Hemp Milk

Another alternative to using soy or milk in the Fountain of Youth recipe is hemp milk. I tried this a couple of nights ago and enjoyed it so much that I'd like to share it here. Hemp is high in protein and the EFAs Omega 3 and 6.
In a small pot combine and heat to warm (do not boil):
3 ounces hemp milk
3 ounces water
1 tbl molasses
Stir till molasses melts, and once mixture gets thoroughly heated, sprinkle cinnamon to taste. No extra sweetener is needed.

Dear Valentina, Was very intriqued with your post on earth clinic. How you have remained so young looking and no menopause yet. I think it is wonderful. Could you please tell me what you eat for breakfast? lunch ? (probably your salads {with cottage cheese sometimes}), also what do you eat for dinner? This no grains, rice or beans would be hard, that is my main diet here in mexico but my health is not so good and I am seeking other avenues. Hoping you can find the time to answer.

I am often told that I look much younger than my age. My concern for skin care has led me for many decades to be certain that I get enough protein each day to repair and replenish. It seems to have paid off. I use the formula of one half of ideal weight as the no. of protein grams needed per average day. More protein is needed when ill or under stress. I think it was Adele Davis who wrote on this in the 1960's and I have found it an unfailing formulas for health-the youthful skin is an extra bonus. People say to me "you must have never in your life gone out in the sun" Yet I never avoid the sun purposefully and go about my daily errands with no worries. I do use a light sun screen of course.

Fountain of Youth I'm always being told I look younger than I am or I haven't changed over the years. I just met an old male friend at the funeral of his sister. He looked at me all dreamy eyed and said you haven't changed at all and shook his head. My daughter looked at this guy after he turned around and said, hmmm I can see he cares for you. He heard her and said yes, I still do. I don't think I stopped smiling that day. I know my friend would have to a chuckle out of that one. I moisturize, moisturize, moisturize and keep a very positive attitude. I'm serious if I meet negative people and can't lift them up, baby I'm gone, I don't have any time for negativity. I don't like these two words (I can't) Keep them out of your vocabulary and move on and do the things you want to do. I'm blessed with very good skin, but you can look young even with wrinkles as long as your attitude is vibrant and young. No one will notice the wrinkles, they notice the life in you. Give God all the glory and you will certainly have a wonderful story.

I have been reading a ton of websites for Homemade Shampoo Recipes. Every website or blog had recommended Rosemary. Research Rosemary online and find out all the benefits to it. I am switching from store bought shampoos to homemade baking soda and ACV and will be using the Rosemary oils for my hair. I have dark hair and natural body/curls so I am a little nervous. But I have read a couple of people who have the same type and have had no problem.

yes, I've heard that Rosemary was as good as some of the topical drugs prescribed for hair loss.. also GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) in the form of black currant oil or evening primrose oil can help the skin & hair. Take 500 mg of either twice a day. but be patient. You won't see results for six to eight weeks.

Kittie,
I appreciate your post! It was for the benefit of people like me whose stomach cannot tolerate ACV. I'll put it put it in my pocket for possible use later, remembering your idea of adding a bit of baking soda so it will be gentle on the stomach. Currently, even a very small amount of ACV or lime or lemon with baking soda (1/4 tsp, or maybe less...dont remember) in water makes my Urine Too Alkaline. If someone knows why this happens and what to do about it I'd appreciate the info. Meantime, what I started doing when I'm able is to put diluted ACV on the skin so it can be absorbed that way. After it dries I apply peanut oil to keep ACV from drying the skin. Peanut oil, recomended by Edgar Cayce is the gentlest nicest oil that I have tried for sensitive skin. Also, when I have time, I will Try even a tiny-er amount ACV with a tiny pinch of baking soda... or move on to Other Solutions
Thanks again, Denise

After trying expensive french creams and bio engineered products I've just discovered home remedies on this website and I am grateful for the money savings and the new vitality!
What I use:
3% hydrogen peroxide - this is a great toner, but be careful not to get on your hair/eyebrows as it can lighten your hair color. Otherwise, works wonders on mild acne.
Apple Cider Vinegar - drunk twice a day has helped my energy and complexion. It has also helps me keep lean and slim.
Vitamin E oil - applied to soften rough patches of skin and on hands. Adds a youthful glow and lightens dark spots. Works great.
Last and not least: drink as much water as you can take. Not all at once...throughout the day and with meals.
I am 26 and often get carded when people don't believe I'm over 21. This could work for you too!

Hi. I guess I do look far younger than my 51 years coz people think I'm in my thirties! I smile when people ask me how do you look so young? I smoke and seldom drink beer but I think it's the heart forgiveness and keep smiling keeps you young. Prayer also. I use sunscreen mixed with a few drops of moisturizer everyday.I also take a mineral mulitvit b complex with has the omega 3 included in the pill. I walk my dog for 10 mins trice a day. I hardly keep good meal hours but sleep 8 hrs is a must even if it 2.30 in the morning. I use a scrum on my face once in ten days. That's it. And you know what I can walk as fast as a teenager if not faster! My skin body and hair is yummmmm! luv to all tania.

I am a massage therapist in San Francisco. I am 39 but people guess my age is anywhere from 23 - 29. I think it has to do with a number of contributing factors. Since you asked, I will share them with you! First, I try and get enough sleep. If I don't get enough sleep one night, I make it up during the day with a short nap. Just lying down for 10 minutes often revitalizes me. Since I give a lot of my energy to my massage clients, I am careful to work out and keep my body vital with energy. At the same time I am careful not to work out too much! I lead a relatively serene lifestyle... boring to some, I am sure... I do think my lack of addiction to adrenaline and my determination to maintain my body at optimal vitality contribute to my youthfulness!

I have been doing Facercise with some success, but the naso labial folds only disappear for about thirty minutes after the exercise. I am searching for a better one. I have always been feeling the effects of gravity on my face all day long, until today. I think it's because yesterday I did the cheek developer lying instead of standing. My face felt much more smiley today; lifted. I am going to get a few more books from the library on this subject , & will report my progress if y'all want. Unfortunately I can't get Eva Fraser's book.
A note on the exercises to get lids to be wide open- The only one that's worked for me is the one from Timeless Face, but I alter the time a little, holding reps 6 seconds, 3 or 4 that way, & then an isometric hold for 25-30. My eyes stayed fully open today for the first time, even when I was very tired.
The Timeless Face exercise for lifting up the mouth corners has always worked for me- Carol Maggios exercise hasn't.
For an exercise for younger hands, go to Carolyn's Facial fitness site.
I have also started Tanaka face massage. This is free on youtube. It feels wonderful.
I did the facial acupressure (lindsey wagner's) for 30 days & had absolutely no change.

How do you cook your food without the salt? Are you cooking less salt or totally no salt? I want to start that too but the first time I cooked without salt, when I starved and while preparing to reheat the food I cooked (without salt), my whole body was shaking. I never felt anything like this before whenever I get hungry. Is it because of my body's reaction to no salt food?

Hi, I cannot agree more, the neck seems the first to fall! I have just found this site in the last week, after searching everywhere for natural remedies bought on by the seeing my neck in a photo. I have taken photos and started ACV/ VCO internally and externally last week, so hope to see changes over the next few months. Also I am trying oil pulling, but so far have not been able to last longer than 5 minutes! Any tricks to keep it in longer?
I have Hashimoto (no thyroid action) so I am still taking throxine, just ensuring I leave 4 hours before ACV drink.
Does anyone have a face lightening recipe for age spots? I am rubbing ACV and lemon on the area at present.
And with everyone else a big THANKYOU for this site - I am addicted!

Since castor oil does not soak into the skin easily, I decided a couple of weeks ago to rub castor oil on my face and neck before I go on the treadmill in the morning. I figure since I end up sweating so much, when the pores open the oil will absorb into the skin easily which has been the case. If you jog outside then you will look like a grease monkey - so it would not be such a good idea.

I was told by a friend that his father was and has been taking Garlic though diffrent methods,. Chewing, leaving garlic in Honey then after months of fermenting would give it to his kids instead of cough medicine, He also leaves the Garlic in Tequila for months and each night before bed he takes a shot. He's 81 years old, rides a bicyle and has a girlfriend who is 34 years old and is now pregnant.. I have personally along with my friends and family have been taking Raw Garlic for over 5 years and I havent gotten sick.

Garlic slows down cell production and enhances the immune system.. Thins the blood and is full of antioxidents.. In a male it can slow the production of sperm, making breeding difficult. If you are going to have surgery knock it off a couple of weeks before, or you might need tranfusions... Apart from those minor concerns, I've been taking it on and off for years and at 64 havent a line on my face... If anyone can get hold of the first edition of Omni magazine.. It has a raft of anti ageing tips.. One of the best was fractionated dna.. Left behind at the bottom of the brewing vessel and usually discarded.. This is about the only source of fractionated dna for stiching breaks in the dna sequence. It can apparently be made into biscuits. Basically it's broken and dead yeast cells. Well worth a bit of research!
Raw Food Diet

A RAW FOOD DIET
I once read of a group of pure raw foodists who, after many years on this healthy diet, began feeling decidedly ill, with declining health. They found that their B12 and iron stores were extremely low despite eating high protein vegetables like sprouted grains and exotic fruits and taking B12 shots. They decided to try 3oz of high quality lightly braised liver which is full of iron and B vitamins. Some tried cottage cheese. They were astounded with the results which included complete alleviation of their sick feelings. These old dudes began advocating eating a small amount of meat or cottage cheese at least once a week. Still, there are a lot of dogmatic purists out there who believe in only raw fruits and veggies. I found that they have no answer for genetic allergies which can cause many health problems as well as death. For some, allergies go away on raw as the stomach gets better and some not. There are sooooo many raw food books at health stores and on amazon and the diet is all over the net. Just read and find something that suits you and your lifestyle.
I personally decided after much experimentation and research that what works best for me with diabetic genetics is the following: 1 fruit, large amounts of raw salad, raw juices, and 3-6 oz of cooked meat daily. This works because I'm totally allergic to, in all their forms, wheat, soy, corn, oatmeal, nuts, seeds, egg whites, oranges and all milk products. I will say one thing; the first time I tried raw juices and it was just for 4 days, my hair grew an inch. I know this because I had a brand new straight perm and at the end of 4 days, I had an inch of coiled new growth all over my scalp. So raw is extremely nutrient dense. Research and experiment with what works best for your own body with its unique chemistry and genetic inheritance. Raw does works but follow the rules that work for you.
Rhodiola and Vitamin E

Hi, I tried the rhodiola & Vitamin E fountain of youth formula and it didn't seem to help me in any way. I believe this is because of the brand I was using. If you could email me directly and share the brand of rhodiola you have had results with, I would be very grateful. Also, is there an easy way to take flax seed oil other than mixing it in cottage cheese? Thanks in advance for your help.
EC: Sandy, unfortunately I can't remember the name of the rhodiola that I bough a few years ago (at Whole Foods) that produced such good results except that it was liquid gel cap and it came from Russia... perhaps Nature's Way? It was quite expensive, that I do recall. The second time I bought the rhodiola, I bought the capsules containing powder and it didn't provide the same results whatsoever! In fact, I got a bad headache from it... I haven't tried it since then.
People have been reporting taking flax oil straight up or mixing it in salad dressing.

EC: you may be referring to Gaia which makes a liquid cap. I have only tried 2 brands Now & New Chapter. I honestly cannot recommend one over the others, though only going by the quality reputation that New Chapter has, I've decided to try it for a while. I found the 300mg capsules too much, causing anxiety and now take just half in the mornings which seems to work fine. Someone commented on the softness of my skin (I am 48) I was surprised, though I attributed it to the occasional omega 3 supplements, pycnogenol, and turmeric I regularly take. Pycnogenol has some studies behind it for it's benefits for skin elasticity.
EC: Thanks for the info, Robert!

Garlic
Posted by Mark (Las Vegas, Nv) on 06/20/2012
Garlic is not for everyone. It's also an irritant and can be toxic. It kills brain cells according to the late Bob Beck that invented the Silver Pulse and Beck Protocol.
He said that many, many years ago the airforce would not let pilots fly after eating it because it killed brain cells.
I know personally I can't stand the stuff. It will inhibit my digestion, and make me burp all night long and give me horrible breath. I have to use it very sparingly and be careful. I'm not allergic to my knowledge.
I never have thought it was as great as people say it is. So many better things for fighing viruses and infections without the negative effects of Garlic.
Like Collodial Silver, Lugol's Iodine, Coconut Oil, ACV, Olive Leaf Extract and the list goes on and one. It would be my last choice.
