No way I can buy Borax in Malaysia, its banned. I can get Boric Acid a plenty at the Chinese Med shops but no Borax. Reason? Its has been misused. Wonder how. Sigh. Just ordered a box from E-bay at USD10.00 plus shipping total: 25.00. Hope it arrives without any delays

Borax is available in Chinese medical or TCM stores. So there is a chinatown in your area, you should be able to get it there. It is called Peng Sha. The 'e' in 'peng' sounds similar to the 'ir' in the word 'bird' or 'e' in 'her'. The advantage of buying in these stores is that Borax is sold in small quantities and not in the big box as in 20 Mule Team. A small packet is usually less than USD1.00. The Chinese characters are (not sure whether they be displayed on the Earth Clinic Website or not [EC: sorry, no luck with Chinese characters]). You might want to copy them out (without the underscoring) and show them to the shop assistant. Best regards, Cjuan
