For several years in a row I would consistantly get strep once a year. The last time I felt it coming on, I gargled with GSE(15 drops in h20) and was cured the next day. I havent had strep for about 3 years now. But if it ever comes back, I know what to do. GSE should be in everyones cabinet. Ive had my bottle of nutribiotic GSE for over 2 years now and its only 2/3 gone. Its great stuff, but be prepared-it tastes awful.

I use to get strep throat once every one to two years. It started when I was about 20.I always knew it because I had fever and my throat was so painful with these white yellowish pus pockets all over my tonsils. The doctor said I had a strawberry tongue which supposedly was a giveaway for strep.

The thing that cured me of that was grapefruit seed extract. That stuff tasted horrid. I put about 10 drops in a cupful of water and gargle until it is gone. Sometimes I gagged because it is so bitter but the pain will be gone in about 10 minutes and it won't progress further.

I only had one case where I had to gargle another cup a few hours after the first one Yuck! After that case, which was about 5 years ago, I haven't had another strep throat.

GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract) for Strep Throat:

I absolutely love this site! One thing I haven't seen is the amazing and simple treatment for Strep Throat and several other issues. GSE (grapefruit seed extract) has kept me out of the doctors office for 13 years now. One bottle can last me at least a year or two and it only cost me $12.00. I work around germs and virus' every day (poker dealer)and use it as a preventative measure as well. Just 3-8 drops in water or juice once a day when others are getting sick, keeps everything I'm exposed to from rooting itself into my system. When I have had Strep Throat catch me off guard, I simply mega-dose by taking 13 drops in a small glass of water. Gargle and swallow. Yes, swallow. I do this 3 times a day and keep doing it even though the sore throat is gone within 12-24 hours and The white bumps within 24 -36 hours, for at least 7 days. Just like a script for antibiotics, keep going past the symptoms stage. GSE attacks germs and is even used as a dissinfectant for tooth brushes, countertops etc... It is said it is 50 times more potent than bleach against germs yet the whole bottle (hundreds of doses worth) is less toxic to the body than one baby Bayer aspirin. Google it yourself and see it does natures work like the hand of God. I read it is even effective against Anthrax?

Thank everyone for this wonderful site! I have a question for Chip from Pompano Beach or anyone who uses Grapefruit Seed Extract. I have read wonders about its effectiveness, however, whenever I use it, my skin gets burned. I have attempted to use it as a deodorant and burned the skin under my arms (not too badly, but enough to cause discomfort) also, when I use it as a mouth wash (for coated tongue and other issues), my tongue looks as if it had been sculpted with a chisel. The one I use is 100% pure Grapefruit Seed Extract, but I do dilute it a lot (about 6 drops in 8 ounces of water), the mixture foams and of course, it tastes awful. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

To Sue from Boston: when you apply grapefruit seed extract topically, you need to dilute it with a little water first, or it can irritate or burn tender skin.

It has citric acid in it... It would be like putting lemon juice on your skin.... It can irritate, if not diluted. I have been using GSE capsules for years. My husband and I was without health insurance for over 10 years. We learned what works and doesn't work, naturally. GSE works wonders. and has kept infections away and us out of the ER.

In fact, we have awesome insurance now. I have strep and am taking it (since yesterday). I do not want antibiotics in my body. It messes with my yeast and sugars. So I grab this instead. Much better for your body. And my body doesn't build a tolerant to the antibiotics.
