirt & when the string roits your warts will be gone.....It worked for me, 8-9 years old. I've paid attention to "Voo Doo" remedies for years... Pretty interesting stuff. Good Luck!

As a child, I had persistant warts on my left hand, I had about 5-6 that wouldn't go away. My mother told me to rub a penny on them. So I did and they went away.

When I was around 12 or 13 I had a large wart at the base of my right thumb nail. I would pick it all the time till it bleed, because I hated how it looked and felt. I remember one day I was out walking for miles, picking my wart as usual, out of habit, when I suddenly got an idea. I thought, if I try to love my wart instead of hating it, what will happen? You guessed it, it went away in a few weeks never to return.

My friend's son at age twelve had many warts on the palms of his hands which caused him much embarassment. I told him that I would 'buy' them from him. I put a pile of coins (approx $3) on a shelf in his mother's kitchen. I told him that now that I had bought his warts they would soon disappear and then he could take the money and use as he wanted. Took about a month. Warts all gone!
Potatoes

I had hundreds of small warts, on my hands, and fingers. Also plantars warts the size of quarters on the bottom of each foot. I cut a small piece off of the top of a potatoe, and rubbed it on my warts several times a day, or whenever I had the notion. I wrapped the potatoe in cellophane, and put it in the fridge, for the next use. I did this for a few weeks, then one day, to my surprise, I woke up, and ALL of my warts had disappeared. Gone, just like they disappeared overnight.

Bad idea! The garlic got onto the surrounding skin (how do you just keep it on the wart?) and my daughters wrist has blistered badly and is very sore!

My son had a wart on his finger when he was about 3. We tried everything. It would never go away and eventually there was probably about 7 warts that had spread onto his finger. I found on the internet to take a garlic clove and slice a thin piece(s) and put it on the wart with a band-aid over it (it does burn, but it works!). Keep it on there & covered for 24 hours. After that, it should turn into a blister. At that point, the wart is gone. Then just treat the blister with ointment. The warts are gone and have never come back.

Crushed Garlic Cure for Warts. Some time ago I had two warts appear on my nose. They seemed to increase in size quite quickly. GP tells me to come back in two weeks and she will burn them off. I didn't like the sound of that so tried a remedy that I'd heard about. Take fresh garlic cloves and crush them and apply to the warts. Keep on warts for as long as possible until they disappear. I used crushed garlic from the jar I purchased at the supermark and applied the crushed garlic to the gauze part of a bandaid and wore a fresh one every night for two weeks. Warts disappeared. Probably go in quicker time if I had used fresh garlic and used it in the daytime as well as at night.
Thuja

I had plantar's warts on my feet for many years. A naturopathic doctor told me to buy thuja oil and finely chop up an aspirin and make a paste using about 5 or 6 drops of thuja oil on the aspirin. Apply the paste to the plantar's warts.
I did it and after about two weeks the warts disappeared completely. Thuja oil can be bought at a health food store or online. There were a few times that I applied the thuja oil directly without the paste. It killed the virus and the warts went away. This was six months ago and my feet are fine, fine, fine!

This is regarding Bloodroot. I have made and have used a blood root past also know as black salve. A doctor that I have worked with now uses this almost exclusively to treat warts. I have never seen it
not work. Here is the recipe:
1/2 cup powdered Blood Root (Sanguinaria Canadensis)
1/2 cup Zinc Chloride, crystals or liquid
1/2 cup common white flour
1 1/2 cup warm water
100ml Chaparral extract or 100gm of powdered Chaparral (Larrea mexicana)
Pre-mix all but the water, thoroughly, before adding to the water. Using a stainless steel double boiler. Put in water, then stir in the other ingredients. Stir in well using a wooden spoon. Cook for thirty minutes over boiling water, stirring constantly. Application is much the same as cansema. Apply a thin layer (2-3mm) of the paste over the affected area and cover for 24 hours. Then remove the covering but do not disturb the lesion at all, do not attempt to pull the cancer out at any time, it should fall out in 10 days or so. Some people with sensitive skin put Vaseline or antibiotic ointment around the cancer so that the paste does not irritate the skin.

My son had a wart on his finger. I bought Thuja ointment, available at any healthfood store. We used it every night for 5 to 6 weeks. He complained that it wasn't working until one day it started drying out and flaked away over the next few days. My husband had 3 or 4 on the bottom of his feet. He also used the ointment with amazing results. This homeopathic OINTMENT will cure warts. Give it time. It is not an overnight cure. And also put a bandaid on top at bedtime.

We're using apple cider vinegar to cure warts. My children had warts. My daughter had one on the bottom of her foot and my son on his toe. the dr prescribed that sallycic acid and it did nothing but kill the skin aound the wart. I tried over the counter remover-- it helped a little. But then found this web site, and it seems to be working. my daughter says it stings a little bit, not bad, and so far it has worked markedly in one day. I'll be sure to let you know in 3 days if it works. From what people say it should only take a couple of days.
