Is there any difference between the Canadian brand and your brand in the states of 20 Mule borax detergent

Hi, just wanted to mention that in Atlantic Canada you can easily find 99.5% pure Borax at Home Hardware (Natura brand).

For the people in Canada-I live in Montreal Quebec and I buy Borax from Zellers at the laundry section, it is the only place you can find 20 Mule Borax.

Hello... I am very interested in trying the borax remedy for removing fluoride from my system. As you know fluoride calcifies the pineal gland (third eye). Can you tell me what a good borax source would be in Canada? Does it markedly improve the excretion of fluoride? Does it aid in decalcifying the pineal gland? I have also read that iodine assists in decalcifying the pineal gland. If so what percentage would one use? Can it be ingested with water? Thanks so much for your amazing and informative site. I do not think that 20 Mule Team is fit for ingestion. I was unable to find the ingredients list on their web site. According to wikipedia though, ingredients are:
98.7 percent borax with tribromsalan, a microbiocide, and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, an insecticide[2] (but more importantly, a common laundry detergent).

It is certainly not pure with 1.3 per cent as a microbiocide and and insecticide. A small amount, but these things could still be harmful. I do not think that I would ingest laundry borax.

A local industrial chemical supplier has technical grade borax. According to https://growyouthful.com/remedy/borax.php, "Borax is mined and is commonly sold as 99% or 99.5% pure technical or agricultural grade. Possible impurities consist of common elements and salts such as calcium, sodium, potassium, chloride, carbonate, bicarbonate, sulphate and phosphate. So there is no "food grade" borax available or necessary, as long as the supplier has not added any perfumes, colours or additives."

This seems to rule out 20 Team Mule brand. Sophie (Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada) on 06/27/2013 posted that Home Hardware has Natura brand and it is 99.5% pure. Their web page does not list ingredients. But 99.5% suggests technical grade. It seems that Natura is their own brand. https://www.homehardware.ca/en/2kg-borax-laundry-detergent/p/4510274

EC: Here is the 20 Mule Team website with the ingredient list: https://www.20muleteamlaundry.com/about/ingredients/

"Borax is a naturally occurring compound that is found in arid regions similar to salt plains in Utah or Nevada. The mineral itself is made up of Sodium, Oxygen and Boron to create Sodium Tetraborate (Na2B4O7 • 10H2O) and is mined in Central and Southern California. The compound is considered a salt and actually shares many chemical properties with average table salt."

Janice I've found Borax at our local Walmart store, No frills grocery store and Food basics grocery...... there are more, but I just can't remember them.
I hope you're able to find it in your area

I looked in several stores that carry laundry products. After not finding it, I called the company directly and they told me that Loblaws, Sobeys and Metro carried it in Ontario. In the laundry section. Brand 20 Mule Team. You can google to find the company.
